i love andriod jaskier so much and perhaps even more the idea of him trying to protect geralt because he just doesn't understand that he can get hurt now?? like hey you gave me a body imma use it to help you out big man

omg yesss. i dont really think he doesn't understand, like he knows he can get hurt and be damaged, and he probably tries very hard to take care for the body that he knows geralt put so much time and effort and money and care into making for him. And he's been accompanying geralt on contracts as an assistant AI for a long while before getting the body too, so he's aware of how much damage geralt can take and recover from.

However he has probably gotten in a few fistfights, now that he's able to stand up to people that are shitty to geralt. (he probably has like. an integrated taser in his hand and he can knock people out with it if needed, but it's not good against many people at once.) (Maybe he can also do a surge of electricity as self defense mechanism, but it can also be dangerous for his own components and fry a few things, so it should only be used as a last-resource thing.)

That said, if he sees Geralt is in actual grave danger he probably wouldn't even hesitate. They probably had a very close call once, before jask had a body, and he was out of him mind doing everything in his power to keep geralt alive until help arrived. Now that he has the chance to stand between geralt and something that can hurt him?? or maybe even remove a vital component from himself because geralt needs it to survive?? hell yeah, he'd do it in a second.

(witchers are cyborgs in this au and geralt has more modifications than any other witcher, i should clarify, cause im not sure i've talked about that here before. I have a LOT of thoughts about this au fkjgndf

for example: the Big Trial and the big change that witchers overcome is that their hearts are replaced with a mechanical one, and their blood is changed to an artificial substance that gives them better healing, is easier to replace in case they loose a lot of blood, and carries more oxygen. This means they can push their bodies way beyond what humans normally can, and need to breathe less often. On top of that, Geralt has an artificial liver, and can withstand more toxins than other witchers) (big thanks to @petrifiedforests for helping out with this hc ❤)

Welp- this is what I got so far- tbh, your’s is even better but I tried- I replaced the helmet with a cap because… well, I didn’t really know how to draw em- 

( As you can see, one part of my brain said “ Yay! Let’s colour!! :D ” while another said “ Uggghhh but I don’t wanna clean the sketchhhhh uuggghhh >:( ” so I just coloured them in VERY messy- )
