Z is one of our favourites to play with, he's the mischievous kid that gets everyone to go along with his shenanigans haha. He loves playing pranks and getting on people's nerves, but no one can ever truly get upset because he's equally sweet as well. He also has plant powers (that we forgot about for while 😅)

The backstory of a lot of these Knuckleses tends to fluctuate a little, but we've consistently agreed that Z was born thousands of years ago while the Knuckles clan were still around and thriving. He was chosen at a young age to be infused with great amounts of the Master Emerald's energy, and was taken from his parents and raised just to take part in the power transferring ceremony.

It went wrong. Disastrously wrong. His body could not contain the power that the Echidna Priests tried to infuse him with, leading to his death. His body was buried and forgotten about as thousands of years went by and the echidnas eventually faced extinction. But no one knew that under the earth, Z's body was kept intact by the power that still saturated his bones. The Master Emerald protected him for all those years.

One day, he woke up. Alone.

There's a lot more to this of course, but we can't reveal everything all at once ahah!

The initial idea for Z in the Echidna's Parade Discord came from an au idea ramble from aphantimes. Just the vague idea of a Knuckles that was killed centuries ago and kept intact and eventually revived by the Master Emerald. At first he was characterised as being around the same age as Game Knuckles, and had a strangely detached personality, barely reacting to finding out he's a walking corpse. A very far cry from our current mischievous little kid!! The story evolved a LOT with many different contributors from the server and we eventually got the Z we have now!

It is! I've changed @ so many times by this point ;3; But yes, it is in fact me~ (life updates under the cut, where I've been, what my plans are, etc)

TLDR; I left Tumblr for quite some time, as I made changes to my life and dealt with everything else. I'm finally on anti-depressants and trying to get back into the art grind.

But to fully update you all, I went to a really bad place mentally. I didn't want to keep going or do anything. The pandemic made things inherently worse as I was kept inside with nothing to do. I turned to streaming, but there's only so much that can do for me. I had a fight with my mom, moved out and to another state to live with friends, where I barely left the house, barely went outside. I was chronically online (Twitter mostly), and without a job, I had nothing to distract me at all. There weren't even any sidewalks where I was, so I wasn't able to walk anywhere. Shoutout to my friend Aimee for taking me Pokemon hunting or buying me gifts because it boosted my mood a bit.

My physical health also tanked. I do not have a single tooth that is not decaying and/or broken. I dealt with a few UTIs, and since I had no insurance, I had to deal with it by myself, that led to a kidney infection. I was in pain for a whole month. My knee is fucked up because I slept on a tiny couch. My sensory issues have gotten worse. My eyesight has also gotten worse. Apparently I'm also allergic to animals, so that explains why my breathing and allergies were super bad while living with my friends.

Another thing that tanked my mood were the gacha games. I got into Genshin, and lets just say the RNG hates me. I'd get increasingly frustrated and upset at having to pull till damn near hard pity, or losing 50/50s, seeing everyone have this amazing luck, that it was depressing. This one's no one's fault but my own, of course.

Now, though, I'm back in with my mom. She's a hell of a lot more understanding, I think, or at the very least we came to an understanding. She still struggles with my being trans, but we're working on it. My dad calls me Q, or Cubone (q-bone, get it?). I'm still struggling to find a job, and so I stream every night on Twitch, as well as having art commissions open. I also have a Ko-fi. As I stated, I'm on anti-depressants now, after so many years of being without, on the max dosage of Lexipro. We're in an AirBNB right now, as my dad was transferred up here, and is going to get transferred again at the end of summer, so moving isn't done yet.

All in all, things are (hopefully) getting better. The Pasta Mafia is still here, it's just changed shape. My current community molded it a little bit, so it has lore now, blah blah. You can find the blog here at @slimesyndicate, and I plan on posting shenanigans when I finally get the chance. Other than that, here is all the places you'll be able to find me! :) I do plan on coming back to Tumblr, slowly but surely. I miss it here. Verse: Marvel’s Crossover

    Been wanting to go into detail on a crossover I’ve been doing on Discord, since I’d like to make occasional references to it! A literal years-long writing project between me and my boyfriend...

   ...I still can’t come up with a better name than the above. Anyways-!

Muses involved:

Harley Quinn

    The first one to arrive in the Marvel Universe. She was “lucky” enough to be found by a local web crawler- Spider-Man- and bummed at his place for a time.

    ...That is, before she realized he was a hot mess and needed her support, more than the other way around.

    All it took was some work between Dr. Strange and Stark, a lot of pleading on Peter’s part...and she had a bunch of freshly made documents. Utilizing them, she took up an old hobby: psychiatry. Now working on R.A.F.T. for the big bucks, she’s been able to get her own apartment (that Peter also lives in) and restart some crime... Keeping it small time, however. Surely nothing would go wrong...?

Current Plot: So far, Kraven (and his brother, Chameleon) is on the loose. Again. She’s flattered Mysterio into reviving his ego. Met Ben Reilly, and caught on rather fast that something was off with “Peter.” As well, a promise has been made with Mr. Negative- AKA Martin Li- to find irrefutable proof that Oscorp sucks.

At the current moment in the RP, she and Peter are locked in the escape effort of all time against “Peter” (Ben); he’s found their retreat at the most expensive hotel in NYC, and attempting to make Harley pay for running off with “his clone”... Oops. 

Later plans involve sneaking into Oscorp to get some answers...but not without visiting Aunt May first. (If all can be said and done easily, hopefully this latter part can still be achieved without shit going full-explosive. Again.)

Hinata Hyuga

    A little over a year after Harley’s arrival, Hinata showed up. Although currently unknown to the general populace, a fight with another high-ranking Otsutsuki resulted in them opening a portal...and sending her there, while trying to make an attack on them. The portal closing behind her...

    Although trapped in the city for the time being- at least, according to Dr. Strange, who’s getting increasingly concerned at the multidimensional shenanigans happening lately- she’s been rooming with Eddie Brock & Venom. Her ability to help them in keeping the city safe hasn’t gone unappreciated...although her strength and odd appearance has made fitting in a bit of a struggle.

    It’s starting to work out for her, in a surprising way, however... Who would’ve known that her looks were good enough for modeling to be an option?!

Current Plot: After a night of kicking ass, saving people, and buying chocolate... The waiting period for Dr. Strange’s call continues. (And...it may never come, given that Harley would have to go home first for Hinata to have her chance. Barring the Otsutsuki showing up again... She’s gonna be here for a long while. Something Venom may be too pleased with, much to Eddie’s concern.)

Himiko Toga

    Currently, it’s unknown if Toga was born into this world or dropped into it... (We haven’t fully decided yet, as her Quirk is interesting to attempt to work into Mutations as they are known in the Marvel sense.) But-! What with her birth family falling out with her and surrendering her to the foster system, Toga got...tugged around a bit. Ended up in America, as a transfer student and foster to an American couple.

    ...Now a certain Spider-Man the Second is having to deal with this oddball in his school. What that means for the long term... Good luck, my guy.

Current Plot: Has met Miles and is curious about him, but he’s not on her list...yet. He just showed her to class, and skedaddled away to get to Spidey-work. Himiko tends to need a little time to figure out people that interest her; however... It’s understandable that Miles would be rapidly climbing ever higher onto said list. Good luck, indeed! He doesn’t know what he got himself into, really...

Pretender!Kal AU

Concept initially by @genshin-idiot because we liked the idea of Kal summoning FGO weapons, then propagated by @gluten-free-okami via discord, this AU is of a Kal who is an Old God who tricked itself into believing it was entirely human before entering TWST. Then, Pretender Class Servant Kallisto is reminded of their true nature when the Dark Mirror becomes terrified looking into the soul of an Old God. Kal still can't speak Japanese here, and Chaos ensues from there. Lilia in particular is Not Having A Good Time™️

Bat Dad Supreme AU

Concept proposed by user Lockdown on ao3, this AU has had a brief moment to shine during the One Year Celebration ask game and will later be getting a more fleshed out side story. This AU is where Crowley hands over guardianship of Kal to Lilia right off the bat. Kal ends up staying in Diasomnia and all the shenanigans that ensue with that; Family bonding with Silver and Lilia, early intro to Tsunotaro, and Kal throwing Sebek across a room.

My love for B. Dylan Hollis has transfered to this extreme crack AU, where Kal turns into Dylan the moment they get a phone and find an old cook book in Ramshackle. Special taste tester guests include Adeuce, Trey, Ruggie, Lilia, Malleus, and whoever Kal can rope into it. Might start as an ask game.

Secondary Isekais AKA Kal gets Isekaid again AU

Ikemen Revolution isekai

From one Wonderland to another, Kal has to survive falling into this actual otome game with the proper protagonist. Platonic interactions ahoy as Kal as Alice the Third tries to live through the powder keg that is Cradle on the brink of civil war alongside Alice the Second.

I have poems about practically any subject you’d care to name. I frequently share these as Google Docs, and may eventually record for Spoken Word for Soundcloud and/or YT. I also have some essays/rants and I’m not sure what blog platform I want to use. Any suggestions? 

I am working on a couple of novels, which I also have samples for in Google Docs.

Will not crosspost within IG accounts or Tumblr sideblogs if I can absolutely help it, so feel free to follow more than one with the expectation you will not see the same thing twice. Will occasionally add something I think of later from a differently focused account, though.

On my main Tumblr, I post a blend of general social justice, mixed with environmental justice and sustainability, and wildlife and cute and/or interesting animals, and also Avatar the Last Airbender. I have a sideblog that is dedicated primarily to ATLA reblogs but also a sprinkling of other fandoms that come up and some discussion on others’ headcanons and my own story. (Next tagging project is probably going to be #Metella Metas) A couple of half-dressed up drawings to go along with my ATLA fic have their own posts. Hashtag: #WMTE

My other main fandom is Undertale, and I have several ask blogs where the characters get into general shenanigans and also speak on topics they’re interested in, and fun facts. Oh and I also do voices and songs for a lot of them on Soundcloud, which I will crosspost links to for your listening pleasure on Tumblr. 

The reason I don’t post Pokemon art to Tumblr on any blogs is because it would take a whole lot of work to transfer the mountains worth of fanart I’ve already done to here. (I’ve already got more to transfer from my first DA account, before they enabled username changes). Also, I am not as deep into the character and worldbuilding aspects of the Pokemon franchise. On Tumblr, I try to focus on fandoms I write for, since it enables text better and people actually evaluate it (unlike my witty Artists’ Comments on DA I spent years submitting, and adding cute emoticons to, which I’m not sure anyone actually reads) so as for my being visually inspired, I decided to keep to platforms that are focused on images. 

The reasons why DA hosts a lot more of my content than IG is (a) I’ve been on there a whole lot longer and (b) I have a heck of a time trying to fit some art and comics to the limited image scale on IG. On Deviantart and the specific Instagram ‘sideblog’ (@metellastella_fandom), Pokemon art ranges from semi-realistic to super cartoony. 

For @metellastella_fantasy, the critters are also posted on DA and it’s much easier to download my lineart than from IG (in fact I’m not sure it’s possible at all there??) 

I have some other sideblogs, but I’d rather not mention them here, because I’m self-conscious about conflict. 9. We really only see Allison, Diego, and Vanya pursue actual careers. What careers do you think the other siblings would pursue if they got the chance?

I THINK Luther should be a mechanic or some kind of engineer bc he’s passionate about building things (model planes) and also was essentially an astronaut, he did all kind of analysis and reports on moon stuff so honestly he could probably work for NASA if he set his mind to it!! Luther is more than he muscle he’s very smart, just not very socially intelligent but let’s be real none of the Hargreeves are

Klaus I think should work in like. A more creative career?? Like I said in one au about him working at a yarn store and knitting in his spare time but I mean I could see him as a florist as well or any career that does on the job training bc I feel like Klaus isn’t super built for school (we stan an adhd icon)

Five would be UHHHH probably some very prestigious doctor of mathematics who probably works on the millennium problems and maybe solves one? Probably ends up doing some seriously complicated mathematics for some serious cash, maybe ends up turning his mathematical prowess to coding

Ben I think would’ve also become a doctor but of medicine bc I think that Ben has a lot of guilt about hurting people and, in the end, would want to do something that helps others - wants to actually save people instead of just slaughtering the bad guys?? Probably does doctors without borders and focuses mainly on kids

I could see Allison transferring from acting into a career in maybe marketing?? I feel like Allison would kick ass and take names in the corporate world like. She grew up with Reginald Hargreeves, none of these old white corporate assholes would intimidate her

Diego I know has boxing outside of being a vigilante, and even though he dropped out of the police academy he could probably work in the private sector if he really wanted to but he doesn’t. I think Diego would be good at teaching a self-defense class or working as like. Maybe a bartender who absolutely destroys anyone who dares slip something into someone else’s drink?

Vanya is passionate about the violin so I’m not sure I can think of a career for her outside of what she’s built for herself tbh with her position on the orchestra (and yeah, she’s not first chair but she doesn’t have to be. There’s only one first chair and the other chairs are equally important), her teaching (and I’m sure that’s very rewarding for her) but let’s be honest Vanya had the most functional life out of all the siblings (and even then her social life was nonexistent, she was emotionally closed off and seemingly had no friends, and i didn’t really see much evidence of hobbies outside of violin which is her career so. career wise though her life was the most in order)

24. What sort of relationship do you think each sibling has with Pogo?

lmao remember when i went off about how Pogo was complicit in the squad’s abuse good times but yeah personally i’m not a big fan of pogo BUT

Luther and Vanya are probably closest with Pogo before everything happened, Luther because he spent all that time in the house and whenever he couldn’t go to Reginald with something then Pogo was always a good second choice. I’m sure Pogo spent a lot of time comforting a young Luther when his father brushed him off and encouraged him by telling him shit like that just being how his father showed affection etc. etc.

Vanya because while everyone else was training, I think Pogo would hang out with her and compliment her playing and generally interact with her more than any of the other siblings combined. He never ignored her, and he seemed to be the most forgiving of the family after she published her book, though admittedly I’m not sure how much Pogo was mentioned in the book

I don’t think Klaus was super close with Pogo? Mainly because I assume Pogo was aware of all the kids training and as such was one of the two (2) adults possessing free will in the house who were capable of opening the crypt door to let him out which. Neither did. But Pogo was kind to them, and occasionally looked the other way with their shenanigans, so Klaus didn’t hate him or anything. He was kind of condescending to adult!Klaus though

I think Allison and Five were both just sort of neutral about Pogo’s presence because neither of them were particularly in need of comfort or kindness or whatever Pogo had to offer to them. But he was around, and he is family, but they just aren’t super close, you know?

I don’t want to think about Grace’s relationship with Pogo because while Pogo was sort of a brother in arms in that he’s under Reginald’s power as well (considering I assume Pogo is financially dependent on Reginald and incapable of leaving) but also like. Pogo knew how to fix Grace the entire time and he didn’t. He allowed Reginald to frame Grace and kept his secrets. He reminded Grace to keep secrets. He’s like? The coworker you think is your friend until he reports something you said in confidence outside of work to the boss and gets you punished

Back from hiatus (sorta)!

Yes hello, it's been a while!! I took a few months away due to the changes in Tumblr I had been seeing, and focused down on my last semester of college and adminning elsewhere. It's been busy as hell preparing for graduation this spring and gearing up for transferring to continue my studies, but I want to start getting more active here as well again.

I can't promise how active I will be, as it may be sporadic and then quiet again here and there, but I do miss hopping in here as my main account. I have a lot of projects I am working on as well as fanart I would love to share, and there are so many lovely individuals I have met as a result of tumblr that I decided returning would be a good way to reconnect.

Not of paramount importance, but it is nice to know how you found them. Were you referred by a friend? Did you see their LemmaSoft Forum post? Were you browsing Twitter under #musiccommissions? Phew, lots of details here. 

We’ve mentioned the game genre because some genres can be more exciting to work with than others (maybe they really dislike the Renaissance period and only want to do Fantasy landscapes). 

Then we give an approximation of the workload requested so that they can get an idea of whether participating in the project would be feasible (maybe they’re looking for a very small side project to do while procrastinating on their thesis). 

The reference from their gallery gives them an idea of the art style that piqued our interest. It could so happen be the case that the style we like is one they are moving away from and don’t want to do anymore. 

Resolution size can affect prices. 

Completion time is important for us to know, since we aren’t currently at a stage where we want projects to stretch for extra long periods of time to accommodate the speed of the absolute perfect artist. 

Payment method is Paypal since we can’t make international wire transfers. This is a little unfortunate for people in certain parts of the world, but they might suggest a similar service available in their country that isn’t a bank, and we’d be willing to give it a try.

Deadline is important because we want them to take into account their schedule before agreeing to join our project. (Might be better to move this to the top of the details list.)

Communication method allows us to keep things centralized. It’s difficult for us to check DeviantArt notes all the time to see if we get a response since DA doesn’t give any notifications.

Portfolio

Now that we have a couple of projects done, we can link a portfolio to them so that they have an example of what we do with commissioned work. Time to show off fancy panning effects and expression changes!

Do be a little bit careful with linking a portfolio that has vastly different styles, as it can be confusing to them. We’ve had a couple questions in artist responses asking if we are looking for an art style similar to Chess of Blades, when we’re actually after something like Red Embrace.

Thank them for their time and digital storage! You don’t know if they read your message (unless they reply, of course), but even still, your message is taking up space in their inbox.

Contact Info

Perhaps the medium you’re sending a message is not the best for having lengthy discussions (e.g. Tumblr Asks). Add some info for alternate communication platforms. And don’t forget your timezone!

Note: Even if they list that commissions are closed on their portfolio, it doesn’t hurt (too much) to still send a message. Oftentimes, they aren’t open for non-commercial or individual commissions but are looking for projects to join. And worst case is they just ignore your message!

Feel free to make comments or ask questions! This is not the only way to contact people, and it certainly isn’t the sole method we use, but it’s definitely one of our main ones.

Roleplayer’s Play Style: OOC Checklist

Roleplay level: Casual / Medium / Hardcore / Storyteller

I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily hardcore? But I like roleplaying for sure. It’s the sole reason I transferred to Balmung. Serious stories with developments, consequences, etc. Long-lasting connections I adore and I love learning the lore and using it to create stories that could very well exist within Eorzea. 

Roleplay Mediums: In-game text-based / Forum play-by-post / Tumblr starters / Google Docs / Skype text-based / Discord text-based

In-game RP lately has been reserved for FC/LS shenanigans but I would love to branch out and start meeting new people again.

I’m moving away from Skype to Discord for more private RP sessions, this is where I normally roleplay my alts or more intimate scenes. It’s good for me as I can reply at work, whilst commuting, etc. 

I’ve not done much forum but I would love to try, and I use Google Docs to brainstorm and store logs.

Roleplay Genre: Action and Adventure / Romance / Horror / Comedy / Criminal / Tavern / Performance

Give me the funny, cute fluff. Or the dark, heart-wrenching, back-stabbing stuff. Either way, I enjoy it if it’s planned and communicated well and everyone’s characters get something out of it. 

Romance RP is reserved to those I trust OOCly and know well, this type of RP for me can quickly get boring if it’s not natural. I ship a lot, but me thinking our characters look cute together does not mean they should get married. 

Tavern RP I occasionally do as it’s good for meeting new people and just relaxing, but I am not particularly fond of Perfomance stuff. I’m bad at writing performance RP and my character reacting to such. 

Erotic Roleplay: Yes / No / Fade-to-black

Like Romance RP, ERP has gotta make sense for it to happen and with a player I trust has a good IC/OOC boundary line. I get bored if it has no thought behind it. What does this do to their relationship? Will it be gloriously awkward afterwards at their next meeting at work? Or has it been a long time coming (snerk) and it’s become an intimate moment shared between two new lovers? 

Fade to Black is fine as well, again, I’m here for the affect doing the do will have on the characters, not just because hur hur sexytimes.

Whilst I love roleplaying with my friends and attending the odd big RP event, I do enjoy the more intense scene you can create with just one other roleplayer. No worrying about post turn order, who’s rolling next, feeling like your post is getting lost in the chat scroll. 

I often DM for my FC and friends and I find a lot of fun creating these plots for them. I definitely prefer story-driven events like this over say... going to a big drinking event or the like.

January Notes: This weekend (1/5 - 1/7) we are working on transferring to a dedicated server. Our regular SMP server will still be up and we will be hosting a server group survival event on our UHC map "Bloodlands" (we run multi-worlds)! :) This January we also plan to incorporate a Creative World, also accessible via our main SMP world. We are also heavy into our Subway system planning, which is a group project that has involved architectural plans, aesthetic designing, mass donations in return for in-game money, and lots of elbow grease! The Subway will house our sign warps, entrance to our Nether Hub, and help players navigate spawn!

    Who We Are

We are a tight-knit group of players from all around the world who are looking for similar players to join our minecraft family. Because our players are so diverse, that typically means we are active at all hours of the day! Our server is hosted in Chicago. We provide a fun atmosphere for players in the US, UK, Canada, Europe, and Australia with very minimal lag. Our player base is well balanced, roughly 50/50 male/female and between the ages of 18 - 65 (so far). The majority of our players are between 25 - 50 and we also have a strong community of mature university students ages 18 - 25.

  We like to do things like jobs, townships, and trading in a more vanilla/RPG way without being too heavy handed with any of it. Our goal is to provide vanilla-feel, with a few semi-vanilla benefits that make it a little easier and more fun. Some like to call it "vanilla with sprinkles". We just call it fun! ;)

  Our spawn was inspired by small-town living like the play style in beloved games such as Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. We have a strong focus on player economy and town building. We enjoy monthly vanilla quests and holiday events. Stonewick is co-owned by a married couple (jellyplz & pointyy) who are young at heart and hope to meet new friends on this journey!   We take our job in rule enforcement seriously, meaning you won't have to worry about theft, griefing, or belly-aching. We like to keep our map pretty and free of lag. We keep our chat wholesome and lite to encourage comradery and positive attitudes. We have zero-tolerance for harassment or hate-speech and have been building an inclusive community for players of all nationalities and walks of life.   We aren’t just building blocks, we’re building friendships. The majority of our players are coming from console to PC or are just coming back to MC after a hiatus. We've even brought complete newbies into the fold, under our wings and excitedly watched them blossom into pros! We have groups of IRL family and friends who have joined our community and added so much to our wonderful group. We're a very warm, friendly community and patient with all questions! It's more fun to learn or relearn a game with friends to help along the way. :) We are a community of mature adults who enjoy wholesome fun in Minecraft and other video games.

  We started in September 2017 and have been gradually upgrading our server. We are dedicated owners who are devoted to providing a long-lasting server to our community. We have events planned out for all of 2018 and have plans for 1.13 and 1.14. We are highly organized with a robust wiki, forums, discord, and we use trello for staff event and server planning. We whitelist players who appreciate the love and hard-work our players have poured into the server and want to participate in its community. We are different from some servers. We work together on things like griefprevention and lag maintenance! This is why we are looking for quality of players over quantity of players.

  Because of the high volume of applications we receive, we have certain standards for our applicants. Our whitelist application requires knowledge of our rules and policies, so please take your time completing it. We look for reading comprehension, personality, and maturity when reviewing applications.
