La musica è quella di Luca Agnelli, top dj toscano che al Bolgia in carne ed ossa è venuto a portare il suo sound e la sua energia tante volte. L'iniziativa è "Io resto a casa e ballo", l'hashtag è #iorestoacasaeballo - Mentre c'è chi soffre davvero negli ospedali, mentre c'è chi si sacrifica e rischia la vita aiutando i malati, artisti e locali danno un piccolo contributo e provano a far divertire chi di solito il sabato sera fa tardi ballando con il sorriso.

Ballare a casa, da soli in casa, per ragazze e ragazzi, non sarà la stessa cosa. Perché è solo nei locali come il Bolgia che la musica aiuta ad incontrarsi e conoscersi, solo mentre si balla nascono amori ed amicizie che spesso non durano una notte, ma una vita intera. Sarà comunque molto meglio di scorrere semplicemente la timeline, arrabbiarsi o sonnecchiare.

Quella che è iniziata a settembre 2019 è la 18esima stagione di musica elettronica, top dj & dintorni a Bolgia di Bergamo. 18 stagioni sono tante, e qui sono state tutte vissute con la stessa gestione.

Nella sua lunga storia, il Bolgia è infatti diventato un punto di riferimento per chi ama la musica house in tutti i suoi colori. Una disco senza aggressività e senza 'esclusività', che punta tutto sulla musica, su ottimi dj e su un'atmosfera scatenata.

Impossibile citare tutti i top dj che si sono alternati al Bolgia. Sul sito del locale c'è un elenco parziale (https://www.bolgia.it/news/). Qui segnaliamo, in puro ordine sparso, almeno Jeff Mills, Ilario Alicante, Sam Paganini, Len Faki, Sven Vath, Amelie Lens, Charlotte de Witte, Marco Faraone, Nina Kraviz, Chris Liebing, Chris Liebing, Steve Aoki (…).

Quello che ormai è uno dei club più longevi d'Italia in assoluto, ha uno spirito tutto suo che ha attraversato e condizionato generazioni di clubber, uno spirito che sempre contraddistingue le notti del club e che va ben oltre la semplice musica e del nome del dj che per una sera si esibisce in console.

Spesso infatti (accadde ad esempio per Steve Aoki) i dj che suonano al Bolgia in breve tempo diventano star globali. Non accade solo perché il top club bergamasco è un bel trampolino di lancio. E' che al Bolgia non suonano solo dj star. La vera protagonista è la musica. Qui c'è sempre proprio quel sound che in un certo periodo fa ballare il mondo.

Ha prodotto musica per diverse rispettate etichette discografiche come Drumcode, Soma, Planet Rhythm, Safari, Tiptop Audio, Paranoid Dancer, Be as One, Truesoul, Desolat, Four Twenty, Dirty Bird, MBF oltre che naturalmente per Etruria beat.

A maggio 2014 è stato protagonista della copertina di Dj Mag Italia scelto attraverso un sondaggio dai lettori della rivista.

A novembre 2016 ha remixato il capolavoro "Porcelain" dalla leggenda vivente MOBY rilasciato su Drumcode.

Sabato 10 marzo 2018 Bolgia, top club di Bergamo ormai stabilmente nella geografia delle realtà che contano in Europa nell'ambito musica elettronica, dà spazio a Luca Agnelli e Sasha Carassi, ovvero due dei talenti più stimati della scena techno italiana. Luca Agnelli, toscano, è in continua evoluzione musicale. Il suo è un sound techno, ma in in esso si percepiscono le sue radici house. Fondatore di Etruria beat records, label internazionale che ha prodotto artisti del calibro di Andre Kronert, TWR72, Electric Rescue, Oliver Deutchmann e molti altri, Luca Agnelli ha prodotto musica per diverse rispettate etichette discografiche come Drumcode, Soma e Planet Rhythm. Grande comunicatore, ogni lunedì è in diretta dal suo studio, ha appena fatto ballare il Fabrik di Madri. Nico Salva headed for Meralco as Ballesteros, Elorde also fail to make KIA cut

KIA’s ‘unconventional’ style of play may not be suited for Nico Salva, Jason Ballesteros, and Nico Elorde as the trio have found themselves out of the Picanto’s lineup for the new PBA season.

SPIN.ph learned from sources that Salva is headed for Meralco as an unrestricted free agent and so do Ballesteros and Elorde, who are both being considered by Globalport.

Salva suiting up for the Bolts would definitely be a big boost to a team that is coming off a strong runner-up finish to Barangay Ginebra in the last Governors Cup.

The 27-year-old Salva will be reunited at Meralco with former college coach Norman Black, with whom he won five UAAP men’s basketball championship at Ateneo.

As early as last season, the young forward had already been on the radar of the Bolts who attempted to get him from Barangay Ginebra via a trade.

But the Kings shipped him instead to Mahindra (now KIA Picanto) for a future second-round pick. He signed a one-year deal with the team and became a regular fixture in deputy coach Chris Gavina’s rotation.

Meanwhile, the departure of the 6-foot-7 Ballesteros meant one less big man for the team which created a stir over its decision to trade the chance to grab Christian Standhardinger with the No. draft pick to San Miguel for three role players and a future first-round pick.

The Picanto are now left with Jay-R Reyes – one of three active players the franchise acquired from the Standhardinger trade – Prince Caperal, and Gilas player Russel Escoto to man the paint for the team in the season-opening Philippine Cup.

Also not renewed by the team aside from the three are Jason Deutchmann and Josan Nimes.

The team, sources said, is also not keen on signing any of the rookies its picked in the recent draft, namely Chris de Chavez, Arvie Bringas, and Christian Geronimo.

TNT overcomes Mahindra for 4th win in a row

TNT import Donte Greene. Tristan Tamayo/INQUIRER.net TNT notched its fourth straight victory but not after surviving Mahindra, 86-84, Sunday in the 2017 PBA Commissioner’s Cup at Mall of Asia Arena. Donte Greene carried the KaTropa with 24 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, and three blocks, while Troy Rosario got 11 markers and four boards. Greene and Rosario came up big but n the end, it was still Jayson Castro, who orchestrated the escape act, tallying 10 points, seven assists, and five rebounds as TNT improved to a 4-1 slate. TNT head coach Nash Racela looked at the game against the Floodbuster as a chance for his team to correct its miscues. But with a few sloppy plays, TNT found itself in another dogfight to the finish. “We were leading all the way and during the half, I was telling the team that this is the time to build and develop good habits during the game. Obviously today, we weren’t able to do that and we still had a lot of mistakes. It’s just good that we’re getting wins despite playing that way,” he said. With TNT holding a slim 83-81 lead, Mahindra still had a chance to pull ahead, but Jason Deutchmann muffed his trey with 31 seconds left. Roger Pogoy kept the door open with a split from the free throw line with 12.0 ticks left, but Alex Mallari failed to acknowledge the situation and badly missed the layup late, paving the way for Greene to seal the victory. Keith Wright topped the Floodbuster with 26 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, and two steals, while LA Revilla had 20. Unfortunately for the Floodbuster, their efforts still weren’t enough as they dropped their third straight game and fell to 1-5.
