every noise (or at the very least a lot of specific music genres) :3
this is incredible, i spent like 30 minutes on here just listening to music genres i had never heard of and then i found whatever deep discofox is and got distracted :3
10/10 recommend (the website not deep discofox)
anyhow here is deep discofox
deep discofox scares me on a level i can't begin to comprehend, i think it's the closest i'll ever get to being a character in a cosmic horror story. when people complain about horrors beyond human comprehension being boring that's because they have never listened to deep discofox, anyhow if i don't post anything in the next few days assume i started a cult to deep discofox

List of weird Spotify music genres that I actually like
Deep Discofox (Dance Pop <3)
Electrofox (Also Dance Pop <3)
Partyschlager (Dance Pop but German. I don’t need to know the words to have a good time.)
Bubblegum Dance (I’m in love. It’s, you guessed it, Dance Pop. But not just dance pop, its Witch Doctor, Barbie Girl, Cotton Eye Joe, Caramelldansen.)
Cosmic Uplifting Trance (exactly what the title suggests. It’s okay. Calming, I guess)
Hopebeat (Apparently Hopebeat is like Poptimism. It’s poprock... but... happy? Emo but happy lmao)
Abstract IDM (Like speedcore but slower and kinder. If you took cosmic uplifting trance and added a dash of speedcore. Like vaporwave I guess)
Dungeon Synth (OH MY GOD <3.
OH MY GOD. I’M GOING TO HAVE SO MUCH FUN WITH DUNGEON SYNTH AND MIDDLE EARTH)
Genres I Thought I’d Like But Didn’t (Unhonorable Mention)
Speedcore (radio noises and static but fast and angry)
Fallen Angel (metal with female singing thats meant to be orchestral but I’m not feeling the orchestra part)
Symphonic Melodic Death Metal (If I didn’t like Fallen Angel why did I listen to this. I’m a classic rock fan, not a metal fan.)
Destroy Techno (DSMP fans cry /j) (It’s just techno. It’s not that bad I just don’t care about techno music.)
Ambient Pop (You monsters just took every background sound that makes pop something you can dance wildly too and removed it and this is what you left behind. You can vibe but you cant dance. I’m so unhappy.)
Ones I Didn’t Listen To But Wish I Did (Honorable Mention)
Pirate (I WANT THIS ITS PROBABLY SHANTIES)
Fake (?)
Axe (*nods* Axe.)
Deep Orgcore (wh...)
Elephant 6 (I didn’t see an “Elephant.” What happened to the first 5.)
Oi
Ai
Bard (Bard?)
Water (is it... just water sounds? rain was another one)
Bebop (<3 aziraphale works for spotify. unless this turns out to be a real genre in which case dont tell me)
Glass
and my favorite: Sound (Not to be confused with Noise Music)

1, 9 (optional), 11, 18, 23, 24 🌟
okay I just screeched when I saw this (have I mentioned I love asks) and my dad who doesn’t know what tumblr is or that I have one was very confused for a minute. anyway so!
1. What did you want to be when you grew up? After the typical stages of wanting to be a vet and then an interior designer I wanted to become a writer.
9. How different was your life five years ago? *insert Bart voice* well, I used to be a lot shorter... kidding I haven’t grown much since I was about 13, which was five years ago. So I was knee deep in my lotr phase, and then Star Trek: Into Darkness came out and jumpstarted a whole new obsession that lasted a few months (god I can’t believe that was five years ago already). Also after that came the maybe second worst part of my life so far which was. not fun. But I’m better and I’m more openly weird now and honestly, I’m awesome, so everything’s kinda fine now.
11. Any unpopular opinions? - I don't take the MCU that seriously. It’s not bad and a good part is genuinely funny but the serious stuff just doesn’t do it for me. - Melted cheese and banana makes the best grilled sandwich combination. - Frodo Baggins is not once a whiny brat but instead very kind, compassionate and hard working at pretty much all times. I love him with all my heart and soul and anyone who disagrees can fight me on this. - Destroy cringe culture. I can like stuff that isn't perfect or is silly or whatever if it makes me happy that's all that matters. - Redemption arcs for antagonists are unnecessary in most scenarios and turn a perfectly good villain into a harmless pet, which I very much dislike
18. Three things you're looking forward to? 1. Going camping with my friends 2. Going to an amusement park with my crush 3. Moving out
23. What can you do today that you weren't capable of a year ago? I learned how to dance discofox, especially the male part, which is absolutely amazing and hella fun. Also reading Tarot, though I'm still learning.
24. What is something you want right now? I'd like to have a genuinely good and practical idea for a shortfilm script thankss. Also I’d really love for Dan and Phil’s gaming channel to come back, but I am fine with waiting.
Thank you so much, this already made my day about 70% better!

Every Noise at Once: Explore Hundreds of New Musical Genres with This Website
With the ongoing coronavirus lockdown, there’s no better time to explore new music. Every Noise at Once has you covered (and then some).
The site covers hundreds of recognizable subgenres like acid techno, fidget house, and speed garage, and ventures into lesser known categories like glitter trance, electro trash, deep discofox and so many more. Thanks to this website, kawaii metal is my new obsession.
We’re also in love with the “scan” feature, which allows users to simply sit back and listen to clips of various subgenres as random until something catches their ear. Then, you can dive deeper into the category from there with specific artist suggestions which link directly to Spotify.
Plus, there’s the Sound of Everything Playlist, which features one song from every genre currently being tracked by the website. The CliffNotes version if you will.
According to the site, “Every Noise at Once is an ongoing attempt at an algorithmically-generated, readability-adjusted scatter-plot of the musical genre-space based on data tracked and analyzed for 4,441 genre-shaped distinctions by Spotify.”
Simply put, it’s a rabbit hole of genre-focused music discovery just waiting for you to explore.
