Izuku smiled brightly as he bent down to accept her hug, “Eri! I missed you!” He laughed, picking her up and placing her on his hip. This time though... Izuku wasn’t alone.

That was the first time she really met Katsuki.

At that, he growled and examined the child version of Izuku in his arms. "You scared of me?" he asked. It was a possibility. His hero costume had been made to look intimidating. Sometimes kids cried—the younger ones, who were startled by explosions and shouting. Not much he could do about the former, but the latter he was working on.

This Izuku seemed to be about—probably five or so. And when he tried to remember Izuku at five years old he mainly recalled shoving him into the dirt and telling him to piss off while Izuku—Deku, then—cried, tears streaming down his face, and asked him to wait up, to let him join their games, to stop being mean.

He swallowed. Yeah, it was a possibility.

But Izuku vigorously shook his head. "Nuh-uh! Kacchan's amazing!" He had not stopped smiling since he'd laid eyes on Katsuki.

Well, that answered that question. "Suck on that shit," he drawled at his classmates.

Summary: “Where the fuck is he?” Bakugo grumbled to himself. Class was about to start, and Izuku was yet to arrive. He didn’t have more than two minutes till Yamada sensei came in. His boyfriend was always on time. Well, that’s a lie. He’s only ever late when he’s gotten himself into fuck knows what. He knew that Deku could handle himself, that shitty Nerd wasn’t All Might’s protege for nothing, but Deku hadn’t even left the school grounds. Much less the building. The Blond had seen him in the cafeteria. The Nerd even stayed a bit longer than Bakugo to talk with his friends, but Round Cheeks, Four Eyes, and Icy Hot were all there. Bakugo bit his tongue.

“Bakugo!” He whipped his head toward the doorway, making eye contact with a highly frazzled Kaminari. Bakugo narrowed his eyes as Dunce Face gestured for him to go over there. He elected to avoid making a scene. He didn’t need any of the extras involved in his business any more than they currently were.

“The fuck do you-”

“Kacchan!” Bakugo was rudely interrupted by a small child. A small child with dark green, unruly curls, and matching eyes. Fuck.

What he saw literally made his heart skip a beat, and not in the romantic sense, because What. The. Fuck. Izuku, who was sixteen not even five minutes ago, looked just like he was when he was four.

This reminds me of a fic I wrote, called As the years hours go by. Izuku is his with a quirk that turns him into a baby, but he gradually grows back, and he gets to live years in hours.

“Where is he?” Katsuki's voice thundered as he stormed through the main entrance of their dorm, worry bleeding out of his words. He had been worried since he got the message from Shouto while he was patrolling, saying Izuku had been hit with a strange quirk while they were trying to separate a fight in front of a school.

Bakugou immediately pressed the call button, and even though Shout guaranteed he was okay and that they were taking him back to UA, that wasn’t enough for Katsuki. No, he needed to see him. Besides, his shift was almost over anyway, so fuck that.

He rushed back to the agency, got changed, and exploded his way back to UA. Never mind that it was maybe a bit far for that, and a train ride would have been more comfortable, he just didn’t have time for that.

He had gotten to UA in 20 minutes, and he was taking the first step on the stairs leading to the entrance when he heard it. A desperate loud cry came from the open window.

Katsuki had urged past the last steps into the door, nearly tearing the door off its hinge.

“Shhhh, Bakugou!” Momo chastised as he walked into the living room. “You’ll only make it worse!”

Katsuki really didn’t bother providing her with an answer, too busy focusing on the (almost comical) scene before him.

Aizawa was looking absolutely distressed by the loud cry of the baby in his arms; All Might was desperately shaking his arms in front of him, chanting, “Oh, no, no, no! Sorry, young Midoriya, please don’t cry! Shh, please!”; Shouto was pacing back and forth with one finger in his ear trying to quiet the noise, while he held his phone against his ear with the other hand; and the rest of the class shying away in the background trying not to interfere while being visibly entranced by little Izuku.

Because, fuck, Izuku… He was tiny. Barely two years old, he guessed. Katsuki too was mesmerized by the little being that he was, even if all he could see was a puff of hair from that angle. But then another painfully sad cry came and that brought Katsuki back to himself.

“Give him to me!” Katsuki stepped forward.

Aizawa snapped his head to him and frowned. Katsuki knew what he was thinking. He knew what everyone in that room was thinking. Bakugou? Be trusted with a baby? No. No, thank you. He hated babies, or at least that’s what it looked like.

But this wasn’t a baby. This was Izuku.

So he ignored Aizawa’s doubt and the class’ surprise and stepped even closer, only now being able to take a good look at Izuku. Katsuki’s chest ached as he stared at something out of Inko’s wall photographs.

“Hey! Hey there, buddy!” He cooed to Izuku, announcing his presence before gently reaching under his arms and taking him. Aizawa grunted, but gave in, giving Izuku willingly. “Hey, shh, it’s okay! It’s okay!” Katsuki hugged him under his backside and around his back, pressing him close to his chest.

Izuku was so tiny in his arms, weighing close to nothing, and he was the most precious thing Katsuki has ever held in his hands.

“It’s okay, Zuku, it’s okay.” Katsuki rocked his tiny body up and down. He gave him tiny pats on his back. “I know you’re scared, but it’s going to be okay,” Katsuki leaned his head over his curls. His hair was so much softer than it was now, and he smelled like the morning breeze in the summer. Katsuki closed his eyes, inhaling that scent and imprinting it in his memory.

Diez años habían pasado desde que lo vió, bueno desde que lo tuvo enfrente, cara a cara; era difícil no verlo, no después de que Izuku debutó como cantante. Se volvió famoso casi al instante, en poco tiempo las fans gritaban desesperadas su nombre en cada concierto, en las calles y cuando hacía apariciones en público. Los noticieros y revistas lo tenían como su favorito, mencionándolo siempre en los titulares y poniendo su estúpida cara pecosa en las portadas. Katsuki realmente no podía entender tal grado de fanatismo, bueno tal vez sí, Izuku era endemoniadamente lindo y cantaba tan bien, que fácilmente podría ser comparado con un ángel. Después de aquellos sucesos en la preparatoria, ambos tomaron caminos por separado, cada uno enfocado en sus sueños y ambiciones. Izuku se fué por su lado y obviamente Katsuki debía hacer lo mismo, pero sin querer, de alguna forma retorcida y casi humillante, sus caminos terminaron por volverse a cruzar.

Man, his feelings for him really run deep and complex

He wants izuku to think that he's better than him, because he wants Izuku to look up to him and think he's great. Which means he wants Izuku's attention, subconsciously even since he was a kid.

Hes afraid of izuku surpassing him, because hes afraid of being left behind by izuku. He's afraid of that because he wants to be with Izuku. But he's also scared of Izuku which is why he wanted to push him away,, but that's exactly why he's afraid of izuku surpassing him. So he also wanted Izuku to back down and be afraid of him instead, but it also gets complicated because he also wants Izuku's attention.

Maybe its because deep down he really thinks he isn't good enough. No matter how arrogant he looks he really has a twisted sense of self worth. Deep down he really seeks Izuku's approval, which ties into (his almost final moments-)

AND THIS may BACK UP THE CASE FOR DEKU NOT BEING MEANT AS MALICIOUS AT FIRST! It might have just started as a way for Bkg to get attention from him.

For (younger) Bkg, everyone else was already, by default extras compared to him. It is by default that he's better than everyone else. It is only Deku (and kind of All Might and other adults but they arent peers so it doesnt count) that he ACTIVELY TRIES TO PROVE he's better than him. And thats because he sees something in him. (which is obvious now in hindsight now that he explicitly said how he feels but man was i dense THE SIGNS WERE THERE ALL ALONG)

You know, i've had this thought: if bakudeku were in a dectective conan-ish AU, Ran!Bakugou would probably blast 90% of the shinran romantic secret identity subplot into nothingness 0.2 seconds flat after discovering deaged-shinichi!Midoriya.

And then Midoriya spends the next forty-five seconds rambling some kind of explanation for how he is absolutely not Deku, what even is a Deku?

Which only furthers Bakugou's suspicion, because there is no way in hell someone else on earth could be as freaking annoying as that dumbass.

"Hah?! Are you mocking me, shitnerd?! Do you really believe that just because you'd shrunk and wore ugly as fuck glasses I wouldn't recognize your dumb mug? Are you actually brain damaged?"

So in the end Deku has no choices but to admit his identity and accepts Bakugou's assistance in trying to dismantle this dark organization where people are wearing dark clothes and (weird plague masks and going around feeding people their sketchy drugs).

Another scene I'd totally envision in this AU is Hattori!Todoroki meeting de-aged!Midoriya and then after a while confronting him ala sports festival.

Todoroki: You... You're acting a lot like Midoriya... and you seem to have similar physical traits as well... And I've heard you're currently living with Bakugou, being taken care by him? From what I observed from your interactions, Bakugou seems actually quite fond of you... which is... odd... considering his personality. Especially since you've supposedly just met.

Midoriya, internally panicking: Shit! He's unto me! He definitely figured it out!

Todoroki: I don't remember hearing Midoriya talking about having a little brother, nor was there any information about it on the internet... Midoriya's parents are both famous public figures who are constantly in the public eyes and it would have been very hard to hide a pregnancy... So you're probably not his brother. Midoriya seems to have gone to his abroad mission right before you ended up at Bakugou's house. The timing is very suspicious and can only mean once thing.

Bakugou (eavesdropping from nearby): Fuck, I forgot how sharp that half-and-half bastard could be!

Todoroki, with a straight face, looking at Midoriya right in the eyes: You are Midoriya and Bakugou secret love child, aren't you?

Midoriya: ??????

Bakugou: ...

Bakugou:...okay never mind, he's dumb as fuck.

(In the end Midoriya ended blurted the truth, because he had the very accurate inkling that if Todoroki kept going in that direction he'd end up with a blasty fist in the face)

I have the sentiment that both Bakugou and Todoroki have the utmost potential in derailing any given predetermined plot/tropes in spectacularly chaotic ways (albeit in a very different direction, but still).... and you'll never convince me otherwise.
