speaking of artstyle what's your fave fgo artist actually? personally for me it will always be pako but wado is close too, though the artist i hate with a passion has to be raita (chests do not work like that!!!) I do like takeuchi's artstyle but i'm on you that his designs for some characters are very bland, while some designs do slap its very hard to not see some of his characters as not artoria/saberfaces bc of his history esp for the girls.

To quote myself: "Raita designing masc characters: KINGS ALL AROUND. Raita designing fem characters: Warcrimes in art form"

and yeah them constantly making up-themselves "saberface" """jokes""" only ever weighs down if not outright disrespects what should be independent characters (We should kill people who call Lakshmi "choco jeanne" <3)

as for fav artists, there's honestly so many at this point it's hard to pick but i'm not gonna count Pako because that would be unfair to everyone else. That said,

Fan Servant Gabriel Part 2

Felt like I didn’t elaborate enough on Gabby as a character last time so I want this post to focus more on their background and character development.

“Fear not Master of Chaldea for I am a messenger of the Lord. By the Lord’s will I appear before you as a [knight class] servant. Mine True Name is “God is My Strength,” or as is more commonly known, the angel Gabriel.”

The Angel Gabriel is one of the most significant figures within the Abrahamic faiths. A messenger of God and high ranking angel like Raphael or Michael. Their most famous action are their role as a messenger conveying the words of God to humans. Amongst the humans they are said to have visited, figures such as Daniel, Mary, and Muhammad. 

Other translations of their name include Gavri’el, Jibril, and others. While they are said to have manifested by the will of god and do indeed possess a particularly high variation of the Heavenly Manifestation skill, even their Servant form is influenced by common legends, tales, and even non canon depictions. The common depiction of them being female or effeminate carries over with them possessing a feminine (but still quite deep) voice and speech patterns. They have no distaste for she and her pronouns. Additionally they are consistently seen with lilies. Their weapon possess lily shaped details and protrusions and when they perform their noble phantasm numerous lilies bloom across the ground.

Angels are celestial entities, though they have been commonly depicted as resembling humans with a few oddities such as wings, they are ultimately unearthly and imposing. Though Gabriel is especially likely to be portrayed in such a manner, their shape is distinctly peculiar and inhumane. They have a vaguely anthropomorphic shape; a head, a torso, at least to arms, and at least two legs or similar appendages. But their body appears to be made almost entirely out of inorganic materials with the most common organic feature being pure white bird like wings. Many of which grow in unusual and unnatural locations for a fore limb. They posses an imposing stature; their minimum height is 190cm. In most forms they typically do not have a face. Even when they do, it appears closer to the face of a statue.

Just when I thought this upcoming summer would finally give Xiang Yu some much-needed development beyond being an accessory to Hinako’s character, the news page decides to slap me in the face with this: 

“Thus, brandishing her motivation, Yu Miaoyi transformed into a swimsuit, but due to unavoidable circumstances, Xiang Yu remained at Chaldea. End of the First Chapter of Part One.”  

I had zero hopes from the start since Danciao is too expensive but c'mon, at least let me stay in my delusions for another day or two.
