For her new book "Monaco", Dafy Hagai finds inspiration and comfort in the provincial glam and fantasy of the local shopping mall in Israel. Using motifs from her favourite childhood hangout, she examines the relationship between femininity, individuality, consumerism and feelings. Lensed through her experiences and specific style, as a photographer working in the luxury fashion industry.

Israeli photographer Dafy Hagai (based in London) has made a name for her playful, sexually curious images of young women amidst a uniquely Middle Eastern geographic, cultural and architectural paradigm.

All images were shot between 2019-2021
