Apathy

Nasus is certainly apathetic in general. This is due to the fact that he must be the voice of reason to the emotionally charged beings that surround him (Commonly known as mortals. I’m sure you understand, Fiddle). Sometimes this leads him to be too apathetic towards certain instances where he should not be. This was especially apparent in his early years after being discovered by Sivir and leaving the tomb where he hid himself away. Nasus could not bring himself to care about anything or anyone around him because the Shurima he once knew was lost. When he emerged from his tomb, he wished that everything would have gone back to the way it was. He didn’t care for the new Shurima at all. It’s probably because all he expected to see were the refugees from the tragedy that happened at the capital city and a bunch of lifeless sand. But once he got to know Sivir better and was shown around her tribe’s part of Shurima, Nasus was given new life and a new reason to feel once more. He was shown how people were thriving once more, Sivir showed him compassion, and he saw hope in the eyes of the people of her tribe. Nasus’s apathy disappeared slowly but surely, turning him into the more benevolent and caring individual I portray him to be.
