one thing i really love about prague (or actually every bigger city) is the amount of alternative dressed people you encounter almost everywhere. going grocery shopping? say hi to the emo/scene kids with their monster energy drinks. visiting a graveyard? maybe you can spot the occasional goth or emo wandering among the graves. on public transport? i get so happy each time i see someone who looks cool. walking around the city? beautiful alt people everywhere. in every bigger university lecture there's some of them and sometimes we sit next to each other and chat. i've got and given so many compliments over hair styles, outfits, band merch, diy stuff...it's so nice to meet people who like the same things as you, who dress the way they want and feel confident doing so. to you all, alt people of prague and the world: you are so beautiful and i love you all so much

i first pictured blonde hair, because i would SWEAR the online pirated version of jdate i first read (which I now can't fuckin find) described him as having "long blonde hair like a deflated afro" but pargin himself has stated (and drawn) john as having brown hair. black is thrown in as a curveball because according to @ghost-orion the czech translation gave him black hair for some reason lmao

Note: Please someone request something i’m so bored and i have no requests

*Tomas knows how to knit! He learned it from his mother and now usually does it if he’s stressed or doesn’t want to remeber his past or Bi-han. He knits stuff for Kuai liang and Syzoth all the time.

* Before sedling as his main weapon Kuai liang was really good at archery

*Tomas had long hair even as a kid but cut it short because Bi han kept telling him that it was gonna be a hinderance during battle

* I don’t think Tomas is as soft that people make him out to be. I think he’s mainly soft around people he knows or trusts

* Even tough Tomas doesn’t speak/talk alot with people he’s really good at combacks. He made Johnny cry with one of them.

* If he wasn’t a ninja and lived an average life Tomas would have definitely had either an emo or scene phase growing up

* Tomas definitely picked up swear words from Bi han when they were young and the proceded to repeat them to Kuai liang (Bi han got his ass kicked)

* Kuai liang + longer hair+ eyebrow slit/piercing. I rest my case

* Tomas is the tallest ,,human” character (idk how to explain it like hes the tallest out of everyone in earthrealm/human)

* Bihan trains in kombat to take his mind off of things

* Kuai liang likes gardening (idk i feel like he’d have a liltte bonsai tree or some succulents that’s he’ll take care of as a hobby)

* When Tomas was first taken in by the Lin Kuei Kuai liang asked him about his Czech culture and heritage to get to know him better

* When the brothers feel intense emotions, aspects of they’re elements will change i.e. When Tomas gets super happy puffs of smoke will start to apear, when Bi-han is angry he will progressively get more cold until ice starts forming on his shoulders or neck, when Kuai Liang is embarrassed if he’s holding something it will burts into flames.

Just got home from day one of a 2 day robotics comp, I'm tired, but feeling a little insane so here's Feral's sleepy thoughts;

-Saw a robotics shirt that said "robotics mom" Aunt Cass would wear that. Like, she knows virtually nothing of how robots work, but she's wearing it to support Tadashi and Hiro's interests.

-Saw another shirt that said "Weird teachers build character" someone at SFIT would wear that.

-Did you know robots get their name from the word robotník? It's a word used in several languages, in Polish it means "worker" and Czech it means "slave/forced worker." It comes from the book "R.U.R." ("Rossum's Universal Robots") in which robots in the modern sense were first imagined as mechanical workers.

-My friend asked in the middle of a convo if I was Autistic after rambling about the differences and connections of Punk, Goth, Emo, and Scene cultures while I was eating a salad.

-Same friend started agonizing after everyone else made him take a colorblind test and him horribly failing.

-Why is FIRST robotics called that?????

about me: you can call me jana (it's not my real name but i'm kinda considering changing my name so i might as well try it out on here), i also go by the nickname of firefly or světluška and i use she/her pronouns, i'm 20 years old, i moved to prague, czech republic less than a year ago, i'm a university student and pansexual

why i made this blog: as explained in my storytime post, my special interest is jan palach and that's where my username comes from - but i post about many different things

Už je zase technicky pondělí, tedy logicky ho začínám Nemocnicí na kraji města. V tomto díle se stalo hrozně moc věcí a zároveň vůbec nic. Pokud vás to zajímá, pojďte dál.

mezi minulým a tímto dílem došlo k nespecifikovanému časovému skoku, každopádně začíná tím, že se narodí to dítě, o kterém jsem vám minule říkala; intenzivně se řeší, že Štěpánková je záměrně svobodná matka, ale slovy naší hlavní hrdinky Elišky Balzerové, „ten muž mi tam vůbec neschází“ #feminismusneironicky

Balzerová je vůbec velmi zaměstnaná, pracovně i romanticky: Němec, s kterým platonicky chodí, ji požádá o ruku (ne, nedali si ani pusu, to bylo specifikováno) a babyboy Viktor Preiss, její pacient, jí vyzná lásku (jsem tým Preiss)

(už jsem vám dlouho neukázala hezky osvětlenou Elišku Balzerovou, mohlo by vám to chybět!)

s Preissem jsem měla velmi awkward soukromý moment, o kterém vám musím říct – vyjmenovával světové metropole, kde působil, pak zmínil letiště v Praze a můj mozek automaticky přešel do módu „nice, Czech reference“; ty vole, dalšímoravskýblogu, koukáš se na českej seriál...

dosud jsem vám zatajila existenci Hanzlíka v roli řidiče sanitky, protože se vyznačuje nulovou zajímavostí, tak ten se prosím vás na konci dílu oženil s Blažejovou ex, která z toho měla radost asi jako by před ní topili koťátka; na druhou stranu měla pěkný svatební šaty a to se počítá

(fascinuje mě, že jsem stejný kytky viděla v sobotu v HMku; každopádně Inu jsem vám ještě neukazovala, plačte za její ubohé obočí)

celou dobu čekám na zlodušství doktora Cvacha a zatím je jenom smutný sledovat, jak se snaží natřikrát napíchnout žílu, Janžurka se mu u toho pochechtává a nakonec to stejně musí udělat Kopecký; jasné poor little meow meow vibes

no a nakonec se na scénu vrací mladý Sova, který je ve svém emo období, a do nemocnice přiváží rodinnou hospodyni Emu (tato epizoda se po ní jmenuje), která si myslím, že stejně zhyne (dám vědět) a zatím jsem ji nikdy nezmínila, protože mi je mírně protivná a neměla jsem potřebu to ventilovat
