So, the Cryaotic situation. The man behind the mask;

There’s nothing I can say better than what I’ve already seen been said about this, those who were more invested than I was, but here are my thoughts on him anyway (prepare for a novel);

Like others probably did too, I found Cryaotic through Pewdiepie in 2011, back when the two would play video games together. Pewds was more my jam then, but I watched a few of Cry’s videos when I could. At the time, I couldn’t watch him as much as I wanted due to shoddy internet where we lived at the time, and school (homework, assignments, etc), but I loved following him through Bioshock Infinite, Amnesia, Dreamfall The Longest Journey, Mad Father and Ib. Just a few I can name off the top of my head. He was a such a change of pace from Felix, if I wanted something a little more chill and yet, still following a game’s story, he was the guy.

He and Pewds are the reason I love the game Ib so much, but more than that, I loved his voice. When I found Cry Reads, I had a field day. He’s a natural story teller, and those videos don’t have massive jump scares at the end like you’d expect, just a captivating, soft voice to really let you get lost in the story. Every year on Halloween, those were his only videos I’d go back to, where I’d light candles, sit in my dark living room with headphones on and my eyes shut as I listened in anticipation every time to Hide & Seek and Children’s Playground, those were my favourites.

Then just before I’d go to bed when I wanted to make myself laugh, I’d end the night with him reading My Immortal. He’s the reason why I can recite chapter 1 off by heart (a useless talent, I know, but my mates think it’s pretty cool haha).

I didn’t really follow him closely after that, until I found Limelight. The song he collabed on with Boyinaband, he’s the reason I found Dave, and I’m still subscribed to him now. I then watched & listened to Spectrum, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Cry always had some great stuff to say, some real insight. I look back through the Cryaotic posts I have on here now and it’s all so bittersweet. When others here have turned to him as one of the “safe” YouTubers to watch, turns out that wasn’t the case.

When I saw he & Chey get together, I thought “aww, cute couple” y’know? Cry was going through a rough patch at the time and Chey kinda pulled him out of it, I liked her too, she was an RT fan as well! After finding out what really went on, I’m glad she got out of there, and she appears to be doing better. My hope is that she can move on from all of this, same with everyone who Cry hurt.

Needless to say, I’ll be deleting whatever Cry posts I have here, though I’m not sure about fan art? I reblogged those for the artists cause I really liked the art, so I’m not sure, what do you reckon?

This rather beginners attempt at FemCry cosplay, in my old house, wearing his colours and the white “mask” I made, which was actually a hair clip. I never wore it apart from those couple of times, it’s been with me through moving several times and once overseas. I kept it on my dressing table as decor until today, when I actually looked at it for the first time since this whole thing happened.

It’s in recycling now. I moved on from Cry a while ago, but now more than ever.

While I appreciate his honesty in the video, the guilt he’d been harbouring, it really doesn’t excuse what he’s done. As a grown man, he should’ve known better. I’m really not sure what’s going to happen to him now.

Cry, thank you for the memories, but I’m afraid that I won’t be seeing you in the next one.

And I’m never going to recover.

Yes it is !Unfortunately,after many issues,misunderstanding and drama around Pewdiepie, he lost his contract with Disney. Revelmode was his idea and a part of this collaboration with them.Unfortunately, he lost this and scare pewdiepie at the same time.

However i don’t think #fanartfriday was the property of disney.

It started the 11 july 2016 and i’d like to loop the loop. we never had the opportunity to thanks them after the unexpected shut down.Revelmode will never come back but we should not forget what they did in so little time.

I figured I would write a little introduction for myself. My name is Larose, I'm from a small town in New Mexico. I turn 19 in a little over two weeks. I am a very strong headed, stubborn Taurus. I'm a demisexual and very short. I enjoy writing and singing. I have been working on writing a book that I hope to one day publish. As a fan of watching "playthroughs" as I do cosplay work, I sometimes fall upon games I would never see myself playing. @harvestergames  first came to my knowlage through a YouTuber called @cryaotic who played the game "The Cat Lady" - a exclusively dark game with gruesome gore in both story telling and graphics. However, the deeper meaning really made me fall for it, as it deals with some major issues and struggles in people with selected degrees of mental illnesses. Huge kudos for them giving this take on something so difficult and making it into games of fighting to push through it. Now almost 3 years later, I by a coincident finds a new release of "The Cat Lady"s predecessor called "Downfall" - Just as horrifying as the later. This story grew on me quite rapidly and I fell completely for one of the characters and ever sense I just couldn't get the thought out of my head that I wanted to make a quick token of appreciation for the game artists at Harvester Games.

So here, a quick picture of myself portraying the character Agnes from "Downfall". Hope I did her justice. MangoSirene is who first pops into my mind. She's a cosplayer and her videos literally got me started in cosplay. She makes cosplay videos and vlogs, and I just really love her videos. She's super positive and her Cosplay 101 series is super helpful.The only other channel I follow quasi-religiously is Tasty because omg food.Otherwise, my favorites include Paint (Jon Cozart), doddleoddle (Dodie), Thomas Sanders, danisnotonfire (Dan), Rosanna Pansino, and Cryaotic.

ah but that’s a normal thing you know, we’re not perfect and we make mistakes!!! but i myself can’t type too so i fully understand you lmao it’s way worse in my native language than it is in english though 🤔🤔 i think i tend to pay more attention to things when i’m typing in other language lmao but anyway

i can find the major basically anywhere, but this is the least expensive place 😔😔 bc i’m not smart enough to go to a public school, also i don’t exactly do ~college~ it’s a 2 year course that’s way more practical but the degree works just like a college one. but my school is actually pretty great in education, it seems, they have really high grades in the ministry of education (my course has a 4 out of 5, and others have 5 out of 5) but some of my classes are pretty horrible too ksjndkj but oh well what dont we do to have a good job right 

i’m basically in the areas of design and technology right, so i’m studying ux/ui design, front end development, some other programming languages and i’ve also been learning drawing fundamentals, so i can go to illustration/animation. I BASICALLY WANNA DO EVERYTHING RELATED TO THESE AREAS LMAO i recently bought a game development course, so i’m gonna start that too!! drawing, illustration, animation, gaming, design, programming, 3d modeling, app development, idkkkk i love learning stuff and doing stuff but actually ~studying~ is a pain in the ass lmao ALSO THANK U FOR LIKING MY CONTENTTTTT, as a graphic designer i feel like i never do enough of ~design~ here on tumblr lmao like my gfx (the few i’ve done) are rlly basic but oh well
