Part of me knew I’d love this show more upon rewatching it . I remember first watching Crossfight and Es all the way back in 2014 . I was definitely younger then and I feel like now I’m older I can appreciate this show a lot more . With it’s characters , plot , development , etc . It’s definitely has more depth than I originally gave it credit for . And I’m glad I rewatched it also , hi Kamon !👋

Looks like I’m rewatching es next . I still think it’s cool Kamon appears before his own season . Something else about all of this is Cross Fight sets the stage for es . In the beginning of Cross Fight B Daman wasn’t popular and it later becomes that way . In most game anime like this the game is already popular . Which is why I really appreciate this decision . The end of Cross Fight marks the re-beginning of the age of B Daman that was in ancient times . And a major turning point in the world of Cross Fight B Daman . I honestly wish there was a series after es cause I really love B Daman and want more of it .

I’ve been binging a bunch of anime for the past couple days.

I finished another watch through of Oso-san (primarily everything but season 1 since I finished that one recently too) and then I started watching Cross Fight B-Daman and Cross Fight B-Daman eS (Or B-Daman Crossfire/B-Daman Fireblast for the English dub) and uh... they were OK. 

I mean... it’s your typical “buy our toys” shounen battle anime but I wanted to try it out. Didn’t rly like it much. There were some moments where I was like “ok wow, this is boring, I wish it’d hurry up and get over with” but I could’ve just moved onto something else. Eh.... IDK, I just wanted to give it a fair chance.

I will say I did enjoy the short episode size (each episode is about 10 minutes) but I was watching the dub so it just combines two episodes into a regular half hour show. Both shows are about 26 episodes in the dub so it’s kind of a regular 52 episode kids anime series. But.... I feel like the short episode time didn’t really flesh out the characters very well.... at least in vanilla Cross Fight. eS did a better job I think. Though it did feel like the story went by way too fast but then again it’s a short air time so... 

But anyways, I can say I’ve watched it! I guess I’m done with B-Daman unless K/ssanime wants to put the second season of Battle B-Daman and the earlier series up.

After that I started watching Battle Spirits: Shounen Toppa Bashin. Honestly it’s a lot better than Cross Fight. It reminds me a lot of Duel Masters since it’s a card game anime but that’s prolly where similarities stop. x3c I like the art style a lot, I think the main designer was also in charge of the Powerpuff Girls anime from a while ago since the main dude looks like the boys. There’s also super cute animal mascots in there which are always the best part of any anime<3

I also really like that they don’t go waaaay too into Battle Spirits. If you don’t know what’s going on, that’s fine, they just skip to the good part so you’re not left watching five episodes of set up or anything like that like how Yugioh is. Also it’s pretty good since it doesn’t focus solely on the game, it’s kind of slice of life-ish which is good since that’s mostly my pace of anime. I’m more than half way done with it and I’m hoping the other seasons aren’t like that but... I’ve heard Oso’s, Kara’s, Ichi’s and Jyushi’s VAs are in the other seasons and I’m looking forward to that! Also I think one of them has a rly good ending song by Daisuke Ono<333 

Uh... anyways I’ve just wanted to put my thoughts out since Twitter be too short for that or I’ve already said some pieces like that on there. Also since I’m on my desktop instead of my laptop which has a broken T...
