Saw Eliza (Clarke) and Tasya (Echo) at Dutch Comic Con (HDCC) today. To answer your first question: yes, they both looked absolutely stunning!! 🤩🤭 As a bonus, the Q&A panel was also very fun and interesting. Didn't take notes (or pics 🙈), but here are some things that stood out to me:
Tasya auditioned for multiple roles before getting the part of Echo, one of them being Anya's. They both concluded not getting that part was for the better, since Anya died and all. After a few auditions she also started to wonder what these people wanted from her, until she read about Echo spitting Bellamy in the face and it all became clear to her.
Eliza's least fav season was season 3 (too dark and gross) and season 7 (she didn't like killing Bellamy). Tasya agreed.
Eliza is positive that Clarke would do back flips if she could, if that would impress Lexa, "because she loved her. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ " She's also sure Clarke could do back flips (while she herself can't).
Asked about their toughest scenes to shoot, Eliza mentioned the long night filming in the rain when Finn died, while Tasya talked about the running around barefood in nothing but bandages after Mount Weather. Emotionally, Tasya also mentioned having to tell Bellamy that Octavia died.
There was also a very funny story about being visited by an actual bear while filming in the mountains/woods. Apparently Eliza raised her hands at that moment and Tasya thought it was her (pretty strange) reaction to the bear. It wasn't till now that it turned out Eliza was just following the script and had no clue about that freaking bear coming up behind her. (Sorry, this is probably one of those "you had to be there (in the audience)" kind of moments - I swear it was funny though!)
If they could have played anyone else, Eliza would have picked Murphy, Tasya would have picked either Octavia, Lexa or Jaha.
When asked which character they'd "get back from the death" they named (after a little one on one 😄) Lexa, Bellamy, Monty, Harper, Jasper, Finn, King Roan and Luna. I was this close 🤏 to shouting Madi, as I'm sure they'd agree if they'd thought of her! (FYI us Dutchies are not the shouting through panels kind of audience) I did appreciate they started with Lexa and love that they thought of Luna though!!
When Eliza heard about Lexa's return in season 7, she was stoked, because she loved seeing and working with Alycia again, but then she was "urgh!!" after finding out it wasn't really Lexa - yet still she was happy "because Alycia is just so cool".

False Victory - THE 100 REWRITE Chapter Twenty-Nine
[THE 100 MASTERLIST]
Previous Chapter / Next Chapter (07/23/2024)
Summary: The battle was over. Alie was no more, but that wasn't necessarily good news for the survivors. There was no real victory as they were already faced with the news of an impending doom, another praimfaya. They had to find a way to survive, or in a few months, the remnants of humanity will disappear completely, leaving no one behind. And it fell to Clarke, Bellamy and Michelle, to go figure out a way to survive what was coming.
Words: 4.4k
Warnings: The 100 season 4 spoilers (episode 1 "Echoes"), blood, aftermarth of the battle, fluff (but sad lol)
Bellamy, Clarke and Michelle got down the tower and upon stepping outside, and the first thing they came across was the body of a man lying on the ground, a large pool of blood spread all around his head. They saw the survivors piling up bodies, either distressed, crying over their dead, or completely disoriented and confused, having a hard time processing what had happened, after they had been chipped and mind controlled. This was a sad and unnerving sight. Michelle was thankful she hadn’t lost anyone, but she felt for those who weren’t so lucky. She could never have lived with killing her dead, because she would have done in a desperate attempt to save Bellamy. She wasn’t chipped and wouldn’t be able to tell herself that it wasn’t her doing.
“She’ll be okay. Octavia can take of herself.” Clarke told Bellamy, wanting to be reassuring. Michelle saw the girl kneeling next to Indra down the street. Bellamy didn’t meet Clarke’s gaze and shook his head.
“That’s not what I’m worried about.”
“She won’t be charged. Everyone will say that Pike had it coming.”
“Maybe we all do.” He said, eventually looking at her. Their three faces were all tainted with worry and concern. This whole day felt so strange. After what Clarke told them, it felt nothing like a victory. Clarke’s pulled her eyebrows together, the corners of her lips turning downwards. Michelle was listening to them, still watching the grounders gather their dead in the square.
“How do we tell these people that the world is ending after everything they’ve been through?
“We don’t,” Bellamy declared. “not until we know Alie was telling the truth.”
“It was the truth.”
“Still, we keep it to ourselves until we know what we’re dealing with and how to stop it.”
“Damn. You’re afraid of how people will react.”
“Yes.” He wasn’t about to try and deny it, but his seriousness quickly lightened as a smirk appeared briefly on his face. “Besides, I could use a break from keeping you alive. You gave them back their pain, Clarke. Let’s not add to it by telling them they’re gonna die in 6 months.” She quiertly nodded. “Good. Once everyone’s down, we go home, we get to work. We didn’t survive this long just to let a little radiation take us out.”
“Thank you, for keeping me alive.” Clarke then said softly. Unfortunately, the peace was short lived when a woman wailed nearby, leading to Clarke running towards her as the latter was kneeled next to the body of a man just sat there, his head falling forward. “He didn’t fall. He chased me in the city of light. Lexa killed him.”
“Wanheda.” The woman stood up, glaring at Clarke, accusing her of doing this. People began staring at the trio, surrounding them.
“Well, this isn’t ominous at all.” Bellamy and Clarke both gave her a look from the corner of their eyes. Michelle’s quiet observation wasn’t supposed to be this sarcastic, but Murphy was probably rubbing off on her, as he did when they were together in the beginning. They walked around and found Abby and Kane had come downstairs.
“Good. You’re down. We have to go.” Clarke exclaimed. “The rover’s in the north woods.”
“What about the wounded?” Abby asked.
“Grounders don’t want our help. Our people we’ll treat at Arkadia.” The girls agreed, nodding at Bellamy’s statement, when Raven’s voice came over the radio, trying to reach out to him. Michelle looked at her two peers’ step away to take her call and knowing they would tell Raven about the fate of the Earth; she went to join them. Raven was reporting to them. Telling them everyone was okay on their side. Bellamy spoke close to the radio. “There’s something we need you to look into.”
“First, tell me how my friends are. Did everyone make it? Clarke?” The latter took the radio to make herself known, thanking her for her help. Michelle assumed Raven somehow helped her in the city of light.
“Did Alie ever tell you why she created the city of light?”
“No... Why?” They looked up as they heard a grounder proclaim that King Roan was still alive. He had been shot by Kane himself before chaos unravelled in the throne room, but apparently survived. He needed a healer ASAP. Clarke sent Bellamy to take care of filling in Raven with the news while she looked back to her mom, and they ran toward where Roan had been carried. Michelle and Kane followed them there. They got down to his side and after she was told he was shot trying to help Clarke, Abby checked for an exit wound but there was none. They had to get the bullet out quickly but then, a blade was suddenly drawn to Clarke's throat, and she had to step away from Roan. It was an Azgedan woman, given she called Roan her king. Abby tried to reason with her, saying she could help if only she would let her, but the Azgedan dismissed her offer. They had their own healer and she seemed dead set on not letting them, Sky people, touch the king. Bellamy came rushing towards them, calling her by what was probably her name, Echo, and Michelle wondered how he even knew her already. Maybe he met her back at Mount Weather, among the emprisoned grounders. That was her only guess. Kane grabbed his arms, stopping him in his tracks.
“Let her go, Echo. Let her go.” He repeated through gritted teeth. He wasn’t playing when Clarke’s life was at stake. Echo wasn’t keen to talk with him, telling him off. Panting, Clarke attempted to speak with her.
“Your king is my friend. Let us help him.”
“I saw you in the city of Light. I know you destroyed it. Thank you for that.” She then uncermenously pushed her towards her peers and she stumbled, catching herself on Bellamy. “Look around you. Skaikru did this to us. Because of them, Ontari, your rightful commander, is dead. This imposter stole her flame.”
“No.” Michelle looked at her father as he rose his voice angrily. “Wanheda saved us, all of us – grounders and Skaikru.”
“There would have been nothing to save us from if not for you.”
“Azgeda has no authority here.”
“We do now.” She argued. “In the name of King Roan, as rightful caretakers of the throne of the commanders, Polis is now under Azgeda rule.”
Another grounder woman chimed in, walking towards her, challenging the claim she made, demanding where her war chief was, but as she then replied, the latter was dead. Michelle noted she called the woman ambassador. Echo, being apparently a member of the queen’s guard – the late mother of Roan who was previously Queen of Azgeda – informed that command of the army had fallen to her, until the king woke and came to his senses. If he even did.
“Until a new commander can ascend, Polis is to be ruled by ambassadors of the coalition. If Azgeda wants it, they must take it by force.” As she was speaking, Echo swinged her sword across from her, slitting the woman’s throat and Michelle’s eyes twitched, taking a step back in shock. Her father put his arm in front of her, grabbing her shoulder and making her move further back, bringing her closer to him in protection. Feeling her father pull her back, she reflexively brought her hand upwards and held onto her father’s arm and stared as blood poured heavily from the woman’s neck, her eyes wide as her body collapsed to the ground in a thud. With this act, Echo made it clear that Azgeda had taken the city. And she then declared that no Sky people was to leave the city, trapping the lot of them once again. And it would be so until Roan woke up, as he would, hopefully, restore and uphold the coalition and make Skaikru the 13th clan again, as Lexa did before she died, and it all went to shit. He people shouted in unison.
“Looks like saving the world will have to wait.” Bellamy mumbled to Clarke and Michelle. The two slowly turned their heads towards him, looking at each other with a concerned frowned. Roan was transported in a room inside the tower and Kane told one of Arkadia’s guards that came with them to gather the others. They couldn’t enter the room where Roan was so they stood in another, with candles all over the walls.
Michelle was standing near Clarke as the latter looked at the flame in her hands. She looked up upon hearing her mother talk to Kane, and so did Michelle. His wrist and hands were hurting, and Abby softly lifted the top of his bandage, peeking at his wound. Michelle’s heart sank at the though of her father out there on the cross, until he gave in and took the chip. And to think she was going to kill him… She desperately wanted to not think about it, but it was all she could think about, and the guilt it brought. He held Abby’s face softly as he spoke to her. Michelle and Clarke glanced at each other, a tiny smile raising the corner of their lips. They grew up together, their mothers being best friends and they became best friends themselves, and they always considered themselves to be like sisters, but seeing their parents be together, they really were a family, and it was a nice, recomforting thought in the midst of all these troubles. Indra and Octavia then came in and he walked towards them. They looked at each other and bringing an arm behind his back, she pulled him into a firm but friendly hug. Michelle took her eyes off her dad and turned around upon hearing someone walk behind her. It was Bellamy. He stopped by her and Clarked, his arms crossed.
“You’re not gonna like it.” He instantly told them.
“When you destroyed the city of light,” Indra spoke up. “there were a thousand Azgeda warriors inside the city of Polis.”
“Good timing.” Octavia commented.
“Only way to remove them is by force.”
“Then let’s remove them.”
“Slow down. You’re talking about a war.” Abby tried to talk to her daughter.
“Yes. Rockline, Flokru, and Broadleaf will join Trikru without question, but we’ll still be short.” Indra’s addition didn’t convince Abby, who still thought this was madness and while the idea of a war was indeed madness, they had to do something about the Azgedan hold onto Polis. Clarke wanted to act; her mother wanted them to leave the city with the others while they still had time. Michelle agreed with what her father then told her, because he was right. The Azgedan knew their whereabouts, they knew where Skaikru lived, and fleeing would only lead them to follow them back to Arkadia and attack their camp and they wouldn’t be able to fight an entire army.
“There are 8 other clans.” He continued. “How do we get them to join us?”
“I can do it, but I’ll need the flame.” Indra turned to Clarke, but the latter refused to give it to her.
“Clarke, the clans will follow whoever has the flame.” Bellamy said.
“Azgeda won’t.”
“Then we fight.” Octavia spoke. “That’s the point.”
“No. No, it’s not. The point is, there’s no time for a fight. We have to save Roan.”
“Save him? They won’t let us near him.”
“Wait a second.” Abby stared at Clarke, sensing something was wrong. “What don’t we know?”
“The reason Alie created the city of light.” She paused, glancing at Michelle and Bellamy before telling the rest of them. Pinching their lips, they gave her a nod. “Nuclear reactors inside the power plants that survived the bombs are melting down. Radiation levels are already rising. If we can’t figure out a way to fix it, all of us will be dead in 6 months.” Both Kane and Alie were somewhat doubtful of what Alie had told her but they had Raven looking into it and in any case, Clarke believed that the AI had said the truth about what was happening to the power plants.
“Even if it’s true, that’s 6 months away.” Indra noted. “There are thousands ice nation warriors on the street who want to kill us today.”
“They won’t kill us.”
“How could you possibly know that?” Octavia asked Clarke.
“Because we’re gonna surrender.” Everyone looked at each other, clearly baffled, not knowing what to say to that. It seemed there was really no other choice for them anyway. The group exited the room they were kept in and met Echo and the Azgedan warriors outside, pushing Jaha in front of them. He looked like he was in pain, and it was easy to assume they had beat him. He was, after all, the one who initiated this whole Alie situation, bringing the key with him and encouraging people to take it. Echo grabbed him, said something to his ear and threw him their way. He fell on the ground, held his side as he winced from the pain as he struggled to get up. Kane was the one to come forward and he helped Jaha as the latter stumbled in his direction. He spoke to him as he hugged him, because this whole encounter was actually just a distraction. Michelle carefully looked up to the side, to where she knew Bellamy was posted with a sniper. Michelle knew Jaha had brought them a body, supposedly Ontari’s, so that she would be with her people, but it was really Octavia being sneaked in the room to take out everyone there and clear the way for Abby and Clarke so that they could take care of Roan. Michelle knew she wouldn’t be of any use to her friend, and they didn’t need multiple snipers watching over them out there, so she just stayed with her dad.
Night had fallen. Michelle and Bellamy were talking with Indra and Kane, standing around the other guards from Arkadia, by the light of the torch. Michelle was quiet, leaning against the wall, starting to feel somewhat tired, barely listening to the conversation the others were having, and she stared into space, until she saw movement from the corner of her eyes, to her left and she looked yo, realizing it was Murphy walking towards them. He was accompanied by that girl she saw him hug back in the tower. She hadn’t paid much attention to her back there so she barely noticed her, but she could take a real look at her then. She had markings on her face, like some grounders they had seen before. They had stopped in their tracks, the girl telling him something, but Murphy crossed Michelle’s gaze. It seemed his girlfriend didn’t want to go towards them, so Murphy went ahead and approached Bellamy and Michelle. She slightly nudged him and motioned towards Murphy with her chin. Indra saw him look away and called him back to the conversation which revolved around Echo and the Azgedan. She was apparently part of the royal guard, which were literal spies, untrustworthy.
“That’s why she’s not marked. Very dangerous. Very loyal.”
“Not to the people who saved her life.”
“Bellamy, I know how you feel about her, but you can’t lose control.” Kane said. “You offer them technology, guns, whatever it takes to keep her talking. Is that clear?”
“I didn’t agree to give them guns.” Indra argued.
“Well, that’s probably because you’re not an idiot.” Murphy joined the conversation. Kane then assured it wouldn’t get that far, they only really wanted to buy themselves some time for Abby to save King Roan.
“If you want to help, grab a weapon, stand a post.” He then told Murphy and Bellamy handed his gun to him. He gave him a nod, but Michelle was staring at him, and she might be standing somewhat in Bellamy’s shadow, the flame’s light flickered in her eyes. And she actually knew Murphy quite well, and she knew he hadn’t walked up to them to simply offer his assistance. She knew he had his own agenda and with his girlfriend standing a few feet away, who she crossed eyes with for a second, she was sure of it, and then it was as if a light turned on in her head and she subtly shook her head. Murphy and his girlfriend wanted to take off, but the guards were in the way. That was the only possible reason why he even came to talk to them in the first place. She wasn’t disappointed, she expected something like this, and she stopped looking at him, kind of ignoring his presence, which he noticed because she felt his eyes on her but didn’t look back. Bellamy walked ahead of them, she stayed behind with her dad, Indra, Murphy and the guards as he headed towards the Azgedan, sat together in the distance. They immidietaly all stood up as he came in their area. Michelle saw Murphy go to stand in a corner as he was supposed to stand post and cover for him, but with everyone moved out of the way, he could leave if he wanted and as he turned around, he almost walked into Michelle as she stood right behind him. She wasn’t even going to stop him, but she wanted Bellamy’s gun back. She had a smaller gun in her hand and turned it around, putting the gun’s butt against his chest. He apologized, though he didn’t precisely say it was because he was leaving without a word, yet again, but they both knew she was already aware of his intentions so there was no need to say anything else.
“Just fucking go.” She spoke under her breath and grabbed Bellamy’s gun and watched him sneak away from the corner of her eye as she stood post in his stead. She leaned against the stone wall, in a corner and watched as Echo walked down the stairs to meet with Bellamy. After a few minutes of watching them talk, Echo turned around and Bellamy grabbed her wrist to stop her, prompting both sides to step forward, her warriors raising their swords. Michelle tightened her grip on the gun’s handle. She still didn’t take aim, keeping its butt against her shoulder, the cannon facing down. Echo didn’t take kindly to him grabbing her and immobilized him on the ground, putting her knife to his throat. She rose her voice to Michelle and the others.
“Guns on the ground or he dies.”
“We disarm, we’re done.” Indra told Kane, quietly.
“Abby’ll come through. Do what she says. Guns on the ground, now.” The guards obeyed, and Michelle came out of behind the corner, standing right beside her father as she put down the gun. No one had realized Murphy was gone. It really all happened the exact same way as months ago, when it took people an entire afternoon to figure out, he was gone. They had more pressing matters to tend to anyway, she wasn’t eager to tell anyone about him leaving. They had to watch as Bellamy was unceremoniously picked up by a guard and dragged away as Echo headed for the room where Roan was kept. They heard some yelling, but it subsided. No screams or ruckus. Roan had probably woken up. Azgedan guards then came for the rest of them, some fled, but Michelle, Kane, Octavia and a bunch of the guards were put in a cell, shackled to the walls. Sat on the floor, curled up with her cheek crushed against the wall, her eyelids twitched and opened as she woke up with a subtle jump after having a nightmare about the grounder strangling her back in the elevator. She sighed and frowned at the daylight coming through the barred window at the top of the wall. She lifted her head and kinda looked around before standing up, with Bellamy and Kane chained on both sides of her.
“Your cheek’s red.” Bellamy said, almost in a whisper, smiling softly.
“At least there’s no blood on it.” She was used to getting blood on her at this point, as she always managed to get herself hurt. She got on her tiptoes to try and look out the window but ended up just glancing at her chains after she pulled on, unconsciously bringing her hand to her neck. She kept to herself about her bad dream and stared at the wall until they heard noise coming from the cell door. The grouder keeping guard opened it and a whole bunch of them walked in with a determined step.
“Wanheda, on your feet.”
“Where’s the king?” Clarke stood up as Echo came to face her while the guards held their blades up to the prisoners. She cried out, asking to see Roan but a cloth was thrown over her head. Bellamy and Michelle immediately reacted, with Bellamy trying to call out to Echo but no one got any answer. On their way out, the grounders threw a punch at Bellamy, making him bend over, his arms pulling on the chains. Michelle instantly went for him, grabbing his arm as they watched their friend being taken away, helpless. But they were soon reassured when grounders came to free the rest of them and everyone joined the crown outside as Roan stood before them, with his bone crown on his head, addressing his people. Michelle knew he was a king but that was the first time she actually saw him as such.
“I know you’ve all come here for an execution, but no one else will die here today. The city of light has fallen… and there is no commander left to rule us. Until another Nightblood ascends, I – King Roan of Azgeda, eldest son of Nia, grandson of Theo – am caretaker of the throne, and keeper of the flame.” As he spoke, he raised his hand, showing the flame in between his fingers. Some people seemed to protest, though Michelle didn’t quite catch the meaning of their words, but she understood their tone. “Until another ascends, Azgeda honors and will defend the coalition of the last true commander – Lexa Kom Trikru, including the 13th clan. Let it be known that an attack against Skaikru is an attack against us all.”
After his speech, they were met by Echo. Bellamy walked up to her. She was impassible but her annoyance still transpired as she barely pronounced a few words, handing him something from the king. She unfolded the leather wrapping the small object and revealed Roan’s seal, allowing them free and safe passage in any of their lands. He grabbed it and she took a step towards him, her mask cracking. She didn’t look so threatening but Michelle had no idea what they were saying to each other. She could see in the spy’s eyes, the anger or annoyance or whatever emotion she previously had was gone and she seemed somewhat unsettled or disappointed or maybe both as she stepped back, glancing over his shoulder at the group standing behind him, her lips tight. “Welcome back to the coalition.” And she walked away. Bellamy turned on his heels and went back to them. It was time to leave the city.
“We’ll do our best to keep the king on his throne.” Kane assured.
“We’ll find a way to beat the radiation.”
“If either of you screw this up, we die.” Octavia then added, looking at Bellamy, Clarke and Michelle who were standing side by side in front of them. “No pressure.”
“This is serious, O. If anyone finds out why Roan helped us, it’ll be every clan for itself. The king will fall, and they’ll come after us.”
“It’s getting dark. Let’s do this.” Clarke spoke again, before the siblings came for each other’s throat again, or rather, before Octavia felt like it. At first, Michelle watched Clarke and her mother hug and wish each other goodbye, and her eyes then went to her own father. She didn’t want to say goodbye to him again, after having just reunited, a day prior. Sadness tainted her eyes. He shared a handshake with Bellamy, tightening his grip on his hand, the other on his shoulder, to make him look up at him.
“You turn the page, and you don’t look back. You do better than you did yesterday. You understand?” Bellamy subtly nodded, without saying anything. “Before you know it, you’ll deserve to survive.”
“I hope so.” With all that happened, it was understandable that he wasn’t sure he was worthy of surviving. Kane let go of him and turned his head to Michelle, looking at his daughter tenderly, tucking strands of hair behind her ear, before they drew each other into a tight embrace. He softly kissed her temple, stroking her back and she rested her face on his shoulder, closing her eyes, hoping this moment would last forever.
“May we meet again.” She finally uttered, opening her eyes again, a tear rolling over the bridge of her nose. She reluctantly stepped back, his hands holding her shoulders. It pained him to see her sad, and for her he held it together, but he was no less affected by the fact they had to go their separate ways again.
“May we meet again.” She knew how much they had come to mean to each other, and he was now, without the shadow of a doubt, the person she loved most but it really hit her in this moment. She saw in his eyes, how much love he had for her. She felt guilty for ever giving him the silent treatment when she was mad at him, or blaming him for the death of her mother. Later, she would apologize for it all, and he wouldn't even need to think about it before forgiving her. He cupped her cheek in his hand, “I’m proud of you.” and added in a whisper, only for her to hear, “I know your mother would be too.”
She nodded, her lips sealed tight so they wouldn’t quiver, and she lowered her eyes as they got watery again, taking in a deep but shaky breath before she took a step back. Bellamy put a comforting hand on her back and locked eyes with Kane. The two men looked at each other understandingly, giving each other a somewhat solemn nod before they turned around, and left Polis with Clarke. Michelle wiped off her tears and held her head high, looking straight ahead of her.
“Okay, princess. What now?”
“Now we survive.”

Quick! Name your fav unfinished/abandoned fanfics. Maybe shouting their names into the void will bring them back like some kind of Beetlejuice situation.
(A gal can dream lol)
Cool ask!! You didn't ask me to specify a fandom, so I didn't. As I've been going through my bookmarks, tagging them and sorting them into the correct collections, I've noticed several unfinished that I miss. Please do not judge how incredibly insanely varied my tastes are. If an author had a tumblr, I tagged it. Please note this list is heavily influenced by nostalgia:
At the Office by wolfqueen1015 , 62/70 chapters, The 100, multiship (but I read it for linctavia (Lincoln/Octavia Blake)), last updated 2/22/2021.
As a linctavia shipper, I actually did not care if Clarke was with Bellamy or Lexa, and read many a fic I enjoyed that went either way for side linctavia. (I will sincerely apologize for that @catthestral497). This is a bellarke fic, beware. It's just a silly stupid social media fic that I found really funny in 10th grade, and I actually think is still funny. I want my last eight chapters.
operation braven by orphan_account , 19/? chapters, The 100, multiship (but I read it for linctavia (Lincoln/Octavia Blake)), last updated 7/3/2018.
It's my honest prerogative to say The 100 is a bad show, it's really not good, but I have read this fanfiction all the way through at least five times and some of it lives in my brain in place of childhood memories. Again, it's a silly social media fic but it's so funny, I miss it.
Infinite Variations by Someone_else_before , 17/? chapters, Stranger Things, mileven (Mike Wheeler/Eleven), last updated 1/1/2018.
My guilty pleasure for so so long has been 2016 post season one Stranger Things fics. I think they have infinitely cooler plotlines than the actual show. This is slightly different, it's a full season one rewrite where the Demogorgan never comes and never takes Will, and Eleven and Mike meet through dreams. I could die to find out how this fic ends, it's been like six years.
Perry the Evil-Adjacent Boyfriend series by Kereea , 15/? works, Phineas and Ferb, perryshmirtz (Heinz Doofenshmirtz/Perry the Platypus), last updated 8/29/2020.
STAY WITH ME ON THIS. Me and my roommate decided to explore this tag as a joke (highly recommend), and I stumbled upon this?? Incredibly sweet and wholesome gem?? Anyways its about a human Perry who quits OWCA and adopts the kids after his brother Lawrence and Lawrence's wife Linda die in a car accident (insane premise) and then him and Doof raise the kids with Vanessa? It's literally so wholesome and cute and family friendly, god I love this fic I have to go read it again I wish there was more.
New Elysium by Cloud_Nine , 16/? chapters, The Walking Dead, multiship (but I read it for gleggie (Glenn Rhee/Maggie Greene) and richonne (Rick Grimes/Michonne)) last updated 3/21/2021.
This fanfiction. Lives with me almost every day, I am FURIOUS that there isn't more of it. This is a fic about the members of Rick's group waking up before the apocalypse began but some have their memories of the events to come, so they start gathering, finding each other, and setting up the best location to hunker down. I just for some reason could spend hours reading about their little house mission and the seeds and working on getting generators to the farm, god, the tension of the time ticking down gets me.
New Chat Created: North Island Daggers by Comin2U , 24/24 (now marked complete), Top Gun movies, multiship (but I read it for icemav (Tom "Iceman" Kazansky/Pete "Maverick" Mitchell) and a lil for the hangster (Jake "Hangman" Seresin/Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw), last updated 7/29/2022.
This fic, ohohoho. By now you all know I love a social media au, a text fic, anything of the sort. But this fic is creme of the crop of any social media au. It's just so magnificent. It's my fav thing ever, which is found family, and involves my two favorite things to see in a Top Gun fic; icemav adopting the dagger squad post mission, and also the Daggers being shocked and then pissed at Rooster when they discover Mav is married to Ice. Also Ice using sign is always a fucking bonus to me.
Spider Sully series by @alexihollis , 11/? works, James Cameron Avatar movies, Spider Socorro & Sully Family, last updated 4/11/2023.
I've raved about this fic enough for you all, but once again! This is the og and if I had my way it would go on forever and ever and never end. Especially now that it's ended up on the front lines fighting for aocorro, which you all also know I've recently decided I enjoy.
I Believe We're The Enemy by reginalds , 7/10 chapters, Spartacus (2010), nagron (Nasir/Agron), last updated 8/13/2015.
This fanfiction was last updated in 2015, but I only watched 2010 Spartacus in 2021 and that's what hurts most of all, huh? What a fantastic show. There would probably be a ton more nagron fics on here but I stopped reading unfinished fics from 2012 😔. Like genuinely though I've bled that fandom dry, I've read every single Barca/Pietros fic that exists.
The Pride of Burrough House by RonsGirlFriday @constitutionalweasleymonarchy , 23/65 chapters, Harry Potter series, multiship, last updated 12/8/2023.
This fic is still being updated, I believe it's just slow because each chapter is an epic. It's just really cool and you all should read it. It's a regency era Harry Potter fic which like, all the ships getting their own plot. Also love love Harry just, growing up rich and cool with his parents lol. I think the dialogue is super fun and I'm very invested in every characters plot so far.
a study in poor judgement by cze , 7/8 chapters, The Goldfinch, boreo (Theodore Decker/Boris Pavlikovsky), last update 8/29/2022.
It's so close though!!! I've read every boreo fanfiction that exists too, and for a bummer of a book, it's a bummer of a fandom as well lol. This fic (although it also manages to be a bummer), puts Theo in such a funny predicament that it combats enough of the bummer-ness that I just loved it. And just like almost every other boreo fic, it's stupidly well written.
Best Laid Plans by voiceoftime @music-is-love-90 , 30/40 chapters, Bridgerton, kanthony (Kate Sharma/Anthony Bridgerton), last updated 3/24/2023.
This is my favorite of my favorite type Bridgerton fics to read, which is Kate and Anthony courting from the beginning instead of the nonsense with Edwina. And this one is just *chefs kiss* I think it's still being updated as well though. Hopefully.
Holding On and Letting Go by Nizhoni93 , 9/? chapters, The Black Phone, rinney (Finney Blake/Robin Arellano), last updated 9/8/2023.
I have pushed this fic before, but once again it is absolutely heartbreaking. I cried seven separate times reading just one of the chapters. I need it finished so I know if it works the fuck out, because I literally cannot handle ghost Robin being stuck watching the boy he loves but can't see him for the rest of Finney's life.
When Eywa Sleeps, So Do Her Children by Aye_Dei , 9/9 (now marked as complete), James Cameron Avatar movies, Ao'nung/Neteyam/Spider, last updated 10/23/2023.
This one is a massive bummer, as it was ended due to newfound bigotry, but I was really enjoying it before it was discontinued.
And finally, I just wanted to express my deep disappointment that my icemav Star Wars au was deleted halfway through. I'm mad about it.

While it’s stated Luna would beat Lexa - that was when they were like 12. Luna then stepped away from fighting while Lexa went on to conquer and unite the 12 clans. Furthermore, that’s just what Luna believed. Titus knew her skillset and he didn’t mention anything about that. If she’d been such a good warrior, I’m sure Titus would’ve said more. Furthermore, Lexa’s truth strength was how clever she was. That’s how she beat Roan, and that’s probably how she would’ve beat Luna - that’s how Octavia beat her. Lexa did struggle with Roan, but so did Luna. Roan would’ve had her if not for the acid rain I fear. Then i saw someone say it’s Lexa, Luna, and Roan at first with Blodreina coming in second….lmao no. By the time we get to season 4, Octavia is the best fighter in the show. That’s why the final conclave made no sense - they were making it seem like Octavia hadn’t been killing great warriors, and wasn’t feared all over. She did not need to hide, she could’ve easily faced those people. Octavia is literally a prodigy. She was killing bitches before she was trained in arms. And when she started getting trained by Indra, she mastered that shit in a couple of weeks. Like let’s be serious. I just don’t think it’s realistic that Clarke never thought to just do a bone marrow transplant with Luna. That way she could take the flame - to kill Alie if not become commander. It would’ve been so easy too:
Luna: “Is that what you think? Wanheda - Mountain Slayer. How do you sleep at night knowing you killed all of those people?”
Clarke: “Don’t try this with me Luna. It won’t work. I did what I had to do to save my people. And judging how you just flipped me over, I’m assuming you’d do the same if people came and started drilling into your friends for their bone marrow. You may want us to think you’re some great pacifist, but if you truly believed in non-violence you wouldn’t have kept up your training all these years. You wouldn’t have guards on this ship either. Titus was right. You’re not a pacifist, you’re just a coward who’s using that as an excuse. *Clarke breathing heavily*
Luna: *stares*
Clarke:”…wait.” *Clarke stops to think before turning to look at Luna* “Mount Weather….Luna. You don’t want to take the flame right? You don’t want to be commander? Well what if you could give your blood to someone else? Give someone else the ability to take the flame?”
Luna: “And who would I be giving my blood too? You, Wanheda?”
Clarke: “ Whoever. I don’t care. Just one of us.”
Clarke would prep Octavia for the job and argue with Bellamy about the danger she’d be in becoming commander. Octavia is hesitant but she’s down. However in a shocking twist, Luna chooses Clarke to bear her blood. Why? Because she can see how much she loved Lexa, and how much her people believe in her. End of episode.
Like c’mon. You can’t tell me that couldn’t be a scene right out of the show.😭

Bellarke AU: Pain?
Bellamy disappears without a trace and Clarke tried everything to find him but she couldn't, Bellamy had gotten taken and then he escaped. Do Bellamy and Clarke tell each other how they feel or do they just go on with being Co-Leaders?
Ao3, FF
Clarke’s P.O.V
Have you lost someone that you loved so much that it killed you once they were gone? You saw them even when you knew they were not there and no matter how much you remind yourself that they are gone...they won’t go away. Bellamy disappeared 6 months ago and there has been no trace of him, for the first 3 months I looked nonstop until I couldn’t anymore, I never got to tell him how much I loved him and I wish I had but it’s too late now.
I am running camp by myself now and I miss him so much...Monty, Jasper, Murphy, Harper, and all of my other friends think he was taken by Lexa...my ex-girlfriend. I broke up with her because it was either I move my camp closer to her or I leave my camp completely...she also wanted me to stop talking to Bellamy all together. It wasn’t worth it, I'd rather still talk to Bellamy and run this camp with him then be with her, but would she really take him away from me like that. Octavia sometimes still goes out and looks for him when she is missing him the most, I would go with her but I have the camp to run and I know every time she goes...she comes back with nothing, and I can’t put myself through that.
We’re having a little celebration for Monty and Jasper because it’s another year of them being friends and it’s an excuse to drink moonshine and party. I wish I could say that I will for sure have fun but I can’t because my best friend and the man I love isn’t here with me, he isn’t here to make me smile and have a good time so I don’t know if I will without him. I go out to the med bay to see how the sick are holding up, they are doing okay and hopefully they will be out of the bay soon, I have even more work since Bellamy disappeared and I wish I had him, I wish I could find him, and I wish I could have told him how I felt about him.
Jasper comes into the med bay and asks “hey, are you okay?”
“Yeah Jas I’m just busy and I miss Bellamy” I tell him.
“I know you miss him, we all do but you need a break...come to the party tonight and calm down, relax”
“How can I relax when Bellamy’s gone”
How can I be able to relax when the one person I love the most has been missing for 6 months and no one…not a single person has been able to find any trace of him. How can you disappear without a trace like that? How could he disappear at all? It's funny to think about now because he used to hate me and he thought I most likely hated him but the truth is that I never hated him even when I wanted to…I never could. When we first met I didn’t like him very much and I have never lied about that but as time went on things changed and when he wasn’t around I wanted him around and when he was around I never wanted him to leave. He just disappeared and no one found anything that could show where he went or what happened to him. Why was he taken from me? Why was he taken at all?
“Clarke, I know you miss him but we all do” Jasper says to me.
“I don’t just miss him, I loved him and I needed him, I knew if I had him by my side then I could do this life thing but without him I don’t think that I can” I say to Jasper as I cry to him.
“You loved him?”
“Yes, I fell in love with him and now he is gone”
“Are you suicidal?”
“It’s not the fact I want to die, it’s the fact that I don’t want to live without him”
“I think he’s still alive Clarke” he says as he puts his hand on my shoulder. “If he wasn’t and someone took him because he disappeared without a trace they would have sent his body back on a silver platter”
“You still think Lexa did this?” I asked him.
“You broke up with Lexa and Lexa knew how Bellamy felt for you, god everybody knew how he felt about you, anyway and she was jealous because she knew he had a shot with you and that she lost her chance”
“How did he feel for me?”
“It’s not my place to tell you Clarke, but what I can tell you is that he cared for you a lot more than anyone else”
“More than O?”
“He cares about you in a completely different way, so in a way…yeah”
Bellamy’s P.O.V
6 months. It’s been 6 months since I was taken, and it has been 6 months since I saw Clarke, O, Jasper, Monty, Murphy, and everyone else. I am worried about all of them and I know they are worried about me or they think I’m dead, I have been locked in a cage for 6 months and I don’t know why they are keeping me alive. I don’t know who is behind this but I have a feeling that it’s Clarke’s ex girlfriend Lexa, she never liked me and she never will and because Clarke broke up with her she thinks I have a shot and she knows that she doesn’t have a shot with Clarke anymore. I hate not knowing if they are okay, I hate not knowing if Clarke is okay and I wish I knew and I wish I knew O was okay as well. Everything was almost perfect and then someone kidnapped me and held me in a cell for 6 months, I almost had the guts to tell Clarke how I feel about her and then someone knocked me out and when I woke up I’m in a cell.
All I want is to be able to make it home to Clarke and finally hold her in my arms again and tell her how I feel without chickening out, because that is all I want to do. I never got the chance to tell her when she was right in front of me because I was scared but I’m tired of being scared, I just want to be able to tell her and I hope she feels the same for me. I have been trying to find ways out of the damn cell and I can’t find a way, they feed me every 2 days and give me a cup of water everyday then they leave and don’t come back until the next day.
Why are they keeping me alive? What is the reason they want me alive? What am I of value to them? All these questions I have and none are answered because I don’t know who is doing this all I have is what I believe which I could be wrong. As I am thinking of who could be keeping me in a cell making sure I am fed and have water after they kidnapped me for some reason one of the guards came in.
He opens my cell and says nothing, he ties my hands behind my back and we walk across a courtyard and into a tower. Why didn’t they blindfold me? I don’t know but because they didn’t I know where I am and I know who is behind this and I was right it was…Lexa, I am in Polis.
They sit me in front of a throne and all I have is a fucking smile on my face because this is funny as hell that she kidnapped me just to keep me in a cell to make my people and the people I love think I am dead. “Welcome Bellamy,” Lexa says to me.
“What the fuck is this? You kidnapped me just to keep me in a cell for 6 months…long enough to make my people and the people I love think I am dead and for what?”
“So I can bring you back alive and she will take me back”
“Oh wow…so this is about Clarke”
“Who would it be about? Of course it’s about Clarke and when I take you back to your people you will not tell her it was me who took you and you will tell her I found you and helped you heal then I brought you home”
“And what if I don’t?” I asked her with a smile on my face.
“Then I will kill you and go to your camp and tell them I found your dead body and get Clarke back that way” she says to me.
I didn't say anything to her and I found a way to get out, there was a knife right next to me and so I took it and cut the rope that was around my hands without Lexa knowing as she was talking to her guards. They leave the room and I knew of a secret door and I take it and make my way to the forest to get the fuck out of here, I ran and I didn’t look back.
I ran…I ran for so long and I didn’t stop until I got back to the camp.
Clarke’s P.O.V
I ended up going to the party to make Jasper happy, it was almost sunrise by the time most of the kids went to bed, there were still some out and talking and drinking. I drank quite a bit but I had sobered up a little bit so I wasn’t drunk, just tipsy. I was about to go to bed when one of the guys who was watching the gate said that someone was out there, I opened the gate and I couldn’t believe who was standing on the other side of it.
“Bellamy?” I said in disbelief.
“Princess,” he said back.
“You're alive” I say to him as I hug him as tight as I can.
“I’m alive, I’m okay” He says and he hugs me as tight as I am hugging him.
“What happened to you?”
“I was taken by Lexa”
“Jasper was right? Oh my god”
“Where is O?” he asked me.
“Asleep, go see her just meet me back in my tent” I tell him.
Bellamy agreed and I went back to my tent to wait for him to come in so we could talk, seeing him stand outside of the gates of camp made my heart stop beating and hugging him made me stop breathing. I need to tell him how I feel about him and tell him how much he means to me because if I don’t then I never will and I need to, I love him so much and he needs to know. Meeting Bellamy was one of the best things that has happened to me and yeah I didn’t like him at first but I ended up loving him anyway and I wouldn’t ask for anything different. He brought light into my life and nothing could take that light away unless they took him away and I am going to kill Lexa for taking my light away. I sat down on my cot and started sketching, I didn’t know what I was sketching at first until I realized that it was the beginning of a face…Bellamy’s face. Ever since Bellamy went missing I started drawing him all the time and it was because I missed him and loved him so much and that was how I coped with him being gone.
For 6 months he was gone and I thought I would never see him again, I had hoped that I would but part of me honestly thought I was never going to see him again. When I saw him at the gate all that hope I had was turned into love for the man in front of me, he was alive and breathing and he wasn’t dead. When I hugged him I had gotten the best feeling in my chest to know it wasn’t in my head that Bellamy was alive and breathing and wasn’t dead, and I know Octavia will be almost as happy as I am that Bellamy was here and safe and okay after 6 months of him being missing. Drawing was my only escape from feeling the pain and sadness that I felt when Bellamy went missing and I love him but when I was drawing it was like he was here with me as I did. I would draw him every chance I got because I didn’t feel the pain of him being gone when I did but as soon as I was done I felt the pain and sadness all over again.
I ended up falling asleep by the time Bellamy had come in my tent and how I knew he came in was I heard him breathing and I felt him come over to the cot and cover me up and kisses the top of my head. I had woken up at this point and he sits down at the end of my cot still thinking I am asleep and he starts talking…
“You have no idea how much I have missed you, yeah I know me of all people missed the sassy princess but I did…a lot. You were the one I was trying to get back to the most and I didn’t know if I was going to be able to when I was first taken; but as time went on and they kept me alive I knew it was possible. I know you probably can’t hear me which might be a good thing but when I was in that cell I wasn’t really worried about O, I was but I wasn’t, I was worried about you and I know you can take care of yourself but I was constantly worried about you. Anyway I’ll leave you be but when you wake up come get me” he said to me.
So I pretend to talk in my sleep “stay…” I said.
“Princess you awake?” he asked.
I grabbed his hand but I made sure he thinks I am asleep and I think he got what I was trying to tell him and he ended up climbing into my cot right next to me and had wrapped his arms around me. I felt so safe in his arms, I never wanted him to take his arm away and I want to hold me forever, I love him so much and he feels like home. I end up hearing Bellamy start snoring slightly and that made me happy to hear that he is sleeping, I end up falling asleep again not too long after hearing Bellamy.
*Next day*
When I woke up and Bellamy was still asleep with his arm wrapped around me, I felt safe in his arms and I wanted nothing to change. I want him to hold me and never ever let me go, have you ever felt that kind of love for someone? I just layed there watching him sleep still in disbelief that he is home safe and sound in my arms, he was missing for 6 months and now he is home and breathing. Lexa took him and made me and the whole camp think he was dead and for what? To make me suffer then well done because she did and I will kill her for what she has done, not only taking him hurt me but his sister and the kids at camp that looked up to him.
He looks so peaceful when he sleeps and it looks like nothing can hurt him but the awful painful truth is that he was hurt, I don’t know what she did to him but what I do know is that whatever she did do she is going to pay for it. I just watch him breathing and hoping that he never stops breathing, seeing him breathing makes me want to stay breathing. He then opens his eyes and locks eyes with me and then he smiles. “How long have you been awake?” he asks.
“Not long, we need to talk” I say to him with a small smile.
“I know we do, I missed you”
“I missed you too, nothing was right without you, most of the time I didn’t even know what I was doing…I was numb without you”
“Clarke…”
“Don’t, please”
I sit up and turn my back towards him, I don’t want him to say anything…I don’t want him to say that he cares but he doesn’t love me the way I love him and if he did say that then I think it would kill me. “Clarke…look at me” he says but I don’t and I look at the floor. “Please look at me” he asked again and I still didn't look at him so he put his hand on my cheek and made me look at him. “What do you mean you felt numb?” he asked me but before I could answer someone outside was screaming.
We ran over to them to see if they were okay and what was going on and of course someone was training and was by mistake shot, they took the girl who was shot to the med bay and I turn to Bellamy “We’ll talk later” I tell him as I turn and walk to the med bay.
Bellamy’s P.O.V
Just my fucking luck that someone would get hurt when I am trying to talk to Clarke about something important, she was about to answer my question when someone was mistakenly shot. She told me that we would talk later but I didn’t want to talk later…I wanted to talk now but I walked away and went to make sure the wall was up to date. As time passed and Clarke was still working on the girl I knew that most likely the girl would not make it and Clarke would be a mess afterwards, I had also had time to catch up with Miller.
An hour goes by and Clarke comes out of the bay crying, she walked right past me out of the gate, of course I ran after her and she stopped running when we got to the waterfall. She sat on a log and cried, then she screamed as loud as she could and I think it made her feel a little better. “Did that make you feel better?” I asked her when she sat back down.
“What are you doing here?” she asks me while trying to hide the fact that she was crying.
“You ran out of camp, I wanted to make sure you were okay” I tell her as I walk over to her.
“I’m fine”
“No you’re not, she died didn’t she”
“Yeah she did, she was only 16”
“Come here”
I pull her close to me and she wraps her arms around me and she starts crying even more and I let her. I hate to see her so upset but as she cries in my arms I try to memorize the feeling of her in my arms and her letting herself fall apart in my arms. She sits up and looks at me and then she starts smiling and it was the most beautiful thing that I could see. “Thank you for being here” she says.
“Well I wasn’t going to let you come out here alone” I tell her as I keep her against my chest.
“We have to get back to camp” she says as she starts to get up but I didn’t want to go back yet, I didn’t want to let her go and I didn’t want to make this moment disappear.
“Wait” I say as I grab her wrist and bring her back down next to me. She looked at me with a question in her eyes like she was asking ‘what?’. “We need to talk and I want you to listen to me and what I am saying and when I am done then you can say whatever you want” I say to her, she nods and I place her hands on mine. “When I went missing the only thing that I was thinking of was trying to get back to you, I knew O would be fine and I know you can take care of yourself but I was constantly worried about you. When I escaped and I was running through the woods the only thing that kept me going was getting back to you and then I saw you and I was beyond happy” She is looking at me with tears in her eyes. “Before Lexa took me I was getting up the courage to tell you something and the day I was going to she took me, and what scared me the most was the fact I might’ve not been able to ever tell you” I say as I look down, our hand were still intertwined.
“Tell me what?” she asks as she puts one hand on my face and makes me look her in the eyes.
“That I am in love with you” I said to her, she looked shocked at first and then her expression softened and a smile appeared on her face. “I love you so much”
“I…I love you too” she says and I couldn’t help but smile at her. She then pulls me down to her and our lips connect with fire and compassion. As it gets deeper and hotter the more I wanted more so I knew I had to break the kiss so I did.
“We need to get back to camp so I can show you how much I love you in my tent” I say to her and with that she and I left hand in hand until we got back to the gate and she ran to my tent so I ran after her.
Writer’s P.O.V (Smut warning)
Bellamy and Clarke enter his tent and as soon as the flap of the tent is closed their hands are all over each other, his hands move over her waist and hips pulling her closer to him. Her hands were round his neck and when she felt his arms go around right under her ass she jumped up putting her legs around his waist. He carries her over to the makeshift bed and lays her down, he abandons his shirt and then he helps her take hers off along with her bra, he stops for a minute and just looks at Clarke like she is the only thing in the world. “You sure you want this” he asks her. Without answering she pulls him back down on her kissing him with as much force as she could and flips them so that she is on top, she pulls off her pants and then sits on Bellamy’s lap again and starts rocking against him. His hands land on her hips as she rocks and then he is pushing his hips up towards her.
As they are grinding on each other small moans and groans fill the tent, Clarke tugs on Bellamy’s belt and when she gets it off of him she throws it across the room. Bellamy chuckled and helped her get his pants off, after they were off Bellamy flipped them back over so that he was on top, his kisses started getting sloppy and kind of all over the place. He pauses and looks at her so he can memorize what she looks like when she is under him like that, she looks at him and smiles. He leans down and locks his lips with hers and he goes slow at first then he moves from her lips to her jaw and then her neck and he hits her sweet spot so now he knows where to mark her. He makes his way down her body with sloppy kisses until he hits the edge of her underwear, he slides them down her legs while leaving kisses on her inner thigh making Clarke moan softly. He moves his thumb over her clit a couple times make Clarke gasp from the unexpected touch, Bellamy smirks and then he goes down and starts sucking on her clit. She start to arch her back because of the pleasure she feels throughout her body,
Bellamy places two fingers in her making her gasp and moan, he is sucking and fingering her all in a rhythm making her legs shake, Clarke grabs Bellamy’s beautiful curls and tugs as the orgasm comes to the surface. She releases and Bellamy licks it every drop of her juices that she had released, she is breathing heavy but she still wants more of Bellamy. “Tell me what you want” Bellamy tells her, knowing that she wasn’t finished with him.
“You…I want you inside me, and not just your fingers” She said to him as she bit her bottom lip. Bellamy knew what he had to do so he takes off his underwear and lines himself up with her entrance and when he enters her she gasps because she didn’t realize how big he was until he was inside her. But she wasn’t complaining. He starts at a slow rhythm making Clarke arch her back and he knows she wants him to go faster but he is waiting for her to beg him to move faster. “Bellamy…please” she says.
“Tell me what you want, '' he says to her as he keeps his rhythm.
“Faster please” and with that he speeds up making Clarke go crazy. One thing Bellamy did expect that she would do was flip them so that she was riding him but he wasn’t complaining. She rides him until she and him both come to their peak, “cum inside me, it’s okay” she says to him as she holds him close. So with her words he does and then she lays down next to him and then he pulls her to him.
Clarke’s P.O.V
As the room now smells of sex I am now laying in Bellamy’s arms as happy as I could be, he is all I have ever dreamed of and more. “You know when you went missing I tried everything I could to find you” I say to him.
“I know you did, and I’m sorry you had to feel all of that” he says as he holds me as close as he could to his body.
“Did she ever tell you why…why she took you from me?”
“When her guards took me to her I had said ‘kidnapping me and holding me in a cell for 6 months to make the people I love think I’m dead and for what?’ and she said and I quote ‘so I can bring you back alive and she will take me back’ and I knew she was talking about you”
“She took you so she could try and get me back?”
“So I had told her ‘so this is about Clarke’ and she said ‘of course it’s about Clarke and when I take you back you will not tell them I took you and you will tell them that I found you and helped heal you’ and so I asked ‘what if I don’t’ and she said she would kill me then come here tell you guys that she found my dead body and get you back that way” Bellamy explains to me.
“I’m gonna kill her” I say to him.
“No no no Clarke”
“She took you and said she would kill you if you didn’t do what she said Bellamy, I can’t just let that go”
“I’m not saying you have to but if you kill her then you will start a war that we will not win”
“Then what do you want me to do?”
“Be here with me, stay here with me, and if she tries to come back and kill me then we’ll go to war” he says. He wipes away the tears that escaped my eyes and tries to pull me closer to him as much as he possibly could.
“I love you Bellamy”
“I love you too”

Umm hi so like 2 months ago ig I found the 100 and I just finished season 5. And I'm already the kind of person who just goes looking for spoilers so yah I kinda know the fucked up shit that's about to happen. Anyways I just wanna know what the hell happened and I know there's never a proper reason but like with supernatural or any other controversial shows at least there are some reasons uk the writer is sexist, racist etc some sort of explanation to the fucked up shit we just saw before our eyes, but everything with the 100 is so silent I'm mostly a Instagram person n tbh the 100 fandom on Instagram is kind of dead... I really don't understand the show was great frustrating n maybe even a few downer of a seasons but lyk wtf happened did the writers change also lyk at the end of season 5 I think it was written "end of book one" or something so was tht supposed to be the end n d networked forced them to do more season which maybe why they wrote the latter seasons so bad..... Godddd I just want an explanation 😂. It will be really helpful if u could answer literally anything honestly u don't have to respond either u could just totally ignore trust me I have no idea why this is bothering me either but yah..
Disclaimer: While I am a notorious multishipper, I do love Bellamy/Clarke above all others in this show, so that probably colors a lot of my interpretations of events. Additionally, because you did mention that you've looked up spoilers, I am not going to be avoiding them, so be warned.
I mean, most of what the fandom has puzzled together is from random comments or conjecture, none of the cast has outright said anything specifically about season 7 (that has been widely spread, to my knowledge anyway).
In my opinion, season 6 was really freaking great. A breath of fresh air after the grim middle seasons, in fact. Which I think made the absolute let down of season 7 even worse.
Most of 'what went wrong' is usually laid at the feet of Jason Rothenberg, the developer and head executive producer. Basically, the guy seems to be kind of a major dick.
Season 6 was meant to act as a sort of reset of the series (which was why S5 ended with the 'end of book 1' thing--and yes there was a big writer change up for seasons six and seven because of the heavy space/sci-fi aspect of it all), and in my opinion, it worked fairly well. (Yes, some areas of the plot seemed to be recycled from earlier storylines, but I didn't see it as a bad thing, more as a chance for the characters to grow from their previous actions.)
But, then a lot seemed to be happening off screen around the airing of S6 and the filming of S7 that soured things between him and some of the cast members and the fandom. (I am only bringing up what I remember as being relevant to the question of 'why season seven was the way that it was' not an entire laundry list of all behind the scenes drama someone else either has done or could do that.)
Since season 3 if not before, JR was hounded on social media by pretty much every faction of the fandom (but predominantly the Bellarke and Clexa fans) replying in bad faith to anything he tweeted with demands for what they want rather than engaging with his actual tweets. Like, tweeting 'we want Bellarke' or 'we want Clexa' to things that have nothing to even do with the show. This got worse and more vitriolic after Lexa's death and after Bellamy got with Echo.
He always seemed to have the attitude that the show was more high brow or some shit than the usual CW show (even though it's on the same damn network with a lot of the same audiences), and was above shipping and romance, and seemed to resent how often interviews, panels, and press would ask about the ships (canon and potentially future). He and others made statements at various points that might have been intended in a way that the fandom did not take it to be, causing a lot of friction.
Bob Morley (Bellamy) and Eliza Taylor (Clarke) got married in May of 2019 and announced it on social media the following month, during the airing of season 6. In fact, during one of the first episodes of the highly teased Clarke/Josephine body snatching storyline, likely stealing a lot of the fandom's attention away from the show.
Bob injured himself at some point during filming for one of the seasons, and at some point during the writing or filming of season 7, he asked for more time to recover. JR responded by basically writing out his character, and then writing in an ending for Bellamy that makes hardly any sense.
After Season 6, Jason decided he wanted to end the series with season 7 and 'give it a proper ending', while at the same time the series prequel was starting to be developed. Speculation on my part, but with the CW's go-ahead to work on the prequel and use an episode of S7 as a backdoor pilot, the announcement to end The 100 was probably more in service to transitioning over to the new show rather than ending The 100. The writing and characters of The 100 were consequently de-prioritized in favor of the writing for this 'new' character (Bill Cadogan) and his story.
Eliza was also supposed to direct Episode 7 of Season 7, but suffered a miscarriage around that time and couldn't direct. I do not know the exact timeline of events, but I think writing for the end of the season was still happening at that point, and in one of the last episodes of the season the show has Clarke basically mourning the loss of her dead daughter who was tortured into being catatonic. Again, don't know if that was already written at the point of her miscarriage, but like??? Seems like something that could have been avoided.
I'm sure there is a hell of a lot more that I just can't remember right now, so if anyone else wants to chime in, be my guest.

I wasn't sure! Ok here ya go. Mind you I wrote this a million years ago so forgive any fuck ups 😬

The Bellamy Situation
//////////
Lexa really never thought she'd seriously be considering such a thing.
She truly, never once, in her long and decidedly strange existence, thought she'd be considering the merits of dumping a flute of semi-flat champagne over the top of someone's head.
And yet, there she was. Staring sideways daggers two seats to her left, watching lumbering hands find yet another reason to rest on Clarke's forearm while they chatted about a former patient.
Lexa very seriously considered the professional repercussions for her wife if she actually did what she was envisioning.
It wasn't that she was jealous. The time for that emotion had long since passed on the coattails of wedding vows and years of domestic bliss sitting under her belt. So no, she honestly was not jealous. Certainly not with the feel of a calming hand laced with her own sitting familiar and warm in her lap.
But.
That fucking guy just would not take a hint.
Not through the beginning drinks portion of the evening when Lexa offered cordial smiles and enjoyed the feel of Clarke's arm around her waist. Not when they'd surveyed the room and took in the Christmas decor of the hospital's fundraising event with appreciative awe. She'd bit her tongue and went with the flow as he'd practically dragged his startled looking date in their wake when he rushed to sit next to them at their chosen dining table.
Lexa had focused on her dinner as he'd barely let anyone get a word in edgewise, his baritone voice grating away at the very last shred of her nerves.
But finally, what felt like a million hours and comments and not so sly touches later, Lexa had had just about enough.
Seeing the dejected and red cheeked look on his all-but-forgotten date's face-- Gina, Lexa valiantly remembered despite not having really been given a proper introduction-- something inside Lexa finally snapped.
"Hey," she ground out with an overly chipper smile, the volume of the word interrupting half the table's conversations. Seeing she had the attention of the only two people who mattered, Lexa dropped Clarke's hand and rose from her seat, gracefully flinging her napkin onto her plate. "Bellamy. How about you and I go dance?"
"We were kind of talking," he tried even as she resolutely stepped to his side and hooked a hand around his arm and tugged him up, her movements precise despite the frowns coming from their respective dates.
"Good thing you'll see her again then, right?" she saccharinely replied, running a soothing hand across Clarke's shoulders in a silent message to just go with it. "C'mon, I wanna dance and Clarke's feet are still tired from work."
Eyeing her warily, he finally conceded with a nod, taking a moment to glance back at his date almost as an afterthought. Seeing the woman's- Gina's- confused shrug of approval, Lexa flashed her a thankful smile and proceeded to yank him out onto an empty patch of dancefloor.
Placing a hand on his shoulder and taking the other in her own, Lexa raised an expectant brow before he started leading them to the quiet notes of a piano.
"This is awkward," Bellamy stated after a stilted moment, feet shuffling off-step as the fake smiles dropped between them when they'd settled into something akin to a rhythm.
"Oh I know," Lexa nodded, gripping the hand in hers with a little more force. "But this was the politest way I could think of to speak to you without ruining either of our date's evenings more than they already are."
"Oh give me a break."
"Shut up, Bellamy. Just this once. Because after six years, I'm gonna cut the shit with you. You're a lot of things, but stupid isn't necessarily one of them. At least not on this."
She felt a certain level of satisfaction at the snap of brown eyes narrowing down at her.
"I've been dealing with this since I first met Clarke, and frankly, Bell, I'm done. You flirt with my wife constantly."
A smug look of defiance pulled at the corner of his mouth. "... So what if I flirt? It's harmless."
"Except it's not. See, Clarke may want to keep the peace enough to ignore it. I've always believed she's a better person than most. I, however? I'm tired of it." Lexa made sure the steely edge of her words reflected the seriousness of her statement. "Knock it. The fuck. Off."
"I think you should calm down."
"This is me calm." The low scratch of her words punctuated her stepping further into his space as they half heartedly shuffled along with the all but forgotten music. "I've watched you flirt with Clarke for years, and for the most part, I've ignored it too. But right now? Tonight? You're embarrassing yourself. But even more than that, you're embarrassing your date. And Clarke. In front of her coworkers for Christ's sake... So understand when I say, if you do it again, I'll-"
"You'll what?" he interrupted with a scoff, a light sneer marring his features.
Lexa took a moment to carefully think her next words over, her mind rapidly shifting gears. "You know what?" she decided with a shrug. "Nothing. I won't do anything. Honestly, getting you to stop is Clarke's job, not mine. And above everything, I love and trust my wife."
"Well she hasn't stopped me yet."
"Because she feels sorry for you," Lexa spat in a rush. "How do you not see that? She feels sorry for your date!… She's wanted to be friends with you for years, but you make it so fucking hard--"
Taking a deep breath, Lexa struggled to control herself. None of this would be worth it if she ended up saying or doing something that would just made the situation worse.
Or worse pissed Clarke off.
"... Listen, Bellamy. I get it, okay? I do… Clarke's beautiful, and amazing. So it makes sense when other people want her." She watched him relax his guard slightly as her words came out far more calmly than before, each releasing a steadying sigh as she wet her lips and continued. "And believe it or not, I've been where you are. I know what it's like to be in love with her and not get anything back. But, dude?… You have got to give this up. She is married."
Bellamy's jaw tightened slightly, eyes wandering past her shoulder, presumably to look at the dates sat waiting for them.
"I want her to have you as a friend, alright? As much as I do not like you, I want as many people in Clarke's life who care about her as possible," she said with an encouraging nod before regaining the stiff posture that radiated all business. "But I also need to get it across to you that not only is she my wife, she is my family. My whole family. My world. And that means I will defend her from people making her uncomfortable. I will protect her from people embarrassing her in public. That includes you."
"I'm not- God, what the hell is your problem? You don't have to protect her from me-"
"I don't? Because from my point of view, what I see is someone who relentlessly flirts and hits on a married woman who has repeatedly made it clear she's not interested. Let me ask you, if someone were behaving towards Octavia the way you do towards Clarke, what would you assume about the guy? What would you expect Lincoln to feel or do about it?"
His jaw grounded as eyes darted down to his feet, a few moments of quiet passing before he tilted his head toward the ceiling.
"Shit."
"Yeah," she said at the resigned curse. "It's pretty fucked up, Bellamy."
"Look, I-... I'm sorry." The deep gravel of his voice sounded heavy as he rather unwillingly locked onto her gaze. "Clarke's just-"
"I know," she interrupted, brows raised as she shot him an exasperated smile despite herself. "Believe me. That's why I married her. And why I'm going to stay married to her. Do you understand what I'm saying to you?"
"Yeah, yeah," he swallowed, tipping his chin in a nod. "I'll… I'll knock it off."
"Good. Cause that shit before? Was embarrassing. For you and your date. At least Clarke knows I understand, but that woman probably doesn't. Nor should she have to…. Don't be 'that guy', Bellamy. Don't be the guy that you'd want to protect your sister from."
"Yeah, okay, I get it. Jesus."
"From here on out, I can and will continue to handle your ego and a lot of your bullshit. And, bonus, we don't even have to pretend to be friends. But you are going to respect me and my relationship. And more than anything? You're gonna respect Clarke."
"I will," he nodded, breathing in deeply before letting it out in a fortifying sigh. "I'll go apologize."
"No," she corrected immediately, stepping back and dropping his hand as respectfully as she could. "No, you won't. I think we're all done here for the night. I'm gonna go grab Clarke and we'll do our own thing, and you can go try and figure out how to make this up to your date… You can start trying to fix everything else with Clarke another day."
She was mildly surprised when Bellamy agreed so easily, shoulders slumping as he slid his hands into the pockets of his tux. "Yeah… I guess I deserve that."
"You do," she nodded, though not unkindly. "But I believe we can all learn from our mistakes, so..."
Bellamy rolled his eyes and nodded again.
"Alright then. You have a lovely evening."
"You too."
"Oh, and, Bell?" she added in a hushed tone, stopping just short as she started to leave, instead leaning in closely as she held his eyes in a steady gaze. "One last thing… I may not do anything to you directly, because I'll still trust Clarke to handle this going forward... But if I do catch you flirting with my wife again like you did tonight?... I promise you, I will figure out a way to have her fuck me on your desk. Deal?"
With a rough clap to his shoulder, Lexa gave him a toothy smile and spun on the spot, eyes dancing when they met expectant blues as she made her way back to their table.

Medieval AU? Clarke was promised to Bellamy before either were old enough to chose their partners. Lexa was trained as a guard for Lady Clarke. Needless to say they fall for each other
“My Lady, you must dress for dinner.”
Clarke sighed and rolled her eyes as she stood in the middle of her bedchambers surrounded by handmaidens and her advisor Titus.
“Titus, it has been so many years. Don’t you tire of all of this fuss for a meal?” Clarke asked, as the handmaids ascended upon her and began pulling, brushing, and trying their hardest to make the princess stand still long enough to get her in her dinner gown.
“It is tradition.” Titus replied simply, looking back at the door. “Do you not have a post?” Titus addressed some Clarke couldn’t see in the commotion around her.
“Sorry, sir.”
Clarke’s heart jumped to her throat at the sound of a familiar voice at the door of her bed chamber.
“I was just reassigned, as we move closer to the wedding. The King wanted extra detail on Lady Clarke.”
Titus sighed and moved just enough for Clarke to see a person with braided dark hair flowing down over black clothing with a longsword sheathed at their side.
“Lexa,” Clarke breathed, just as one of her handmaids tugged roughly on her corset making her wince in pain. She heard something pop under her chest and prayed it wasn’t an organ.
Clarke felt a warm heat creep up her neck and hoped no one had heard her slip. She looked around and saw Titus’ attention still on the young guard standing at the door.
Clarke looked back and the raven haired handmaiden in front of her locked eyes before she lowered her gaze. Clarke knew the young girl had heard her secret and it made her heart jump to her throat.
The maiden finished her work without looking directly at Clarke again. By the time she was dressed and ready for dinner the light in her bedchambers had faded and candles were being lit all around.
Titus turned back to Clarke and nodded approvingly.
“Finish quickly, the family and your Lord awaits.” Titus turned and walked past the young guard still standing by the door, not looking in Clarke’s direction.
Once Clarke was sure Titus had gone she looked over at the remaining handmaids helping her put the finishing touches on her outfit.
“I can finish this on my own. Please go down and let them know I will be down shortly.”
Both handmaids bowed deeply and the raven haired one who had overheard Clarke bowed her head low as she hurried from the room.
“Shall I leave as well?” The guard asked, looking out into the hall before walking into the bedchambers and closing the door behind her.
“I’d rather you stay,” Clarke smirked, moving closer and pulling her blonde hair up into a tight bun.
The two met in the middle of the room, both reaching out and running their hands up and down arms, cheeks, and waists.
“We’re playing a dangerous game.” Lexa muttered, her face moving closer to Clarke as they continued to trace each other's bodies with their hands and fingertips.
“Is this just a game to you?” Clarke asked, lifting her left hand and running her thumb along Lexa’s lower lip.
“No,” Lexa breathed, closing the space between them and kissing Clarke.
The moment they connected, Clarke felt her heart begin to race and her head spin. Everything inside Clarke was burning, a fire that had been raging for months as she kept her relationship with Lexa a secret.
She was meant to be wed to a Lord from a neighboring Kingdom in just two weeks. The marriage was meant to repair a very damaged relationship with the two nations, but Clarke felt like she was being forced to the gallows for the rest of her life.
Clarke drank in everything about Lexa - her touch, her warmth, the love that radiated out of every inch of her body.
Clarke’s fingers went down to start to work on the buttons at the front of Lexa’s black long-sleeved shirt.
Lexa’s hands moved to stop her.
“We can’t, they’re expecting you downstairs.”
Clarke wanted to protest, she didn’t care about the people waiting for her to eat with them. The same group that had sentenced her to a life of misery in an arranged marriage.
“She’s right.” A voice behind them both jump apart and Clarke looked over to see her mother standing in the doorway with her arms crossed.
Lexa cleared her throat and stood at attention.
“This will be the last time I catch the two of you together like this.” The Queen looked at her daughter directly. “If it had been anyone else, Lexa would be in a cell and we would be on the brink of war. You have no idea what is at stake.”
Clarke couldn’t help but stomp her foot in frustration. “I understand more than anyone. The fate of our kingdom has been forced onto my shoulders and now I cannot be with who I truly love.”
The Queen’s expression softened and she took a step closer to her daughter.
“For our people, we make the sacrifices we must.”
Clarke felt tears burning her eyes and she looked over at Lexa who was staring at the ground.
“Come, we cannot keep them waiting any longer.” Abby held out her arm to her daughter.
She finally looked at Lexa. “You wait here, we have gotten more threats to the princess and she will need someone to be with her through the night until the wedding.”
Lexa looked up and tried to conceal her shock.
Abby looked back at Clarke. “If that will make you feel safer, my darling.”
Clarke felt a tear slip down her cheek. All she could do was nod, her throat constricted with emotion.

The next morning Bellamy asked if you could come help them on the Mount Weather run. With nothing else to do around camp you join Bellamy, Raven, Gina and Octavia to Mount Weather.
“I knew we should’ve taken out horses,” You say hoping out of the back of a rover. You unload the truck and get ready to bring the supplies into Mount Weather.
“Hey, you guys, did I ever tell you how I save Sinclair’s ass on the Ark?” Raven asks.
“Please don’t,” Octavia says annoyed.
“You mean the time you went rogue on a spacewalk?” Gina asks.
“That depends on your definitionog ‘going rogue’,” Raven replies as you head into Mount Weather.
“Really?” You say.
“I just hopped on a robotic arm and aimed at the solar ray. The whole time I was out there, the control room thought I was just fixing a loose wire,” Raven says.
“That is, in fact, the definition of ‘going rogue’. You dangled yourself within inches of an electrified array that could have killed you,” Gina says.
“Only time i’ve heard Sinclair lose his cool on comms,” Raven says. Raven and Gina continue to talk as we approach the dinning area, where other Ark membners were hanging out.
“Welcom,” Pike says getting up from his chair. “ Come. Join us,” Pike says.
“Someone’s made themselves at home,” You say quietly.
“There must be thirty of them in here,” Octavia says.
“36, but the more the merrier,” Pike replies. Bellamy walks up to Pike and shakes his hand.
“36? Wow! The grounders are gonna think we moved in,” Octavia says a little annoyed.
“Well, there was no room at the inn,” Pike says.
“And this was your option?” You ask.
“Y/N,” Bellamy warns.
“I’m outta here,” Octavia says. She hands you her bag before heading out of the room. Pike snickers but you don’t like what he’s up to either. Raven goes off to do what Sinclair told her as you and Gina help unload some of the items you brought. After you finished you decided to see where Octavia went off to. As you made your way out of Mount Weather you notice as two guards are escorting a grounder.
“Echo?” Bellamy says after he and Octacia come dow from the top of the ladder.
“You know her?” You ask.
“Yeah, she’s Ice Nation. She was in the cage next to mine,” Bellamy explains.
“Bellamy,” She says.
“Let her go,” Bellamy demands to the guards.
“She threated the summit,” One of the guards says.
“I was trying to help,” Echo says.
“Shut up,” The guard says and pushes Echo to the ground.
“Leave her alone,” Octavia says.
“I said get you hands off her,” Bellamy says.
“What are you doing? She’s a grounder,” The guard says as you cut Echo loose.
“What are you talking about?” Bellamy asks.
“The summits a trap. The assassin is already there. At sundown, your people will die,” Echo explains. The three of you rush into Mount Weather to gather others and get more information. “I was with the queen’s army hrading towards Polis. The war Cheif talks too loud,” Echo explains to Pike, you, Octavia and Bellamy.
“You’re one of them. So why are you telling us this?” Pike questions.
“We abandoned Skaikru in the battle for the mountain. It was wrong,” Echao says.
“And won;t they miss you?” Pike asks.
“Maybe. That’s why we need to hurry,” Echo says.
“Pike, she saved my life. We can trust her. Listen up. Okay, if we want to get to Polis before the attack, we have to move,” Bellamy says.
“Attack? Do we have confirmation of that?” Sinclair asks as he, Raven and Gina make their way to us.
“We radioed, but no answer,” Bellamy says.
“They may already be dead for all we know. And if they are, we need to be ready to respond,” Pike says.
“Don’t make this about the missiles,” Sinclair says to Pike.
“This is about survival. We don’t have the numbers, but the missiles in this mountain even the playing field, and you know i’m right,” Pike says.
“Even if I did agree with you, we still don’t have the launch codes,” SInclair adds.
“No, but we have me,” Raven says.
“And you accuse engineers of arrogance?” Sinclair asks Raven.
“I’m growing as a person,” Raven replies before walking off.
“Let’s go,” Pike says to Echo before pulling her away.
You wait as Bellamy talks to Gina, “ Don’t do anything stupidly heroic,” She says.
“I’ll make sure he doesn’t,” You say.
“Garden variety heroic., Got it,” Bellamy says looking between you and Gina.
“Come on, we gotta go before its too late,” You say. You, Pike, Echo, Bellamy and Octavia hop into the rover and head to Polis.
“Where are the guards? Protocol would be to leave someone behind,” Bellamy says as you all hop out.
“They did,” You say coming to the front of the other vehicle finding two guards with their throats slit. You and Octavia quickly pull out your machete’s, ready to fight.
“This was your people,” Pike says to Echo.
“Screw you!” Echo says in trig.
“Hey, she warned us,” You say walking up to them.
“This proves she was telling the truth,” Octavia adds.
“We don’t have time for this. The attack is at sumdown,” Bellamy says.
“I’m not leaving my blade here,” Octavia says looking at the no weapons sign.
“Me neither,” You say.
“None of are. We go in through the tunnels. The entrance is this way,” Echo says and leads us to the underground entrance.
“How much further?” Bellamy asks Echo as you all walk through the tunnels.
“We’re almost there. The elevator shaft is just ahead,” Echo replies. You all stop as you head gears turning. Bellamy peaks his head around the corner.
“Two guards,” He whispers.
“They raise the lift. The elevator shaft is our only way in. We have to climb,” Echo explains.
“Pike peaks his head around the corner, “ I got left,” He says before making his way towards the guards and Bellamy follows. Bellamy goes to fight the other guard as he saw no other choice.
“What is wrong with you? You didn’t have to kill them,” Octavia says as you make your way to the wheel.
“Yeah, I did,” Bellamy replies. You shake you head in disbelief, not knowing what went through his head. Bellamy opens the door to the shaft, “How many floors?” He asks.
“All of them,” Echo responds. You all start to climb, hoping to make it in time to warn them. As soon as you make you way to the top, Bellamy and Pike grab the guards and enter the room.
“Bellamy?” Clarke asks.
“What is the meaning of this?” The man next to Lexa asks.
“The summits a trap. We need to get you out of here,” Bellamy says to Clarke. Who is dressed up for the summit.
“What the hell is going on?” Clarke asks Lexa.
“I don’t know,” Lexa responds.
“It’s the Ice Nation,” Bellamy says.
“These allegations are an outrage. The Ice Nation never stormed this summit with weapons, breaking our laws, that was the Skaikru,” A man says.
“We’re right about this. The two guards you left behind are dead already. We need to go now,” Pike reassures.
“How did you come by this information?” Lexa asks. You all look around but Echo was nowhere to be found.
“Where the hell is Echo?” You ask.
“What’s going on? Where the hell is she?” Bellamy asks as well.
‘Bellamy, maybe we were wrong about this,” Octavia says.
“I don’t understand,” Bellamy says.
“Stand down,” Kane says taking Bellamy’s gun.
“Bellamy. Bellamy, come in. The grounders attacked Mount Weather,” Raven says over the radio.
“What are you talking about?” Bellamy asks Raven.
“It’s gone, it’s gone. They’re all gone, Sinclair and I are the only ones left. I’m so sorry,” Raven sobs over the radio.
“You should’ve never moved your people back into Mount Weather. The Ice Nation did what Lexa was too weak to do,” The man says to the room.
“This is an act of war. Sentries, arrest the Ice Nation delegation! Including the prince,” Lexa demands as the two Ice Nation members are dragged away.
“I hope you two kept up your training. You’ll need it,” Indra says to you and Octavia.
“Clarke we need to leave now,” Bellamy says.
“We need an ambassador from the 13th clan to stay here in Polis,” Lexa says.
“It’s not safe here,” Bellamy says.
“Clarke will be safe here under my protection,” Lexa assures.
“I have to stay,” Clarke says to her mom.
“Clarke--” Abby replies not wanting to lose her daughter again.
“I have to make sure she keeps her word,” Clarke says.
“Commander, we must convene the war council immediately,” A man says to Lexa.
“I’ll be right there,” Clarke says. You hug Clarke before heading out with Abby and Kane.

Now we live
Pairing: John Murphy/OC
Warnings: None
Chapter: seven
Cora
I would never forget the taste of fear that lingered like venom in the back of my throat. I felt the tears pressing behind my eyelids like a lover's touch, coaxing me to let them fall and purge myself of the poisonous feeling that tortured me with regret.
I shouldn’t have left him.
Murphy would be fine. He would wake up looking into the rising sun. The boy that fell from the sky would leave and find his beloved and sweep her to safety.
But what if he doesn’t?
I pushed the thought of him not being okay to the back of my mind; I had bigger things to worry about now. After all, I had been shot, yes; I was alive but still in pain. When I lay down on the ground, pulsing in agony and bleeding out, they'd saved me. I heard a man speaking while I lay there, before everything went dark. When I awoke a female appeared over me, her voice was soothing and soft as she spoke. “I’m doctor Abby Griffin, I’m going to check if you need stitches.”
“No, don’t!” I protested. “I don’t want your people touching me. It’s just a graze I’ll be fine.”
The one called Abby respected my decision and stepped back. Taking in my surroundings I assumed my plan had worked, that I was inside the camp. I didn’t think they would have shot me.
—
I bit my lip as the doctor mumbled something to the man next to her; I assumed he worked with medicine as well. They couldn’t believe that I’d healed my own stab wound previously.
A man named Kane came to visit me, he said I was safe and welcomed along with the other grounders. I wanted to believe him, but I didn’t. The energy around the camp was toxic. It was full of hatred, and fear.
Another man named Pike came by the moment I was alone. “You've come alone.”
I answered him, “So?”
“Usually when grounders come to attack, they don’t come alone.” He gave me a strange look, waiting for a reaction. “You haven’t come to kill us. So why are you here?”
I sat upright. “I’m looking for my brother, or at least I was until somebody shot me in the stomach.”
An amused look appeared on his face. “I’m sorry about that, one of my men thought you were a threat.”
I scoffed at his weak apology. “That’s what you call men? I’d say they are nothing more than little boys.”
His face curled from a grin into a frown, I’d obviously hit a nerve. Pike paced back and forth until he abruptly stopped. “I have an offer for you, Cora. I need a grounder on the inside, I need to know what your commander is planning.”
“Are you fucking kidding me? And how do you know my name?”
“The doctor told me, and no, I’m not.” He pulled a wire out of his pocket. “You have a choice: Take the opportunity I’m about to offer, or deal with the consequences of choosing the wrong side.”
I gulped down. “What’s the offer?”
His wicked grin returned. “I've heard commander Lexa is still alive and is currently plotting against us. You tell me everything you know and I'll send a team to help find your brother.”
I froze. “How do I know you won’t betray me?”
“Do we have a deal?” He asked, ignoring my question.
“Fine.”
I agreed to help Pike for now. I’d never betray my own people, but I’d say whatever I needed to say, so I could find Octavia.
Murphy
I perched up with a groan. The throbbing pain in my head was making me feel dizzy, causing the room to spin as I sat up.
“Murphy, you’re awake.”
Clarke leaned down next to me. Her eyes were red and puffy, she had been crying. “How are you feeling?”
“Like I’ve had my skull cracked open. How exactly did I end up back here?”
‘May we meet again, John Murphy.’ My mind suddenly flicked back to my last memory before blacking out. Cora had hit me on the head with something and left me in the forest.
I noticed Clarke still hadn’t answered my question. Looking around the room I also noted the absence of her usual crew. “Clarke, what the hell is going on?”
“The two grounders that found you recognized and brought you back to Polis, they thought you had escaped.” I could see tears building again. “A lot has happened since you’ve left. I’m glad you’re okay Murphy.”
I gulped down. Whatever was going on wasn’t good. Clarke hated me, and for being glad I was here only meant one thing. “I’m the only one left, aren’t I?”
Clarke nodded. “Bellamy betrayed us. He told Pike about you and Cora going to Arkadia before leaving.”
Fucking Bellamy Blake. But did he betray them? I didn’t exactly trust either of them, but I knew Bellamy cared about his sister and would have tried to do what’s right. I studied Clarke’s face. She was holding back. She wouldn’t have been so upset because of what Bellamy had done. “What else?”
“Lexa is dead.”

*Based off episode 4x01 of the 100, Echoes*
Oh, and bold italics are in trig, I just can’t write it in Trig cause that’s hard...
Previously...
“Y/N, what’s wrong? You’re not acting like yourself. Especially not after saving the world.”
“We didn’t. Bellamy, I think- we’re not done yet.” You told him. Bellamy didn’t know what to say. He wanted just five seconds to not have to worry about the end of the world or losing someone. He just wanted to spend five seconds without worrying about losing you.
Without another thought, Bellamy pulled you into him, kissing your lips because just a few hours ago he felt stupid for not doing it before you went into to the city. He almost never got the chance to do it again. You weren’t expecting Bellamy’s kiss, but you didn’t pull away, melting into his embrace like it was the only thing that made sense. Maybe it was. You and him always stuck it out, things got messy, yet here you were. You pulled away, biting your lip and resting your forehead against his. “Bellamy. I lo-“
The sound of a sword going through Pike stopped you as your heads shot to the source, watching as Octavia removed her sword from Pike’s body and then man fell to the floor groaning until silence. Pike was dead, Octavia killed him, and you were proud.
---
Bellamy started after his sister, but you stopped him, pulling the tubes and wincing out in pain. Your hiss caught Clarke’s attention as she jumped over, her mom coming with and sat you down. Bellamy looked between you and sister, his eyes landing on the door. You reached up slowly, tugging his arm and attention to you.
“Let her go, Bell. She needs space.” He didn’t say anything, gulping as he watched Clarke and Abby clean up the last of the equipment. You stood up, pulling Clarke and Bellamy off to the side and away from prying eyes. “We need to talk.”
“About what?” Clarke asked, narrowing her eyes at you and Bellamy, who was slowly clueing himself in on the situation.
“ALIE.” He mumbled, making only making Clarke more confused.
She was about to ask what he meant before you spoke. “The world’s ending.” You sighed, running a hand through your hair and not looking up at either of them. “By 6 months, the nuclear power plants will have melted down and the radiation would destroy the earth. ALIE said 96% of the world, I think, would be uninhabitable. No more earth.”
Bellamy and Clarke’s faces looked exactly how you thought they would with this news. “ALIE told you this?” Clarke asked. You hesitated but nodded.
“I watched the world go up in flames.” Bellamy hadn’t said a word, his arms crossed in front of him as stared at you, listening to you catch them up on everything ALIE told you. “I just destroyed the only thing we know that could save us. That’s the beauty of it.”
“We’ll figure it out.” Bellamy assured you, hearing you blame yourself. “Destroying the City of Light was a good thing. We’ll figure something out. Together.” You picked your eyes up, looking into his and sending him a half-hearted grin.
You heard someone shout, telling of a way down as the three of you took one last glance at each other before reluctantly heading over.
Stopped yourself, you watched as Clarke walked away before you grabbed her arm, getting her to look at you. “What is it?” she asked, watching you stumble in your thoughts when your arm fell to your side.
You had to tell her. She deserved to know.
“Something happened while I was there.” You began, unsure of how to bring up her deceased love. Clarke furrowed her brow, starting to ramble on about Ontari’s blood and whatnot before you stopped her, putting both your hands on her shoulders. “Lexa saved me.”
Clarke’s mouth snapped shut, her eyes faltering from yours enough to let you know whatever you were to say would cause her pain. “Lexa? She was…?”
“I saw her.” You whispered, biting back the sob in your throat. “These men were attacking me. She saved me. Without her, I would’ve died.” She didn’t say anything, only nodding her head shortly. “I’m sorry.” Your voice cracked.
“For what?” Clarke tried to smile, tears in her eyes making it hard.
“You could’ve seen her again.” Clarke didn’t know what to say as she looked at you, shaking her head. “Clarke you could’ve seen her.”
“Stop.” She whispered, putting a hand on your elbow for comfort. “It’s alright. I’m glad you’re okay.” You closed your eyes as your head fell, the sting in your throat keeping you from saying more.
“Y/N, Clarke.” Bellamy shouted from across the room as you both picked your heads up and followed him down. Octavia beat you all down having climbed down on the side of the tower. She was kneeling over Indra as Bellamy, Clarke and you walked outside.
You gulped as you looked at the dead bodies, women and men everywhere coating the ground with blood.
“Help!” you heard someone yell as the three of you looked, seeing an older man hobble as his wife tried to hold him up, a deep cut in his leg impairing his ability to stay on his feet.
“I’ll handle it.” Clarke told you as you nodded pushing her gently towards the olden couple. She helped the man, seating him on the steps and tying a tourniquet around his leg. The groans and cries of other men and women drew your attention away.
Bellamy wasn’t watching Clarke, or you, instead his eyes were scanning around the city, looking for his sister before he found her. You looked between the siblings with a sigh. “Pike had it coming. Everyone knew that. He got what he deserved.” Bellamy kept his mouth shut, looking from Octavia to you. You couldn’t keep your eyes still, looking from one dead body to the next as Bellamy pulled you to focus on him. You appreciated the distraction, looking into the brown depths of his eyes. “So, what do we do now?”
“Well,” he breathed out, putting his hands on his hips and frowning. “We don’t know if ALIE was telling the truth-“
“She was.”
“But we don’t know that.” He stopped you, making you sigh. You knew he was right, but so were you. “We need to keep this to ourselves until we know what we’re dealing with and how to stop it.”
“Who knows how people will react.” You nodded, Bellamy’s ideals making sense. You ran a hand over your face, feeling the scar and blood back on your skin once again from after the City of Light, missing how your skin once felt whole again.
“Exactly.” Bellamy agreed before his eyes softened, catching your mood drop when your hand fell. “Besides, I could use a break from keeping you alive.” He joked, getting you to smile and nudge him with your shoulder. He went on, telling you that you didn’t survive this long to get killed by a little radiation.
You felt a smile tug on your lips as you met his eyes, Bellamy’s arm coming out to pull you into his side as you stared out amongst the dead. “Thanks for keeping me alive, Bell.” You whispered, resting your head against his shoulder.
“Yeah, well it’s not always easy.” You were about to laugh before a woman not far from you starting wailing. She was clutching onto a man who’s head hung low, obvious signs of death on him as you and Bellamy exchanged glances, meeting Clarke as you got to him.
Clarke went into doctor mood immediately, checking over the man as Bellamy furrowed his brows. “He didn’t fall.” He pointed out before glancing at you, your face fallen and emotionless. “Y/N?”
“He didn’t fall. He was chasing me when I was in the City of Light.” You cleared your throat, aware of the eyes on you. “Lexa killed him before he killed me.”
“You did this.” The wailing woman stood up, her eyes glaring at you as she stepped back. “Skaikiler.” Murmurs echoed around the City, Skaikiler, Wanheda, and Skaikru coming up quite a few times as Clarke and Bellamy looked at all of them, their worries increasing as you stood your ground, staring down the woman who started this all.
Well, Fuck.
The Ark was far more upbeat than Polis, music filling the air as Harper and Monty snuck glances from across the room to each other. They worked away, trying to get their equipment as Jasper strutted in in a cup in one hand and a pitcher in the other. Harper raised her cup to have him refill it and he did. Jaspers couldn’t help but look to the bloodied scar on Harper’s face, his stomach falling at the sight.
“Sorry about the um...” he couldn’t find the words as he pointed to her head, over her right eye where the mark sat.
Harper nodded, knowing what he was getting at. “Smashing my face into the wall or pistol-whipping me?” Her voice was laced with a small pain as Jasper rocked back on his heels, his eyes widening and lips pursing.
“Can I plead the chip?” Harper nodded, raising her cup to let Jasper know he was forgiven. He cheered back before taking a sip, moving forward fill Raven’s empty cup. Raven shot her hand up, covering the cup to prevent Jasper from filling it. “Raven, when you save the world, you’re supposed to celebrate. I think it’s a rule.”
“I’ll celebrate when I know our friends are okay.” She sat down on the stool, pulling the keyboard closer to her as an error message showed on the screens in front of her. “And when I get the mainframe back online.”
Jasper looked at the screens, seeing the code Raven was working on fill the screen. “Is it weird I wanna go back in?”
“It’s not weird Jasper.”
“It is weird that you can code without being a coder though, right? It’s like ALIE updated your brain.” Raven paused her coding, turning around to look up at the boy.
“You okay?”
“Are you? You’ve been through more than anyone.”
Raven sighed, clicking her tongue. “There’s nothing like a little pain to remind you you’re alive.” Jasper nodded as Raven stood up and headed over to the radio.
“I wish I had an upgrade.” He mumbled to himself. Raven kicked the other three out of the room, telling them she needed silence to fix the radio. They listened, leaving the mechanic to her work, unaware of the gun Jasper had just grabbed and tucked into his pants. As soon as the room was cleared, Raven fell into the chair next to her, no longer hiding the pain her leg is giving her. She slammed her hand down on the radio before picking up the microphone.
“Bellamy? Y/N? Clarke? Are you there? Arkadia to Polis, come in. Where are you?”
When Kane and Jaha came down from the tower, they were greeted with the same sight you were, only Jaha was filled with more guilt. “What have I done?” He whispered, watching grounders drag deceased members into piles scattered about.
Kane put a hand on his back, comforting his friends’ guilt. “What have we done?” he said, sharing the blame with him. Their presence caught Abby’s attention as she left the man she had just finished helping to them.
“I told you to stay upstairs with the rest of the wounded. Do you need another shot?” Jaha sensed her coldness, not replying as he moved past to help the hurt. Abby hid her sneer as she watched Jaha leave, moving to stand by Kane’s side. “Do Miller and Jackson have everything they need upstairs?”
Kane nodded, falling victim to the glares of several men around them. “They blame us for the chip. We’re not safe here anymore.”
“Wanheda!”
“Skaikiler!”
Kane and Abby’s head’s shot forth at the Grounder’s names for you and Clarke, both of their fears escalating as they watched the crowd separating and Clarke, Bellamy, and you walked through. Kane could see not only annoyance in your face but fear as your eyes met and he put a hand on your shoulder, silently checking with you. You appreciated it, hesitating before slowly pulling him in for a hug since when you were going to do it earlier you were cut off. Kane was shocked, but didn’t wait to return the action, tucking your head under his chin.
“We have to go. Rover’s in the north woods.” Clarke told Kane and Abby, who furrowed her brows.
“What about the wounded?”
Kane felt you shake your head as you let go of him. “We can’t help them. Not when they’re ready to kill Clarke and I if we even look their way.”
“The grounders don’t want our help.” Bellamy clarified, seeing your clenched jaw as you kept looking over your shoulder, meeting various eyes of pissed grounders. “We take our wounded back to Arkadia and treat there.” You and Clarke agreed, knowing it was the best option at the moment.
“Hello? Bellamy are you there?” Raven’s voice came from the radio in Bellamy’s pocket as he pulled it out, stepping of to the side to answer. Clarke was going to follow before Abby grabbed her, telling her they needed help with the wounded. You were about to help as well before seeing Bellamy glance back to you, nodding to join him.
“Raven? Are you okay?”
“Yeah. We’re all in one piece here.” A sigh of relief left both your mouths before Bellamy spoke up again.
“Raven we need you to look into something.”
“First tell me how my friends are.” She cut him off, making you grin at the girls tenacity. “Y/N?”
You took the radio from Bellamy’s hands, covering his with your own for a moment. “Alive only thanks to you. A raven sign? Brilliant.” You could hear the girl chuckle, knowing she’s patting herself on the back. “Hey Raven? Did ALIE ever mention why she made the City of Light?”
Raven thought for a second, trying to recall anything ALIE might’ve let slip but she shook her head, coming up empty. “No, I don’t think so. Why?”
You groaned, feeling Bellamy put a hand on your back. “Because I think we have a problem.” You were about to tell her everything you told Bellamy minutes ago before yelling caught your attention, yelling in Trig about Roan being alive, needing a healer. Your attention was snapped away, completely forgetting Roan was shot because you asked for a favor. “Shit.” You mumbled. You thrusted the radio into Bellamy’s hand, aware of the confused look he was giving you.
“What are you-“
“He was only here because I asked him too. A favor, remember?” Bellamy nodded, your words jumbled as you backed away, pointing at the radio. “Just catch Raven up, please?” He tried to stop you, but you were already gone. He shook his head, walking to a quiet place to tell Raven what you knew.
Clarke, Abby, and Kane were already there as you knelt on the other side of Clarke from Abby as Roan was turned over to see his exit woundless back.
“No exit wound. We need to get the bullet out quickly.”
You wanted to know how you could help but your words were cut off as a cold sword was pressed to your throat and you threw your hands up, rising to your feet slowly. “Step away from our king.” The woman currently holding your life in her hands said to your friends as you turned to look at her, a hint of familiarity crossing her features. Clarke, Kane, and Abby all bargained for your release, telling her you were part of the coalition and Abby can save Roan. Grounders were ordered by the woman to take Roan back
“I know you.” you groaned when she kicked you in the leg and your knees hit the ground. Your hair was tugged back enough to reveal your neck when the woman narrowed her eyes. “You were in a cage in Mount Weather. You saved me before.” You reminded her, thinking back on the time Clarke and you were almost caught, this Azgeda grounder being the only reason you weren’t found hiding next to the cages.
“Echo!”
And just like that, Bellamy was back to keep you alive. He looked pissed and you didn’t miss the way his fist were clenched as he came storming over, seeing Echo with a sword to your neck.
“Wait, Bellamy don’t!” You shouted at him, seeing his determination not drop. “Kane!” Kane didn’t need you to tell him before he grabbed onto Bellamy, keeping him from finishing his distance.
“Let her go echo. Let her go!” Bellamy fought against him, eyes going between you and Echo as you begged him to calm down. You could hear swords drawn behind you as Echo taunted Bellamy, pressing the sword closer to you, lining up almost exactly to the cut Emerson left on your neck not long ago when you were in the same position.
“Back off Bellamy.”
“Echo?” you spoke rather slowly, not wanting to evoke her to hurt you. “Echo. The King is my friend. Let them help him.”
Echo let her sword drop slightly, listening to you. “I saw you in the City of Light. I know you destroy it.” You gulped, hoping this wasn’t going to be a repeat of earlier. “Thank you for that.” To saw you were shocked would be an understatement. She dropped her sword completely, sheathing it and grabbing your arm to pull you of the ground. As soon as you were on your feet Echo’s hand was on your back, pushing you right into Bellamy’s arms. He caught you easily, wrapping one arm around you to keep you upright as he brushed your hair out of your face, letting him look into your E/C eyes when he cupped your cheek. “Look around you.” Echo called to her people, getting everyone’s attention including yours and Bellamy’s. Skaikru did this to us. Because of them, Ontari, your rightful commander is dead.” Echo glared at Clarke. “This imposter stole the Flame.”
Kane stepped forward. “No. Because of her, Y/N was able to save us. If Wanheda hadn’t stolen the Flame, we’d all be dead- Grounders and Skaikru.” She countered him, saying without Skaikru there’d be nothing to be saved from.
“Kane.” You mumbled, reaching forward to tug on the man’s arm, knowing he was fighting a loosing battle. He saw you tilt your head, knowing you were signaling for him to stop. He stepped back, turning his back to Echo as you looked at her. “Azgeda doesn’t have any authority here.”
“We do now.” She smirked at you, turning to address everyone once again. “In the name of Kind Roan, as rightful caretakers of the throne of the commanders, Polis is now under Azgeda rule.”
“The hell it is!” A woman shouted as she approached Echo. “Where is your war chief, girl?”
“Our war chief is dead, Ambassador.” Echo gave you a side glance before stepping towards the older woman. “As a member of the Queen’s guard, command of the army has fallen to me, until the King awakens.”
“If he awakens.” The woman corrected her, and you hid a small gasp of guilt. “Until a new Commander can ascend, Polis is to be ruled by ambassadors of the Coalition. If Azgeda wants it, they must take it by force.”
Everyone seemed to agree by the rules you knew were correct, but there was no way this was going to be that easy. Just as the thought crossed your mind, Echo sliced the woman’s throat and the woman fell to the ground. “Consider it taken.” Echo mumbled. She picked her head up. “No Skaikru leaves this city! For Azgeda!”
Bellamy’s hand tightened around your waist as Ice Nation cheered, both of you watching the men pump their weapons in the air. “Looks like saving the world will have to wait.” He whispered in your ear as you nodded, looking to Echo. The smirk on her face as she chanted to your people before looking at you concerned you. You pulled yourself to look away, settling on Bellamy. This wasn’t going to end well.
After everything Jaha did, he wanted to repay everyone. He helped carry dead bodies to piles, ignoring the frowns on everyone’s faces as they watched him. He groaned out in pain, his body full of aches from his injuries as he placed a deceased girl down. A woman’s cries not far from him reminded him his pain was only physical when he looked to see her clutching a man’s dead body.
His face sunk further as he approached her cautiously. “Let me help you.” His soft voice got her to look up, disgust written across her face. “Please?”
She spit in his face, her way of declining his offer.
“Good to see you’re making friends.” Murphy called out to him, having watched the whole debacle.
“Hello, John.” Jaha spoke to him as Murphy grunted, putting his hands on his hips. “Glad to see you made it down. I could use some help with the dead.”
“Go float yourself.” Murphy spat, his nose flaring at Jaha. “These dead are you too, Chancellor.” Jaha picked up another body, ignoring Murphy as he walked off in the direction of his girlfriend.
Emori was scavenging through packs and bodies, looking for anything she could find. “What are you doing?”
“Stocking up. What does it look like?” She smirked as Murphy squatted to her level.
“Stocking up for what?”
Emori sighed, not stopping her searches. “It’s not safe for my kind here. Freikdreina are forbidden.” She held up her hand as if Murphy needed a reminder of why she was different. “I have to leave this place, John.”
She moved onto the next body as Murphy scoffed. “So you’re just gonna bail on me again?”
“I didn’t bail on you.” Her voice was harsh as she dug her hand into the pocket of a woman. “I came back. I took the damn chip because Jaha said he would take me to you.”
Murphy bit his lip, suddenly realizing he was only fighting his girl earlier because she took the chip for him. “Hey,” he lowered himself, putting his hand on her arm to keep her from scavenging more. “Come to Arkadia with me.” Emori scoffed. “I’m serious Emori, okay? We can be together there. My people will protect you.”
“You sure about that? How many times have they cast you out?” Murphy paused. Emori had a point, he was always the cast out in the group, but so were you and you looked like you were doing fine.
“It’s different now. They owe me.” Emori still wasn’t convinced. He reached out to her, taking her deformed hand in his. “Please?”
He ran his thumb over the fabric covering her skin, Emori watching the action before considering her options. “Okay.”
“Okay?”
“Okay.” They both let smiles take over. “We can still pick up a few things first, right?” Murphy nodded as Emori reached into her bag, pulling out Murphy’s bomber jacket. Murphy took it without any hesitation and held it out in front of him, grinning before throwing it on.
To protect Skaikru, you all took shelter in the Temple, rounding up as many of your people as the guards could find. You were standing next to Bellamy, leaning on the wall with your eyes closed as you heard Bellamy shift next to you to see you.
“Hey.” He whispered, nudging you with his hand. You opened your eyes, raising a brow for him to continue. He cleared his throat, trying to get the words out. “What were you going to say? Before Octavia and Pike?” You stayed quiet, just staring at him as he tried again. “Was it uh, was it the same thing you were going to say back at the Ark, with Emerson?”
Yes.
“No. I told you, I don’t remember what I was going to say then.” You lied, watching Bellamy lick his lips and nod.
“And today?” Again, you stayed quiet. Why couldn’t you tell him? 6 months left before the world is kaput and you were scared to tell a boy you were in love with him? Bellamy wanted to push you, he wanted to know if you were in the same boat as him, but he didn’t. Instead he glanced down to your neck, seeing the scarred tissue from Emerson then Echo before a hint of silver caught through from your shirt. He furrowed his brows, reaching up slowly in case you stopped him before uncovering your necklace. “You kept it? I thought you didn’t want it?”
“I didn’t.” you admitted, covering Bellamy’s hand with your own and holding the jewelry. “But I realized I can’t hide from my past. And Besides, it means a lot to me that you went back for it. Thank you.” Bellamy smiled. As much as he loved having the necklace, he liked seeing it on you better than on his bedside table.
The last of your people were collected as you and Bellamy shared one last look, ready to figure out the plan. Kane shook hands with one the guards, telling him to lead their people home and you all would stay. He winced at the contact, pulling up his sleeves to show his newly bandaged wounds from being on the cross. Abby watched him hide his injuries before she pulled up his sleeves, looking at his arm with a frown.
“I’m fine. We focus on the next step.” He assured her, bringing up a hand to caress her cheek, unknown to you and Clarke both watch them. You were happy for Kane, he could use someone like Abby in his life. By the look on Clarke’s face, she was in the same boat with her mom.
The door opened to the temple as you all turned to look, seeing Indra and Octavia come barreling in. Bellamy left you to close the door as Octavia came to you first, both of you hugging. “I’m glad you did it.” You whispered in her ear pulling away, sending her a look to know you weren’t lying. She nodded, appreciating your support. Kane approached Indra, not knowing how to apologize for everything he’d done. Indra didn’t need him to speak before she hugged him as well.
“What’s the plan guys?” you asked everyone, breaking up the reunions.
“When you destroyed the City of Light, there were a thousand Azgeda warriors inside the city of Polis.” Indra explained as you sighed, chewing on your lip as you listened.
“So, what I’m hearing is I had amazing timing.” You joked despite knowing there was no other way this could’ve worked in your favor.
“The only way to remove them is by force.”
“Then let’s remove them.” Octavia shrugged as if it was the simplest thing ever. Abby wanted to shut the idea down, telling them you’ll start a war.
Indra nodded, thinking about the clans. “Rockline, Flokru, and Broadleaf will join Trikru without question, but we'll still be short.”
Abby once again tried to deter the idea, convinced leaving now would be the best option. “They know where we live. If we run, they’ll follow.” Kane reminded her before looking to Indra. “There are 8 other clans, can we get them to join us?”
Indra wavered. “I can do it, but I’ll need the flame.” Clarke refused to give it up, despite you and Bellamy telling her the clans follow the flame, but Azgeda wouldn’t.
“Then we fight. That’s the point.” Octavia was getting tired of Clarke’s refusal.
“There’s no time for a fight. We have to save Roan.”
“Save him? They won’t let us near them.”
Clarke’s head turned to you, everyone following and seeing your eyes locked on the floor. Abby furrowed her brows. “What don’t we know?”
“The reason ALIE created the City of Light.” You muttered, looking to Bellamy and Clarke for guidance. Clarke nodded, Bellamy’s hand ghosting the back of your own as you took a deep breath. “Nuclear reactors inside power plants that survived the bombs are melting down. Radiation levels are already rising and until we figure out a way to fix it, we’re all dead in 6 months.”
The temple fell silent, everyone processing your news. “ALIE told you this?” Kane asked as you nodded. “And you believe her?”
“Raven’s looking into it.” Bellamy spoke for you, having told Raven he news like you asked him earlier.
“Even it’s true, that’s six months away. There are a thousand Ice Nation warriors on the street who want to kill us today.” Indra’s words only made you feel worse.
“They won’t kill us.” Clarke broke you out of your thoughts as you all stood confused. “We’re gonna surrender.”
The plan was in play. Jaha left the tower with body in a nightblood soaked sheet, passing by Grounders as they dubbed the body Ontari. They let him pass, heading to their healer who was currently working on Roan. Attention was called as Jaha walked into the room.
Echo stood in front of him, raising a brow at Jaha’s offering of the body. “Ontari belongs with her people.” Echo agreed, telling a man to take her and put her with the other bodies. Jaha groaned as the weight was lifted off his shoulder, sending pain throughout his body.
“Show him how Ice Nation repays a favor to the bringer of the key.” Echo’s men listen, attacking Jaha with his injured shoulder before punching him and beating him repeatedly to bring him to the floor.
“Skaikru is surrendering!” An Azgeda warrior shouted as he ran into the room. The beating stopped as eyes spun to the man, everyone waiting for Echo’s orders.
She didn’t know what to do at first, not believing Skaikru’s surrender. “Guard the king, the rest on me.” She started out of the room, ordering someone to bring Jaha. The Ice Nation made their way outside, coming to see where you, Indra, Kane, and several guards stood. Echo’s guards released Jaha at her order, letting the man stumble forward in pain. Echo grabbed his shirt collar, pulling him to her. “Tell them I only talk to Bellamy.”
You couldn’t hear much from across the courtyard, but there was no doubt you heard her say Bellamy. You looked up with only your eyes, looking at Bellamy watch through his scope as she pushed Jaha forward to you all. You gulped, ignoring the fright in your brain or the way your brows were drawing together.
What does she want with Bellamy?
You shook your head, catching Indra glance at you as met her look. The plan was working, Octavia was inside.
Octavia, who was brought into the healing room in the sheet as Ontari, quietly cut herself free, the only other people in the room being Roan and the healer as she slid herself off the table. She peered over to the healer, remaining unseen as she turned to the guards at the door. She pulled out her knives, running to the door and sliding with a yell as she sliced the man’s legs, bringing them to their knees before stabbing them in the chest. The healer turned around at the sound, shocked at what he saw before Octavia stood up, sending the guards spear hurling with perfect aim into the man’s face.
Clarke and Abby waited outside as Octavia opened the door, nodding behind her. “Your king’s on the table.” Clarke passed by Octavia, ignoring the dead bodies while Abby stood in shock. “Well.” Octavia said, knocking Abby out of her trance. “Go save him.”
It was nightfall by the time Bellamy was set to go talk to Echo, and you stood next to him with Kane and Indra, the older pair advising Bellamy as you tapped your foot, your arms crossed and a from on your face.
“She’s Ice Nation. She can’t be trusted.” Indra said, shaking her head as Murphy walked up to your group, standing next to you.
“Never a dull moment, huh?” Murphy called out, you and Bellamy instantly looking as Indra chastised Bellamy for not paying attention.
“She’s part of the royal guard, spies.” Indra carried on as if Murphy wasn’t even there. “That’s why she’s not marked. Very dangerous, very loyal.”
Bellamy scoffed, his head turning away from the woman. “Yeah not to the people who saved her life.” He looked upset, betrayed obviously, but why did the way he act make you uncomfortable, shifting in your spot and leaning against the wall. Murphy was the only one who caught your discomfort, a smirk forming on his face as Kane and Indra started to bicker about guns and he paid more attention to the conversation when Indra claimed she never agreed to give them guns.
“That’s probably because you’re not an idiot.” He snarked.
“Okay, am I the only one who doesn’t like this plan?” you spoke up, throwing your hands in the air. Sure you had done dumb things in your time to protect your people, the last day being your top, but Bellamy doing it was different.
“It won’t get far.” Kane tried to assure you, but it did nothing. “We just need time for Abby to save the King.” He looked to Murphy. “If you want to help, then grab a gun.”
“Here.” Bellamy said as he removed the gun from his shoulder. “Take mine.”
“Woah, Bellamy.” You said, putting your hand on the weapon to stop the transfer. “You’re going to talk to her with no weapon. Are you crazy?”
Bellamy didn’t say anything as he put your hand down, passing the gun to Murphy. He gave you all one last look before turning around and heading to talk to Echo. You scoffed, letting your head drop.
“How does it feel to have Azgeda want your boyfriend?” Murphy teased you, a playful smirk on his face that you just couldn’t match at the moment.
“Not the time, Murphy. Besides, he’s not my boyfriend.” You grabbed your bow off your shoulder and followed after Indra and Kane, watching Bellamy walk into the grasps of the enemy.
Murphy followed too, his smirk long gone when he realized how dumb his plan of staying at Arkadia was. “Sorry Bellamy.” He whispered, glancing over his shoulder to make sure you weren’t watching as he snuck off, grabbing Emori to follow through on her plan to run away.
Bellamy gulped as he walked to the center of the courtyard, meeting Echo halfway. “Before you say anything, remember I saved Skaikiler’s life in Mount Weather the first time and I saved your life by taking you out of Mount Weather. I'm sorry I couldn't tell you to bring the girl. But I was following orders, Bellamy.”
Bellamy remained stoic as she spoke. “I wish it was that easy.”
Octavia watched her brother talk to Echo, shocked you’d allow him to go without you by his side. She groaned, telling Clarke and Abby to hurry up, but Abby insisted she needed more time as she dug around in Roan’s chest, looking for the bullet. Once the bullet was out, Clarke and Abby waited before noticing Roan’s breathing was too shallow.
You watched Echo talk to Bellamy, guns being offered much against Indra’s liking. And against your liking, the choice of war was thrown around. Echo gave Bellamy one last ultimatum: put your weapons down and they’ll let the children live, or everyone dies.
She turned to walk away, letting Bellamy decide but he grabbed her arm, stopping her from going. Within a second, Echo had Bellamy pinned to the ground, a knife pressed to his throat.
“Screw this!” you yelled out, running to Bellamy and Echo, dodging the hands of people grabbing you to stop. “Let him go!” you pulled back your bow, aiming an arrow at Echo’s head. You heard Kane yell your name and through your peripheral vision, hundreds of arrows were aimed, most at you, and some at Kane and Indra who went forward to stop you. “Let him go, Echo.” Echo knew how much Bellamy and you meant to each other from the way you and Bellamy both begged for the others release.
“Lexa isn’t here to save you this time, Skaikiler.”
You stared her down and refused to waver. “I don’t need Lexa to save me. I said let him go.”
“Y/N. Put it down.” Bellamy pled looking at the determined look in your eyes.
“Do as she says.” Kane tells your people and you ignored him, eyes locked onto Echo. “Y/N, put the weapon down.” The sound of guns behind you being put to the ground let you know every Azgeda weapon was on you.
“Y/N.” Bellamy whispered as you relaxed your bow and closed your eyes, groaning and putting your hands in the air. Some man came up and yanked the weapon out of your hand and threw it to Kane’s feet, forcing your hands behind your back.
Bellamy was forced to his feet, eyes locked on yours as you sneered at the man holding you. So, what if you messed up the plan, the plan didn’t involve Bellamy with a knife to his throat. You and Bellamy were separated from Kane and the others, lead to their med room and you hoped Roan was up, or else this wasn’t going to end well.
The doors opened, and Echo’s guards went in first, seeing Abby, Clarke, and Octavia trying to escape as they grabbed them. You and Bellamy barely made it a foot in the room before Echo’s sword was in front of both of your necks, picking your chins up. “They were trying to kill the King! Check them.” Echo ordered as the trio was forced to their knees.
“We were trying to save him.” Clarke tried to inform her. The sword was dropped from your necks as Echo went to Clarke.
“For my Queen!” She screamed as she lifted the sword into the air. Your eyes widened, realizing she was bout to kill Clarke.
“Wait!” A groaned yell stopped Echo’s actions, everyone’s eyes snapping to Roan as he tried to sit himself up. He coughed as Echo dropping her sword, head bowing to her King.
“Roan…” you whispered, relieved he wasn’t dead. You weren’t aware of Bellamy glancing at you.
“Roan, help us. Tell them we’re friends.” Clarke begged as the man stood up, receiving a yell from Abby, but he didn’t listen.
“Where’s Ontari?” He coughed out, holding a hand to the hole in his chest he just discovered.
“Dead, sire, killed by them.” Echo spoke, giving Roan the half truth. Roan looked at you all, his eyes moving between Echo, you and Clarke as the blonde shook her head.
“We couldn’t save her, but we did what we came here to do.” Roan refused to look at Clarke, trying to determine the best actions. “Now I need you to honor your promise and protect my people.”
“That was before your people shot me and killed my commander.”
“We just saved your damn life.” Echo paid no mind to Octavia’s comment as she approached Roan, speaking quietly.
“Roan, your people are hungry for you to lead them. Do so now as your mother would have. Kill Wanheda, Skaikiler too. Take their power. And rule over everything.” You felt your stomach drop as Clarke turned to look at you, fear in her eyes only making you more mad as Roan looked forwards, catching your eyes move off Clarke to him.
Monty and Harper giggled as Harper rolled off Monty, giddy smiles on both of their faces as they relaxed in the bed.
“That was something.” Harper grinned as Monty panted, licking his lips and nodding. They both laughed before Harper quieted, looking over to Monty. “Hey, look. Um, now that everybody’s coming back, I just... I don’t want you to think that I expect anything.”
“What if I do?” Monty cut her off, grabbing her hand on his chest.
Harper’s smile spread across her face. “Well yeah, that’d be good too.” Monty joined her smile before leaning over and kissing her again.
The door to their room opened once against during their post sex bliss as Raven let herself in. “Sorry.” Raven said, looking away as the couple sat up.
“Knocking really isn’t your thing, is it?” Monty jokes but Raven didn’t laugh, instead getting serious.
“Get dressed and meet me in engineering.” She was about to close the door before Harper called out, asking what was wrong. Raven paused. “We’re all gonna die.” She said, not sugarcoating it as Monty and Harper stared on in shock.
Jasper was having a hard time since being out of the City of Light. All he wants to do is go back inside, but he can’t. But he couldn’t live with his pain either.
He put a pair of earbuds in and turned on his music, listening to the verses as he placed a suicide note next to his goggles, Monty’s name scribbled messily on the envelope. He grabbed the piece of art Maya had once showed him in Mount Weather, leaning it up against the wall and with just a few steps he settled himself down on a tarp, his eyes red as he mumbled along to the song. The gun that once was laid on the table was taken into Jaspers hands.
“I’ve been awake from deliverance.” He mumbled to the song as he stared at the gun, the thing that could easily end his life sitting in his hands. His eyes closed, the gun moving under his chin slowly as he took a deep breath.
Monty knocked on the door to Jasper’s room, knocking Jasper out of his head as the boy’s eyes opened, trying to block out the sound. “Jasper?” Monty called out as Jasper broke, pulling the gun from his head and scrambling to get up.
“One second!” He said as he tucked the gun into the back of his pants, turning down the note he left and opening the door. Monty tried to walk in the room, but Jasper stopped him as the boy looked at him confused.
“What we’re you doing?”
“Uh, nothing. Sleeping.” Jasper tried to convince him as Monty nodded slowly, telling him Raven needed them in engineering. Jasper sighed, looking back at his tarp covered room before following his best friend.
In engineering, Raven sat in front of the screens, all the info she researched for Bellamy and you up as the four of them looked at it. “After the second Fukushima disaster, Panacea Power patented a failsafe system with multiple redundancies. By 2048, two dozen mega reactors were built to withstand any disaster, even a nuclear attack.”
“Well that’s good, right?” Harper asked, uncertain why they were going to die.
“There’s always a catch.” Jasper grumbled and Monty furrowed his brows at him.
“The plants were built to be self-sustaining for a hundred years.”
“So, the warrantee just ran out.” Raven nodded to Monty as he walked over next to her. “This is us?” He pointed to a gauge, the needle pointing to yellow as Raven let out a loud sigh.
“Yeah. It’s been yellow since we landed. Now yellow we can handle thanks to our bodies adapting in space, but now its rising instead of falling. When it hits red-“
“We’re dead.” Jasper finished for her, looking at all the screens with a small hopefulness. “Uh, how long?”
“At the current rate of increase, 6 months, but it’ll be bad way before that. There’s no stopping it.” The group fell silent, the only sound being Jasper’s breathy exhale as he turned around. His sigh turned into curt laughs as he smiled. The other three, very confused and concerned for their friend, observed him.
“Oh. Oh man.” Jasper reached to the back of his pants and pulled out the gun as Harper reached for the one sitting on her hip and Monty’s jaw fell open. Sighing in happiness as he placed it down on the table, Jasper looked at them all. “I’m going to go watch the sunrise.” He told them with a smile as he walked out of the room, not caring about the terrified expressions on his friends faces as they watched him leave.
Roan held a knife into the fire next to him, heating up the blade. Echo walked into the room, a small smile on her face. “Wanheda and her friends are locked up. The rest of Skaikru appear to have fled, but we’ll ride them down on your command.”
“Not yet.”
Echo narrowed her eyes at her King, watching him pull out the now orange blade. “Forgive me Sire, but we can’t afford for people to think you’re weak.”
Roan didn’t speak before pressing the knife against his bullet would, cauterizing the wound without so much of a grunt. “Call me weak again.”
“I meant no offense.” She tried to backtrack.
“Yeah you did.” Roan groaned as he tossed the knife onto the table, picking up his shirt instead. “Say your piece.”
Roan began getting dressed as Echo spoke. “You haven’t been home in more than three years.”
“You act as if that was my choice.”
“Of course, I wasn’t. You were a bargaining chip. It almost broke your mother to send you away.” Roan interrupted her speech with a scoff. “Killing Lexa in Soulou Gonplei was to be your triumphant return, but you lost. Our war chiefs don’t respect you.”
“Then I'll get new war chiefs.”
“The army is loyal to them, not you.” Roan questioned her loyalty, knowing Echo’s loyalty lies with her promise as a spy. “I'm loyal to my clan, to my king. Let me serve you. I can help you do what your mother never could, what Ontari never could.
“Rule everything?” Roan questioned, his head tilting in contemplation.
Echo nodded. “Yes. Trikru is weak and ready to fall, and Skaikru is more hated than ever. Give the order to take them both out, and our war chiefs will follow you. Show them Wanheda's head while you do it, and they will worship you.” She uncovered the wool package in her hand, holding out a crown made of bone with the Azgeda symbol on front. “Bring honor to your grandfather's crown.” Roan’s lips parted as he slowly picked up the crown, deciding what to do before giving his orders to his guards as they headed to where you all were locked up.
Your hands were locked in metal, keeping you standing in place between Kane and Bellamy. Roan was alive, but would he be on your side? Head against the wall, you kept our eyes closed as you thought about the last two days events. There had to some way to live, to stop the destruction of earth, but you couldn’t do that if you were locked in Grounder jail.
“Y/N?” Kane whispered to you as you turned your head, opening your left eye. He gave you a smile. “It’ll be okay.”
You let out a pithy laugh, biting your lip afterwards. “You say that now, but what about in 6 months when the world is gone? What about then?” His smile fell and he tried to reach out to you, but his bounds kept him from doing so. “What if I’ve killed us?” you whispered, loud enough for him to hear. “Was the City of Light that bad? I was there and you were there. Did I make a mistake?”
Kane heard your voice break as he shook his head. “You did the right thing. The City of Light needed to be destroyed.” He assured you as you took a deep breath, exhaling through your mouth and closed your eyes again.
“Thank you.” you whispered to Kane. You turned around seeing that Bellamy was looking at you, having heard your conversation with Kane. You were about to speak before the gates of the cell were opened, several guards coming inside. You thought they’d go to Clarke who scrambled to her feet, but instead they went to you. “What’s going on?” you asked them, pulling against them as they started to release your cuffs.
You listened to everyone shout for you and the guards, Clarke wanting to know where Roan was and Bellamy and Kane both shouting for them not to take you. The last thing you saw before a bag was thrown over your head was both of them pulling at their chains, trying to stop them from taking you.
To say you were terrified was an astute observation, but you were also pissed off. The bag was pulled from your head after you were led out of the cell, coming to stand in front of Roan.
“Skaikiler, as requested. Shall I summon the War Chiefs?” Echo asked as you furrowed your brows. They were going to start with you?
“No. Get out.” he ordered Echo and against her desires she led the guards out of the room.
You watched Echo leave the room, before looking towards Roan again, waiting an explanation. “Why me? Why not Clarke? Isn’t she the one your people want dead?” You jumped right in, not expecting Roan to begin.
“They want you dead, too.”
You nodded, your lips falling into a thin line. “So, why aren’t I?”
“Because you’re the only Skaikru I trust.”
You let out a real laugh as you threw your head back in amusement. “Your people don’t seem to like me.”
“I thought we were friends.” He had a cocky smile on his face as you put a hand to your heart, pretending to squeal.
“Aw, we gonna get matching friendship bracelets? Gonna get a club name?”
“You finished?” he asked amusedly.
You just carried on, moving past him as he turned around with a fond smile. “We could call ourselves ‘The Banished’.” You faked suggested, turning around and crossing your arms, seeing him raise a brow at you. “What do you think? A little out there?”
“Is there more?”
You dropped the act, done playing games. “We need your help Roan. The only way that can happen is if you start trusting that Skaikru knows what’s best for the clans.” He was taken back by your change of emotion, despite knowing you were humoring him.
“And what is best for the clans, Skaikiler?”
“You know we’ve been over this, you can call me Y/N, right? That is my name.” He rolled his eyes, coming to stand closer to you as you stood with the same bored expression.
“What’s best for the clans, Y/N?”
“Something’s coming, Roan. The fire that ended the world? Lexa called it Praimfaya. It’ll be like that, a wave radiation that will kill everything in its path.” Roan wasn’t listening, telling you his ancestors survived and his people will too. “You won’t. Not without us.” Shouting from outside made you turn around, Roan and you sharing a look before moving to the window. You bit your lip. “I don’t know if we can stop it, but in 6 months if we don’t we’re dead. Science is out only hope, and hope that Skaikru is the only clan that can provide. Honor Lexa’s coalition. Recognize Skaikru as the 13th clan and we’ll go home and figure out how to survive. How we all survive.”
The shouting got louder as Roan looked out amongst Polis, hearing people cheer for your deaths. “Listen. I let you live, you’ll be dead in 6 days, forget 6 months. Sorry. No can do.”
You knew Roan had a price, there was one thing he wanted, something Clarke was the only person who could provide. “I’ll give you the Flame.”
Roan turned to look at you, mistrust written across his face. “We were told it was lost.”
“You were told correctly. I just happen to know who took it.”
“Wanheda.” He whispered as you quirked your eyebrow, letting him know he was correct. “Tell me why I shouldn’t just take from her and cut your heads off anyways?”
You chuckled, looking out amongst the crowd. “Because I still owe you a favor. Can’t repay you if I’m dead.” Roan seemed to agree with you, considering your proposal. “The clans will follow you. That's what you want, right?”
“I want what's best for my people, same as you.”
“Then it sounds like we have a deal. You control who ascends. With the Flame, there will never be a commander to rule over Azgeda unless you allow it.
“And Wanheda would give it up?”
You paused, hoping Clarke would agree. “Leave it to me. I can handle Clarke.” Roan nodded, calling echo and his guards back in. Echo shot you a glare as she entered, receiving orders from her King to retrieve Clarke. As soon as she returned with Clarke, Clarke’s nerves were put to rest when she saw you alive.
“Thank god.” She sighed before hugging you. You hugged her back, shooting Roan a plead for a moment alone and he nodded, leaving you both alone in the room.
Clarke was confused as Roan left, looking to you for an explanation. “He’s agreed to help.” You told her, seeing her face brighten before she got suspicious. “There was a price.” You reached into her pocket, pulling out the Flame and holding it out to her. “We have to give him the Flame.”
“Y/N-“
“I know.” You stopped her, seeing her eyes start to water. “I know it’s Lexa, believe I know. But we don’t have a choice here. Roan’s promised to honor the coalition, to give us time to find a solution. We just have to give him the Flame.”
“Do you trust him?” She asked you.
You didn’t hesitate, but you thought about it. “I do.”
She wiped her eyes. “Okay. Then I trust you.”
You were shocked it was that easy, but you hadn’t known Clarke already said goodbye to Lexa down in the cell. “I’m really sorry, Clarke.” She nodded and put a smile on her face.
Roan came back inside, seeing the Flame in your hand as you held it tight before holding it out to him. He graciously took it, holding it up to see it in the light. “I honored my side. Time to do the same.”
Roan held an assembly, speaking to your people and his own as you listened, surrounded by your friends. “I know you've all come here for an execution, but no one else will die here today. The City of Light has fallen and there is no commander left to rule us. Until another nightblood ascends, I, King Roan of Azgeda, eldest son of Nia, Grandson of Theo- am Caretaker of the throne and keeper of the Flame.” He held up the flame, letting everyone get a good look at it as you felt Clarke stiffen momentarily next to you as shouts of disapproval roared from the crowd.
“You’re a King, not a priest!”
“This is blasphemy!”
Indra slowly turned around, the voice of the last protester familiar as she searched the crowd.
“Not Blasphemy. Order!” Roan went on. “Until another ascends, Azgeda will honor and defends the coalition of the last true commander, Lexa Kom Trikru, including the 13th clan. Let it be known that an attack against Skaikru is an attack against us all.” Roan looked out amongst the crowd, meeting your eyes.
“Thank you.” you mouthed to him as he nodded.
Roan told you were to meet after the announcement and for 15 minutes that’s where you all stood waiting as Echo finally showed up.
Bellamy walked up to her, glancing back at you to follow but you didn’t, allowing Bellamy to talk to Echo alone. “From your king.” She said, holding out a wrapped package. She opened it up, the Ice Nation seal sitting in her hand. “With this, you’ll be safe in any of lands.” He took the crest but Echo didn’t let him pull it away. “You think we’ll ever be able to trust each other again?”
“I doubt it.”
She nodded, letting him take it. She looked at all of you, a frown on her face. “Welcome back to the coalition.”
Bellamy turned around, seeing you stare after Echo as she walked away. “Time to go.
“We’ll do our best to keep the king on his throne.” Kane told Bellamy, Clarke, and you as you nodded.
“If you all screw this up, we’re dead. No pressure.” Octavia joked but Bellamy ended her fun, reminding her this was serious and if anyone found out why Roan helped every clan would come after you all.
Knowing it was getting dark out and you all had to get moving, you started your goodbyes.
You hugged Octavia first as Kane and Bellamy shook hands and Kane gave Bellamy advice. “You turn the page and you don’t look back. You do better today than you did yesterday. You understand? Before you it, you’ll deserve to survive.”
“I hope so.” Bellamy nodded, stepping aside to let Kane say goodbye to you. You hugged Kane before pulling away, seeing him give you a lopsided smile as you, Bellamy, and Clarke turned away, heading back to Arkadia.
“The youth inherited the Earth.” Kane mumbled to Abby, both of them watching their respective “kids” head off.
“And now they have 6 months to save it.” Abby added as you disappeared from their lines of sight.
As for Praimfaya, its already making its way across the globe. A couple, man and woman crossing the desert in Europe, found it out the hard way. Their bodies were covered in burns, as they tried to find sanctuary. The man collapsed, his partner falling with him as she panted, trying to get him to respond to her but he wouldn’t answer. She let out a sob, barely able to make a sound from her dried throat. At an odd sound, she pulled herself up, trudging atop a sand dune to look upon pyramids.
But along with the structures a wave of radiation came upon her. She let out a scream as the radiation took her over, her skin burning off as she fell to her knees and her body was swept away.
6 months, starting now.

These past few weeks -- this past presidency really -- have been wildly eye opening for me. As a liberal white person, I’ve spent the better part of the last few years learning and unlearning, checking myself, checking my peers, etc. But these last few weeks it has been even more so. Unsure of what to do with my voice in the din of twitter, and preferring to elevate voices of people of color around me, I wound up taking to facebook, spending the better part of the last months sharing political posts that I had died off on posting after Trmp’s election, confronting relatives and family friends that i had, a few years ago, decided i’d need to just come to terms with. Through all of it, I have seen a lot of grace. I’ve seen a lot of learning. And I’ve scene a lot of stubborn refusal to learn. And I’ve been those people. I’ve been learning but I’ve also refused to. I’m hoping to change that now.
A few months ago, a girl on twitter approached me. She was angry. She confronted me flat out about how I felt that it was okay for me to preach equality and social issues as someone who had been so bad at confronting and apologizing for my own missteps in the past. As someone who had hurt people without consequence. She was right. I told her that. She told me that my previous apologies had been shitty and selfish. And she was right. I promised her I’d write a new one.
And then I never did.
When our world erupted into protests and marches and major social movement this last month, I became immediately embarrassed. The words I had promised had never made it out. I prioritized a million other things in my life instead of the people I had hurt. I regret that. So so so much. I regret not immediately writing an apology that I truly meant when it was pointed out to me how much I had let it all fall off my radar. I regret only thanking that one girl on twitter for her time and education and not the many, many other voices who had been trying to reach me over the years. I should have done that right away. I should have done that even before, without it having to be brought to my attention. I thought that because I had learned and knew better, because I personally knew where I had gone wrong and wouldn’t do it again, that it was over. But the truth is, that was a lesson I hadn’t been ready to learn either. That the people we’ve hurt don’t go away, that shitty apologies don’t make up for pain, that having selfish things to do with our time doesn’t excuse not prioritizing growth and reflection and acknowledgement. So for starters, I am sorry for that. I am sorry that it took me four years to say anywhere on the internet that i KNEW that apology I wrote was shitty. I’m sorry it took me four years to acknowledge to anyone how wrong it was that I was constantly requiring them to push me toward change. I am so sorry it has still taken me a months since that twitter exchange this year, and a full month since I realize I’d STILL forgotten about it to be here. And writing this. I’ve been selfish. I’ve shoved all of your important words and experiences and thoughts and lessons to a place where I could look at them when it was convenient for me. And that was fucking selfish. And ignorant.
To now skip all of that intro and go into more detail, this whole story begins in my fandom days. When I loved and adored The 100 and was a very active member of that fandom. The reveal of Clarke’s bisexuality, the introduction of their Lesbian character, Lexa were important to me. In making that clear, I said in a tweet that another character, Bellamy (portrayed by Filipino actor Bob Morley) was less important and received preferential treatment by the fans due to his ability to be seen as a “hot white guy.” In short, I entirely erased Bob’s lived experience as a non-white man, I erased the visibility that Bellamy created for men like him, and when it was pointed out to me, I doubled down. I defended my stance, I fumbled to explain myself over and over. I thought that because my intent was not to harm that it excused me from the impact of what I had said. And it didn’t. What I said was wrong. It was erasure, it was ignorant and came from my own unchecked racism. I know that now. I didn’t then. I was embarrassed and upset that people thought the worst of me. When what I should have been was humble and willing to listen. And THAT is what is truly embarrassing.
Then came the apology, several years later. I had spent time arguing about a cause that effected me personally and suddenly, was moved to more properly address what I had done. But again, my apology was about me. It came on my time, a day late and a dollar short. It wasn’t an apology at all. It was an explanation, a plea for understanding, laden with white fragility that I hadn’t yet examined. It was an apology that had learned how to fix what went wrong but hadn’t actually learned what was wrong about what I’d said and done. It stepped over the voices of the people who had been fighting to teach me. It re-centered myself, my experience, my emotions. And again, it was selfish.
To be explicitly clear: the way I behaved toward the people who corrected me and tried to educate me in both of those instances was shameful. My inability to listen something I am actively working on as much as I can. I am so so sorry to those people especially, to Bob whether he knew about this incident or not, and to the entire fandom community at large for setting such a shitty example.
This apology isn’t only about that moment, though. I’ve been doing a lot of reflecting lately, and I wanted to make sure to talk about other stuff too. Other stuff that no one has been publicly calling me out for, but that is still bad. Whether it’s pointed out to me or not. Because I think growth is important and I think it’s important to humble ourselves to know when we were wrong, to look back on our actions once we have learned better and pull out the bad parts, show people, teach others. In my years in fandom, I made a thousand missteps. I was quick to get upset, when someone said a show or character I loved was racist or had done something racist. I was the person always shouting that not everything is racist. I was a fucking ignorant. I dug my heels in simply to defend things, without taking time to listen, without understanding the history of pain that people of color face when it comes to stories and representation. I thought I was smarter than I was.
I didn’t listen when I was told that you can’t dreamcast a next gen character of a mixed race couple with just one of those races. I didn’t listen when white washing was explained to me. I was too stubbornly wrapped up in the things I wanted and my own perceived kindness and correctness to think that I could get something wrong, that I could need to put in a modicum of effort to change my ways. “There just aren’t that many mixed actors,” I’d say. But because I couldn’t name any off the top of my head didn’t mean they didn’t exist. And frankly, the fact that I couldn’t name any was shameful too. I know now, how important racial representation is. Again, I am sorry for not listening. I am sorry for whitewashing and for thinking that simply dubbing myself a good person and good ally didn’t make it so. I was too proud to learn. I’m working on dismantling that fragility too.
I work in television now. I work in television because I want nothing more than to tell stories about everyone. This year I got my first script. And that same girl who called me on twitter a few months ago told me she didn’t want to support the show I worked on because she didn’t trust a project that I worked on. That fucking devastated me. I wanted to proudly wave the expectational diverse show I loved over my head and say “but look what we did!!” And when that instinct hit me, this time, for the first time, I checked myself. Because what I did didn’t matter without fixing what I had done. Without earning that trust back, without making it abundantly clear where my head and my heart are now. Something that felt “so long ago” to me was fresh and painful for other people. Being able to shove it away was a privilege I had and didn’t see. I had sat in the writers’ room on that show and advocated for our representation and felt proud of the stories we told. But none of that matters if I haven’t checked myself, and fixed the hurt that I’ve caused, personally first.
I am truly sorry. I’m sorry for the mistakes I inevitably forgot about making that did not make this post. I’m sorry for the ignorance that made them less important to me than they are still to the people of color who witnessed them and the things I perpetuated. I’m sorry for not understanding that I can contribute to the problem, that I can BE the problem. I’m sorry for talking over you, for not listening to you, for letting you be the villain in my head and my heart and out here on my public profile for so long. I’m ashamed of my past, but I don’t want to keep letting time go without talking about. I want to bring my selfishness and my ignorance into the light and talk about it. I don’t want to cause anyone hurt for any longer than I need to, and I’m so sorry for never giving anyone closure on any of this before, even when I thought I had gotten it for myself. Thank you for reading this. Thank you for trying so hard to explain shit to me that I just didn’t hear. I know I’m inclined to wordy bullshit. I want you all to know that I’m listening. I’m late. But I’m listening. And again, I am sorry for having hurt you in the first place. I was wrong. I will likely be wrong again. But I promise you that I will do everything in my power to never, ever be as unwilling as I have been to learn. I am educating myself all the time now, in hopes that you won’t ever have to educate me again. But should that day come, I promise to meet you with the grace, humility, and open mind that I should have a long time ago.

*SPOILERS BELOW*
Still haven’t watched it, but I’ve been reading back through the tags (a lot of yikes, shipwar and hate there btw) and got a sense of what happened. All I want to say is, as I put on my clown makeup, the story isn’t over. And this is just my two cents on what either outcome stands for.
If Bellamy is really dead
Then this is probably one of the worst ways JRoth could have let go of the half-Asian POC male lead who is a clear fan favourite (see also: Lincoln). It was a death that didn’t do the character justice - he didn’t get to die a hero, wrap up his story arcs or gain closure with his loved ones (Octavia, Echo, Spracekru, etc). Worst of all, was murdered by his best friend who is also his platonic and/or romantic soul mate.
The death also didn’t do the show’s HERO any justice as Clarke basically just overrode her “you’re my family too” comment. Oh and by not having the two leads at the very least acknowledge or denounce their feelings (for closure), is kind of a form of mockery towards the majority of viewers who did see the romantic undertones of Bellamy and Clarke and have been following the show for 7 years.
If Bellamy is not dead
Again, lazy writing. If we look at the formula of other (arguably more successful) shows, unless you are the Winchester brothers in Supernatural, the fake death stunt only really works once. Example: Glenn in the Walking Dead, Jon Snow in GOT. Bellamy already had a fake death early this season, having another one this late doesn’t make any sense or add anything to the plot. Because how are they going to reconcile the animosity that will undoubtedly blow up once they find out what Clarke did, WHILE having to wrap up Cadogan and Sanctum?
If Bellamy isn’t dead, then at this point JRoth and the crew are just blatantly toying with viewers with the VERY prompt statement on all social channels that spoiled a lot of people.
So what does this all mean?
That no matter what Bellamy’s fate is, it’s evident that the showrunner valued possibly traumatic shock factor, or the ~ subversion of cliche ~, over showcasing a succinct storyline, following character development and fan-service*** (see: Lexa)
There is speculation that all of this is because of Bob Morley’s request for time-off, but let’s face it, even if this is true, it’s quite obvious that Bob’s limited time on screen were squandered.
There is also speculation that all this happened because of bad terms between Bob and JRoth. Again, if it’s true then it really just shows pure unprofessionalism to lazily kill a character off out of spite (see again: Lincoln).
*** Fan service doesn’t necessarily mean giving the fans what they want. It’s more like respecting the characters that they love, and giving them a death that they deserve. A story doesn’t have to be full of shock and be subversive to be a good one, it doesn’t even have to have a happy ending - it just have to make viewers feel like they didn’t waste their time.

Ok, you all know how much I dislike Abigael (or better how much I hate the way writers decided to write her) and that I don’t want her near Mel! *
But WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK the writers were thinking? My connection was bad on Friday, and I also tend to zone out when A. is on screen these days, so I didn’t catch it live.
Abigael was forced (through a spell) to admit she has feelings for Mel. They did that. They went there.
Now, I’m not gonna talk about how much I hate these kinds of violations of people’s agency (I don’t like it when A. does it to others, I don’t like it when it’s done to her).
My issue is that they did all this an ep after Mel and Ruby said they love each other (which makes their relationship serious), and after leaking that Poppy will probably leave the show by ep 17 (we’re on ep 14 now). It means nothing will happen between A. and Mel.** It means that once again a cw show show gave its bi character virtually no happy ending. Now, I don’t watch many cw shows but it happened on The 100 with Clarke (who apparently is the worst human being ever existing), *** they did it with Dean on spn and now with Abigael. Bi character can’t have love in their life. HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT? I mean these three shows manage to be homophobic, biphobic and queer phobic in general even though one of the main characters is queer. I’m baffled. What problem do people who work on this network have with bi people? Do they think they don’t deserve love because they couldn’t pick a side? What? Because I don’t understand.
And I’m actually sorry for you abimel fans, because I’ve been there. I know what it’s like to be played with, and used for business and in the end, being called a delusional for thinking (logically) that something good will happen. In Charmed case, they can’t erase Ruby, which means, that in end either A. will die, or she will leave, and her love will be unrequited or, if they will acknowledge it again (I’m not even sure they will do that, to be honest) it would be likely a ‘we had bad timing’ kind of things (like what they did with Kat). And that’s FUCKED UP! Because the writers know what they’re doing. They don’t live in a bubble. They know how this will plan out in the end and they decided to do it anyway because THEY DON’T CARE. They don’t care about women, they don’t care about black people, they don’t care about queer people. THEY JUST DON’T CARE!
AND I’M FUCKING TIRED.
*I’m not a fan of redemption arcs in general especially if they involved a ship because they usually include a character (most of the time a woman) being sacrificed at the altar of another character and I’m so not here for that.
** I mean there are only three eps left and we know that Melonie being pregnant affected her screen time. Mel is, also, in love with someone else and unless they retcon what happened with Ruby (I mean they could, they retcon anything they want on this show), or they kill off Ruby (which would be like wrong on so many levels) it’s impossible for them to actually happen.
*** I was never a fan of Lexa or Clexa (still, what they did to the character was terrible), but I loved Clarke. I’ve always thought she would die in the end, and then, she didn’t. With the (atrocious) way the show ended they could have given her at least a (still fucked up) happy ending. But jroth decided to kill Lexa once again (after hinting that there was a way for her to be back) the same ep he killed off Bellamy, which destroy any chance for romantic love for Clarke (he even killed her daughter the next ep basically). And then, he used Lexa fans by baiting them for the final ep.

The 100: Nobody Won
As much as JR has tried to beat it into our heads that the show wasn’t about ships, the inescapable fact is that it always was. He may have not wanted that to be the audience focus, but the show as always--from the pilot to the finale--about the relationships between these characters.
And I feel like for whatever reason JR took Season 7 (and the finale in particular) as one final nail in the coffin that is his neverending war against ‘the shippers’. Because if you think about it, no relationships were truly validated in this season. Yes, there were moments (Levitt/Octavia, Jackson/Miller, & Murphy/Emori) of ship fodder, but nearly every other relationship on this show devolved.
As for endgame? What a joke.
-Bellarke? Clarke shot Bellamy to get a sketchbook she ended up leaving behind in order to protect Madi who gave herself up at the end of the the next episode. Then, Bellamy was too dead to transcend. -Clexa? An alien judge came in at the last moment and wore Lexa’s face before nope-ing the fuck back out to leave Clarke on Earth to live her life and then die. The flame was shot and destroyed one final time, making it impossible for Lexa and the other commanders to transcend. -Becho? Bellamy was shot while Echo was on another planet. Echo, who spent the first half of the season on an avenge-Bellamy murder trip immediately forgives Clarke for killing him. -Clarke/Niylah? and/or Clarke/Gaia? Neither had much contact with each other for the majority of the last two seasons, nor any formal ending note. -Levtavia & Memori? They made it to the end together, but in choosing not to transcend, they were made (magically???) unable to have children, so their story ends with them. (And somehow Emori--whose MIND was put into Murphy’s because her body was DEAD--was able to be brought back to her body???) -Mackson? They made it to the end together, but there is no further human species alive to remember their story.
Any character ever on this show? Humanity has ended (either in transcendence or at the end of Clarke & co.’s lives). The story of humanity is over. No one will remember any of what they did, any of what they went through, to get to the end of this story.
Setting aside all of the plot nonsense (What happened to Eligius III? Who even are these transcendent-aliens? What happens when you transcend? Why are we introducing an entire new species in the last fucking episode? Why is transcendence good, but the City of Light was bad?) we could have watched the Season 1 trailer and then the Series Finale and been just as well off. Just as confused, and the show would be just as pointless.
If by some miracle the Prequel gets picked up, go into it knowing that no matter how the prequel may end, the end result of that story is the end result of this story.
Humanity is dead.
And don’t expect JR to be any more into pleasing shippers that time around. Or working around an actor’s schedule. (Because any time an actor needed time off for another project, or just because--or even because of personal disputes, those characters always seemed to have gruesome deaths.)

Do you mind if I ask how you envisioned the Romeo and Juliet au ending? I believe you had one happy and one more traditional ending in mind? I only just found your gem of an au and I'm more in love with it than Lexa is with Clarke (I will fight her on this)
😂😂 well thank you, I'm really glad you liked it! Someone recently commented on it and it got me back in my R+J feels after so long.
And yeah there were actually 3 different ways I ssw it going. The good, the bad, and the ugly, really.
The good way would be things truly go to Lexa's plan. They're patient for a time as both work from the inside to help lessen their families biases toward the other. A few years of peace pass without incident, and that's the best Clarke thought they could hope for. Eventually tho, Lexa, being the lovable spoiled brat and apple of her father's eye that she is, talks Gustus Montague into throwing a holiday party open to everyone. Despite the distinct displeasure of his brother, Anya's father, Titus (Lexa does receive a thumping from Anya the following afternoon 👀) It's all in the spirit of good tidings, of course. To truly show the world that the Montague name stands on civility and virtue and whatever else Lexa thinks up on the spot as she very casually berates her father after breakfast. And he finally relents with his usual sigh and accepts the peck to his cheek before his extraordinarily taxing daughter flits from the room. He and young Aden are quite used to giving the lady of the house what she wants.
That holiday marks a change in the families dynamics. Begrudging, white-knuckled truces slowly turning into benign acquaintances, which effectually leads to a familiar sort of affection between the houses. It soon becomes common knowledge in the realm that holidays, celebrations, any marked affair would be shared between the two households, banquet halls and grand balls bathed in ribbons of red and blue.
And when Gustus takes ill and must be relieved as head of house, Lexa takes up the helm. And it seems only sensible that family's strongest ally and confidant should help. So in good faith, Jake allows his daughter, who has woefully not found herself a husband either, to go and reside with the poor matriarch of the Montague house and help her in anyway she can 😌. It's a very hands on job.
However, that's a rather idealistic ending, don't you think? Lovely, but unlikely, tho considering in my mind Lexa can and would move heaven and earth for Clarke, it's the one I'd call this au's canon. That being said, the bad:
Jake insists Clarke marry, and there will be no way out of it. So it comes down to one thing, family or love. Clarke is ferociously loyal to her family, and yet she knows she will die without her wife. Even the thought of being forced to play married to someone else, to be forced to cheat on Lexa even if against her will... she can't stomach it.
They fight and scream through tears and clinging to each other, Lexa practically hyperventilating when Clarke comes to her with the seemingly hopeless news. Which is all for naught as neither can survive without the other. So simply, they run. Only tell Anya of their plans because neither are sure if Octavia can truly be trusted. They gather what valuables that have been gifted to them through the years along with the large sum of Lexa's allowance that she has been squirreling away since their wedding (once meant to buy them an ornate marriage bed when Clarke could truly be hers) and leave.
They settle in a port city, relying on the bustle of strangers coming and going to keep them cloaked. They live meagerly, but happily, making ends meet where they can. They hear stories of their families, mostly through bloody tales of how their disappearance had triggered the warring between them to intensify, each blaming the other when the secret of their nuptials is inevitably found out (good choice not to trust Octavia). They die poor, but in love, and in each other's arms. And neither would've traded it for all riches of their youth.
Still somewhat a happy ending, because I have a very hard time writing them in pain, and soulmates deserve their peace within each other. In this life or the next.
Now.
The Shakespearean ending. Angst readers this is for you, everyone else turn away lol. TW/// Reference to suicide and blood
It's Bellamy that is their undoing.
Because of course it is.
But truly, it's because they're young and in love and reckless in their happiness. It only takes a moment, a slip where Lexa tugs Clarke away to a dark corner where she thinks they won't be seen, and he watches with fury as his mortal enemy kisses the breath from Clarke's lungs. His friend, the family who took him and his sister in, consorting with the enemy. Her quiet moans turn his stomach as he watches Clarke pull her closer.
In a rage he waits for Lexa to sneak back out of the party she was never even supposed to be at, and follows her, eventually cornering her near the Montague estate. They fight, though Lexa pleads with him that she is not his enemy, that her love for Capulet is greater than her love for her own, but it doesn't matter. He hears none of it.
Anya hears the commotion, tries to come to her aid only to meet the wrong end of his sword. Enraged, Lexa kills him right on the steps of the Montague home, his blood mixing with Anya's and causing her to retch. The sweet, lingering taste of Clarke's lips turns to ash and bile in her mouth.
Lincoln helps her flee to a neighboring village, far enough to be in hiding but not so far he can't still communicate with her. Tho in this, there is no mistaken death. It's a simple fact, Lexa knows she will imprisoned and executed for her crime. Murder cannot beget murder, and she knows she will die. Clarke begs her to run but what's the point? She will be hunted. The wealthy daughter of a powerful family committing murder? They would search the globe for her, and she wouldn't allow Clarke to live like that. Seeing no way out, and no way to be together in this life, and tho Lexa pleads for her to go... well, I'll leave it at that.
But again, in my mind, option A is what I go with 🙃
