Clockwork moved Danny and de aged Dan and Ellie to Gotham, pulling a favor from Lady Gotham to make sure no one (ie the fentons and the GIW) would find them. He erased them from all media records, and Tucker created decent fake records, enrolling the kids into daycare and Danny into a job at Arkham as a guard who quickly became loved by most of the staff(and inmates). (Danny was one of the few people who treated the inmates like human beings, never being scared of them, joking with them, genuinely being interested in them.) (they were 100% willing to kill for their new guard)

Unfortunately, the batfamily noticed the new security guard who had amazingly forged records(if anyone else had looked at them, they wouldn’t know they were forged.) Which lead to Batman paying them a visit.

Half an hour after Batman went to visit, Batman was viciously researching a group called the GIW, and Danny showed up at the door of Ivy’s garden with his kids in toe, begging for sanctuary.

something that’s discouraging me even more now is the fact that some mutuals don’t interact full stop when i talk about my disappointments in dnp, even the ones that interact regularly. it can feel so lonely and i keep wondering if i am not ‘ruining the fun’, so to speak, so im glad you & other blogs keep talking about it, thanks

oh absolutely! I have western friends who turn a blind eye on this. If you’re reading this, you know I’m talking about you. And I’m not saying if you’re white, you’re bad ,or anything like that. Definitely not! You are capable of being a good person, despite loadss of people in your community ending up proven otherwise from time and time again. It is absolutely not your place to talk about racism, but ignoring it won’t help anyone.

I have so many friends who still support me and speak up about it, despite being in a different marginalized group. And you can be that person too. Educate yourself, study other cultures so you know where they’re coming from. It is so easy, there’s so many resources you can find by the tip of your finger. Spread words, point out racism when it happens so that they can be changed. We’re not aiming to cancel anyone about this. We know it can be hard to understand what’s it like to be us. We only want to point out behaviors that are problematic so that it can be changed. But if you do not own up your mistakes, if you don’t stand by the people of color, you’ll end up the same as them. And that, in my opinion, is a very horrible way to exist.

I will spill the tea on this because there is at least one cryptic throw away line in the fic that implies who it is!

pretty sure everyone has gathered that Lando has slept with Dan and Carlos, and the third person is in fact Max. Not really plot relevant because with Max it was definitely just like friends blowing off steam. And with Dan and Carlos it was well… I’m not sure how much people have put together with that history so I won’t say too much

Dan raising Ellie and Danny in Central City

Due to the GIW interfering and almost killing everyone, Danielle was destabilized and Danny was almost completely ended.

Dan, who had been doing community service with Clockwork, was now saddled with his younger self who was now a baby, and his younger self’s clone, who was now a toddler, both of whom had very little memories of before.

Due to Vlad and the GIW, being dicks, it wasn’t safe for Danny or Ellie to remain in Amity while the fighting was going on. So, clockwork decided that Dan, for the rest of his parole, was going to raise both halfas in the immortal world, since staying in the infinite realms was not good for them.

Thankfully, clockwork and Tucker created a fake identity. He was now Dante times, a single father of a girl named Eleanor and a boy named Danny. Clock work even lined up a job for him as a mechanic at a shop in Central city.

He even had a slightly odd friendship with a guy named Roy, a single dad who lived in Central City due to some problems with his father, and had an adorable little girl named Lian.(Ellie and Lian were best friends from the moment they met, and both girls doted on baby Danny.)

Wally hadn’t expected much when he found out Roy was living in Central city. It was a well-known fact that he had been feuding with Green Arrow for a while, and the Flash Family had agreed to let Roy hide out here. What he wasn’t expecting to see was the guy who Bart had warned them all about, the guy that had taken out all the heroes, including Batman, in his nightmare future, talking to Roy over coffee while a girl who looked exactly like him play dolls with Lian. He especially wasn’t expecting to see the man Bart described as a sadistic monster soothe a crying baby boy who looked almost exactly like him.

Wally got the feeling they would have to have a Flash Family meeting soon, and started debating on bringing Roy.
