Happy Friday everyone! What are you doing for small business today?? Me? I'm eating at Z-cafe on baseline just west of Alma School. Just another great small business operating catty corner from my house. I'd recommend the chipotle breakfast burrito. The owner Dan apologized for getting me addicted to this place and I understand why. Great place for coffee and morning meetings in #FiestaDistrict area Baseline Corporate corridor. #iheartmesa #mesaRising #connectingmesa #reinventingmesa #WinkleForMesa (at Z-Cafe)

Remember to vote Ryan Winkle for Mesa! Sign the envelope and send it in. No stamp required. #WinkleForMesa I am Ryan D Winkle. I am running for City Council. We are city of small business owners and hard working residents. We are a city of people who want to stand on our own two feet and pursue opportunity and the American Dream in our own community. That’s who I am and that’s who I want to represent at city hall. We need to help ALL of our residents and business owners be successful. -We need a responsive building and zoning department that is timely and makes the process of growing easy. -We need open and transparent process that protects the taxpayers against favoritism and giveaways. -We need to empower city staff to be creative and try new things to get stuff done. -We need a commitment to our neighborhoods and our residents that will help them enhance and preserve the value of their homes. -We need a great public school system that everyone can feel good sending their kids to. -We need to make sure we have safe streets. That’s what small businesses and neighborhoods need. That is what people in our neighborhoods, the owners and employees of our small businesses tell me they want. I am Ryan Winkle. I am running for City Council. I would love your vote in August. WinkleForMesa.com If you care about Mesa's future like I do, volunteer or contribute. I am honored to be endorsed by the Arizona Police Association. Our men and women in Blue put their lives on the line for us every day to make our streets, schools and homes safe. We need to make sure they are given the resources and training they need to do their jobs safely so they can return home at night to their families and loved ones. Funding the police department should be top priority for the city. If you care about Mesa like I do, contribute or volunteer: www.WinkleForMesa.com Text "WINKLE" to 33971 to stay connected #WinkleForMesa #ReinventingMesa #connectingmesa #EconomicDevelopment #arizonapoliceassociation #police #mesaaz #nextmesa (at Mesa, Arizona)

Last weekend I was very honored to share my thoughts and hopes for the Fil-Am community as the keynote speaker at the 118th Philippine Independence Day Celebration 2016. Thank you to the PIDC committee, Dr. James Campbell, Marie Cunning and Leo Aromin for allowing me to join the ranks of many great speakers who have graced the event and shared remarks regarding the many Filipino families who laid down their lives for the sovereign Philippines of the present, more then a hundred years ago. Many of the sons and daughters of those families now live in the United States and share the same value of liberty and freedom that we all share as Americans. Thank you to the Fil-Am community for your love and support. I love you, mahal kita & Maraming salamat po! If you care about a vibrant and inclusive community like I do, volunteer or contribute to my campaign for city council.
