Because of a depressive episode I've had for the past <6 months, I didn't write my bachelor project because I simply couldn't. Every day was just me staying alive. I've barely done anything but stay alive, trying to feed myself while having no energy or desire to do so. Less than a month ago, however, my brother contacted me and helped me write my supervisor, and now I've written the contract and am working on it in the 5th block (I have my semesters divided in half called blocks). The deadline is 11th of August. And it's going really well so far. My supervisor is the sweetest person and has helped me a lot with all the bureaucracy stuff and such! Only now do I realise how bad I've been feeling for these past months, and how I don't need to feel that way. Everything will work out.

I got Theathrythm Final Bar Line because it's currently on sale and I loved the two Theathrythm games on 3DS.

So naturally I throw mysef into the online mode, find an opponent and get my ass kicked. We played a few matches, I lost every single one, was fun though.

Now here's the thing. There's only pre-made sentences you can select for your party leading character to say in the lobby in order to communicate with other players. My opponent kept asking me to "keep them company" and that it was "nice to meet you". Absolutely agreed! But at some point I had to leave the online mode. And I didn't want it to look like I'm rage quitting because I kept losing, I had fun!

My party leader is a chocobo.

I sincerely hope my selection of "Kweeh... Kweh!! Kweeh...... Kweeeh kwee kweeh!!!" conveyed "I had fun but I gotta go bye."

ok but like….matt and ryan STILL don’t have a contract setting any terms between them. 7 years later!!! after all the shit that went down with Jackson, they finally set some up with their employees, but it never even occurred to them to set something up between themselves in case anything goes down. because they trust and love each other that much and they’re so dumb, they’re SO STUPID and BAD at business, but it’s still so ridiculously CHARMING that they care about and rely on each other and never could imagine one of them fucking over the other. like 7 years later, 8 years of friendship, and so much has gone wrong and so many terrible things have happened - things that were their fault and things that weren’t - and their friendship only seems like it’s growing stronger every day. like how??? how did they end up so lucky to find each other in all the chaos of what went down 8 years ago. when they were 2 hours apart their whole lives and even had mutual friends but still never knew each other until they were on the other side of the country and they just clicked and that was it. ugh i have so many criticisms of them and they still annoy me to death half the time i tune in but they love each other and that’s what i’m here for and i’ll bounce around from fandom to fandom and tune out and back in but i really do think as long as they are still the most important people in each others lives and they make content that lets us into that world even a little then it’s like yeah ok i guess i’m stuck here!! but anyways they really should sign a contract, these absolute idiots.

You know what I kinda wanna expand on that thought from my previous post about waiting.

Specifically how while I do fully agree with all posts I've seen that talk about being patient, Rping is a hobby and all that others stuff. 100%, support and agree everyone is more then allowed to take whatever time they need to respond.

Rp or otherwise I bet nearly every can understand how things like motivation can wax and wane, and even if you are interested in multiple things sometimes one thing grabs you more then others. Time not allowing you to do everything you want so you gotta sometimes pick and choose.

Basically a more extensive way of being told 'Be Patient'

I completely understand all of it and just about everyone else I've met and know in rpc are pretty well understanding and accepting of it all too.

However there is a flip side that personally I don't think I've seen addressed enough, and even I've kinda touched on it but also tip toed a bit never quite sure how to properly express the feelings without giving the wrong impression or coming off rude.

Which is how hard it can feel being the one stuck waiting, and that honestly as long as you aren't a dick and don't start harassing people/your partners about it, demanding replies that kinda thing, it's okay to feel frustrated or upset.

Because honestly over all the years I've rp'd on here(and off), I get it. Even now I still find myself feeling a little down, even frustrated during a long wait, because let's be real especially if its for something you're excited for waiting can really suck.

True it's also exciting, the anticipation of what's to come but come on no matter how excited you are I'm sure a lot of people would still get bored waiting their turn in a long line for a ride at an amusement park ride.

Or the long wait for a package you ordered to arrived, sure they have the perk of an expected arrival date but its still not set in stone some times it can arrive sooner or later then expected. But who hasn't had moments where they'd wish their package could just arrive immediately despite knowing full while why it's taking the time that it is to arrive.

In someways I'd argue that's kinda similar to at least for me how it can feel. I know what I signed up for and I can promise I'm never mad at nor blame any of my partners for the wait no matter how long, even I've had moments of being the one to (unintentionally) make my partner wait and am always super grateful for their patience.

And just like I know I can't speed up a packages arrival, nor would I dare act like some asshole because a line up is moving slowly, I'd never demand or expect my partner to be faster or other wise act like I'm some how owed a quick response. (Hell no)

However I do believe that there's nothing wrong with acknowledging the struggles that can come along with being on the receiving/waiting end of things. Even if the wait is worth it- which honestly if you're with the right person/people it always will be no matter how long,

If anything at least for me I'd say some if not all the frustration of waiting comes from well the excitement of wanting to continue wanting to keep going but well until that response hits you can't.

Don't know if this is a hot take or not but I think you can be both patient, respectful about waiting for rp replies and understand all the reasons for why but also you don't have to like it and it's okay to acknowledge and admit,

Waiting Sucks.

But feeling frustrated or upset wishing that you didn't have to wait to continue that thread(s) or whatever you're feeling because of it doesn't automatically make you a bad person. It doesn't mean someone doesn't care about their partner(s) and their feelings.

Just don't be a dick about it.

Again this is something I've frequently thought about talking about/ express my thoughts and feelings on but I also really didn't want to wind up giving the wrong impression and come off sounding like some selfish, entitled asshole.

As I hope I've made clear it isn't a bad thing to take whatever time you need and any reasonable rp partner(s) will understand this.

But just as nobody owes anyone a reply and are allowed to respond at whatever speed fits you, and is completely valid to want to be respected for that, the reverse is also true no one owes you their time and yet I know there are a lot of people (me included) who are willing to give the time and wait for our partners but that doesn't always make it easy and just I think that's just as valid a feeling.

If you can respect the time people take to write up a response so to should the time those waited be respected you know.

Not enjoying waiting doesn't make you a bad person / RP partner- being a dick about it does.

ohhh, this is hard! I have too many favourites!

UT Sans:

when he first finds you he's horrified.

he was suspocious at first when Alphys kept putting off your arrival home. Eventually he decided to go looking. Finding you and the rest of the amalgrams horrified him. He despretly tries to figure out a way to fix you and the other amalgrams

He spends months locking himself away in his own lab trying to help you. He pushes everyone away, even you, as he works himself to death for a cure.

It's only when Papyrus drags him upstairs and lectures him for pushing him and yourself away.

Once Sans gets it through his head that this isn't the route to go, he takes breaks and spends more time with you. Helping you get used to your new body.

he and Alphys decide to keep you and the other amalgrams in her lab, as it has the best equipment, and if something goes wrong they have access to some of the most advanced tech in all of the Underground immediantly.

While he and Alphys trie to figure out a cure, you remain in Alphys lab, though you are allowed to leave whenever you want

He treats you as he normally would. Making the same dumb puns and pranks that would make you laugh.

Sometimes he treats you more delicatly then he needs to.

UT Papyrus:

Like Sans, he grows worried about your sudden disapreance from the Underground. He frequently calls you and messages you, asking you how you are, where you are and if your okay.

Soon after he tracks you down in the hidden lab. Unlike Sans, who sorta just sneaks in without Alphys knowing until he's already seen everything.

Papyrus just bursts in, greeting Alphys like an old friend while looking for you. He's friendly, but serious in his mission to look for you. This is where you were last seen after all.

When he finds you, his soul is crushed. The pain your in, the fear you must feel. It hurts him so bad.

He envolps you in a tight hug, not letting go. Even when he hears and sees the other Amalgrams and Alphys.

He immediantly tells Undyne everything, who then tells Asgore everything.

Asgore informs the other amalgrams families and orders Alphys to immediantly start looking for a cure. All other projects put on hold, or handed off to other scientists.

He takes you back to his home. Papyrus is optimistic that you'll eventually get better.

He drags you out for patrols and puzzles and for training. Anything that can get you out of your head, and push the memorys of recent happenings away. Even if its only for a little while.

Regardless of whether a cure is found or not, I believe that Papyrus would still take care of you. He wouldn't mind, he loves you after all.

UF Sans (red):

Initially he dismisses your lack of communiction with him.

You'd gotten into an arguement and you'd stormed off. Just needed a few days to cool down, that's all.

Though when you don't turn back up after a few days, no calls, no messages. He gets worried.

Red teleports into your home. He tears the place a part looking for you. When he doesn't find you and instead finds an e-mail from Alphys offering a job as a lab assistent.

Reds not stupid, he knows Alphys and her fucked up games. He immediantly teleports to the lab, ripping the place a part looking for you. Red ignores Alphys furious screeches and questions.

When he finds you he lashes out. Throwing as many attacks at Alphys as he can, he doesn't give up until Undyne and Edge have arrived.

He drags you back to your home. Trying to patch you up as best as he can, holding your melting body with bandages and monster candy.

Like UT Sans, he throws himself into his work, trying to find a way to cure you. This time though, he doesn't work with Alphys.

He feels terrible. Red feels as though he could have prevented this whole thing from happening if he just wasn't so lazy. Red works to combat his lazyness, in order to prevent something like this from ever happening again.

He keeps you in his home. Hiding you from the rest of the Underground.

If people knew what you were, well, too many people would get the wrong idea. So he keeps you in his home.

He tries to keep you as happy as possible for the meanwhile.

UF Papyrus (Edge):

Edge immediantly notices something is amiss when you don't respond to one of his many Undernet messages.

He embarks on a patrol for you as soon as possible, finding all the clues to your whereabouts, one after the other.

Edge is one of the quickest skeletons to find you after you've turned into a amalgram. Only a few hours afterwords.

Unlike Red he does not attack Alphys and instead pins her to the wall. Demanding an explanation. Once she explains that she was ordered to find a way to make Monsters stronger, he releases her.

He takes you back to his home immdiantly. He places you in the shed. It sounds harsh, but if Alphys is to be believed then people could be looking for you.

Like UT Papyrus, he tries to keep your spirits up with training and puzzles.

Even if that training is just you two figuring out how to cook lasgana and not burn down the kitchen.

→ I don't like her. I personally think that she bullies others subtly and thinks she's above everyone.

Noel - bullies him (subtly) for being gay and not feeding into the stereotypes she believes.

Mischa - looks down on him for being a "bad boy”, scared of him for an RBF

Ricky - Just ablist towards him. Uses him as a scape goat for trouble.

Penny - Thinkis that she's weird and shoe-in for the chior. Looks down on her for her crimes and family.

Ezra - Same as Penny but very too vocal

Constance - Unknowingly manpulating her. Just a bad friend.

Noel Gruber

→ Sensitive, a poet. Wants to live life to its fullest but over all, scared of that. Dials his everything back.

Ocean - bullied by her constantly. That's about it.

Mischa - huge crush on nim, wrote letters and burnt them without giving nim then.

Ricky - they don’t interact much

Penny - thinks she's cool, hangs out wiher and gushes over Johnny Moon with her

Ezra - Talk abt European nihilism together as well as obscure entertainment

Constance - they bake together and he’s in classes with her

Ocean - Doesn't care much for her, but stands up to her she's bothering others

thinking about cherry magic th ep 7 and how I'm SO glad the story went this way, even though I admittedly found the karanachi plot of this episode immensely stressful to watch alsd;kfj;aksdlf like it was so so perfect and fitting for them and their arc

cause like... sure they could've gone on a beautiful perfect sweet date where nothing went wrong and it was just a nice cute classic BL episode 7 plot and the character development/relationship development happened later on, and there would've been nothing wrong with that!! but that wouldn't have been very true to their characters- it makes SO much sense that they'd both worry about it a lot and that karan would deal with that by overcompensating and achi would deal with that by not expressing his feelings of discomfort- and it also just would've been such a less meaningful episode overall

like obviously the major theme of the episode as echoed in the other plots as well is getting to know someone organically- not using mindreading or anything else, just communicating openly and honestly in order to better understand who someone is and what they like and don't like. and obviously that's what karan realizes he should've done all along, and I LOVE that we have that moment where he explains WHY he did what he did- he wanted to impress him!! he was nervous!!- which of course makes sense, but the fact that we get this lovely character growth moment for him where he realizes that he should've like... asked achi if he liked it!!! can ask next time to make the next date something much more achi's speed!!! now has so much more information about who achi is as a person after this series of missteps!! is just my favorite thing

and ofc achi has the same moment of like "wow yeah this would've gone better if I had communicted my feelings to you" al;djfa;ldsj and like... I have a lot of feelings about how achi is able to break through his fears of hurting karan's feelings in order to communicate his thoughts and feelings directly cause it is truly just so good for the health of their relationship long term but ALSO is so extremely good for achi himself to have done. achi is someone we emphatically know struggles with self-worth issues AND has idolized karan for a long time- it would make sense that his go-to move would be to devalue his own feelings of discomfort and not want to confront karan about this. but the fact that he IS able to acknowledge his own discomfort and not write it off and also communicate it to karan feels like such massive growth imo, and a sign of him feeling more secure in himself and slowly removing karan from the pedestal he put him on

and it's just also the sweetest thing in the world to me that achi is like "I don't want anything special being with you and talking like this is special enough" like that's perfect :(((( the communication and getting to know each other better and how to care for each other better is what makes the date special!!!

...though god even when talking about the insane date itself, not even the post-date clarity connection conversation, despite everything, achi still says that every minute they were together was special. that whole insane date. that's so lovely. he's so in love.

like I genuinely feel like they will both remember this as such a wonderful first date (that the necklace will immortalize forever al;sdjkfaklsdf) because despite all the missteps and stressful components they were spending time together and learning more about each other and that's the most lovely thing for both of them :')

Also I found out that the reason it seemed so familiar when i started seeing it around was because my friend literally recommended it to me a few months back..

Ashlyn and Aiden being adorable hours. there is so much of them being cute, and Im always just. glad they can get what little comfort they may from getting closer because those kids sure need it

Another one, it is jsut. so soft. so important to me. Yes offer each other support and closeness in theese hard times, humans are mode for community

I dont think ive mentioned this but its so important to me how all the kids are caretakers of the group in their own ways, like they all care SO much and they show it in different ways but its undeniable.

Ashlyn cares in the way she tries to keep everyone alive and takes on responsibility and also in the way she is on the lookout for danger and generally tries to make plans and get them out of trouble

Taylor takes care of them in a more emotional core capacity, as in she has communiction skills that a majaority of them are indeed lacking in, she says things that need to be said and she helps keep them all together

Tyler on the other hand tends to care for people more in a way fo things he can Do, like doing laundry and feeding when they lived with their mom, practical things, and in the group its very much taking point, hitting things, going over and scaring of that guy that was bullying logan

Ben takes care of them in a medical way, he ptches them up physically and he worries about them and offers his silent support, and like he is still such a teen about it, they all are, but just. When they met up in the facility and tyler was like how about some words of encouragement? tell me its going to be okay and shit, and Ben just wnet and touched him while doing thumbs up, that was so sweet and so teen behaviour i love them all. And of course he is also protective in the way that he gets angry on logans behalf and would also hit someone physically as well

And the way Aiden cares for their little group might be filled with jokes, and a lot of adrenaline and overall danger seeking behaviour, but he still tries so hard, like yes he bothers people on purpose but he also livens a lot of situations, and when they need him he is there and delivers, he tries to ground ben, and ashlyn as well, he is the sort of prescence that you know will stay by your side

And Logan probably shows the most outwards signs of being scared but he still does so much and he clearly cares about the group back. He protects their back and worries about them and when push comes to shove he is there and pulling more then his weight, he helps so much with figuiring out the way the shadow realm works (thats what im calling it. it seems correct to me) and when he got that card? Like he doesnt seem to be very used to having actual close friends, which is true for most of them, but he does care about people and he does try to help others

Idk i just love all theese kids

also, this one hit different, i was so worried about tyler, im glad he is alright-ish for now

Also i know its easy to see how Ashlyn is a lot like her mom, especially in the beginning chapthers but i think its cool to see how much she is like her dad as well

I know there are a lot of other things to be said, and that i probably need a little more time to properly think about stuff and analyze before i can make any actual analysis but for now Ill probably put it a bit on the backburner

On the topic of theories and stuff thou, the phantoms to me have very much seemed connected to shadows in some way, as the changes in the real world affect their shadows, but people who dont see it dont seem to see the changes aeither, as we sall with ashlyns parents, and the things they said abour rifts - it overall definelty has a different, potentionally mirror dimention feeling. Also, If the phanthoms are caugh people, then the giant sentepede thing is likely a turned animal maybe? It seems likely to me that the forest would have less humanoid beings because it is less populated

Also im really curious about Logans grandparents and hoe they got that sedative. Also i have the bad feeling that their parents will get hit with the comatose version of being taken into the rift.

Also im curious about the power surges our guys cause. They seem to be emotion based, but I dont see why the other victims wouldnt cause them? Maybe they didnt stay together? or maybe they didnt live long enough? likely both but im not sure its tge reason. Also if it IS connnected to their emotional/psychological state then does that have anything to do with why aiden recovered faster? Personally i think it also has to do with the type of injury, but like do you heal faster in the shadow realm if you have depression? Or does it have something to do with your own self perception of youe wounds?
