I went to my prosthetist's clinic this week to pick up my leg (the knee needs to be sent off once a year to be serviced to maintain the warranty) and my prosthetist asked if there was anything he could do to help me use my prosthetics more - basically making sure my reasons for not using them weren't something easily fixed.

The serious answer was that we've tried everything both of us could think of and I'm just at the point where the pros aren't outweighing the cons anymore, and im honestly ok with that.

The less serious answer is I would absolutely take that back and push through with the prosthetic if he made my legs look like dragon or even faun legs, but prosthetic component manufacturers are boring and have no imagination and boring human legs aren't fun enough to keep my attention lol.

I think my shitty hotel wifi ate my last post so here we go again, without pictures this time:

Today's List of Nice Things:

1) OMG. MICHAEL SHEEN IS A REAL PERSON. And he fucking cold-read a one-man play for a live, 500 (600??) person audience. Wild. The fucking balls on this man.

2) Met a bunch of lovely Good Omens nerds from all over Asia, North America, and Europe for pizza before the show. One of them gave me a handmade bracelet that says Ducks. (Feed them frozen peas, not bread.)

3) Ate not one, but TWO pasties. Mission accomplished

4) Wandered around SoHo, Chinatown, Leicester Square, and Picadilly Circus. Love this side of London and it's so much more massive than I imagined.

5) Visited a bookstore that could give Powells a run for its money. Ifykyk

6) Slept like the dead last night

Putting my job on the line yet again cause I'm a big ole softie and I will go out of my way to help you if I'm at all able to find any loopholes to do so

Had a client that did not have the appropriate documentation in hand for a process and when I told them they would need to try again once they had them and that they would be assisted by someone else they got distressed because they felt I was the only reasonable person they had been able to get and were really tired of dealing with people that wouldn't listen or wouldn't help so they didn't want to deal with anyone other than me

And I'm over here like, you know what? What the hell, because of the hour when they submitted their request I KNOW there are some loopholes I can exploit to get them the assistance they need and save them all the red tape, and having to start over, so why wouldn't I?

Just hope they don't get one of those random surveys and mention what I did for them cause they could get my ass fired lol
