Also it suckssss that I've finally found a way of coloring that I enjoy looking at AND working with but I never have any ideas for drawings I'd like to color. I struggle a lot with drawing characters just like "floating" when I'm doing digital art which is when I color stuff because it's just easier to color that way!!! I'm always like Well what are they even supposed 2 be doing ... ?! when it literally does not matter but u don't understandddd I need to fill up that canvas or I'll DIE !!!!

damn this post on my FB from 2020 about how i was gonna stylize time gate after Reaper was finished aged like milk right in the first line

i did in fact end up in another mass hiatus period like i did back in 2017/2018-

the rest of the post is me talking about how i'm trying to settle into an easier style that 'lessons the load'

instead i ended up doing a full color vertical comic with 60+ panels per episode every week and i did that for like 6 months and then burned out like a dying star

and now it's been on hiatus since like 2023 and i'm doing a completely different full color vertical comic with like 30+ panels per episode updated every two weeks, which is definitely a lighter load but still a load LOL

hang in there past me, you didn't see any of this coming but a lot of it's been for the better; as for the stuff that didn't go so well, we'll get through it in due time u.u </3

I wanted to say thank you for the wonderful work you've done and are still doing to bring back Love & Legends.

It's hard to explain, but it really was a little heartbreaking when the App closed; more than a few stories in there were quite comforting to read and re-read, and to have them gone like that was sad.

Love & Legends was especially close to my heart, so imagine what a gift it truly feels to see it coming back and in such a wonderful new light! I did look online for the backups of my fave route from it (Helena's), but needless to say this is infinitely better!

The art you made for it is absolutely brilliant and so much fun. I love the style, the choices you made and especially the outfits. Your take on it is even more appealing to me for several reasons: the main character looks more mature, there's more variety in body types, the details and additions are lore-friendly and fun, the world-building and different cultures are enriched through new clothing designs, and the proportions look more realistic.

Overall, it feels like a more detailed, lore-friendly, and refreshing version of the original, and I love every aspect of it. The redesign is also very respectful of the original, which I appreciate.

I'm also obsessed with the changes you made, such good choices all around. For one, of course Lennox is a fairy, that little shit. And lightning scarred MC? Well yeah, how could she not? Helena's withered hand? Sick. Reiner literal EVERYTHING?? Fuck yes. August hair my god thank you for saving his soul (also his armor looks so good). Iseul's whole family serving c*nt, I love it; their clothes are delicious. Altea's belly! How fucking cute! And her gear is so pretty, ugh! Saerys’ body marks!!! Yes and thank you! EVERYONE NOSES!! THEY CAN BREATHE!!

I always felt that Love & Legends had so much potential and that there was a lot more to explore with its writing and characters. It's clear that the time and compensation for the people working on it were limiting factors.

Aw, this is genuinely making me emotional. I've been thinking of this project since 2021 for so many of the same reasons.

I care about these stories so much and I really wanted to approach it from that angle, redrawing characters as how I remember them rather than ever disrespecting the original, so people can both get into it for the first time or revisit it without getting turned off. I'm really happy that seems to have worked!

Alright... So, as we all know, Ta'ra is an albino na'vi, so i don't think that she would use something too bright, like green, or red or Orange, so, I found this one, that I thing it suits her a lot :))

I'rina;

Alright, I'rina it's actually quite the opposite to Ta'ra, I feel like she would definetly use a war paint that makes her face look brighter, so, here it is this one ^ ^

Noah'la;

It was pretty hard to choose one for Noah'la, because of his rebel nature, I think that he would use something pretty messy, like red lines all over his face, and there were a lot of war paints that looked like it, so i found these, and i'm still choosing, but these are the ones that I think that it would suit him very well u.u

I'kalu;

And just like I'rina and Ta'ra, I'kalu is pretty the opposite from Noah'la, he is organized (Like Neteyam), of course, I feel like he would use red as well in his face, so, here it is one that I think it would suit him really well :D

Xa'le;

So, Xa'le is that typical teen who like to be the "one and only" of his generation, like a emo kid, so i feel like he would like would use black... Like all black, maybe with some red on it(Yeah, if he was human, he would be emo xd) all lines, over his face, like this

I'krie;

I'krie, on other hand, likes to make it more colorful, in a way that makes it pretty obvious that she's putting whatever she finds on her face as paint, so, here it is one that I think it would suit her

Extra: Tarya;

This one is an honorific Mention, so.... Tarya, an Omatikaya-Olangi Warrior, someone who doesn't really cares what she puts on her face as longs as she wins the battle, a messy warrior if it is the right thing to say, so, here it is one that i think it's the perfect one for her

Pa'ya;

Alright, I know what you guys are thinking "Why are you thinking that Pa'ya would have a war face paint, if she's a reef na'vi, and the paint could wash off with the water" alright, let me explain, don't hate me yet. So, in Avatar 2, in the scene where Lo'ak connects his braid with Pakayan's memories and sees everthing that happened, we can see some metkayinan na'vi corpses floating underwater, and those corpses have these war face paintings, here's an imagine of that scene, for you guys to see that i'm not liying;

they are both hotheaded, have an interest in combat, and have a significant arc where they struggle with caring about their team and trusting other people to be competent . they are drawn to other people with Similarly combative demeanors and are prone to putting themselves in Bad situations out of pride.

Vio - Jay

Imagine the most special smartest guy ever who manages to make all the wrong decisions . tends to be self reliant and is not very smart when it comes to maintaining relationships . both kind of fake? and (IN MY OPINION) have some self esteem issues that mean they would hate the idea of meeting someone similar to them LOL. in the end these two act very differently from eachother but in my minds eye are cut from similar cloths

Red - Zane

Two guys who are misunderstood and often ostracized bc of their perceived differences !! those differences being: they are earnest and openly care about other people. The unspoken glue of their teams!! not much else to say unfortunately but they would get along like a house on fire u.u or on . ice?

Green - Cole

both with leadership qualities and skills in mediation !! ^.^ a bit hesitant to be a part of a group but ultimately the first to wholeheartedly embrace it. both are kind of hard to figure out on a surface level, but maintain that they are dependable, competent, and have strong instincts. chronically just a little bit awkward in social situations, but it comes from a very real desire to connect that neither of them know how to deal with. OH ALSO i just remembered they both have rlly shitty punny humor . god i hate them (chronically attached)

Shadow - Lloyd

was tempted to leave both of these guys out, which is exactly why they work together. oddball Additions to the Prime group, initially childish pawns of the True antagonist. they are both representations of what the rest of the group hate. in the end they’re embraced once they have a change of heart and are revealed for the scared kids that they are. there are probably more personality-specific lines to draw between them but Honestly most of it would be my own personal canon at that point. because lloyd didn’t have to die for the others to accept him and we never got to see a post-redemption shadow.
