Fun Kakagai idea: Hacker AU.

Kakashi was a hacker and has been from a young age. At first when he was a little kid, it was mostly benevolent and he mostly did it to see into people's computers and just have fun playing with code and sometimes moving things around.

But after he got good at it, he had a bit of a phase where he used it for more mischievous purposes. He'd send viruses to school bullies. Leak secrets about teachers he wasn't a fan of, and stole a few online games/ items from other online players when he heard them bragging or showing off in real life, because he could.

But one day he logs in and finds ALL his folders and coding moved into one file labled "Please stop stealing." And when he opens it there's another file with everything he took labled "Please give this back."

It's a terrifying scenario and for a moment he thinks his dad finally caught onto him/ what he was doing online, only to realize that was wrong and Sakumo remains completely unaware to his mischief. After a few more days of fretting, changing all his passwords and restarting/ wiping his computer in an attempt to clear everything, eventually he opens his computer to an open blank word document, with some only a few words saying.

"I'm disappointed you didn't give it back. Don't worry I backed it up and did ut for you. But please don't ever do this again, otherwise I'll have to tell."

Hey can any Japanese fans talk on naruto queer coding (if you can call it that) especially w characters like Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi and Gai. I’ve only really heard non-Japanese people speak on it so I was wondering how it’s be view by Japanese people.

I love kakagai, I think it's the ship that makes sense the most but what I dislike is how kakagai shippers saying it's canon, kakaobi shippers saying it's canon, kakairu shippers saying it's canon, hell even kakasaku and kakanaru shippers are claiming it's canon too just because Kakashi cared about them ಠ益ಠ Does canon mean that I like it so everyone else has to like it too now? It's infuriating to me that everyone likes to sexualize every beautiful relationship in Naruto then claim it's canon

Is this really such a big issue? Are people attacking you personally, or are they just stating their personal interpretations of canon, and because they don't align with your own, you're getting upset and coming into people's inboxes to try and make it an argument?

Basic rule of Tumblr: if people say what you don't like... block them. Don't react. Don't come into people's inboxes, don't post hate in the tags where fans will see it.

By all means, share your negative opinions! Your tumblr blog is your own. But you need to take measures to ensure the fans won't see it, otherwise you're not venting. You're trying to start a fight.

Look, people have different interpretations of 'canon'. Just because, for all we know, Kishimoto intended every single character except the creepy pedo-coded villain to be read as cishet, it doesn't mean there isn't canon subtext, however unintentional, that people can pick up on and adore.

Sure, the canon content can be read completely as platonic. But honestly, I'm a little weirded out at how you seem to think that seeing hints of a romantic relationship in canon between men in a children's show is ‘sexualisation’.

Where might that train of thought be coming from??? HMMMM I WONDER. :stares at the Don’t Say Gay bill, and every other argument that queer content is somehow inherently sexual:

Obviously, I'm not a fan of teacher/student ships. At the end of the day, I'm a firm believer in 'everyone can write what they want so long as they tag it properly so I can avoid it'. But seeing an adult and a child who are very close, and perceiving them as 'romantically involved', is a WHOLE lot different from seeing two adult male characters and thinking 'oh I can see a canon subtextual romantic relationship here'.

I don't really think they should be compared like this. I'm sure this wasn't your intention, but it kinda makes it sound like you're putting them on a moral playing field, which... no. :/

Of course, I may be being uncharitable. I admit that this whole issue might just be a muddle of terms. I and a lot of people use 'canon' to mean 'content in the source material'. This is different from 'Word of God', which means 'word of the author'. The two do not always align. However, if you see 'canon' as meaning 'both the source material and Word of God in combination', I can see that you might be upset that people are going against Kishimoto's personal views. I still don't think this is an excuse for actually bothering shippers about this, but I can understand it.

But the point remains: I haven't seen anyone say 'this is a canon ship and therefore you have to ship it'. Why would they? Everyone knows that shipping doesn't 'have' to follow canon anyway. A canon ship is of no greater or lesser worth than a non-canon one.

If people are implying otherwise, they're asses - but in that case, why come for the entire kakagai fandom, rather than just blocking those Schrodinger's Assholes who I've never had the misfortune to meet?

I just. I cannot see how people interpreting a romantic element in a canonically close relationship that is only assumed to be platonic because the couple is m/m rather than m/f is hurting you, anon. And it definitely doesn’t justify harrassment, which is what my original post was about.

It's a regular day. No special weather, no big events, and no plans to do anything but lay in the dogs cafe and let as many of the pups cuddle up to him as possible.

First, though, he had some books to put away. While Gai was busy reorganizing some of the cats beds and their little outside escape area, Kakashi would focus on going through the new books they had gotten in and entering them into the system. He was quicker at typing the codes in so it only made sense.

Once they were entered into the system he would print out a sheet with their section listed beside each book and head off to sort them into the bookshelves in the cafe.

With a cup of coffee in hand and more energy than he had felt in days, Kakashi settled into his spot at the till and waited for Pakkun to get comfortable on his lap before beginning his work.

He was three books in when the door chimed, alerting him to a customer. Dragging his eyes away from the computer screen he smiled when he saw a familiar face there at the door. "Come to see the new dogs?" he asked playfully, rolling his eyes when Pakkun got up off of his lap and rushed over to the customer. "Traitor."

Note: thank you to @spellcasterlight for helping me so much with this fic. With the code ohrases and Lee’s little excitement over getting a team duck. I appreciate it and i don’t think this fic would have been half as good if you hadn’t let me talk your poor ear off about it

A moment of quiet, finally. The days training was complete, there were no missions or paperwork that required his attention, and he had no plans with any of his friends. Usually, Gai would use the quiet as an opportunity to train a bit more, but today he had something a bit more important to do.

With Dango in hand he claimed a seat in the far corner of the little shop and settled in. Once he was comfortable, he slipped a letter out of his breast pocked and carefully unfolded it. 

Dear Gai,

It has been a while since I’ve had an opportunity to write. I apologize for that. Things have gotten rather busy-

“Sensei!” Lee collided with his back, arms coming down around his neck for a tight hug. “Had you told us that you were going for Dango we would have joined you.”

Appearing at his side, Neji gave him an apologetic look. “We tried to stop him, but…well, he’s Lee.” A simple but effective explanation. Lee’s unstoppable personality is what made him an exceptional student. 

“Sensei?” Tenten appeared at Neji’s side, Gaze focused on the letter in Gai’s hand. “What are you reading?”

“A letter,” Lee answered for him as he leaned over his shoulder to get a better look. “You have friends outside of Konoha, Sensei?”

An innocent question, but Gai can’t help feel a little insulted at the implications behind it. “Of course I have friends outside of Konoha.” he grumbles under his breath, not missing the moment Neji and Tenten crowd in beside Lee to peer at his letter. 

Neji at least had the decency to try and cover his tracks, keeping himself faced towards the shops entrance rather than staring directly at the letter like his teammates, but he had a long way to go before he could be considered stealthy.

“It almost looks like a love letter,” Lee gushes, jabbing a finger into the center of the paper. “And clearly they have visited the village. ‘Hokage’s monument is a beautiful place.’. Is that where you two go on dates, Sensei?”

Gai can’t help but chuckle at his students question. Although Lee’s support is comforting, it comes a little too easily for his comfort. Most people would want to know about the person he’s dating before throwing their support behind them. 

Regardless , it’s nice to know that the code phrases him and Kakashi created worked just as intended. The meaning behind those words were far deeper than Lee could imagine. Where the sixteen year old saw a cute date location written clear as day for him, there was a hidden message only Gai could see.

Let’s meet at the flower field where we used to spar.

A perfect location for the two of them to spend some time together during Kakashi’s next visit.

“That’s cute,” Tenten spoke up next. “But some of this doesn’t make any sense,” shoving Lee’s hand out of the way, she pointed at another part of the letter. “‘The ducks quake twice a month’. What is that supposed to mean?”

“Perhaps his partner is getting him a duck?” Lee suggested, his eyes going wide with excitement. “Oh, Sensei can we help take care of it? It could be our team mascot.”

Behind them Neji sighed. “I doubt it means Sensei is getting a pet duck, Lee. He’s a tortoise summoner, remember?” he scolded his teammate. “It’s more likely a coded phrase. Something that only him and his friend know the meaning behind.”

Astute, as always. The sentence was silly but just as with the last it had a much deeper meaning. One that left Gai with a feeling of joy in his heart.

I’ll be able to visit in two months.

It felt like forever since he had last seen Kakashi. The distance between Konoha and the land of Iron made it difficult for them to visit often, and their jobs kept them constantly busy. It was only because of Kakashi’s Sensei and mother that they got any time together at all. Two people Gai would like to thank personally one day for their efforts in aiding Kakashi.

“Well, whatever it means I bet it’s weird,” Tenten commented with a look of disgust. “Everything Sensei does is weird.”

“You simply don’t understand the power of youth yet,” He chuckled when Tenten crunched up her nose. “One day, when you’re older, you’ll appreciate how fun it is to be weird.”

“No thank you,” she rejected his words with a roll of her eyes. ‘Anyways, I’m not done bugging you about this letter.”

“Tenten…” Neji gave it an honest try, but both of his teammates continued to ignore him while Tenten pointed out another line in the letter.

“‘The moon looks beautiful here’,” she reads the words slowly, as if weighing each of them in her mind. “That’s cheesy, Sensei. Whoever this is, they’re cheesy.”

“I think it’s cute,” Lee argued. “They are admirring they place they are, even if Sensei’s not there to enjoy the moon and all of its beauty with them.”

“You’re both hopeless.”

Ignoring Neji’s jab, Gai read the words for himself. Once, twice, and a third time for good measure. With every re-read his smile grew and the warmth in his chest spread.

I miss you.

“Ah, this is boring now,” straightening herself up, Tenten peered at the letter once more before turning to Neji. “Whatever is in that letter has Sensei acting all mushy. Let’s get out of here before it gets worse.”

Lee whipped his head around, staring at his teammates with a shocked expression. “We can’t just leave. What if Sensei needs-”

“No,” Neji interrupted him. “There is no support we could offer Sensei when it comes to…love,” he grimiced when he finally managed to spit out the last word. “Besides, I doubt he wants our advice anyways. We would only be getting in the way.”

Lee opened his mouth to protest further, but before he could get a single word out Tenten grabbed his left ear and used it to drag him towards the exit. “Honestly, you’re hopeless Lee,” her scoldings lingered in the air, even after the trio had exited the shop. “Sensei doesn’t need us hovering over his shoulder-”

Slowly her voice faded away into the distance, a slight chuckle in Gai’s throat at the memory of Tenten hovering behind him in the exact way she was not scolding Lee for. With no one around to interrupt him any longer, he returned his attention to the last few lines of the letter.

The smile on his face must have looked ridiculous to anyone who could see him at this moment, but Gai couldn’t care less. In the most absurd way possible, Kakashi had written him a simple but beautiful request. 

Don’t die out there.

“I won’t,” he promised to the empty air around him. Folding the letter back up, he slipped it into his breast pocket once more and sighed. 

In two months at the field they used to spar in when they were boys. Before everything had gone so horribly wrong.That’s where they would meet again. All he had to do now was secure a day off around that time and keep himself busy until then so the days would fly by. 

If he was fortunate, he’d find himself standing in front of Kakashi once more without even feeling the weight of time on his back. 

“Perhaps a little extra training today wouldn’t hurt,” he decided, finally grabbing the stick of Dango he had ordered when he first arrived and scarfing it down. “A nice run around the village should do. Let’s say…five hundred laps!”

With that decided he headed out to continue his day, determined to make these next two months pass as quickly as possible. 

Two months and seventeen days. That’s how long Gai found himself waiting until Kakashi’s visit finally came. With only a weeks notice via letter, Gai struggled a little to secure the day off. Thankfully, Shizune pulled through for him and convinced Tsunade-sama that a day off would be advantageous for his mental health. All he had to do in return was help her with some of her work tomorrow.

For now, there was only one thing that required his focus.

Brushing a branch out of his way he stepped into the familiar field to see all the wild flowers in full bloom. Every inch of the field was covered in a variety of coloured flowers, each stretching out towards the sun seeking its warmth.

In the middle of the fiel was something more beautiful than any flower in existence, though. With wild silver hair sticking out in every direction, a cloth mask over the lower part of his face, and armour that shone in the sunlight, Hatake Kakashi made a stunning sight. A picture that Gai could spend hours, possibly even days, staring at without complaint.

“You’re late.” Kakashi scolds him, though his voice is too playful for Gai to take his words seriously. 

“Lee wanted to train a bit longer,” making his way towards the center of the field, he shivered a little when Kakashi turned towards him. No matter how many times he saw the seal markings on the left side of his rivals face, or the milky white eye that sat in place of the fire red Sharingan Obito had given him, Gai always found himself surprised all over again.

A change that he found he enjoyed, even if it left him with a feeling of mourning knowing Kakashi would never be able to look at him with a pair of his own eyes. 

“And of course you couldn’t say no,” Kakashi’s eyes twinkled with amusement. “Well, no point wasting time complaining about it.”

A hand came up between them, beconing Gai forward. Not one to turn down such a tempting offer, he quickened his pace. One foot at a time, bit by bit, until Gai was crowding into Kakashi’s space. 

From this angle Gai could see the little lines forming at the edges of Kakashi’s eyes. Wrinkles created over the years, not from weariness or stress but from Joy. A joy that he’s not sure Kakashi would have been able to find in Konoha, no matter how much he wishes it had been possible.

“When was the last time I had to opportunity to tell you that I love you?”

“Five months,” Kakashi answered with ease, his head leaning into Gai’s hand when he reached out to cup his face. “Give or take a few days.”

The exact number was tucked away in his brain, but it wouldn’t do either of them any good to dwell on it. All that mattered was the time they had here and now. A few precious moments where nothing else mattered.

One day, when they are able to step away from their commitments, they would find a place where they would never have to part from each other again. A home that they could call their own. Until that day these fleeting, precious moments would have to do.

“So,” his thumb traced the seal design that peeked out of the top of Kakashi’s mask. “How about a challenge?”

Laugher so cheerful and light rang through the air. A sound Gai would gladly listen to for the rest of his life if given the opportunity.

“A challenge,” Kakashi echoed his words back to him as his laughter slowly died down. “For you, I think I can manage that.”

It is very long since there are two so i am going to put it under the cut so people don’t end up with just this ridiculously long post on their dash

Restaurant Au (KakaShi)

·        Kakashi owns a nice little Sushi shop handed down to him by his father.

·        He asks his best friend/boyfriend Gai to help him with the place, knowing that Gai is better with customers and publicity.

·        Shisui is hired as a Sushi chief and is easily one of their best, as well as being very showy and popular with their guests.

·        Only a week after Shisui starts working there, people begin to come in just so they can see him make Sushi because he is so talented at putting on a show and making some of the best sushi they have ever tasted.

·        Kakashi doesn’t go to the store on a schedule and he never informs anyone when he’s going to come in. He usually just goes in to do paper work that he can’t do at home or to check in and make sure that everything is clean and health and safety codes are being followed. Gai, thankfully, is already pretty hard core on those as are all of their managers so Kakashi rarely ever has anything to correct.

·        One day he comes in during Shisui’s shift. Shisui hasn’t met him before and thinks that Gai is the only owner, so he thinks nothing of flirting with the cute business man who sat in from of him for food. It’s a dead hour so reservations are not needed to sit in front of Shisui.

·        Shisui spends half an hour flirting with Kakashi when Gai comes out of the back and spots him. He’s immediately at Kakashi’s side, getting in real close and flirting as though he doesn’t have someone standing directly in front of them, making Kakashi blush like crazy.

·        Suddenly Shisui feels very awkward, especially when Kakashi and Gai start talking about the business. Clearly he has missed something.

·        He is especially confused when Gai leaves for a moment and Kakashi turns back to him and continues flirting with him as if he wasn’t just being cute with his boss.

·        Not wanting to make things awkward with his boss, Shisui excuses himself to do something else and watches from afar as Gai returns and keeps talking to the cutie.

·        It’s only two weeks before he see’s the cute guy again, this time walking in with Gai in time for the place to open.

·        What confuses Shisui this time is that they seem to be talking about a date, but between Gai and someone named ‘Genma’

·        Kakashi takes a seat in front of Shisui again to do some work while Gai heads into the back.

·        Shisui, being a nosy shit with a lot of questions he really needs answers to, decides to ask Kakashi is he’s dating anyone.

·        Kakashi huffs at that and reply’s “of course I am. I’ve been with Gai for three years”

·        Shisui’s sad about that answer for a second before becoming really confussed. “but didn’t he just say he had a date with someone named Genma?”

·        Shisui can’t tell if Kakashi is actually smiling under his mask, but it seems like he is. He legit looks like he might be smiling. It take’s a while for Kakashi to explain, but as he’s listening to Kakashi telling him about their polyamorous relationship and how Gai likes to go on dates with his old classmate and sometimes even sleep with him, Shisui sort of starts to understand.

·        Which leaves him with one more question.

·        “if he’s dating other people does that mean…”

·        Kakashi laughs before Shisui can finish his question. “You didn’t think I was flirting with you to be a tease, did you?”

·        That’s how Shisui finds out that Gai has plans with his other boyfriend that evening, making Kakashi’s evening completely free. And he is A-Ok with that since he didn’t have any other plans for his evening.

·        Shisui ends up going on a date with Kakashi to the local BBQ place (since neither of them wants to be going on a date to the place Kakashi Owns and Shisui works) and talking about everything. Shisui even ends up telling Kakashi that he wants to open up a café of his own with his Cousin Itachi, he just has to save up enough Money. Kakashi offers to help him with any paper work or business understanding he needs help with, which is how Shisui ends up learning that Kakashi co-owns the sushi shop with Gai and is in fact the one it was handed down to.

·        They end up having a great night, and Kakashi even takes Shisui for a walk down towards the river while they keep talking.

·        Shisui’s still a little iffy about dating his boss, but Kakashi assures him that Gai takes care of everything within the store. Kakashi has no control over who gets a job, promotion or fired. It’s all up to Gai and the managers he picked. Kakashi just take’s care of finances and all of the background paperwork. It’s why the shop is so well run. The jobs are split perfectly based on who’s best at what, and Gai is definitely best at people.

·        Kakashi starts making more of a habit of coming in to visit Shisui on his shifts and flirting with him, sometimes even making date plans with him around Gai’s dates with Genma.

 Uchiha Kakashi (Kakayama)

·        Kakashi has had his Sharingan since he was five years old. Only Hiruzen and Minato know about it. Hiruzen because he’s one of the first to show up to the scene when help is called and the only one Kakashi looks at directly rather than trying to hide his eyes, Minato because he is made aware of this fact as soon as Hiruzen decides to make him Kakashi’s Sensei.

·        Danzo doesn’t find out until years later, shortly after Minato’s death when he tries to take Kakashi into Root. When Kakashi turns his back on him and tells Hiruzen what Danzo is planning, he ends up facing Tenzo just like in Canon. Except this time he activates his sharingan in order to dodge the Mokuton users attacks much easier.

·        When Kinoe tells Danzo of this, Danzo is furious to find out there was an Uchiha with the Sharingan activated that he did not know about. He could have gotten to Kakashi sooner if he had known and used him.

·        He continues to try and get Kakashi to join Root, Using Kinoe a lot of the time because he immediately see’s that Kakashi has a fondness for the younger kid.

·        This…does not work the way he wanted. Kinoe ends up forming a bond with Kakashi that he’s not supposed to, and when Danzo gets fed up with Kakashi refusing to join Root and orders Kinoe to kill him, he’s not so ok with the idea. Kakashi’s not known as the friend killer here because his sharingan actually allowed him to see Rin’s movements fast enough to dodge (where as obito’s eye was still new to him and he was still learning how to use it) So Danzo doesn’t really have a reason for Kinoe to follow orders other than ‘I said so’ which doesn’t work well.

·        Just like in Canon, Kakashi helps Kinoe escape Danzo’s influence and find a place for himself in the world.

·        Kakashi and Tenzo become Anbu’s most effective team, becoming known as the top shinobi in Anbu and Hiruzen’s favorites to send out on some of the hardest missions. Because of this, they spend a lot of time together.

·        This leads to them both developing feelings for each other as they get older, Tenzo developing feelings for Kakashi when he’s about 14 which go from crush to respect to full blown love by the time he’s 20. Kakashi on the other hand doesn’t really think of Tenzo as more than a friend until he’s a friend and Tenzo takes a really bad hit for him on a mission. When Kakashi demands to know why he would do that, Tenzo just smiles and tells him that he loves him and because of that he would die to protect him.

·        Kakashi, being a demiromantic adorable, starts to realize slowly that his bond with Tenzo is so deep and strong that he really can’t imagine his life without tenzo and that slowly starts to develop into romantic feelings.

·        Kakashi hasn’t been able to imagine his life without Tenzo for years of course. He adores Tenzo and trusts him completely, but suddenly it feels different. Not only can he not lose Tenzo, nights without Tenzo start becoming hard to deal with, missions away from Tenzo feel empty. He hates not having Tenzo around.

·        By the time the Uchiha Massacure is about to happen, Tenzo and Kakashi are actually starting to settle in together as a couple.

·        It’s a little difficult for them because neither of them have ever been good with emotions for different reasons so they definitely have their issues, but somehow they manage to make it work and neither of them could imagine their life without the other.

·        During the massacre, Itachi is informed that in order to meet his end of the deal he has to kill Kakashi. Itachi thinks this would be easy, but when facing Kakashi finds he can’t do it and instead asks Kakashi to kill him for what he has done and to take his and Shisui’s eyes and deal with Danzo. (Idea given to me by @itachi-uchiha-deserved-better )Kakashi does this, accepting the nickname of ‘friend killer’ from the village because he knows that’s exactly what he is.

·        After the Uchiha massacure, Kakashi is pulled out of Anbu and made a Jonin Sensei, though he still doesn’t get a team for a few years. During this time, him and Tenzo find it’s harder to spend time together because Tenzo is now a team Captain going on Anbu missions, while Kakashi is going on completely different missions. Kakashi’s guilt from killing Itachi doesn’t make any of this any easier, and in fact makes him push people away from him once again.

·        He does keep his end of the deal with Itachi though, which involves finally taking Danzo down. He plans to do this alone, but Tenzo refuses to let him when he finds out what Kakashi is going to do.

·        The two of them face off against Danzo, and after a long very difficult battle, finally manage to kill him. Kakashi knows that this could come with the result of being branded traitors for the murder of an elder, but Kakashi also knows why Itachi did what he did and he tells Tenzo as much.

·        When Hiruzen tries to punish them, Kakashi make’s it known that he’s aware of Hiruzen’s role in the Uchiha massacure and that he can make sure everyone in the village knows. After all, who’s not going to trust the man who killed Itachi Uchiha, vs the one who ordered him to slaughter his own clan? Kakashi may be a friend killer, but that friend was a traitor in the villages eyes.

·        Hiruzen ends up having to step down from his post as Hokage, taking his elders with him as Kakashi doesn’t want that corruption anywhere near the new Hokage, and immidiatly Kakashi sends Tenzo out with Gai to locate Lady Tsunade. After hearing what has happened, Tsunade reluctantly agrees to take the job and heads to Konoha with Tenzo and Gai.

·        With Tsunade in place as hokage, Kakashi steps down from his spot in Anbu and decides for himself to become a Jonin Sensei, wanting to be there when Itachi’s little brother becomes a Genin so that Sasuke can be trained by an Uchiha.

·        Kakashi ends up taking team 7 a few years later and things become even more strained since he’s always going out on missions with them. The D missions only last a few months thanks to Naruto being an impatient demanding little shit who ends up landing them a mission way too overranked for a bunch of new genin (though honestly, that’s definitely on the guy who requested the mission)

·        When Kakashi comes back from the land of the waves he is in a really bad place. He ends up going to Tenzo’s room at the Anbu barreks and waiting for him to get home, which is possible since Sasuke is in the hospital healing after the fight. When Tenzo does get home, Kakashi is a mess and Tenzo can barley get through to him when Kakashi starts apologizing because he just can’t get out of his mind. Tenzo sits with him all night and listens to him tell him all about the land of waves mission and Zabuza and Haku. Tenzo decides that day that maybe Kakashi needs someone with him to help train the kids and take care of himself, and decides to approach Lady Tsunade in the morning.

·        She has no problem with Tenzo’s request, and instantly takes him out of Anbu and puts him on team 7 with Kakashi. This allows him to be there in case anything happens with Naruto, help Sakura with her training and realizing that she has the ability to use Mokuton, and to make sure that Kakashi is alright.

·        Kakashi and Tenzo never tell Sasuke what happened to Itachi. He knows that his brother killed the clan and died shortly after, but neither of them are brave enough to tell him how Itachi died, and Tenzo respects the fact that Kakashi really doesn’t want his student to know him as the man who murdered his big brother.

💚SECRETLY like??? ma’am i am an open book, esp on discord, so idk. i ship these 2 ladies from boruto who have a collective 20 minutes of screentime (buntan and hebiichigo) and i kind of multiship them w/ shizuma, but that was only gnna be a secret until i worked more on the rock band au. and anko/ibiki is something i don’t really talk abt i guess bc lesbian anko is such a good thing but she’s just such a fun weird lady n i feel like ibiki likes her

👎 um on a meta level i don’t think we’re ever going to see any gay ships still. there might be like a one episode thing where there r a pair gay coded antagonists but we’re never gnna get an episode addressing mitsuki’s gay feelings, we’re never going to get a wasabi/naimda date, we’re not even gnna get Return of the Kings Kotetsu and Izumo. that was really a downer, im sorry.

on a not meta level, kakashi/anybody but mighto gai. theyre in love sir. he’s not gnna fall in love with another jonin or one of his tiny students instead of gai!!! not to devalue other kakashi ships or the people who ship them, bc ppl can ship a lot of things for a lot of different reasons; the ones that aren’t kakagai just aren’t for me
