Imagine Beatrice and Ich just having a sleepover and somehow managing to get Clarice to join in and having a girl's night like none of them are traumatized.
(bonus: by some kind of miracle Mrs Danvers joins as well and the girly group is complete) (Ich would have to BEG for it, and would only work in an au were they get along)

Hey besties, I’m feeling in a creative writing mood so I’ve decided to take requests for quick one shots. Feel free to drop a prompt in my ask box. I’ll write for any Rebecca ship, platonic or romantic, and this includes one shots in the universes of all AUs I’ve written, so anything featuring Lydia is fair game too ☺️

Send me any Rebecca ship, platonic or romantic, and the number of the prompt you want 😄.
send me a pairing and a number and i'll write you a drabble
“Come over here and make me.”
“Have you lost your damn mind!?”
“Please, don’t leave.”
“Do you…well…I mean…I could give you a massage?”
“Wait a minute. Are you jealous?”
“Is there a reason you’re naked in my bed?”
“I almost lost you.”
“Wanna bet?”
“Don’t you ever do that again!”
“Teach me how to play?”
“Don’t you dare throw that snowba-, goddammit!”
“I think we need to talk.”
“Kiss me.”
“Hey, I’m with you, okay? Always.”
“So, I found this waterfall…”
“It could be worse.”
“Looks like we’ll be trapped for a while…”
“This is without a doubt the stupidest plan you’ve ever had. Of course I’m in.”
“The paint’s supposed to go where?”
“You need to wake up because I can’t do this without you.”
“We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?”
“I’ve seen the way you look at me when you think I don’t notice.”
“Just once.”
“You’re the only one I trust to do this.”
“I can’t believe you talked me into this.”
“I got you a present.”
“I’m pregnant.”
“Marry me?”
“I thought you were dead.”
“It’s not what it looks like…”
“You lied to me.”
“I think I’m in love with you and I’m terrified.”
“Please don’t do this.”
“If you keep looking at me like that we won’t make it to a bed.”
“You heard me. Take. It. Off.”
“I wish I could hate you.”
“Wanna dance?”
“You fainted…straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention you didn’t have to go to such extremes.”
“Hey! I was gonna eat that!”
“Have I entered an alternate universe or did you really just crack a smile for me?”
“You did all of this for me?”
“I swear it was an accident.”
“YOU DID WHAT?!”
“If you die, I’m gonna kill you.”
“Tell me a secret.”
“Hey, have you seen the..? Oh.”
“No one needs to know.”
“Boo.”
“Well this is awkward…”

So I just finished watching Medici: The Magnificent and the end really touched me emotional. Maybe it was because I knew what happened at the Pazzi conspiracy but I didn't knew how they'd handle it. And it was.. emotional. And epic. I was touched much more than one month ago at the GOT finale and not because Medici is based on real events. It was just so deep which makes it even more real than it already was.

Texas Democrats Once Again Counting on Hispanic Turnout
https://uniteddemocrats.net/?p=4364
Texas Democrats Once Again Counting on Hispanic Turnout
Fri, Jun 22, 2018 at 5:33 pm CST
Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa speaks at the 2018 Texas Democratic Convention. Justin Miller
4.8 million. That’s the number on the minds of those attending the myriad meetings for Latino Democrats —  the Progressive Hispanic Democrats, the Mexican American Caucus, Tejano Democrats, the Hispanic Caucus — on the first day of the Texas Democratic convention here in Fort Worth.
There are 4.8 million Hispanic voters eligible to vote in November. It’s the second-largest Hispanic voting bloc in the country, second only to California, and rapidly growing.
“I will tell you raza, I will tell you Democrats, that this happened because we didn’t go vote. There’s more of us than there is of them,” Texas Democratic Party Chair Gilberto Hinojosa told members of the Mexican American Caucus. “Por chingos” — a shitload more, he added. Talking about family separation along the border, Hinojosa declared, “[Republicans] are doing this to our people and they are doing this to our people because we have allowed it. Because we have not gone to vote, raza.”
For years, the Texas Democratic Party — in fact, the national Democratic Party — has tied much of its political hopes and dreams to the idea that the demographic destiny of a quickly diversifying electorate would inevitably translate to political power. One problem: Democrats have failed to turn out Hispanic voters in large enough proportions to flip purple states like Florida, Arizona, and the liberal holy grail, Texas. In 2016, just under 41 percent of the state’s Hispanic eligible voters turned out, only slightly more than the 39 percent turnout in the 2012 presidential election.
Flash forward to 2018, a midterm election year when Latino turnout — and turnout across the board — typically falls off. State Democrats are desperate to minimize that problem. Party strategists hope that Beto O’Rourke, a Senate candidate from El Paso, and gubernatorial candidate Lupe Valdez, the daughter of Mexican migrant workers, will galvanize Hispanic voters to turn out throughout South Texas and beyond.
Activists are also emphasizing the need to get out and talk face to face to voters about the anti-immigrant rhetoric and policies of the Trump administration and the Texas Republican Party, from family separation to Senate Bill 4. What is unclear is precisely how the party’s plan is to do that outreach.
“We have Our Revolution but we need a Hispanic revolution,” said Cinia Clarich Montoya, a Democrat from Nueces County who is running to be the party’s Hispanic Caucus chairwoman. “It’s gonna take everything. Grassroots outreach, social media and Spanish radio and TV.”
That requires resources and a robust state party infrastructure, neither of which currently exist for Texas Democrats. Julián Castro, the former mayor of San Antonio seen by some as the Latino face of the Democratic future, is somewhat optimistic, predicting that Hispanics in 2018 will vote at rates at least greater than the 2014 midterms.
Julián Castro at the 2016 Texas Democratic Convention.  Naveena Sadasivam
“The scale is not quite there, but we’re getting there,” Castro told the Observer, citing a $2.5 million nationwide initiative (if $2.5 million can qualify as a nationwide initiative) from the national Democratic Party to turn out minority communities and $7 million that the group Voto Latino announced it will spend between now and 2020 to target Hispanic voters, including in Texas.
According to a Texas Tribune report: the Fort Worth area is the epicenter of growth: “Among the state’s largest counties, Tarrant County was home to the most rapid growth of Hispanic residents. Since 2010, Hispanics have expanded their presence in Tarrant by almost 23 percent, easily outpacing their overall growth rate in the state of about 18 percent,” the report found.
There’s a lot of Democratic potential in Tarrant County if they’re able to reach the growing Latino population. Sylvia Rodriguez, who is a deputy voter registrar here in Tarrant County, said she’s doing pop-up voter registration drives at restaurants around town and trying to do as much as possible to boost registration among Latinos. “If they don’t know [that they are able to register to vote], then they’re not going to act on it,” she says.
One problem: She says she is one of only a few Spanish-speaking voter registrars in the area.

I JUST FINISHED A DRAFT BUT FUCK YEA!!!
Manderley was a big, but lonely place. After marrying Maxim, things hadn't been as fun and easy as Mrs de Winter first had thought at the house. The eyes of people fell on her everyday, and she heard whispers through the hallways. She would pay attention to know what they were saying, but it wasn't worth it. She already knew perfectly.
Rebecca.
That was everything she needed to know. They kept comparing her to Rebecca. The first Mrs de Winter. The original mistress. Compared to her, she was just a schoolgirl, who walked around the hallways, looking more like part of the staff, rather than the mistress. That's why the Manderley ball was such an opportunity for her.
Becouse for once, she was going to be the main character. She was going to be loved, and admired by everyone around her. She knew it. This was her only chance, and she could not ruin it. So, when Mrs Danvers showed her the painting of Caroline de Winter, she did not hesitate.
The dress was rather beautiful, both in the painting, and in person when it arrived from London. Clarice helped put it on, with her adorable but agile hands working. Mrs de Winter couldn't avoid feeling rather anxious.
–Now, are you sure that's where it should be?
She asked the girl, to which she quickly anwsered.
–Yes, ma'am, it's just right.
The girl worked on her dress, as her mistress looked in the mirror. The older woman couldn't contain her smile.
–Oh, isn't this exciting?
She bit her lip. She was anxious, but also very happy for what was going to come. She wanted it so bad, to be able to wear a costume, to pretend to be someone else so people would admire her. And that admirement was found in the younger's girls eyes, which looked up at her with a special sparkle, that somehow managed to make her heart flutter.
The younger girl anwsered.
–Indeed! I've always heard about the Manderley ball, and now I'm finally going to see one!
They both were so excited, looking like two teenage girlfriends getting ready for prom night. There was a pause, and Clarice spoke again.
–I'm sure no one will compare to you, ma'am.
She could have been lying. Oh, if that girl had seen Rebecca, Beatrice, or any other beautiful woman at Manderley! She could have thought they're much prettier than her. But she didn't. Clarice had an attitude towards her that made her feel like the mistress she was. But still, she was her friend, as well. She deeply admired Mrs de Winter, and it showed in the way she spoke.
Mrs de Winter smiled. However, she was still pretty anxious about the costume, and wanted everything to be perfect. She looked in the mirror again, checking everything, a little insecure. She spoke with a small voice.
–You sure I look alright...?
The words made her feel like a little girl. They sounded so insecure, so naïve. Yet, that's exactly what Mrs de Winter was. Clarice's words sounded like music to her ears, with her soft, sweet voice. It was filled with nothing but admirement, as she was still knelt before her.
–You look ever so beautiful.
She couldn't avoid but feel a little flustered by the statement. She felt a small flutter in her heart, as a smile creeped up her face. She smiled, and Clarice handed her her fan for the costume. She took it in her hand, and was about to hear out to the party, feeling more excited than ever.
She should've stopped herself. She should have thought twice. But this was Manderley's ball, the night where everyone could be a little bolder than usual and not have consequences.
–Clarice.
The woman spoke softly, in front of the door before looking back at the maid.
–Yes, ma'am?
There was a bit of hesitation. Then, Mrs de Winter smiled and got closer to the girl, before placing a soft kiss on her cheek. Clarice's small face looked surprised, but not in an umpleasant way. It was also a nice shade of red, with her brown eyes wide open. She was speechless, and before she could even react, Mrs de Winter was already turned towards the door.
–Thank you for helping me, Clarice. Wish me luck.
And out she went, with the skirt of the dress whispering as she walked. Clarice touched her cheek, noticing the warmth of her own face after the unusual event. She smiled to herself.
(I love gay people) (used the dialogs from the Hitchcock movie)
Ich and Clarice honestly should have more screentime together becouse I'm pretty sure their relationship is straight up adorable I just can't (also I can see Clarice having a one sided-crush on Ich If I'm honest)☹️☹️☹️

On this day in 1945, German forces officially surrendered and ended World War II in Europe. FFT Fellows annually choose to pursue learning from multiple perspectives around this period of history. This summer, those Fellows include:
Erika Wright, Margaret O’Connor and Pete Rizzi, high school literature, history and communications teachers who will follow the path of Art Spiegelman's father, Vladek, during WWII as detailed in Spiegelman's Pulitzer-winning graphic novel Maus to develop historical context supporting students' WWII/Holocaust digital travel diaries. “One of our major goals as a 21st educational team is to motivate our students beyond our classrooms and to become global citizens, but this can be difficult to envision as a student of limited means and world experiences. Our goal in seeing the conditions of Terezin, Gross-Rosen, and Auschwitz is not only to follow in Vladek’s family’s footsteps, but also to gain a broader picture of the atrocities endured by millions. We are committed to doing everything in our power to help build and educate a generation of citizens who will not stand for these deplorable actions to take place in their futures.”
Sara Clarich and Jennifer Horton, middle school teachers who will tour post-WWII Europe to witness the impact of the war as a supplement to a historical fiction reading and writing unit based on the time period. “Through our fellowship, we will better be able to assist students in reading historical fiction with a critical eye. We will model for students how to actively question the author as they read, and utilize their resources to gain a more accurate understanding of the historical elements. It is our hope that by sharing well-written historical fiction books together with our fellowship experience, students will engage with books that change their lives and inspire them to learn more, to know more and to do more in their world.” And,
Jennifer Rice, a high school history teacher of special education students who will create a series of virtual reality field trips from European locations impacted by WWII to teach purpose of place and impact on human society. “Over my tenure of teaching I noticed that many students disconnect from the content they are taught. I want to bring the connection of the context students learn in the classroom to the forefront of their perspective as civic minded people. On this fellowship I will learn how to incorporate virtual reality and inquiry based learning together to help students empathize with the impact of a historical event on society.”
To see how previous grant recipients wove their fellowships into powerful student learning, read about:
Amy McDonald, who co-authored a book with local Auschwitz-Birkenau survivor after visiting places from his childhood in Romania, as well as the concentration camp;
Natalie Biden and Emilie Jones-McAdams, who are linking their Holocaust research with the Civil Rights Movement in the American South; and,
Margret Atkinson, who created a website of “Upstander” resources, as well as a book called Threads, honoring Upstanders and their families whom she met on two FFT fellowships focused on the topic.
