This was published at FB back then when I first used to react another tragic news… still can’t believe it’s been 7 years already but the year itself was/is something that shall never be mentioned either as well.
Hope you’re still rest no matter where you are, Christina… …at least you and your mother already have reunited together afterwards.

Okay, but am I the only one that's never actually listened to the original version of Just a Dream by Nelly? I've only ever been familiar with Sam Tsui and Christina Grimmie's cover. (As well as Caleb Hyles & annapantsu's cover, but that was tribute to the previous).
I have no reason as to why I've never actually heard the original song, it's at my disposal to listen to. It's my child brain that chooses to believe that A COVER is the real version.

Christina Grimmie Tribute
I'm a couple months late saying this, but i wanted to put a tribute out there:
6 years ago, we lost an icon: we lost Christina Grimmie to murder. Many of you know her from the voice, but i remember her from a lot earlier: she was the first artist i had ever truly listened to her, back when she was just the girl doing covers with a sonic poster in the background. she was the first artist that I looked up to. I have my older brother to thank for that but thats not the point. We lost her far too soon, and i still listen to songs and think 'man, Christina would have sounded so good singing this...'

Fly high, Christina, you would have been 28 this year if you were still around. thanks for being an inspiration to us all...

Christina Grimmie continues to change the world from heaven!
Last year was a rough year, we lost a lot of amazing talent in quite a few unfortunate accidents. One date that hit the world in the heart was on June 10, 2016. The one and only Christina Grimmie was taken from this Earth. She spread her wings and made way back to her home in the heavens. Although she’s no longer with us physically, she’s left a remarkable impact on this world and she’s still influencing her family, friends and fans.
Have you heard about the Christina Grimmie Foundation?
As you know we love bringing positive celebrity gossip and all their wonderful charities happening in the world. And we couldn’t be more proud of Christina Grimmie and her goals to change this world for the better.
The Christina Grimmie Foundation has focused its mission on making a profound impact on the world in two ways: Providing financial, emotional and encouragement support to families who have suffered from the negative effects of gun violence and it’s there to support families who have had to face the struggles of receiving a breast cancer diagnosis.
The fact is, life comes at you fast and everything can change in less than one second. And Christina knew how precious it is to be alive, even through the tough trials we all go through in life. Afterall, it was Christina that said “People aren’t born strong. People grows stronger little by little encountering difficult situations learning not to run from them.”
And she’s completely on point, don’t you agree? We aren’t born strong but the trials that we go through in life, those make us strong. We are supposed to fight, endure until the end and help others achieve their goals as well. That’s one thing that Christina Grimmie taught the world on a daily basis. She impacted the world through her music, her beliefs and her constant faith and love for everybody she had in her life, including her fans.
But there are some people who didn’t know a lot about Christina Grimmie. And let us just assure you, no article, no words, nothing we write can fully justify how amazing this daughter of God truly was inside and out. Christina had the dream and desire to sing and that’s exactly what she did, she followed those dreams and started her YouTube channel. Those pipes of her drew the attention of over 3.8 million followers. And shortly after that she released her first début album “With Love,” and opened for Selena Gomez during her North American Tour.
Life really started to take off for Christina after her time on The Voice working with Adam Levine. And it was “probably the most defining moments of her life,” as she expressed in past interviews. She said:
“It definitely elevated me, I feel, in a professional way. I feel like people, you know, probably didn’t take me as seriously when I was just living on the YouTube space.” she stated adding “The Voice kind of brought this level of professionalism to the table and I never really had that and the exposure was so widespread.”
And because she didn’t stop she was able to influence in the world in more than one way. She’s worked on many charities, she’s worked with the Humane Society, PETA, Oceana and even ONICEF.
How amazing is that, really? There are so many thing we could be doing in the world to help better our surroundings but we don’t take action and she did take action. She stood as a positive influence and leader, encouraging us all to take action in our world. It was just recently ( April 23, 2017) that the Human Society honored Christina with the Impact Award and Rachel Platten gave an absolutely beautiful tribute.
The impact Christina Grimmie made on this world is permanent. And I think that’s amazing. (I mean when I leave this Earth, my only hope is that I was able to influence one person to become better than they were yesterday. If I’ve made one person smile then I consider that a success). It doesn’t matter how rich you are or what you do for work in this life. What really matters is how you impact this world.
Grimmie left nothing but a Christ-like light in the lives of her family, friends and fans. That you guys, is something special.
The Christina Grimmie legacy will continue to live on through her foundation and the work of her family. They have been working hard to make sure that her wishes are still being met and that she can continue to influence the world through her passions, music and foundation. And this you guys is called being alive even if she’s not here physically.
Christina Grimmie is in all of us. While her death was far too soon and tragic, it should never define Christina as whole. It should merely a footnote compared to everything else she’s been able to accomplish because her charity, philanthropy, love for others and God, those are what will allow her to live on with her influence.
You never forget a person like Christina Grimmie. She was fun, goofy, honest and above all, she was herself. She wasn’t ashamed to be herself and that’s how we should all strive to be in this life.
Marcus opened up about her new album that will be coming out in June 2017.
“Everything changed when she met this producer Stephen (Rezza). This is the best stuff I’ve ever written.” She told her family. And when you listen to her latest hit, well, it gives you the chills because while she may not have known at the time, the lyrics fit perfectly:
“I won’t be another ghost
No, I won’t be invisible
You see me everywhere you go
No, I won’t be invisible, yeah”
She will not be another ghost, in fact, she will never be invisible. And she’s still changing the world from above. If you haven’t heard her latest hit, check it out below. And stay tuned because we are going to continue and follow her legacy. PCG magazine is devoted in sharing the positive that talent bring to the table. And we’re beyond proud of Christina Grimmie and her family. Remember, this new album is going to come out June 2017.
The proceeds for the album will be going to the Christina Grimmie Foundation supporting families who have had to deal with gun violence and breast cancer. These tragedies are hard and the Grimmie family just wants other people who are struggling to feel support when it’s hard to think, trials can really make it hard to function. But with their help and Christina’s constant influence we can work together to influence the world in a positive light.
Never give up, just keep getting stronger.
How did Christina Grimmie influence your life? Let us know in the comments below. (We are working on an exclusive and would love to include your story in our next write-up). Don’t forget to subscribe to our positive celebrity gossip Newsletter. That way you can stay up-to-date on the latest Christina Grimmie Foundation news and music.
Blessed be.

I finally did it... I finally have beaten Breath of the Wild! My second Zelda game I have beaten... And I think I can safely say, without a doubt that Breath of the Wild is truely the best Zelda I had ever played... This game's story maybe alittle simple, but I think this was Nintendo's intention. They wanted you to go out there and explore the world of Hyrule, your own way, and man, does this game reward you for your efforts. This game has so much to do, it gives you a great challenge, and it truely has changes the way we look and play 3D Zeldas and even any Zelda's in general. I feel truely that Nintendo has set a new standard that will never be touched for a long time. Thank you Nintendo, for making gaming ever so bright for this year with this and the Switch! I cannot wait to see what you may have in store for this generation. ...To those who had passed away during this game's production... Would have absolutely loved this game as much as I did... Adam Levine Delivers Emotional Tribute to Christina Grimmie on The Voice
Adam Levine and everyone at The Voice has not forgotten about Christina Grimmie. During tonight's live episode of the NBC singing competition show, host Carson Daly made a special announcement about a beloved contestant. "As you know, family is very, very important to us here at The Voice and last year we tragically lost one of our own, the incredibly talented and beautiful Christina Grimmie," he explained. "Tonight, in memory of our good friend and along with Christina's family, we're honored to help announce the creation of the Christina Grimmie Foundation, benefiting those impacted by gun violence and families just like her own affected by breast cancer." The cameras then passed to Christina's family who were in the audience for the special announcement. "Thank you for letting us be a part of this very important moment," Carson continued. "And Christina, we feel your spirit here at The Voice every single day and we love and miss you dearly." Musicians Performing Live on Stage Adam, who had Christina on his team during season six, later appeared on stage where he had a personal message for the late singer's family. "God, I loved her so much. I am talking to you guys specifically, I'm talking to everybody. I miss her," he shared as Christina's family wiped away tears. "It is unfair she is not here. We are going to sing a little song. I am going to be singing every word to her in her honor. Thank you for being here. Christina, we love you." Within moments, the final members of Team Adam took to the stage with their coach to sing "Hey Jude" by The Beatles. Christina passed away in June 2016 after being gunned down at a concert in Orlando, Florida. Adam would offer to pay for the late singer's funeral as well as her mother's travel expenses. Fans can still enjoy the voice and talent of Christina to this day. Her new EP titled Side B is available on iTunes now. A full album of Christina's music will be released on June 2. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on NBC. (E! and NBC are part of the NBCUniversal family)

So, today I finally bit the bullet and decided to clear my follower count of pornbots. I had always rather dreaded doing this, because I had the sneaking suspicion that my follower account was mostly pornbots. However, I think I only found about ten to fifteen spam bots of various kinds, as well as a couple accounts that had never posted anything. I may have accidentally blocked a few real people there, because I know at least one of my major followers has a completely blank Tumblr (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) but I’m pretty sure most of them were empty shell porn bots. Sadly, at least a quarter of my followers have been inactive for months at minimum, years at most. Rest In Peace, you ephemeral phantoms of digital memory. Here’s what I learned about y’all during my trip through my follower list: One of you seemed to be a content aggregator for academic articles. One of you is a very talented pornographic artist (seriously, your colours are marvellous). One of you had a really great taste in landscape photography. One of you was a spambot for socks? One of you is a plant. One of you absolutely needs to get out of that relationship - honey, he ain’t good for you and I think you know it. One long-dead blog of particular note had as their last post a rather moving tribute to Christina Grimmie, whom I had not previously been aware of and whose story was as fascinating as it was tragic. One of you was a PrettyCure fanblog that hasn’t posted since 2016. I have never watched PrettyCure. Ever. My oldest follower is Grey Delisle, who hasn’t touched Tumblr in four years since an ill-judged joke about childhood trauma BUT STILL COUNTS. A celebrity thought I was cool enough to follow, once. A lot of you seem to be lesbians. That’s rad. Some of you are Canadian. Shoutout to my fellow countrypeople! Tim Hortons, am I right? (God I hate Tim Hortons. Nothing is more degrading to our national character than our identifying a fifth-rate coffee shop with freeze-dried food as something to be proud of.) At least one of you is a very talented musician. None of you appear to be fascists. One of you needs to clean the dust of his blinds. All of you seem to enjoy a series of reblogs occasionally interspersed with very long and poorly-edited rants about various aspects of pop culture. Anyways, follows who aren’t pornbots - I hope y’all are having a good evening. I appreciate each and every one of you. This one goes out to all of you:
youtube
(If you’ve followed me for this long you should know I’ve spent over twenty minutes agonizing over what song to close this with and I already tried and discarded the Carpenter’s Close To You and that creepy cover of Close To You from Mirrormask. I do this because I love you and want you to have the best diegetic score for your life.)
