I said it before and I'll say it again but Ulrike Schweikert is so good at writing relationships of any kind.

Her romance is serving! We have Alisa and Franz Leopold with their incredible rivals to lovers arc, who's realtionship is so well written and who are literally so perfect for each other.

Latona and Malcolm. Human x Vampire, Vampire hunter x Vampire. The yearning, the willing to do everything in their Power to get to the other. Their journey through five books and then they finally get together and her dream of becoming a vampire comes true!! I love that!!

Luciano who would do everything for his Clarissa and who is so helplessly in love. The angst and pain they go through to get their happy end in Venice together in the end.

And of course Chiara/Sören, Rowena/Mervyn and Tammo/Nicoletta (I especially love these two!!)

And then the sibling relationships!!

Seymour and Ivy. Both born by the druid Tara. He getting turned into a werewolf, her into a vampire. Seymour being so protective and behaving so adorably all the time.

Alisa and Tammo, who fight a lot especially in the beginning but realize that their sibling isn't that bad after all. I am specifically thinking about Oscuri here...

Oscuri is so great guys because Anna Christina also takes a huge part in it and helps where she can.

And of course the platonic love. Our main four but also Clarissa and Latona who live through the same but where one wants to be a vampire desperateley the other one never wanted to.

Luciano who would do anything for Ivy because she's his friend.

And even Franz Leopold who she "betrayed" is always at her side even when his heart was still broken.

Seymour's friendship with Latona which comes from her bringing him out that hospital.

Hindrik who not only is best friends with Matthias but who loves his heirs so much. He literally helps them when they change Clarissa even though it is actually forbidden and really dumb of them. He is always there to help.

What always gives me goosebumps is the last few chapters in Vyrad where all the heirs, even Karl Phillip and Marie Lousie, defend Dracula together.

No one will understand this rambling but this books and characters are everything to me!

This piece of fiction is everything I want and more, my little piece of paradise and I am so happy to have found it, because my life would be so much sadder without it..

The couples in die Erben der Nacht are so iconic. Because we have our three main couples (Alisa/Franz Leopold, Clarissa/Luciano and Latona/Malcolm) who are drowning in angst and then there are Chiara/Sören and Rowena/Mervyn living their fluffy romcom plot.
