I don't begrudge anyone their campaign preferences, and I think there's plenty of valid reasons to like Campaign 3 the best and this is not directed at people who are genuinely having a great time with it, but it feels like virtually all the nostalgia and wishful thinking I see surrounding Campaign 3 is screaming "you guys want Campaign 2." You want more slow travel and downtime and interparty conversations and slow-burn romance? You wish their main focus was fighting governmental corruption? You want a party that only semi-settles down at the end and keeps adventuring and remains very close? You're frustrated by how everpresent and overarching the moon plot is? You miss when they were just fucking around in a city? I genuinely believe you want Campaign 2, or at best you love a specific ship or a character from Campaign 3 but aren't happy about basically anything else, and would vastly prefer the tone and events and plot of Campaign 2. And I don't really care if you watch Campaign 2, or if you think I'm being annoying here; I simply genuinely believe you'd be happier watching Campaign 2 than Campaign 3 and are so deep in a sunk cost fallacy well you can't see it.

i do enjoy kdramas for the shameless romance, of course, but actually most of my favorite OTPs are the platonic ones. ji eun tak and the reaper. hong seol and baek in ho. lee rang and ki yu ri. lee rang and lee yeon. lee eun bi and gong tae kwang. hae soo and baek ah. kim moo chan and kwon seok-joo. i do recognize that a lot of this is second lead syndrome at work and also homoerotic tension, but i do love how the way that kdramas are structured means that all the relationships are fully fleshed out, which lets my personal gravitation toward supporting characters get free rein.

I tend to agree that the thing about sean trying to kiss laszlo was probably just a thing said to appeal to The Gays (though I honestly wouldn't NOT believe it with this show ahaha) but!!! MAYBE laszlo is just manifesting with all his might ;D

it's even funnier if you remember how he hypnotized sean like "you won't remember any of how YOU TRIED TO SEDUCE ME" because again with this show there's a chance he just really convinced himself sean is the instigator of smooches and I find that hilarious, idk

Ada considered children briefly but ultimately she didn’t want to pass on the burden of legacy that is inheriting Cackle’s. Hecate has no interest in motherhood. They do both find however that there is something wonderful in meeting and educating the children of their former pupils. Hecate is a little miffed though that her intimidation doesn’t work when some of the girls have seen her at Yuletide doing cute magic tricks to make them giggle as toddlers.

Hen and Karen ;). Hen and Karen are both SO intelligent. Hen knows so much about various topics and Karen is a literal rocket scientist. They do find it funny when Denny starts school that they expected Hen to be a little more chill about his development since she’s less hyper focused on one topic but they find it’s Karen that stresses less about his progress. Not that she isn’t serious about it because she is but when he falls a little bit behind in math in the third grade and Hen is researching tutors and STEM camps, Karen just calmly takes some extra time with him to catch up.
