Reminder that Kevin McCallister’s parents were terrible. Not only did they forget their child in the first one, but in the second one, they didn’t keep track of him in the airport? Idk about anyone else, but my mother would’ve had me by the back of the jacket and not let me out of her SIGHT until my ass was buckled in on the plane and there would’ve been NO repeat experience. 

Also, it’s clear Kevin is the scapegoat child in that family’s awful setup, but idk how he never brought up “last year” when his brother bullied him in the beginning of Lost in New York. Mom banishes him to that 3rd floor and comes to give him that talk but when she says “I remember this happened before” he doesn’t reply with “you mean when you LEFT ME? Gonna do that AGAIN?”

If it happened to me? Personally, I would never have let my family rest. If it had been my little sister, she would have brought it up any time she wasn’t going to get her way. My older sisters would have been using it happening to one of the younger ones to guilt our parents into whatever they pleased. If our parents had ever been so BAD AT BEING PARENTS, they would’ve spent a lot of time making it up. But Kevin’s getting screamed at as a gag as the final line of both movies?
