favorite season: 2. I feel such joy every time I watch it. Every time I see it, it feels like I am 11 again and experiencing it all again. There's just a... happy, sunshine vibe in season 2.

It will always blow my mind that a show/movie/book which very realistically set a situation of control and abuse and showed a character getting away from it and growing can destroy all its work and efforts in the end by demonizing the victim and/or forgiving/finding excuses to the abuser.

top 5 least favorite violetta characters?

5 - Matias. Listen, the LaFontaine siblings can be fun. They have made me laugh. But they always take up screentime I wish we could have used for other characters, especially in the later seasons. I would have put Jade here, if it weren’t for the fact that as soon as Matias left Jade, her life immediately got better??? She met a new man who got her a job and helped her, and she learned how to become a better person. Matias was always a little weird. He could be fun, especially when he just randomly danced or sang to himself, but he’s also quite weird and he has a handcuffs kink which i’m not sure should fit right in a kids show

4 - Milton. Never got his goal. He went to the best performing arts school in the city and decided to ruin it? For what? To open his own school that we never heard him do? I don’t… what??

3 - That cello girl who had a crush on Maxi in season 1. Remember her?? Maxi had a bunch of love interests in season 1 and the cello girl was probably my least favorite. She both confused the heck out of Maxi and used Andres, too. Did not like her.

2 - Priscila. Manipulative psycho. I bet she’s homophobic too, I mean look at how she treats Natalia. She does things like locking her daughter inside her room. Pushing her stepdaughter down the stairs. Tries to put a poisionous spider in Angie’s car… i’m actually glad we didn’t know what exactly happened to her. We just know that she’s going to a place to get help. The only good thing about her is that you can analyse how she acts in front of different people, and how they react. Like when she yells at Ludmila and then afterwards uses her nice voice, Ludmila looks scared and unsure, while when she does the same on Violetta, Violetta just looks confused and feels like something is wrong. She also got other people closer to each other. She had a purpose to be here, as much as I hate her. Which is more than I can say for the one on the number 1 spot.

1 - Gery. What was her purpose, really? Whatever it was, she sucked at it. I have this headcanon that she’s actually a year younger than the rest, simply because she just always seems like she wants to prove herself on their level, or something. Leon friendzoned her early on and she didn’t accept it. She also feels gay and homophobic at the same time??
