Character Masterlist
more links and characters to be added as necessary. currently a WIP. under a read-more because this covers multiple canons, it's gonna get long
link to baldur's gate masterlist
canon: the darkest hearts aren't bulletproof
(my kotor canon is aligned with start a war, and my Revan and Exile are the ones to feature in that continuity)
Revan Adarii, alias Mica Kasra, whose myriad titles no longer entirely suit her well. A human, she spent her twenties in the midst of war, three hundred years in stasis, and her thirties in an attempt to kill Vitiate a final time - and rescue Alek, her partner.
Mireya Surik, the Jedi Exile and savior of the Order. A human, she helped rebuild the Jedi Order even after her exile, and she helped to orchestrate Revan's rescue on Dromund Kaas and the subsequent attack on Vitiate that left her dead. she has spent three hundred years haunting the man who killed her.
canon: start a war
(combined canon with @spyscrapper)
MAIN:
J'lima Akarr, former Jedi Battlemaster and second-in-command of the Eternal Alliance. a zabrak, she is one half of a singularly powerful Force Dyad, alongside Lia Vhoss, the Eternal Commander.
Riali Enaran, Barsen'thor of the Jedi Order and master healer. a mirialan, she is one of most gifted Jedi healers of her era, though her skills are focused on healing and little else.
Itharil Enaran, former CO of Havoc Squad and current officer of the Imperial SpecOps unit known as Blackout Squad. a mirialan, she's a fierce fighter whose loyalty to the Republic was shattered on Belsavis.
Rheja na'Korriz, Darth Occlus and head of the Sphere of Defense of the Empire. a human, she is Darth Marr's former apprentice, trained as a Sith from early childhood and fiercely devoted to Sith honor.
Jana Vassi, Darth Nox, head of the Sphere of Ancient Knowledge and one of two reigning Sith Empresses. a human, she was sold into slavery as a toddler and was only freed when her incredible strength in the Force broke through, but she embraces the power of the Sith eagerly and without hesitation.
Tharel'elshe'reth (Elshe'reth as an agent of the Csilla Secret Police), Cipher Nine. a chiss, she joined the CSP at fourteen and quickly became one of their best agents, and she is one of the best intelligence operatives alive following her time in the Empire.
SIDE:
Nashar Daru, Darth Malgus' daughter and former apprentice, Revanite. half twi'lek, Nashar was trained harshly by her father, coming to resent him even as her power grew, and she gladly joins Darth Arkous when he reveals her long-lost twin sister.
Toqar Miren, Rheja's long-standing bodyguard and periodic romantic partner. a twi'lek with a distinctive half-missing lek, they are a determined Sith of middling power but intense loyalty and skill, currently aligned with the Sphere of Defense.
Khisren Adarii, a struggling Jedi with incredible power and a terrible legacy. a human, she lost a master to the Sith and spent months on Korriban that left her corrupted when she escaped, and she is hiding in an Outer Rim enclave to avoid Council scrutiny.
Onnara Madaras, a heretic Jedi from a strange and isolated splinter faction. a miraluka, she was raised to follow the will of the Force before anything else, which leads her to Odessen and eventually to Arcann, the former Eternal Emperor.
canon: this race is a prophecy
(solo canon)
link to prophecy canon masterlist
canon: hold the hand of the god-child
(shared canon with @spyscrapper)
Ri'en Aruk, Darth Imperius and head of the Sphere of Ancient Mysteries. a human, he was born a slave in a long line of slaves, and though he is Sith, he is considered a heretic by some for his philosophy and actions.
Kedu Iskejarim, bounty hunter and freelancer. a Sith pureblood, Kedu was trained on Korriban and became a lord before he was forced to flee Dromund Kaas and go into hiding, and his career as a bounty hunter is an excellent cover for a supposedly-dead Sith Lord.
Mirjal Dhey, Barsen'thor of the Jedi Order, Jedi Master, and Revanite. a togruta, she is a Cinnagar native initiated into the Krath at a young age, and even after the Jedi took her to train, her loyalty remains to Teta and Yavin.
Veke Dranth, CO of Havoc Squad and Child of the Emperor. a rattataki, she believes herself a loyal servant of the Republic and has always sought to advance its interests, though her unknowing true objectives are far more sinister.
canon: the righteous hand of god, the devil you forgot
(shared canon with @spyscrapper and @sith-shenanigans)
Anexi Karaala, former Jedi knight and Jen'ari of the Sith Empire. a zabrak, she took Vitiate's throne after killing him and attempts to rule a resistant empire with Lord Scourge at her side.
Ashakaar, former Barsen'thor of the Jedi Order. a pureblood Sith born with vestigial eyes, they were raised under Republic laws that disallowed them to learn about their own culture and species - and when they discover their connection to Darth Marr, they eagerly join the Empire for a chance to be a part of a family and a culture they long thought lost to them.
Noar'e, the former Cipher Nine. a twi'lek, she was raised on Nar Shaddaa and picked up by the Empire at seventeen, given a choice between death, Shadowtown, and Imperial Intelligence. she eventually erases herself from all records and joins Darth Nox's personal intelligence network.
canon: this is the road to ruin
(shared canon with @spyscrapper)
Thassil Adull, the Barsen'thor. a nautolan, she and her twin sister grow up the prodigies of the Jedi Order - but she struggles to live up to those expectations, and her connection with the future Emperor's Wrath, Vonyra Dozai, only conflicts her even more.
Velen Chall, Darth Anan. a human-rattataki hybrid, sie was rescued from Belsavis as a child and raised to be the perfect Cipher, until sir Force-sensitivity breaks through and sie takes the Dark Council seat for the Sphere of Intelligence in the wake of its collapse.
Ryora N'e, CO of Havoc Squad. a twi'lek, she was born on Tython and enlisted when her Force-sensitivity showed to avoid the Jedi, and she now loyally serves the Republic.
Sale'dah Suai, the Voidwolf. a twi'lek, eir career as a Republic privateer has brought em to the attention of the criminal underbelly of the galaxy, and eir reigning title as pirate king has only boosted eir reputation.

18 and 19 + Elshe'reth for the ask game
oh this is a fun one. Elshe'reth is one of two agents in the start a war canon, an Imperial loyalist and devoted servant of the Chiss Ascendancy - and someone who will cross any line to achieve her goal.
18. How does your oc see themself? How does this compare to the way other ocs see them?
Elshe'reth largely sees herself as one of the best spies alive. it's not an ego thing for her; she knows exactly how skilled she is, and she needs to know to make accurate assessments of missions and opponents. she thinks about herself in terms of skill and capabilities, because that's been her entire life since she was fourteen. she never sees the necessity in making room for anything else.
the only people who really see her as an actual person and not an agent are her family members. Riisa is first and foremost as her longterm partner, and even when they're broken up, Riisa still sees her as Elshe'reth and not Cipher Nine, which isn't something Elshe'reth can reconcile at the time. it's her daughter's birth that really helps her be less of a weapon and more of a person.
19. How would an enemy describe this oc?
Cipher Nine is a legend used to terrify SIS recruits. most of the galaxy doesn't know she exists, and the ones that do know next to nothing about her. if Cipher Nine is sent after you, you don't survive. she's a shadow at the corner of a room, a knife gleaming in the dark. make one misstep, and she's there waiting.

SWTOR character masterlist
canon: start a war (with @revanchxst)
J'lima Akarr, Jedi Master + second-in-command of the Eternal Alliance
J'lima is my knight and possibly my favorite character ever. Orgus Din's padawan, and 21 at the beginning of the class story, she and Lia (revanchxst's knight), queerplatonic partners and inseparable friends, are left with the daunting task of saving the galaxy - and then killing the Emperor. during the final hunt for Vitiate after breaking his mind control, she becomes close and eventually falls in love with Lord Scourge, though she doesn't act on these feelings for years. captured along with Lia and frozen in carbonite - though without Vitiate in her head - she is unfrozen more than three years later and sent to fight as a gladiator for the Eternal Empire. freed by the Alliance a short time before Lia, she helps her best friend run the Alliance. along with Lia, pretty much the main character of start a war, though of course the other characters are important. i love her more than life itself.
Riali Enaran, Barsen'thor + Jedi Master
Riali is almost the youngest in this canon, nineteen when her storyline begins. an incredibly gifted healer and strong with the Force, she is Master Yuon's padawan, and after her master falls ill she shields her and every other afflicted Jedi - including her friend and somewhat-mentor Vreila. she is made Barsen'thor for her efforts in shielding all the afflicted Jedi including Vivicar. for a number of reasons, including her young age and enormous lack of combat skills (along with her unfailing and uncompromising Light), she is not made a diplomat but instead serves as one of the Order's best healers. she avoids fighting whenever possible and hates violence and injury, and has never and will never be tempted by the Dark Side. during the war with Zakuul, she serves as a healer, and joins the Alliance as a Jedi in the effort to do the most amount of good wherever she can, returning to the Order after Lia takes command of the Eternal Throne.
Itharil Enaran, Commander of Havoc Squad
after Kal and the rest of Havoc Squad defect to the Empire, Itharil is given command of Havoc's second iteration. she hunts down the traitors wherever she can - but her plans are thwarted more and more frequently by Kal and Blackout Squad, and her fervor for the Republic dims with every mistake she's sent to clean up. Belsavis is the last straw; after freeing the pilots she was sent for and once more witnessing high command's betrayal of its own, she takes the squadron, abandons her mission, and finds the nearest Imperial base (and Kal) in order to defect. she takes with her Sergeant Jaxo, her girlfriend, and Jonas Balker, her sort-of boyfriend at the time, and within a few months, Aric Jorgan - her ex - joins them all in the Empire. there is an extremely complicated absolutely awful polycule that they're all involved in which can be viewed on revanchxst's pinned masterpost and which i'm not copying here due to image limitations. she's terrible but her arc, especially as a contrast to the agents, is absolutely fascinating. she hates the Jedi, as she thinks they stole her younger sister, and this only adds fuel to her defection.
Rheja Vassi, Darth Occlus + Head of the Sphere of Defense of the Empire
taken from her family at eight to train in an elite Sith Academy, Rheja was sent to Korriban at seventeen and, four years later, prepared to become Darth Baras' apprentice until he chose a young acolyte while she was completing an offworld trial. impressed with her skilled defense of a group of Imperial civilians and scientists, despite the danger she risked, Darth Marr himself took an interest in Rheja and made her his apprentice. more than willing to use the Dark Side but honorable and with a moral code, Rheja is far from a typical Sith, but she remains dedicated to the Empire and wholly loyal to Darth Marr. following his defeat on Zakuul and subsequent disappearance, Rheja takes up the mantle of Darth Occlus and succeeds her former master as head of the sphere. her close ally, bodyguard, and eventual girlfriend Toqar Miren (transfemme nb, they/them) stays with her through all of this, and during the Alliance years, Major Anri is added to their relationship. Rheja spends years searching for her younger half-sister, who was sold into slavery when she was two and Rheja was four, but without anything but the name Jana to go off of, it takes a long time to find out that her sister was not only sent to Korriban, but is currently sitting on the Dark Council as Darth Nox. she begins using Jana's surname during this time, as neither of them had one before arriving on Korriban.
Jana Vassi, Lord Kallig + Darth Nox
the canon inquisitor of this timeline, Jana was taken from her mother and sold into slavery when she was two. raised as a house slave until well into her teens, her latent and incredibly powerful Force-sensitivity was discovered by a passing Sith when she touched the woman's lightsaber and was rendered nearly unconscious by the resulting visions (both she and her sister have psychometry, which though rare is not unheard of in the Sith). after that, she is taken to Korriban and trained in the ways of the Sith - where she discovers that the planet itself almost calls to her, and where she uncovers her own affinity for long-forgotten tombs. after being taken as Zash's apprentice, subsequently uncovering her master's betrayal, and consuming far more ghosts than was strictly wise, she is elevated to Lord Kallig - and, upon Thanaton's disastrous forfeit of the kaggath, named Darth Nox. denied her revenge by Darth Aedis' scheming and Thanaton's resulting exile, the two women become bitter rivals before eventually realizing their common goals. eventually, after some time, she and her husband Andronikos end up in a polyamorous relationship with Avaanla. one of the most powerful Force-sensitives alive even before the ghosts, she is now rivaled by only a handful of people, though luckily for them, her ambitions often lie more in tombs than with the living.
Tharel'elshe'reth, Cipher Nine
loyal to the death to the Chiss Ascendancy, Tharel'elshe'reth - who, like all Chiss in the Csilla Secret Police, gave up her family name and loyalties to become Elshe'reth - joined the CSP at fourteen and soon became one of their best agents, despite her young age. partnered with Averr'iis'aloh during their years there, the two became romantically involved. while on Copero, Elshe'reth and Riisa uncovered a relic that should have remained hidden and were subsequently sent to the Empire. Elshe'reth immediately throws herself into her work with the same fervor as she did for the Ascendancy, and when she's named Cipher Nine, she becomes the title, leaving behind every shred of humanity (so to speak) that she can. her subsequent falling-out with Riisa and an undercover mission for information leads her into an affair with Grand Moff Kilran, and though feelings are far from involved (and though Kilran ends up dead, unrelatedly, not too long later), Elshe'reth ends up with a daughter, Tharel'ilen'ier (Elileni), whom she keeps a secret from the entire Empire, including her onetime partner. after the rise of Zakuul, Elshe'reth sends her daughter - one of the two people in the galaxy she would place above her duty - to Csilla and House Miurani and throws herself into fighting the Eternal Empire from the shadows. she joins the Alliance three years later, reunites with her daughter, and serves them. when Riisa is discovered to be a traitor, Elshe'reth has a series of uncomfortable realizations and rescues her from Korriban - and, after some time and many years of subterfuge to make up for, the pair end up in a relationship and raise their family together.

5 on the three characters thing: elshe’reth rheja jana go!
ohhhh boy that is a lineup wow. elshe'reth for the zombie apocalypse team because she wouldn't fry me if she got annoyed and she's ridiculously resourceful and would just quietly kill anyone who got in the way. i'd probably betray jana and kill rheja (i'm sorry ily) just because jana is powerful and she has been known to spare people who betray her if they're useful, but rheja is just. a reasonably strong sith.

Tharel'elshe'reth
fourteen when she joined the Csilla Secret Police, Elshe'reth - who, like most agents, gave up her family name to prove her loyalty to the Ascendancy alone - has had years of practice putting her emotions to the side to perform her duty. if it serves her goals, there is almost nothing she will not do. that matched with her extraordinary skills as an operative has made her one of the most dangerous agents alive.
when her partner's latent Force-sensitivity is discovered by the Ascendancy, Elshe'reth joins her in the Empire. she is named Cipher Nine (her partner Riisa becoming Cipher Eight) and she falls hard into her new identity. while undercover investigating Grand Moff Kilran, Elshe'reth seduces him for information and begins a relationship that ends with Kilran's death aboard the Maelstrom and leaves Elshe'reth with a child, Tharel'ilen'ier. while Elshe'reth continues her work, Elileni is raised among House Miurani in the Chiss Ascendancy until the Alliance era, when Elshe'reth joins Alliance Intelligence and brings Elileni to Odessen.
Elshe'reth and Riisa are eventually reconciled after Elshe'reth rescues Riisa from Darth Aedis' stronghold on Korriban following Riisa being exposed as a traitor and Republic spy. the two of them reenter a romantic relationship, and despite their differing former loyalties - Elshe'reth being an Imperial loyalist - they both work together under Theron Shan, the Alliance's spymaster.
