Waarom documentatie belangrijk is:
● Dien uw aanvraag in.
Volgende stappen

Suggestions for a body swap story? They seem harder to write
Body-Swapping Stories: I Understand You In A Particular Way
The high-concept of a body swap story is versatile, with endless possibilities. The main factors of a body-swapping plot would typically be comprised of:
Two people whose souls are being interchanged (the catalyst)
Awkward/funny/dangerous things they encounter by living the life of the other person (main premise of the story)
A resolution brought about through insight gained by the protagonist about the other person’s perspective/secrets, with a promise to act differently once they’re returned to their original body. (the moral of the story)
Why are body-swapping stories appealing? Among many reasons, the central premise of such a story is to address the theme of: how much do we really know about others?
As souls living in one body only, we encounter problems due to our lack of understanding about others around us, including external conflict, jealousy, misunderstanding, etc. It is a universal human experience to be curious about what’s in another person’s head and want to be somebody else sometimes.
By forcing the protagonist to experience “thinking inside another person’s shoes” in the literal sense, body-swapping stories tend to be versions of the characters growing up by breaking out of their old worldview to widen their intellectual horizons.
Here is a list of common story components and patterns for a body-swapping story.
A Body Swapping Mechanism
The body swap happens out of the blue as a one-time occurrence: a lightning strike, electric shock, supermoon, weird potion, etc. In this case, not much justification is required as there is no magical system or follow-up about why this happens.
A higher power conducts the body swap: a fairy, a disgruntled God trying to teach a lesson, a reputable couple therapist, etc. The rationale here is that this higher power is trying to redeem/punish the protagonists.
One character actively wishes to have their body swapped: the school nerd who envies the prom queen, a daughter who wants to be a grown-up, a poor man wanting to be the rich man next door, etc.
A character has the ability to “infiltrate” other people’s bodies. They use this ability in an attempt to solve a mystery, espionage, disguise a murder, etc.
Only “destined pairs” can swap bodies. In this case, a bit of justification/worldbuilding would be good to convince the readers how these people are paired (bloodline, soulmates?).
Body swaps are conducted through a specific ritual or potion. This can be a candles-and-pentagon type, a magical notebook, a specific dance, etc.
Body swaps are common in the story world, and everybody (with certification/practice/of age) can use this ability.
The character(s) do something wrong which sets the swap in motion.
The Relationship Between Two (or more) People Getting Swapped
Relationships with long-standing misunderstanding: busy parent & unhappen child; couples on the brink of breakup; siblings with beef; strict teacher & irresponsible student, etc.
In a romantic arc, a potential couple who are now going to fall in love as a result of this body swap
A human and an animal/supernatural creature
Enemy relationships: the head of rival companies; a murderer and his victim, etc.
If you have a magic system, your choice of people would depend on what the magic system dictates. Ask the question: is this someone my protagonist must learn about?
Things to Explore
Protagonist(s) exploring each other’s bodies
Them arguing over how the other person should/shouldn’t use their bodies
Them trying to keep secrets from each other.
Them teaching the other person about how they should/shouldn’t act so that the body swap goes unnoticed by others around them.
Them snooping around each other’s lives and secrets without the other knowing.
Them trying crazy stuff they’ve always wanted to do but couldn’t due to physical constraints.
The Purpose of the Body Swap
Providing the entrance into a new (fantasy) world. Ex) Human swapping bodies with a witch, forcing them to learn about the secret society of magicians.
Teaching the protagonist a hard-earned lesson. Ex) An ungrateful child gets to live a day in the life of her mother which humbles her.
To resolve a long-standing (romantic) conflict.
To provide a tool for crime, with unexpected consequences.
Interesting Ideas
Writing these here just because I can.
The Living Realm and the Dead Realm are like parallel universes. When someone meets an untimely death, their body gets swapped with their doppelganger in the parallel universe.
The protagonists are living in two separate story worlds. The author who’s in charge of writing stories for them is highly indecisive and keeps switching protagonists mid-story.
The protagonist and her friend swapped bodies to cheat in an exam. But the protagonist’s friend dies – in the protagonist’s body.
A magical agency offering to swap bodies for trans people who wish to have the body of the opposite sex. But their services come with a huge price tag…
Hope this helps <3 Let me know if you guys have more questions/ other ideas/ helpful resources below in the comments!

Damien quotes that make me wish he was a real world leader
“There’s no place for that kind of abuse anywhere, least of all in a place of education, one that acts as the arbiter of attaining certifications that dictate the course of the rest of your life!”
“Those are antiquated bullshit regulations that come from a time when you could handwave acts of assault with the magical equivalent of “boys will be boys”, and it’s wrong, and it needs to change. Now.”
“it’s easy to think that a place is inclusive when you’re already in the served majority. It’s easy to think that a system is responsive when it’s responsive to your concerns and needs. I don’t fault people for not seeing the cracks in the system at first glance. But I do fault them for willfully continuing to ignore them when they’re brought up just because those cracks are too small for them to fall through.”
“I want to get enough power to make this place listen to the people they don’t want to hear. I want to make a space to elevate those people so that they’ll be heard and their concerns will be addressed.”
“If the rules state that that’s all that can be done… then that has to be enough. Until the rules can be changed.”
“I’m not gonna rest on my laurels and say “well at least I started a petition, claps for me” and move about my day. That’s performative and it’s bullshit.”
“This is wrong. And there’s a lot of shit in this world that’s wrong that we can’t do much about, but this literally goes against the codes of conduct that this place loves to wave like some flag of superiority while they preach about tolerance. We can do something about this. We need to. It’s wrong. We’ll run it up as high as it needs to go to get something done—“
“I’ve railed against this Academy’s bullshit since damn near the day I stepped foot on campus. I know it’s fucking exhausting. And draining. And most of the time it feels like you’re screaming at a wall. But I’ve gotten pretty good at screaming at walls.”

After seeing your weatherbugapp reblog i installed duckduckgo and tried it.
I don't know much about technology tbh but i downloaded this app less than 30 mins ago and in that time google tried to track me 112 times?? And they tried to collect finger prints? And my first and last name? And my gender? And my country, state and city? My gps coordinates? My postal code? My network carrier? My fricking battery level for whatever reason? Can you please tell me if this is normal at all, because i'm freaking out right now. I just turned 18 and started using mobile banking and stuff and this shit scares me
Why tf does it need to know my screen density???my system volume????my charging status????? What tf are they cooking
Now it's at 476 tracking attempts bro???? barely 5 mins passed.....
I condensed your three asks into one for readability!
And yeah, I'm very far from an expert about any of this, but as far as I know that's just. Normal. That's the normal amount of spying they're doing on your phone. I assume the numbers we see are to some extent because having been foiled, a lot of these scripts try repeatedly, since I can't imagine what use thousands of trackers per phone would be even to the great aggregators.
Tracking the phone stuff like screen resolution and battery level is because (apart from that definitely not being considered remotely 'private' so it's Free Real Estate) in aggregate that data can be used to track what phone use patterns are like on a demographic scale and therefore. Where the smart money is.
Almost all of this is getting sold in bulk for ad targeting and market analysis. This does presumably make it very hard to notice when like. Actually important stuff is being spied on, which is why I feel better about Having Apps with the duckduckgo app blocker thing.
My bank's app reportedly sells data to a couple aggregators including Google. Not like, my banking info, but it's still so offensive on principle that I avoid using the app unless I have to, and force stop it afterward.
The patterns that show up on the weekly duckduckgo blocker report are interesting. Hoopla attempts about two orders of magnitude more tracking than Libby, which makes sense because they're a commercial streaming service libraries pay by the unit for access, while Libby is a content management software run by a corporation that values its certification as a 'B' company--that is, one invested in the public good that can be trusted. The cleanness of their brand is a great deal of its value, so they have to care about their image and be a little more scrupulous.
Which doesn't mean not being a little bit spyware, because everything is spyware now. Something else I've noticed is that in terms of free game apps, the polished professional stuff is now much more invasive than the random kinda janky thing someone just threw together.
Back in the day you tended to expect the opposite, because spyware was a marginal shifty profit-margin with too narrow a revenue stream to be worth more to an established brand than their reputation, but now that everyone does it there's not a lot of reputation cost and refraining would be sacrificing a potential revenue stream, which is Irresponsible Conduct for a corporation.
While meanwhile 'developing a free game app to put on the game store' is something a person can do for free with the hardware they already have for home use, as a hobby or practice or to put on their coding resume. So while such apps absolutely can be malicious and more dangerous when they are than The Big Brand, they can also be neutral in a way commercial stuff no longer is. Wild world.
But yeah for the most part as far as I can make out, these are just The Commercial Panopticon, operating as intended. It's gross but it probably doesn't indicate anything dangerous on an individual level.

If, as Isaac West observes, use of the public bathroom is “one of the most, if not the most, quotidian practices of citizenship,” then this chapter argues that surveillance criminalizing public bathroom use is one element of a larger effort to secure citizenship and spatial belonging through the apprehension of physical difference. [...]
Writing about the concept of civilization in the late nineteenth-century United States, Gail Bederman describes it as an “explicitly racial concept” that “denoted a precise stage in human racial evolution”: one that had evolved past primitive or barbaric characteristics. Drawing on Darwinism, this logic rationalized white supremacy through claims that people of color simply had not developed in the same ways or at the same rate as white people, situating civilization itself as a racial characteristic and producing and solidifying distinct racial categories. Bederman notes that gender was crucial in distinguishing civilized societies from the less advanced, with the former identified in part by clear binary gender divisions. [...] Moreover, in the era of formal Jim Crow, while bathrooms marked for white people were typically separated into men’s and women’s spaces, those labeled “colored” were often unmarked by gender at all, a practice that aligns with civilizational discourse. [...]
Yet citizenship status and gender status cannot be pulled apart [...]: just as the previous two chapters of this book traced specific aspects of the Department of Homeland Security that produce and rely on a gendered citizenship, we might consider how campaigns for neighborhood safety and family values regularly invoke a kind of good citizenship that is determined in part through gender attributes. [...]
We need only consider the emphasis on birth certificates to understand the extent to which anxieties about citizenship undergird these bathroom scenes, since those documents mark not only state-approved sex designation, but also legal citizen status. In the most formal sense, birth certificates purportedly confirm citizenship and thus one’s legal belonging to the nation-state. At the same time, they can serve as evidence of citizenship in a more informal or cultural sense: if producing appropriate paperwork is one way of complying with state regulations and requests, then doing so performs good citizenship. [...]
Discourses of bathroom contagion merge fears of “real germs” with “the fear of the other”; hence, public toilets provoke more anxiety than other germ-riddled public objects like computer terminals and doorknobs. Concerns about bathroom cleanliness are as much about bodily interactions and the difficulty of regulating public space as they are about actual dirt or waste. The racial integration of some U.S. workplaces during World War II, for example, prompted tremendous white anxiety about shared bathrooms, even as Black people had long cleaned toilets and beds, prepared food, and cared for children as part of their domestic work in white households. But this “private service work reinforced racialized gender hierarchies in ways that public intimacy undermined them.”
— Toby Beauchamp (2019), Going Stealth: Transgender Politics and US Surveillance Practices, pp. 81 - 101
In his book, Beauchamp argues that anti-trans bathroom bills should be understood as a form of state surveillance that is inextricable from anti-immigration and border security practices: these bills deputize members of the public to conduct bodily assessments of other people to determine whether they meet the criteria of a 'good citizen,' giving them the power to report 'fraudsters' to the authorities if a transgender person is found inhabiting a public bathroom. The criteria by which these assessments are conducted are explicitly white supremacist ones; not only because the imagined body of the 'good citizen' is one that reflects the ideals of white, bourgeois, cissexual bodies* (as clearly demarcated, binary gender roles is a sign of advanced white civilization, and perversion of these demarcations is a perversion of white civil life), but also because one of the primary forms of evidence that you belong in a gender-segregated public space (such as a bathroom) is a birth certificate, one issued by the state - as he says: "if producing appropriate paperwork is one way of complying with state regulations and requests, then doing so performs good citizenship." (p 93). Beauchamp criticizes the framing that trans people are treated like "second class citizens," as it accepts the white racial imaginary of (white) trans people being unfairly denied the benefits of full white citizenship; we should therefore understand gender segregated spaces not as a "remix" of "old" "historic" forms of racial segregation, but as a contemporary enforcement mechanism of it. Binaohan emphasizes this in their 2014 book Decolonizing Trans/Gender 101, arguing that non-white trans people are always "in public," denied any sort of private realm; they are always visible and marked as potential threats to white citizenship. (p. 39)
This is likewise reflected in Jenny Evang's 2022 work Is Gender Ideology Western Colonialism?, where she argues that anti-trans discourse situates the presumed natural state of 'sex' as being corrupted by an overly decadent form of Western cultural advancement, which is both degenerating the Western world and 'duping' the Global South into forsaking their relationship with nature, an argument that "[frames] “non-Western societies” as “more traditional” when it comes to gender, sexuality, and the family, since “gender ideology” has not yet gone as far there as in the West. Thus their argument relies on essentializing the very same conceptualization of “cultural difference” that structures femonationalist arguments in the first place, namely, that racialized, imagined elsewheres are stuck in a more traditional gender pattern, unable to keep up with the rampant development of the West." (p. 370). Locating the origin of transgenderism in the West reproduces notions of civilizational development, where the West is secure in its supreme cultural position but has merely gone "too far," "in the wrong direction," creating the circumstances of its own downfall - a downfall which is attributed both to mass immigration (particularly immigration of Muslims) and Marxism. (p. 372)
Fears of 'gender ideology' engulfing the Western world are inextricable from concerns about the maintenance of white social hygiene, as 'gender ideology' has been called "Ebola from Brussels" (p. 371), linking the corruption of binary, hierarchical, cissexual gender to a disease afflicting the body-politic of the white nation-state. The last paragraph of the quoted passage above from Beauchamp further demonstrates the fundamental interconnectedness between race, gender, and hygiene: The racial integration of some U.S. workplaces during World War II, for example, prompted tremendous white anxiety about shared bathrooms, even as Black people had long cleaned toilets and beds, prepared food, and cared for children as part of their domestic work in white households. But this private service work reinforced racialized gender hierarchies in ways that public intimacy undermined them." (p. 101) Discourses regarding public hygiene are civilizational discourses, as a clean world is a civilized world, and a civilized world can only be a white world.
*Beauchamp explicitly brings up that one of the 'problems' of using biometric data to scan the public for potential terrorists or 'fraudulent citizens' is the white inability to tell the difference between people belonging to different racial groups, i.e., the idea that all non-white people look too much alike and therefore must undergo even more intense scrutiny (p. 95).

I have been seeing this meme going around and I want to clear some things up with it. 1. E9 is NOT the highest rank in the Army, but it is the highest enlisted rank. Now even though Walz was in a sergeant major role he retired as a master sergeant because he had not completed the requirements of a command sergeant major academy. 2. Sargent Major is a rank but he would have held a different MOS where 13B – a cannon crewmember 13Z -field artillery senior sergeant 11Z—infantry senior sergeant 71L—administrative specialist. 3. Vance's awards are not all listed here and a number of them are the Navy / USMC corresponding awards to the Army. To include: USMC Good Conduct Medal Navy / USMC Achievement Medal Iraq Campaign Medal Sea Service - Deployment Ribbon Global War on Terror Service Medal National Defence Service Medal Letter of Appreciation (5) Meritorius Mast Certificate Expert Rifle (2) Expert Pistol MOS 4341 Combat Correspondent 4. Vance's DD214 is under the name Hamel, which he legally changed to Vance. As stated in his autobiography.
Here is the thing, for 4 years of service Vance has done a lot. I know some that did 2 years and got out to do better things, some come back some don't. I have been in service for almost 21 years, and have seen all types. I don't care if your service was 42 years (mandatory retirement is 60 years old) or if you served 2 years. If your service has been honorable and you did your job then that is all I ask of you.
A number of items would also be cleared up with Walz NGB22 the national guard version of a DD214. It would list rank, date of rank, schooling, awards (federal and state), qualification, etc. If he was placed on active duty as a National Guard soldier he would also have a DD214 for that time. I know this because my record has 6 DD214's from my service.

File Name: The Hecate Project
Classification: Top Secret
Subject: 377
Background: Experiment #377, nicknamed Jungkook (Name provided on the birth certificate found in his chambers) is a classified research project initiated by the Cromwell Agency on September 1, 2023. The project is aimed at discovering the behaviors of this creature, the first hunted in almost two centuries, caught by the Cromwell Hunter Foundation.
The last subject, experiment #376, died due to the negligence of the hunters and scientists themselves.
The main objective of #377 is to find a way to make his DNA useful for operations under extreme and rigorous conditions. Including infiltration, night operations, and search for objects.
Among other objectives is the consideration of training the species for recruitment into the Cromwell Hunter Foundation.
Subject Profile
Code Name: Jungkook
Species: Homo Desmodus
Age: Appears in his 20s.
Physical characteristics: 5'10, aprox. 70kg, intensified senses, increased strength, agility, non-human flexibility, iris and cornea turn scarlet red after 6 o'clock.
Diet: Requires a minimum of 3.0 liters of human or animal blood to maintain physical abilities.
Intellectual Skills: Has the ability to communicate and understand two languages (Korean and English), knows how to read, write, and do basic mathematics.
Psychic abilities, such as controlling the mind. (On September 12, at 03:25 a.m., one of the scientists was found dead in the laboratory where 377 was located. The cameras show how a level 9 scientist, Göta Princeton, voluntarily takes the sedative given to Jungkook. The body was found by hunters Bronimir Ehmet and Máximo Felipe at 05:04 with 75% of its blood missing.
Additional Abilities: Can heal a wound of about 6.35mm in 1 second. Wounds that reach muscle or bone in 30 seconds. It can completely regenerate a limb in 36 hours.
Behaviors and conduct of the subject: The psychology department of the Cromwell Hunters has classified 377 as being quick to respond, conceited, and ribald (more notable towards the female sex). Good vocabulary and always looking for information. Aside from the incident with Dr. Göta Princeton, he has maintained good behavior when examined. Although, for precautionary reasons, he has been administered relaxants of about 20g every hour intramuscularly.
Security measures
Starting at dawn, the work area is kept under minimal light to reduce exposure and damage to the subject.
At least 6.5 liters of O-blood are required to be available in the area. For 377's diet and/or blood loss from one of the scientists.
To enter the subject's dome, an amount of about 25g of Lovatrim must first be administered and wait at least 45 minutes.
Note: Access to this file is restricted to personnel with Level 8 or higher security clearance. Unauthorized access will result in severe consequences.
Experiment #005 on Subject #377
Classification A
Background:
September 15, 2023. The Cromwell Hunter Foundation has chosen four candidates to do the seminal test. Two of the four candidates have died in the last 24 hours of entering the dome. One of the hunters refuses to enter, the last option has been trained for the project and has signed the assigned paperwork that gives Cromwell and Company complete autonomy in her decision to go inside the dome.
What appears on the following pages are the chronicles of the night of the 15th, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. The huntress meets 377 for the first time in the dome.
Jungkook's physical and mental behavior is different for the first time in the whole project. The eyes appear to be of a vibrant red.
For the first time we get a glance of the acicular canines.

The Highlander Exclusive: Oliver At 25
HRH Prince Oliver of the Scots, Duke of Rothsey has been seen more on the world stage recently with the news of his engagement to HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim (@empiredesimparte) and year abroad taking a certification course at the Ecole de Polytechnic in Paris with the French Army. Known as Gàrlach or Little Rouge by the family, let's look back on the future King's first 25 years.
Who is the Duke of Rothsey
Born Oliver Alexander David James on 15 May 1999 at St Mary's Hospital in Glasgow, Scots to the then Duke and Duchess of Rothsey. Oliver was the long awaited for child of the Scots-Pierreland Union and was the cause for national rejoicing as the next generation of the royal line was secured.
(Above: As a toddler, a photo taken on one of many visits to his Uncle in Pierreland by his future Aunt, Empress Katalina)
The young prince was given a very sheltered and quiet childhood, with his parents deciding to raise him alongside his paternal cousin for most of the year and then spending his summers with his maternal cousins.
(Above: Princes Oliver & Magnus as children at Gleanalmond Academy) Oliver attended the Co-Ed boarding school Gleanalmond Academy with his cousin, Prince Magnus of Argyll. There the Princes grew a close circle of friends filled with the children of other nobles and politicians, with the circle being known for it's vow of silence in terms of speaking about the young princes.
Little is known about his teenage love life, it is rumored that Prince Oliver had one serious girlfriend for a year who was introduced by a friend. However, his life and role changed on the death of his grandfather, King James XX.
(Above: The immediate Royal Family on the Coronation of Alexander III)
At the age of 15, Oliver became the heir to the throne and invested as the Duke of Rothsey. The young heir continued with his schooling and his summers with his Pierreland relations, where he enjoyed sailing with his Uncle David and playing music with his cousin Edmund.
(Above: Teenaged Prince Oliver boating on a summer trip with his Valois relations)
At 18, Prince Oliver attended the University of Saint Andrews, gaining a 4 year degree in Political Science before attending the Scots Military Academy (SMA) Officer Training Course. Upon finishing the course, he joined the Royal Household Cavalry Blues & Royals with his cousin Prince Magnus.
(Above: Prince Oliver graduating the SMA with his good friend Lord Callen MacDonald)
Prince Oliver also did a year of cross training with the Royal Navy & Royal Air Force, gaining his pilot's wings. Prince Oliver then took the suggestion of his Uncle David and signed up for certification course at the Ecole de Polytechnic.
Francesim Era
(Above: Oliver meeting HIM Napoleon IV in Versailles at the start of his time in Francesim)
Prince Oliver's time in Francesim was mainly spent at the Ecole Polytechnique, where he supposedly mainly spent time with the then Princess Hortense of Francesim. Oliver was often seen in the company of the young French beauty, the two often seen in the library together with the Prince helping with scientific concepts while the young Princess assisting the Scot with writing in the much more formal French prose. Prince Oliver was a pillar of strength to the Simparte siblings following the death of Napoleon IV. There are stills from the funeral where Oliver introduces Hortense to his parents, showing the strength of their relationship at that point.
After Francesim & Relationship with Hortense of Francesim
(Above: Oliver and Hortense attending events together such has the reception for the Wedding of Napoleon V & Empress Charlotte (left) as well as the Investiture of Crown Prince Louis of Pierreland (right)) The pair conducted much of their relationship over long distance, with the pair flying back and forth between Edinburgh & Paris to conduct engagements and support each other. This culminated in the pair announcing their engagement, with their wedding to take place after the Coronation of Napoleon V.
(Above: Never before seen image of Prince Oliver & Madame Hortense taken by a friend)
The pair is looking to split their time between Paris and Fort Collins, to fit with Oliver's military life and Hortense's continued studies post marriage.

Unveiling the evil agenda
What seemed like the aftermath of 9/11 which happened around 22 years ago, was a well-planned conspiracy. Intended false propaganda. A successful attempt to draw a clear picture of a terrorist in the eyes of the world. Torturing Muslim nations, hiding it ever so subtly under the guise of various uneven blames, then filming their resistance in the most brutal visuals and labeling it as terrorism. Every Muslim man who wore a skull cap, or sported a sunnah beard, every Muslim woman who wore a burqa or hijab or niqab was now a terrorist for mere choice of their clothing. Saying Allahu Akbar made people terrorists. Practicing Islam in public places made people terrorists. Revealing the Muslim identity and in fact, just existing as a Muslim made a person terrorist. Just because the USA painted 9/11 with a lie, that it was done by Muslims. Which in reality, was an attack launched by Israel; According to the US Army report. Ironically enough.
Now the world has memorized one lesson like a child memorizes rhymes. Every terrorist comes from Islam, even when the nations have gone through brutal oppression for ages for their faith are Muslims. In Uyghur, Sudan, Afghanistan, Kashmir, India, Palestine, Sri Lanka, France, Bosnia and the counting doesn't seem to cease. The world was made so Islamophobic by this propaganda so the real Terrorists would continue their assault and massacre smoothly while wearing "white" collars.
Today, with these videos surfacing we see, Jewish/Zionists/White supremacists/Racist people celebrating/chanting "Death to the Arabs" "Death to prophet Muhammad"
(NaudhuBiAllah) (ﷺ). All the while they continue to rain white phosphorus bombs over a huge population of civilians, including children, women, and elderly and unarmed men. The world calls it self-defense and not terrorism or genocide when it's as clear and broad as daylight.
Why?
Because the one being killed belongs to Islam. That child whose birth certificate was not issued, was he a terrorist?
That kid whose body could fit in a school bag of his brother, was he a terrorist?
They are conducting gatherings where they openly call for genocide, "kill them all!" "Wipe all Arabs!" But no one seems to take it as an extremist activity.
Why don't we ever call a jew a terrorist? Why don't Fox News, CNN, and BBC scream on television that "Judaism is the real cause of terrorism?"
These Jewish settlers are proudly announcing that they will turn the Gazza Strip into a cemetery, level it, and occupy it because they are good and "chosen" for that land. The prime minister on air says "children of darkness" to Palestinian children. The cold-blooded hate is ever so apparent on their faces, their demonic eyes show what viciousness they are harnessing against a population whose land they stole.
Yet, no one thinks to call Israel a terrorist state.
This was the agenda all over. A fire caused diversion, so the real terrorists could cross the borders. Now, it's the time when the oppressors and the oppressed both are before our eyes. It's the time we choose to see the truth we've been kept away from, for all these years. We remove that false flag, erase the fake image generated for terrorism, and see the flags with blue and white as flags of terrorism.
These two nations, the USA and Israel are two major terrorist states. They destroyed Afghanistan, they destroyed Syria, Iraq, Libya, and many more countries for their greed over oil, they have a known history of colonization, and occupation, and their divide-and-rule policy has created massive drifts between harmonious populations. And they are the ones who should be taken into international law courts for severe crimes, for the assassination of all those Muslim leaders who dared to expose their false propaganda and lies (King Faisal, Saddam Hussain) for example).
It's time the world unites against corrupt and greedy leaders who can kill their people to gain sympathy and catch attention. Just like they killed the people in World Trade Centre.

Brun de Villeret about Marshal Victor
Claude-Victor Perrin aka Marshal Victor is one of the marshals I know the least about. So I was quite happy to find Soult’s aide de camp Brun de Villeret wrote a bit about him in his Cahiers. As this journal was never intended for publication, it’s likely to contain Brun’s honest (if possibly exaggerated) opinion.
Victor was, together with Mortier, one of the marshals who found themselves under the superior command of one marshal Soult during their sojourn in Spain (and didn’t like it one bit). Victor specifically was tasked with the siege of Cadix. When Napoleon sent Masséna into Portugal in the third and last attempt to occupy the country, he demanded Soult come to his support. Soult decided to besiege the fort of Badajoz together with Mortier and for that purpose had to take a larger number of troops from Andalusia into Estremadura, stretching himself dangerously thin. The Spanish troops in Cadix used that opportunity to attack Victor’s siege forces and even had some small successes before being driven back into Cadix. As Brun puts it:
[...] Some of our redoubts had been taken and demolished. The damage was easily repaired, however, and the Duke of Bellune could only congratulate himself on his victory and the way he had conducted his business.
Unfortunately, the gloomy mood which dominated him and still dominates him in all the circumstances of life, led him to believe that the Duke of Dalmatia had wanted to sacrifice him, by weakening the forces he had in Andalusia and taking the Duke of Treviso to Estremadura. He wrote him bitter and reproachful letters. As I was on fairly intimate terms with him, given that my brother was one of his aides-de-camp and had his confidence, the Duke of Dalmatia thought it appropriate to send me to him as a mediator, with the mission of trying to soothe his bad mood.
I see. The Brun brothers. Unofficial psychotherapists of the Armée de Midi.
I found him furious. He had retired to bed and received me while in bed. For two hours, his ravings were so violent that it was impossible for me to reach the end of a sentence. Finally, exhausted from shouting, he allowed me to speak.
Brun: Can I say something now?
Victor [sheepish]: Yes. I am hoarse and my throat hurts.
I managed to make him understand that with his talents, his reputation and three divisions as fine as his own, he should not be surprised that the Duke of Dalmatia had counted on him to defend his lines and cover the south of Andalusia. "You have," I finally said, "responded perfectly to this hope and added a fine jewel to your military crown. For our part, we have obtained great results [...] In short, since success has crowned your defence as well as our undertaking, you would be doing yourself a disservice in the eyes of the Emperor if you were to cast a negative light on what has been achieved." While I was speaking, his face had become serious, and he had resumed that air of benevolence he had always treated me with, when I did not have to address him on his relations with the Duke of Dalmatia. He even showed me the most delicate attentions and sent me away very satisfied with the result of my mission, and bearing answers written in a perfectly moderate style. I knew how to deal with him, and the Duke of Dalmatia knew it too: let him exhaust his ire and his verve. Afterwards, he would listen to reason. Also, during my stay in Spain, I had the opportunity to carry out several missions of the same kind.
One of them apparently included Victor shouting to Brun for another hour about how Soult never sent him enough food and how he was about to starve with his troops, before Brun finally could present him all certificates of receipt for Victor’s corps, proofing that the food Victor claimed was missing had very well arrived, and announce that Soult, nevertheless, had sent off some more boats with food for Victor’s corps. As Brun remarks at this occasion, Victor was "a better warrior than a good administrator".
But my favourite part about the scene Brun describes is that Victor apparently, all the time while he was raging to Brun about Soult’s injustice, was lying in bed. So he was like, yelling at the ceiling, his head in the pillows? Did he also wear a night gown and a sleeping cap?

Hi! I'm really liking the Early Meeting AU! Can you elaborate more on it?
I would be glad to!
The basic rundown is that Twilight is sent after Project APPLE under the suspicion they are conducting human experimentation. The Garden has likewise heard about these rumours, and sends Thorn Princess to assassinate several higher ups in the project, decapitating it in one fell swoop.
They both hit the lab at about the same time, and they end up circling each other like wary dogs. They’re not really allies, but they manage to figure out they’re here for vaguely the same purpose.
Then they find Subjects 007 & 008.
This changes things. A relatively quiet info retrieval/assassination job turns into a full blown rampage that ends with them leaving APPLE in rubble, with a baby and a dog that they’ve both become attached to rather quickly.
Twilight wants to leave them both with Yor and just visit, but in his overthinking Twilight-y way realizes that a young single woman somehow coming into possession of a baby is awfully suspicious. So (And admittedly, this is a little bit of a stretch) he pitches a plan to WISE that would both give Twilight some deep cover in Berlint and monitor the child in a humane environment to see if these experiments she was subject to actually resulted in powers.
And so, Twilight becomes “Loid Forger” a recently widowed psychiatrist taking care of his newborn daughter Anya. But he needs help, of course, thus he employs Yor (who’s taken in Bond) as a nanny, who justifies it to Garden as her own version of deep cover (Who would expect a nanny to be a trained killer?).
And thus, a spy and an assassin find themselves co-parenting a possibly psychic baby, without informing their respective organizations of their partner’s occupations, mind you.
Despite initial wariness given their circumstances, they get along surprisingly well, and both find themselves utterly devoted to giving Anya a good life, without the loss and uncertainty they experienced.
Twilight is firmly under the impression that he’s just giving Anya a home and taking care of her, and that Yor, as the more present caretaker, is her ‘real’ parent.
Then Anya’s first word turns out to be Papa, and oh, he has a daughter now. Yor is of a similar mindset, just being the hired help, despite the fact that Anya’s second word, Mama, is firmly directed towards her.
And the situation continues for about five years, the erstwhile family growing ever closer and Anya growing confused as to why Mama and Papa aren’t married like other Mamas and Papas. Yor and Twilight always get flustered when she asks them about it, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t close. They’ve become each other’s confidants, they’ve bared their pasts to each other, they’ve patched each other up after particularly rough assignments, pleas to quit their lives, Anya needs you, on their tongues but restrained by a guilty hypocrisy. Yor basically lives in the guestroom, even after the need for a nanny passes and she is assigned a job at City Hall, and Bond stays there on a permanent basis.
When Anya’s power becomes apparent, they are both struck by the inexplicable fear that their organizations will take an undue interest in the girl. So Yor just doesn’t mention it, and Twilight half-lies, saying that yes, her powers have developed, but it’s empathy, unnatural emotional awareness.
When Operation STRIX comes down, Loid can’t help the icy sensation that settles on his shoulders. It’s big, important, and it’s going to involve Anya, who despite her love of everything spy related he desperately wants to keep her out of that part of his life.
…He needs a wife, and there’s only one woman he feels comfortable asking.
Yor is just as reluctant, concerned about WISE’s intentions and Garden’s reaction, but to be honest, the chance to become Anya’s mother in a legal sense is too good to pass up.
He asks Franky for the certificate. Franky’s loyal to him, to the Forgers, above WISE, and despite this exasperation at the insistence this just for the mission, he provides.
Anya is excited. Overjoyed, in fact! Why wouldn’t she be? Her Mama and Papa are getting married!

"The Birth of American Intelligence Operations" by Marc Wolfe
BEHOLD! Another amazing work of art I have been recently introduced to!
This scene portrays the final meeting of Nathan Hale and George Washington as they planned the mission Hale would ultimately be killed during. Being an MI officer, we train so that moments like these never happen again. Every decision we make, we keep the soldiers in mind who will be out there risking their lives for us. I know Ben Tallmadge felt this same duty, as he not only lost a fellow MI officer, but his best friend that day.
I received this painting as a gift for my recent graduation from Military Intelligence School in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. And along with this painting came a certificate of authenticity with a little history of the origin of this painting, which I will include below the cut :)
During the Revolutionary War, General George Washington, Commander in Chief of the United States Continental Army wrote, "The necessity of procuring good intelligence is apparent and need not be further urged..." Military Intelligence has since been an important part of Army operations in each of the nation's conflicts.
This scene depicts the planning for one of the first known U.S. Army intelligence missions. In September 1776, General George Washington, Lieutenant Colonel Thomas Knowlton, and Captain Nathan Hale met at Army headquarters in New York City to finalize the plan for CPT Hale's covert mission to Long Island to ascertain British Army movements and intentions.
Following the July 4th, 1776, U.S. Declaration of Independence, the New York campaign was critical to the newborn republic. After defeat at the Battle of Long Island in late August, General Washington needed to determine the location of a British invasion of Manhattan Island and one method to do so was to send a spy behind enemy lines. CPT Nathan Hale was the sole volunteer for this important but dangerous mission.
On September 1, 1776, General Washington organized "Knowlton's Rangers," the first Continental Army unit dedicated to tactical reconnaissance and intelligence gathering. During the Boston Campaign, LTC Knowlton served courageously at the battle of Bunker Hill and led the successful raid on Charlestown to capture British soldiers for questioning. Subsequently on September 16, 1776, during the Battle of Harlem Heights, LTC Knowlton commanded the reconnaissance force that found, engaged, and repulsed the initial British advance. After rejoining the fight later that day, LTC Knowlton was killed in action bravely leading his regiment in the American victory. The loss of this experienced, dynamic, and able leader impacted the young Continental Army. For his gallant exploits, leadership, and command of the first U.S. Army unit designed for intelligence operations, the MI Corps designated LTC Knowlton as its "MI Hero" in 1995. The Knowlton Award recognizes distinguished professionals who contribute significantly to the promotion of Army intelligence.
From Knowlton's Regiment, CPT Nathan Hale stepped forward to conduct intelligence missions against British forces on Long Island, ultimately giving his life for his country. A 21-year-old Yale College graduate and teacher, Nathan Hale had not seen action in the Boston or Long Island Campaigns and felt compelled to contribute to the Continental Army he had joined a year earlier. He saw this mission as a crucial opportunity to serve the patriotic cause. Thus, Nathan Hale dutifully volunteered to collect information against the British Army. According to a subordinate, CPT Hale met with General Washington on two occasions prior to departing. This scene portrays the final meeting.
Dressed in the guise of a school teacher, Nathan Hale crossed Long Island Sound from Connecticut and began his mission. After the British captured New York City, it was set ablaze under suspicious circumstances after midnight on September 21. The British immediately began to arrest local civilians for questioning. Nathan Hale was detained, found to have notes on the British Army, and immediately charged as a spy. According to the standards of the time, undercover spies were hanged as illegal combatants. Without a trial, Nathan Hale was executed on September 22, 1776. His last words were believed to be, "I only regret that I have but one life to give for my country." Nathan Hale was the first American executed for conducting intelligence operations.
General George Washington's use and staunch advocacy of intelligence operations coupled with the distinguished service and sacrifice of LTC Knowlton and CPT Nathan Hale serve as a constant reminder to all MI Corps Soldiers of our significant heritage as well as the hazards of the Military Intelligence profession.

"All of those under the age of majority, meaning younger than eighteen-"
"We know what the fucking age of majority is, you absolute bellend," Ivy snapped. "Get to the godsdamn point."
"I will," Beast returned, voice icy. "All of those under the age of eighteen cannot be here without permission from their legal guardians. All of you under the age of eighteen will need to be taken into custody until your parents can be contacted and they say you can stay in Auradon."
Oh.
Oh fuck.
Hadie stepped forward before Jay could work himself up. "So, if we're under eighteen, we have to be sent back?" Beast nodded and a wicked grin split across Hadie's face. "Makes sense. Nice to know that I'm eighteen and the rule doesn't apply to me."
The idea spread through the room as quickly as the panic had. Andi stepped up, too, interrupting Beast as he tried to point out Hadie's lie. "I'm eighteen, too."
"So am I," Rose said. "And since Ace and I are twins, that makes it eighteen, too."
"Yeah, I'm eighteen, too," Malcolm piped up.
"I'm eighteen!" Little Pasha said, earning grins from most of the room.
Ivy ruffled her hair. "Good girl, Pash!"
Beast slammed his hands down on his table, startling them into silence. "Do you think we're stupid?" He spat. "Only two of you are over the age of eighteen!"
"Prove it," Winter snapped, shooting to her feet. "There's no official documentation kept on the Isle, including birth certificates. As far as you know, they're all eighteen. You have to take them at their word for it because you just couldn't be bothered to document the fact that they exist. I mean, do any of you have an official birth certificate?" When she was met with only a chorus of denial, she grinned to Beast. "See, they don't have birth certificates. You have no proof that they aren't eighteen."
"It's not hard to conduct tests-"
"On the contrary, your Majesty," Charles Xavier interrupted. "Bone density scans and dental examinations were all inconclusive due to the issues they've grown up with. No test will be able to accurately determine the age of someone who's suffered from chronic malnutrition for their entire lives. There is no way to verify their ages through those methods. I have tried but, because of the obviously inaccurate results, also had to take them at their word for their ages."
"So, my fellow people who are old enough to vote," Ivy said, "It looks like we're all good to stay in Auradon. Because he can't verify our ages."

I was wondering if you have any advice to surviving ANBU... Sometimes it feels damn near impossible.
- Ray
Your name's "Ray"? Could have sworn I've heard others call you "Sunny" before.
Anyways. Yo. Owl will be happy that the career counseling certificates us officers have to get are being put into use, I guess.
Short answer: you're already doing great if you're still breathing and ambulatory. As in, you are alive and survived this far. Those who make it past the first two years after their initial trials without tapping out, generally have a good team of people who you can trust to have your back, and thus stay for the entire six-by-two of the contract.
Long answer: depends on what you're having trouble with.
If it's your skillset, try finding a more senior member of your team and ask to spar. Take those personnel evals that your superior officers have to conduct to heart, because we usually try to list areas where we think you can improve and how you could go about it.
If it's mental...
You joined for a reason. Whether through voluntary application or from being scouted, there was some part of you that wanted to be a part of something bigger when you signed up. Hold on to that feeling. It's the first pillar, and the one you're guaranteed to share with each and every agent by your side.
People regulate themselves differently. What works for others, might not work for you, but feel free to take inspiration and try new things if you feel like you're slipping. If you're the social type, drop by a restaurant or bar with your teammates or a touchstone and embellish a story or two of the weird things our missions involve, if you trust yourself to censor them appropriately. Crash at your touchstone's place for a night and be a winsome bastard. Find someone you'll swear to come back home to and stand by for as long as the world allows, or a few someones to take to bed and lose yourself in. Pace yourself by taking a mission or two with the general forces while you're off rotation. Sign on for a shift behind the missions desk at the tower or as a guest speaker for the Academy if you're desperate for a change of scenery. Variety is the spice of life, and all that.
Essentially, find something you enjoy and indulge it during your downtime.
Try to be home for festivals and holidays. I know we don't get a choice sometimes, but it's important to be able to see what we're slinking around in the shadows for.

JAM RAMBLES
Happy June!
I have just got my tesol certificate and soooo ready to apply for jobs and whatnot! --I'm going to plan the TKT and CELTA for my second half year when I'm available.. especially CELTA.
And I have recently joined a Stop Procrastination Training program for the sake of my personal wellbeing. It's a lil expensive but I really need to do something to deal with my procrastination -- and on the other hand, it's slightly relaxing to know that there's some one (like, half of the program attenders and almost all of my tumblr moots) out there in the world procrastinating more than I do lol
On a more serious note, the job application I ranted about a couple of weeks earlier finally got a reply (of some sorts). I got a call earlier this week with a frantically apologizing hr -which, tbh, it wasn't his fault- but the uni has decided that this hr would be the fall guy, so...
It was not the best outcome we anticipated, but it's just ... this, for now.
And I've got an interview slot later this week for a rather large company. They don't pay well but they have this position overseas.
To be honest, I am still debating on whether I should apply for a PhD. I'm not good at doing research, but I'm not bad at writing papers or conducting classes, the latter one I really enjoy. But to attain a position as a college english lecturer, PhD seems like a must in most places. Also that the particular field I study, Intercultural Communication, is a rather new and less-supervised and ... uh Language and Liberal Arts field that doesn't come with a lot of professors and universities to choose from, not to mention that HEAVILY TUITIONED places like UK/US is a big hard no for me. So for now, I'm going to apply to those lecturer positions which demand less (like in Japan, that sometimes doesn't need a phd to apply for this position, AND ALSO IT LACKS YOUNG PPL WHO ARE OF AGE TO WORK, LIKE, A LOT? I think the chances are high) and we'll see how this goes. If it runs smoothly, than yay. If not, I probably have to endure another four (or five) years of academic life.
Stay hydrated and stay positive, I guess!
