Angry about something
Please, please, please, let movements be horrible on their own without saying, "The're the [previous thing] of [subject]"
We don't say the Nazis were the modern Napoleonic Imperialists. We don't say the Napoleonic Imperialists were their day's Golden Horde of Genghis Khan. We don't say Muslim pirates and abductors from Tripoli cruising Europe for slaves and conquests were "totally Trans Atlantic Slave Trading it." Muslims were abducting Europeans for slave applications for centuries before Europeans did it for
And when people talk about modern day Intersectional Feminists, capital P Progressives and oldschool TERF-flavor feminists get nasty in accordance with their values all over a pasttime, a hobby, or a group of people that enjoys something and tells them they're doing it wrong thanks to a VERY unreliably narrated assessment of what they are and why they are, they tend to treat their behavior as if it's the same stock mindset of previous experience related to Christian puritainism and religious evangelism.
Don't fucking do this. Their values are not the same. They come from a different place, and you doing this helps them do something they SPECIFICALLY like to do. First, muck around acting like assholes in self-righteous quests to control how people interpret reality and see things, and when called out for it, have their own controlled mea culpa where they apologize because, "that's just the old Christian White Supremacist in me, the feminism part of me isn't like that and can't be like that because feminism is just good and can't be bad. I'm sowwy. :C"
No. Fucking no. Do NOT fucking allow that to happen. Feminism is not a simple act of seeing women as equal, it's an entire dogmatic baggage that necessitates Class Struggle Theory, the willful adoption of the idea the only thing that matters in sexual politics is that "Women Are Oppressed (TM)" even when circumstances and culture are entirely equal and even handed with them, and that society owes them something to compensate for this inherent oppression- at the expense of men. And that Society is the third wheel in their relationship, automatically there to redistribute from the man.
Feminism bills itself as simply a phenomenon of 'equality'... for women.. but it is no more this than Christianity is synonymous with The Good(tm). It certainly is a shitty way to see the world, but it is not the definition of seeing the world. It boils down to making some very very intensely specific logical leaps and shortcuts out of convenience and then dogmatically insisting these values are immutable and unquestionable.
From that position, we come to the other little black box in the equation. The idea that something that exists in culture that represents an icon or concept, oppresses and exploits that icon, object or group, and that it is specifically wrong to objectify that, but only if it's a woman, a group that is "oppressed." (it's however perfectly justifiable to objectify an 'oppressor.' See how that works.) Right before they say some apologetics like, "It's not MY fault cisheterosexual Judeo-Christian Patriarchy is sexually binary! Maybe if you agreed in more options we wouldn't be having this conversation!"
And it's because of this shitty point of view, they argue that even having big booby fictional characters that are female, boobily boobing down the stairs for the appreciation of the audience, they jump to the next facet of their belief system. Male Gaze Theory.
Built off their idea that Classes Struggle (tm) and Women Are the Obligate Oppressed Class(tm), and that any reference or participation by women is inherently an act of an oppressed political group in bondage to and beholden to their oppressive captors, AND that works of fiction and literature are part of culture, these facets of culture give groups their marching orders, programming and ideas on what they are, mean and even their existence. They believe, uncompromisingly, that your very perception and understanding of reality is built solely upon what books written by the state have to say about what is real and what isn't. That if society writes books about a murderer and don't go out of their way to omnipotently, omnipresently dictate with no ambiguity that, "Murder is bad, ackshully," that you endorse a society where murder happens. And, no joke, this is how they imagine murder, theft and antisocial behavior happening. Because it exists in that cultural bubble like evil waves of energy, just going unneutralized to warp the minds of unprepared people who haven't been told what is right and wrong by society, making them rapists, murderers and exploiters of those weaker than them (and they only care when the person exploits someone weaker than them.)
So they see sexy drawn women as depictions of an oppressed minority being reveled over by a slavemaster class, exploiting their image and the idea of that group for profit (which they also despise) and believe the women should also be profitting off their "exploitation" in fiction, and some sort of state council should exist that oversees the expression or interpretation of women in fiction, or else abolish the work from existing for not fitting their moral and social view of how literature and culture are "allowed" to see women. Seeing this very dour, extreme interpretation about how all men depicting women is exploitation, and by default society is meant for a male, oppressor perspective, is called, "Male Gaze Theory."
At no point in this equation did their greviance or conceptual principles cross over with Puritainism or Christians. They are their own totalitarian beasts, and like the Nazis are not Napoleonics are not The Mongol Horde, FUCKING TELL IT LIKE IT IS AND ACCEPT RADICAL FEMINISM IS JUST LIKE THIS.
You can somehow see one radical conservative and condemn the entire conservative or right-wing party as inherently racist, white supremacist and homophobic, but you can't acknowledge that radical feminism has more Ls to its name and more bad ideas and more bad values than rejecting the idea that trans men and women aren't men and women. All their ideological supremacism, all their logical leaps, all of their antagonistic marching into any fandom and demanding the fandom most conform to their ideas of what is mentally, emotionally an socially healthy, are their own. They are not Puritans, they're fucking radical feminists. Do not use the bad behavior of past groups as an ablative shield when you fucking mean what you mean.
"Well complaining about feminism makes me sound like some kind of CHUD..."
That's a you problem. In the past, complaining about the Church when it was synonymous with power would've made you a "pagan" or an "unbeliever." And before the T in LGBT got traction, it was just "anti-feminist" for a biological man to argue with a woman, giving them infinite instant Ls, even if they did identify as a woman. It starts somewhere.
Call it like it is and just realize radical feminism is rotten from the top windows of the attic to the foundations.

spoiler-free recap: 论和太子谈恋爱的风险和收益 by k君
a free novel on Changpei that you can probably finish in a single afternoon. The title roughly translates to "On the risks and rewards of falling in love with the Crown Prince".
optimistic-street-smart prostitute gong x hardworking-but-sheltered crown prince shou
Synopsis
[Warning: dubcon, sex work, age-gap (22 vs 16)]
Protagonist Zhao Tang is the son of a prostitute, a prostitute himself, and a cage fighter on the side -- a man from the bottom tiers of society who needs to sell every part of his body to earn a livelihood. One day, he saves runaway young master Ruirui from some scoundrels on the street, and eventually gets Ruirui into his bed.
Ruirui turns out to be Crown Prince Liu Rui, nominally the nephew of the Emperor, but is in reality the product of the Emperor raping his sister-in-law. He is in a very awkward and delicate political position, and can spare little attention (and protection) for Zhao Tang except some gold for his "hospitality." Nonetheless, Zhao Tang still runs into the Prince in the capital from time to time, and wants to try pursue a relationship.
After an assassination attempt, Liu Rui has a dream that sees into the future, and sees the collapse of his empire and death of Zhao Tang. He starts taking actions to try to avert that future, but things still spiral out of his control. And despite Liu Rui insisting they can't be together, he can't help but return to find Zhao Tang again and again ...
What I like about the story
Rebirth with a twist. Their story across two lifetimes touches on themes related to love, self-worth, class difference, social change, and chance. It's the love interest Liu Rui, not the POV character, who has knowledge of a past life. He struggles to handle the situation, especially as events begin to diverge from the original timeline. Even as the audience, we don't find out the full truth until the very end, but his decisions and attitudes make more sense in retrospect, and he has made significant improvements (e.g. avoided the collapse of his empire!) given the limited information and resources -- and the horrendous emotional baggage -- that he has.
Angst-y love story. Zhao Tang loves a prince far beyond him in social standings, and has nothing to offer him. Liu Rui loves Zhao Tang, but is held back by his responsibilities as a prince and his anxieties over their devastating BE in the previous life. The story takes their class difference very seriously. Neither of them believes their relationship can (or should) last, and that insecurity builds up over time and morphs into resentment, and it wrecks them, even as they love each other ...
Wonderfully flawed characters. Zhao Tang is optimistic, smart, and strong, but also a bit vain and insecure and just a liiiiitttle resentful of the world general. Liu Rui tries very hard to do right by everyone and his own values, but isn't honest with himself about his own desires and biases. They are always trying and maturing, but they also make mistakes, fail, and lash out from time to time, just like normal people.
Side characters! This novel is only 100K words long and still manages to craft memorable side characters. Loyal and capable Ji Huai'an. Lovesick but honorable Yun Qi. Liu Zhenzhen with her knife-mouth, tofu-heart, and piercing realism. And wow I did not see that plot twist coming from [spoiler] of all people ...
On the other hand....
This story is not "pretty" like your typical danmei. The details of poverty and exploitation and even sex can be raw and ugly and unpleasant to dwell on. They ate tree barks and less pleasant things to try to survive while the country fall into chaos, and Liu Rui still comes close to starving to death several times. The characters make mistakes with serious consequences -- and this is already the better version of events compared to the previous lifetime.
Zhao Tang's experiences as a common prostitute is very different from those of the high-ranking "courtesans" we see a lot in danmei. He does not have a glamorous lifestyle or reputation; he has no special gifts and talents that he can sell instead of his body; he does not feel liberated or empowered making a living this way. He ends up internalizing the prejudice against sex workers which he has endured his whole life, just because that is his reality.
Liu Rui also subverts the trope of the noble prince. He is popular, but mostly because the bar is on the ground with the current Emperor. He doesn't have much power politically, isn't particularly talented or beautiful, and really struggles with the hard decisions his positions requires of him. In the previous life, he mishandled things so badly that his dynasty is overthrown, and despite his best efforts, it's still an uphill battle the second time around.
Overall
This story is a "looking for candies among glass shards" kind of situation. It's HE in the end, but I went through a significant quantity of tissues in the process.
But the love really shines through in a story like this -- because it is the best thing -- sometimes it's the only good thing -- these have going on for them.

What a great chapter! Have a extra big kudo and just a thank you for sharing this story with us! Also a little question, and feel free to go the Gaiman way of 'wait and see' if you don't want to talk about it! I wondered where you fall on the Billy 'hate-don't like-indifferent-like-love' (as a character) scale you fall on? Is there a possibility that Billy will get the fleshed out treatment like the other side characters or will it be more like 'only so much Billy as necessary' (for whatever reason, no judgment!)?
i am late to this. as usual. but here we go let's answer this
i mean i don't think fleshing out billy and disliking billy are mutually exclusive — some of the most rewarding character details arise out of pretty loathsome characters (tommy c.; eddie's family, as we're going to see more later on; steve's dad) and i'm firmly against keeping any character one-note. billy's actually a pretty compelling figure in terms of what i'm examining with better by you, which is patterns of abuse and their relationship to/the way they're propagated by social inequality and capitalism, but equally he's been fandom-ified (/woobified) to such an extent that it's difficult to write a nuanced take on him because of the immediate associations he conjures up. as an example, i can definitely see him being gay and self-hating but i'm not sure i want to explore that because a) i've already had the suggestion of tommy h. being gay and also tommy c., so i'd rather not keep flogging that conventional horse, and b) it leads to the associations of steve/billy, because of the wider fandom context, and i'm trying to keep this piece separate from that sort of context, ie. steering away from popular fanon and exploring and enriching my own little world. billy's too integrated into fandom and would burst that bubble if i went in that direction, i think.
that being said, i'm keen to explore max's background further, which will obviously entail hints at billy's background too. but i've never been interested in writing a 'why they are the way they are' type of story — when i'm fleshing out side characters it's mainly an attempt to breathe life into the world. that's why we know mick loves heart but not how she grew up, for example. deeper moments are incidental, and happen as they happen. i've gone for a realist approach which mimics the way we experience the real world — we get little snatches of other people, never the whole picture, but sometimes those snatches are enough.
i'm not sure how much this answers your question but in summary it's twofold: a) billy carries a lot of fandom baggage i would have to unpack, if i spent a lot of time on him, and the story isn't at all about him so i don't want to spend that time writing a character i do find unpleasant (and let's face it, you can't really unpack racism) and b) i'm not sure a focus on billy actually even works within the story i'm telling. i just don't feel like there's much scope to be original with him, since he's been 'done' in fandom. a lot of the time my nuance goes towards characters we know little about or aren't such large presences in fanon.
i hope this is clear! i'm glad you're enjoying the fic <3

The Dos and Don'ts of Booking Flight Tickets Online
In an age where technology has made the world a smaller place, booking flight tickets online has become the norm for travelers worldwide. The convenience of browsing through multiple airlines, comparing prices, and securing tickets from the comfort of your own home has revolutionized the way we plan our journeys. However, with this convenience comes a myriad of factors to consider to ensure a smooth booking experience. Here, we delve into the dos and don'ts of booking flight tickets online, equipping you with the knowledge to navigate the skies with ease.
Book cheap flight tickets and hotels- https://cheaptravelfirst.com/
The Dos:
Compare Prices Across Multiple Platforms: Before committing to a purchase, explore various online travel agencies, airline websites, and comparison platforms to ensure you're getting the best deal. Prices can vary significantly between platforms, so investing time in research can lead to substantial savings.
Book in Advance: As a general rule, booking your flight tickets well in advance can result in lower fares. Airlines typically offer their best prices months before the departure date, with prices increasing as the departure date approaches. Keep an eye out for early bird deals and promotions to secure the best rates.
Sign Up for Price Alerts: Take advantage of price alert features offered by many booking websites. By subscribing to these alerts, you'll receive notifications when prices drop for your desired route, allowing you to capitalize on the best deals.
Be Flexible with Dates and Times: Flexibility with your travel dates and times can significantly impact the cost of your flight tickets. Consider traveling during off-peak seasons or opting for mid-week departures, as these times often offer lower fares due to decreased demand.
Review the Fine Print: Before finalizing your booking, carefully review the terms and conditions, including cancellation policies, baggage allowances, and any additional fees. Understanding these details can prevent surprises and help you make informed decisions.
Consider Alternative Airports: When searching for flights, don't limit yourself to major airports. Exploring nearby airports can sometimes yield cheaper options, especially for regional or domestic travel.
Utilize Loyalty Programs and Rewards: If you frequently travel with a specific airline or alliance, joining their loyalty program can earn you rewards, such as discounted fares, upgrades, and access to exclusive lounges. Accumulating miles or points can also lead to free flights or other travel perks.
Clear Browser Cookies: Some booking websites may track your browsing history and adjust prices accordingly. To avoid potential price hikes, clear your browser cookies or use private browsing mode when searching for flights.
The Don'ts:
Wait Until the Last Minute: While last-minute deals do exist, they are rare and often come with hefty price tags. Avoid the stress and expense of last-minute bookings by planning ahead and securing your tickets well in advance.
Ignore Hidden Fees: Be wary of hidden fees that may not be immediately apparent when booking online. These can include charges for seat selection, baggage, credit card processing, and booking changes. Factor these additional costs into your budget to avoid any surprises.
Overlook Alternative Airlines: Don't limit yourself to well-known carriers when searching for flights. Smaller or budget airlines may offer competitive prices and additional flexibility, particularly for short-haul or regional travel.
Forget to Double-Check Details: Before confirming your booking, double-check all the details, including your travel dates, times, and passenger information. Mistakes can be costly to rectify, so take the time to ensure everything is correct before proceeding.
Book Without Insurance: While travel insurance is optional, it can provide invaluable protection in case of unforeseen circumstances, such as flight cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost baggage. Assess your needs and consider investing in insurance for peace of mind.
Fall for Scams or Fake Deals: Exercise caution when booking flights online and be wary of scams or fake deals that seem too good to be true. Stick to reputable booking platforms and airlines, and avoid providing personal or financial information on unfamiliar websites.
Assume Direct Is Always Cheaper: While booking directly through an airline's website can sometimes offer perks such as loyalty points or better customer service, it's not always the cheapest option. Compare prices across multiple platforms to ensure you're getting the best deal.
Disregard Reviews and Ratings: Before committing to a booking, take the time to read reviews and ratings from other travelers. These can provide valuable insights into the airline's reliability, service quality, and overall customer experience.
In conclusion, booking flight tickets online offers unparalleled convenience and flexibility for modern travelers. By following these dos and don'ts, you can maximize your savings, minimize stress, and enjoy a seamless booking experience. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a globetrotting adventure, arming yourself with the right knowledge will ensure smooth sailing from takeoff to touchdown.

Challenges
Volatility in Fuel Prices: Fluctuations in oil prices impact airline operating costs, affecting profitability and financial stability. Sudden spikes in fuel prices can significantly inflate operating expenses.
Regulatory Compliance and Safety: The aviation industry is highly regulated, with stringent safety standards and compliance requirements imposed by bodies such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Infrastructure Constraints: Airport capacity limitations, airspace congestion, and inadequate ground facilities pose significant challenges. Growing passenger demand, especially in congested urban areas and major travel hubs, strains existing infrastructure and air traffic management systems.
Conclusion
The aviation market presents a dynamic landscape characterized by opportunities, challenges, and ongoing evolution. Despite facing headwinds such as the COVID-19 pandemic, regulatory complexities, and infrastructure constraints, the aviation industry remains resilient and adaptable, driven by innovation, technological advancements, and market demand.

Slave-kun’s Happy Life in Another World: Chapter 35
The market is bustling with activity today, too.
I'm still a little nervous, but I guess that will go away eventually.
My travel preparations were quite difficult.
I had to buy a lot of basic necessities like blankets and toiletries. I was really grateful that the slaver provided me with clothes.
I don't know what's good or bad, and I can't say anything, so I just put on what I'm told to wear and pack it in my bag.
I would have liked to have taken a closer look at the items, but I didn't have the time.
Everyone else is also efficiently purchasing what they need. It seems that the selection is good, as it is a trading town.
Everyone's clothes are different from the loose ones they wear around town, and they have a more "adventurer" look.
I guess it's because they have more armor. Their shoes have also changed to boots that cover their shins. That alone makes them look different from ordinary people! They haven't put on their weapons yet.
As for me.
My usual clothes, shoes, socks, and poncho coat. In addition to that, a small knife, a small pouch, gloves, and a storage bag.
That's my equipment.
I look a little more like a traveler now.
My master prefers to travel lightly, so I have to carry his storage bag. It's for my use as well.
Carrying luggage, a slave's job!
However, it's just a backpack-type storage bag. It's been enchanted with spatial magic, so it doesn't weigh much no matter how much is inside. It's a bit light to claim to be a baggage carrier.
My master said that even with this lightness, it would get in the way of his movements, so he didn't want to carry it. He was so happy that he was jumping around. Is he a puppy?
I'm happy to have a job, and my master is happy to be light on his feet. This is world peace. Win-win.
Daine looked at us with a suspicious eye as we skipped and jumped around.
"I think we'll go along the road from the north gate for a while, then cross the grasslands and enter the forest. I think we'll be able to rest and train in the grasslands."
"We'll camp in the forest."
"If we cut through the forest, we'll be close to the royal capital."
"Let's do that."
Everyone agreed with the leader's plan and started walking towards the gate.
Gradually, there were more carriages than people.
A person standing in the middle with a flag-like thing is guiding them, acting as a traffic signal. Sometimes he would blow a whistle. The traffic conditions here are interesting.
The sound of wheels, the clopping of horseshoes, the neighing of horses, the shouts of the drivers.
It's like we've wandered into a movie set.
I feel like I've really come to another world.
The gate is wide enough for four carriages to pass side by side, and there are large stone watchtowers on either side.
This is the first time I've seen the outer wall of this city, but it's lower than I thought. Maybe they're not very concerned about defense.
Is it because there are few wars? Or is it because magic is useless? Hmm.
As I was wondering, I was called by name.
"Owl, there's a bus stop over there with people lined up, right? There's a regular bus that leaves from there to the royal capital about four times a day. If we get separated from you, you can head to the highway and get picked up by that carriage with the crest. Sometimes the traveling knights pass by, so you can take that one too. If you show your escort badge, they'll give you a ride to the royal capital. Do you remember that?"
The leader crouched down and explained to me.
You never know what might happen.
The regular flight's logo is a picture of a galloping horse. Easy to understand.
When I nodded to show my understanding, the leader smiled gently and patted my head. Father…!
"Then, let's go back to the royal capital!"
The weather is sunny.
Nove walked out briskly, and we followed him through the gate.
The gateway to trade.
Sansa, a city where various people and things intersect, meet, and part.
There were many things, but this is the city where it all began for me, where the worst and the best coexisted.
Is it finally time to say goodbye?
A strange sense of emotion envelops me.
Goodbye, Sansa.
See you again.
[Next time, a different perspective]

In Love Letters To Life, I celebrate the joy, love and magic of life without bypassing the fuckshit. This Women’s Futures Month, I’m getting curious about how capitalism creates this class called “women” to exploit (all of us). This exploration is open to all and Bl@ck AF because it’s important to centre collective solutions offered by folks who experience the most oppression under the same gendered system of extraction, exploitation and marginalisation. I call this system “fuckshit” for short. Sometimes I’ll say racial c@pitalism. In any case, I highlight instances when Black folks’ choices are comparatively more limited or stolen and society normalises this theft of joy, ease, leisure, pleasure. bell hooks named all the fuckshit wh*te imperialist colonial c@pitalist patriarchy. Or domination for short. It is the absence of love - real love, a radical love (like the kind we began to explore during the “Speak Love Be Love” series in Black Futures Month and the Month Of Love). bell hooks also encouraged us to get curious about all the ways we might willingly, unwillingly, consciously and unconsciously conform to and uphold fuckshit. When you’re swimming in it, you do get it on you and in you. So how do we get free to experience joy, love and magic all while living in and trying to survive fuckshit? That’s the question. Maybe, as I learned in #spellofcapitalism, it starts with curiosity about your relationship to it all. I’ve labelled my relationship to fuckshit #BlackBougieAndQuestioningCapitalism You? I deeply desire to know what exists beyond my social, political and economic conditioning into accepting unlove/fuckshit/domination as the norm. I love to imagine what might happen if I returned all of that colonial baggage back to sender and made room in my imagination to get on with the radical love dreaming. . . If you’re also curious and committed to moving beyond pain to power, you may enjoy my paid monthly offering, “Love Letters To Life”. More details from the link in my bio @sistazai or linktr.ee/sistazai There’s a waitlist but doors opened and everyone waitlisted still receives a monthly love note. The Year of Water Tiger 2022 & The Yang Water’s Healing Stream
By Chinese Astrologer Virpi Karjalainen. Translation from Finnish by me.
The year of the Water Tiger starts in the beginning of February. This still ongoing January is the last month of The Iron Ox, and it also happens to be the month of the said Iron Ox. No wonder if many of us have felt like we’re walking in a rapidly drying mud waist deep. The air - or should I say the ground, to be precise - has contained so much heavy, pressuring Ox’s Earth energy that it has almost felt suffocating. Thus, I’m personally looking forward to Water Tiger’s year as it will free us from these stiff Earth energies.
Starting from the 4th of February, we start the new Lunar Year. Everything will be wiped clean, together with the boost from the New Moon. It’s finally time to start with a new energy. This energy is also the energy of Spring, because February is always Tiger’s very own month, and the time of the Tree element. Spring, while up north still far away, is slowly approaching - and the spring is always a promise of something better.
It’s time for us to move from the influence of Earth and Metal elements under the embrace of Water and Tree. In 2022 we’re led by The Water Tiger and in 2023 Water Rabbit will guide us. While the Water Tiger won’t bring us the total freedom and release we seek, as Tiger’s element takes us very deep, this is still a year of a big transformation. The closer we get to the Rabbit’s energy, our own steps will get lighter and bouncier, too. Rest in knowing that things will ease up.
The Healing Water
The Lunar Tiger arrives in 2022 wearing a cape made from Yang Water. Water Tiger is an animal who is used to go with the flow, sometimes even into very deep waters. However, everything that is water isn’t always clear. Sometimes the water is murky and mixed from all the winds whirling the water around. The soil from the bottom of the water might rise up, turning the water dark and dirty. But, as Yang Water has a very strong stream, that murky water will get clearer, it will be healed and it moves. Yang Water will not stay still - it’s always in a movement.
This Yang Water of 2022 arrives to cleanse us. It brings something new or something old up to the surface, something which is time to show up. Life itself will start to flow but the strong currents of flowing Yang Water might bring us something we didn’t expect or didn’t want to face. From the depts of the water’s soil, a Change with a capital C, emerges. Whatever the Yang Water brings up now, it will immediately move forward. This means that wherever emotional baggage and dirty waters we might have within us and in our lives, it will be cleaned with the help of Yang Water - but first, the Yang Water must bring it up from the hidden parts of the water.
The element of Water is associated with the subconscious mind, deep emotions, anxiety, fears, secrets and sexuality. Our bodies own “waterways” like urinari tracts, kidneys, sexual organs and everything else “down there” are connected to the Water element. These themes will be present in 2022, at least in everyone’s personal life if not globally somehow.
The Influence of Water Tiger Is Already Here
I have noticed a long time ago that the next Lunar year’s energy starts to show itself slowly in our daily lives a few months prior to the new year, usually around the beginning of December. I noticed it either in my own body, in my own life or in the life events of other people around me, which go together with the themes of the next Lunar year. These energies are gently brought to us because the energy won’t change arbuntly by clicking a switch. Especially the energies of 2022 have arrived smoothly and quietly, like the Tiger himself.
And yes, I can speak for myself when I say that the energies of Water Tiger have already affected me, both physically and emotionally. It feels like I would have been pulled into the depths of my psyche, and held under water by force. I have needed to face emotions and situations which I wouldn’t have wanted to deal with anymore. All kinds of old junk have risen up on the surface and I’ve needed to stand face-to-face with my own past. One could say that “Back to The Past” has been my theme now. Everything unresolved from the past will surface and return now. Or, at least we must face it once more and see if we’re fine with it, if we have dealt and made a peace with it. What have you learned so far, and could you learn a little bit mofe from it by graduating from this course of spirituality and finalizing the inner thesis you’ve been working on? When you have gotten a cookie and a pat on your head from the emotional job well done, you’re free to continue towards new directions, full of energy and vitality, feeling yourself much, much lighter.
The challenges the Water Tiger brings with himself are problems related to water, emotions and bodily fluids. We need to check our emotional, psychological issues, and also check all physical health issues that might trouble us. To be frank, in 2022, both “the upstairs” and “the downstairs” might be under heavy pressure. The best thing with this all is that relief which occurs when things finally start to move again, making our emotional and bodily streams flow easily. It renews our emotional state, and we’re happy and full of energy to express our emotions and sexuality freely. Both will then become assets which need no hiding or being ashamed of. We don’t have to fear anything anymore within ourselves.
Heal Your Body and Mind
“In need of therapy” is one of the good mottos for 2022. Everything that’s out of the balance should be dealt with now and brought into balance. The Water Element runs very deep this year and it’s full of healing powers, supporting any projects and attempts we take to heal and balance ourselves and our lives. It’s good to view ourselves as complete beings, where everything is linked to everything. Both our bodies as well as our minds need tender care. For example, fear is an emotion that makes our bodies freeze, causing uncontrolled bodily reactions, like panic attacts, even when fear is an emotional problem. If we want to cleanse ourselves and reach renewal, we have to inspect ourselves as the whole package. One can’t really deal with physical issues without checking what emotional issues are there, too.
Empathy, listening, facing challenges and surviving through them together are also part of this Lunar Year’s energy. Water will always find its way around any obstacles. While it can create a curve or take a longer, slower route to find its way around an obstacle, the Water rarely stops completely. Yang Water might be the most powerful, most renewing power we know. Think Yang Water as a tsumani, which brings down anything it touches. In the year of Yang Water, our own emotions might at times be like tsunami waves.
Are you already feeling this change within you? Or have you witnessed it in others? Do you suddenly know more people who go to therapy or at least try to find a good therapist or therapy treatment method? Do you have new sensations in your body’s water ways, genital area or sexuality? Have secrets found their ways on the surface, some things you weren’t earlier aware of?
These are the themes for Water Tiger’s year. Pay attention to these themes whenever or however they might appear in your life now.

Sam is straight up corrupted.
I’m not talking about capitalism or casinos or being a bad warden. His mind is literally just... corrupted. Like, trauma and being around Dream and Quackity too much has tinted his mindset.
c!Sam is the most lawful good character out there. He’ll literally go to the extremes just to do what he thinks is ‘good’. He’s made it clear that he would not hesitate to kill anyone who even tries something sketchy towards the prison. So what he did to Ponk was not surprising.
But what is surprising is the fact that he’s going as far as torture just to get back some old key cards that won’t even do anything to the prison. The farthest he’s gone was feed Dream raw potatoes once a day and not let anyone visit him. Sam has never once laid a hand on Dream even though he thought about doing it when Tommy died. Even though Sam was willing to cut off Dream’s food source, he still had some set limits on how far he’ll go.
Then Quackity happened. He introduced the concept of torture. Something Sam didn’t want to do himself, but was seriously considering to do so.
Imagine being in a prison, watching over the dude that ruined everyone’s lives every single day. Imagine having to listen to Dream threaten your life and being genuinely terrified because you’ve witnessed what he can do. Imagine hearing all the horrible things Dream has done. (You might not realize how much of a mental strain that can have on someone, but that’s a lot). Imagine all the mental baggage Sam has because of Dream at the moment.
Then pair all of that with the Eggpire shit. He blames himself for a lot of things. We are all aware of the Egg’s voice in his head as well. His mental state isn’t the best right now.
That was why he was so easily manipulated. Because he was desperate for some kind of hope and closure to cling onto. He’s just trying to find a way to do his job right while not realizing that he’s making things worse for himself.
We all know Quackity ‘visits’ Dream everyday. We all know Sam is always there to supervise. Torture and violence is becoming a constant to him. It’s becoming normal to him. If he was already mentally unstable, you think having the mental image of torture and violence as something normal (something okay) is going to help him? He is not okay. That Sam we saw in Ranboo’s stream? That was not the Sam we all know and love.
Mans literally said “Do you have any more ideas on how to torture him? Oh yeah... I could poison him. Or even punch him to death.” Uhhhhhh... Sam’s mind is corrupted and I don’t think he realizes it.
Warden Sam is scary, yes, but this Sam is so much more terrifying.
The Warden Sam we know had limitations. He had morals. He had feelings and was sympathetic to some extent. He was still Sam. The Sam that offered Tommy a home during exile, the Sam who gives out pumpkin pies, the Sam who repeatedly gives Quackity supplies, the Sam who tries to save everyone from the Egg, the Sam who loves his dog more than anything.
This Sam is numb. He doesn’t see the wrong in violence and torture because his poor mental state was exposed to them for far too much. This Sam has no limits, he’ll literally do anything to do what he thinks is ‘good’ and what he thinks is ‘right’. He has lost all sense of sympathy, and I think the fact that Ponk was the one to break his trust was his breaking point. This Sam isn’t our Sam.
He needs help and I don’t think having no one on his side is going to help him recover. He’s just going to spiral more and more. He’s already broken. He’s already at his lowest. This man needs desperate help and if he doesn’t get it soon, I don’t think our Sam is ever coming back.
