I would typically use my side blog for photography purposes, but tumblr says I can’t submit posts from side blogs, so you get my dorky fandom blog instead. Congratulations.
Anyway, about the photography: what happened was, my grandmother gave me her old Canon Rebel S II, which the internet tells me came out in 1992. I wouldn’t know, I was still 7 years away from being born in 1992. My first thought was “Wow, this thing survived a house fire. I wonder if it still works.” My second thought was “Didn’t I see some kinda shitty 90s themed contest on tumblr?” So I picked up some Ilford Delta 100 and tested her out. Good news–she works! Below are the coolest of the results:
This one was taken in a bar with no light and shaky drunk person hands. I call it “reflection of my financial status.”
This was taken in a public library. Makes me think of Neverland. And the times when I didn’t have to pay bills and taxes.
This was taken in a park, on purpose. It’s a reflection of my outside thoughts.
This was taken in the same park, on accident. It’s a reflection of my inside thoughts.
So, there you have it. Not sure if any of these pictures or the camera they were taken on would be classified as shitty, but I am at the very least mostly sure that it *is* from the 90s. At least, I think so. What do I know? I’m 23. Regardless, I hope this submission was at least amusing. (And don’t worry about the house fire, nobody died.)

"The Golden Room" in AHSOKA
The Golden Room
In the first trailer of the Ahsoka Series, scheduled to air on August 23rd, 2023, there is a captivating glimpse of what appears to be a "Golden Room". Enclosed within, we find a spacious chair positioned elegantly in front of a window, flanked by two droids. It is a peculiar sight, as the window's design deviates from what one might expect in the quarters or office of a Star Destroyer.
Reflecting on Star Wars Rebels Season 4's finale, where Ezra summons the enigmatic Purrgils to thwart Thrawn and his fleet on Lothal, we witness these remarkable space whales—possessing tentacles—seizing Thrawn, his entire armada, and making a breathtaking jump into hyperspace at lightspeed. In the wake of this daring feat, the Purrgils inadvertently shattered many of the Star Destroyer's windows.
It is plausible that Thrawn, in the aftermath of this incident, sought to restore this room with the assistance of the remaining Imperial staff, incorporating elements representative of his people, the Chiss. The result? A genuinely unique aesthetic with gilded arches bearing soft curves, a departure from the monotonous, uniform greys customary in the Empire's architecture. During San Diego Comic-Con 2023, the fascinating concept art of the Golden Room was unveiled, creating a buzz on social media with captivating photos. The intricate details showcased in this artwork shattered my belief that the Chiss were responsible for constructing the Golden Room. As a result, I have formulated a fresh theory that aligns with the newly revealed information.
When considering the idea of a private room on his Imperial Star Destroyer (ISD), I found it initially believable to see two droids stationed at operational consoles on the right and left. It would make sense for Thrawn to desire solitude in his quarters, potentially programming the droids to vacate upon his arrival and entry. Unlike the Chiss Ascendancy, the Empire incorporates droids as part of its crew, assigning them to perform mundane and repetitive tasks such as data transfer and calculations. However, Thrawn, despite his self-sufficiency, understands how to leverage their presence to his advantage. In Star Wars Rebels, for instance, he capitalizes on two Assassin Droids for combat techniques and training purposes.
Upon examining the concept art from SDCC, it becomes apparent that this room contains four droids and an abundance of technical equipment. This revelation has led me to reconsider my initial assumptions. It seems overwhelming to assume that this space belongs to Thrawn in his ISD. Detailed observation of the ceiling unveils gears that intricately move, resembling a clockwork mechanism. Furthermore, the shape and design resemble the two-dimensional star map logo in the AHSOKA Series Logo, both surrounding the letters and as a luminous three-dimensional element in the latest trailer, activated by Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth's touch. Morgan Elsbeth proves herself as a faithful confidant to Grand Admiral Thrawn in the trailer, where we witness her skillfully activating the luminous outlines of a star map. The majestic formation rises around her, resembling a magnificent cupola.
The intricate structure of the star map immediately reminded me of the detailed rack wheels in the artwork. It bears a resemblance to the ceiling of the Golden Room. Could this technical equipment be employed in creating the star map? Undoubtedly, it would require a sophisticated technique, deploying droids to wield its power.
Although I am not a gamer and have never played KOTOR I or II, I am familiar with the Rakatan species—an ancient civilization within the Star Wars universe that thrived approximately 25,000 years before the Battle of Yavin. Residing primarily in the Unknown Regions, their existence in the Legends' canon ended within 10,000 years. Interestingly enough, fan theories propose that the Rakatan might be responsible for creating the intricate star map showcased in the second trailer. This map seems to possess abundant information and details, encompassing various space regions and planets to a greater extent than other star maps. It is worth noting that Thrawn, with his cunning propensity, would undoubtedly exploit the potential of such a map. Pointedly, these maps are inherently driven by the Dark Side of the Force, a power that gradually corrupts the maps and those who utilize them.
Continuing my theory: What if, in the finale of Star Wars Rebels Season 4, the Purrgils, along with Ezra, Thrawn, and the entire 7th Fleet, traversed hyperspace and arrived in the territories of the Rakatan Empire? Imagine Thrawn and his crew stumbling upon derelict Rakatan ships, drifting through space in various states of disrepair while some remained grounded on the planet. This revelation would add a whole new layer of intrigue to the narrative.
In the book "Star Wars - Dark Force Rising," the revelation of the Katana Fleet resembles the vessels of the Rakatan fleet. Why not incorporate and adapt this concept from the Rakatan fleet?
The Ahsoka Series takes place approximately sixteen years after the conclusion of the Star Wars Rebels. It is speculated that Thrawn and his crew have restored numerous Rakatan ships. Notably, the concept art of this room differs from the typical design of Star Destroyer bridges or any known secondary bridge. Star Destroyers typically have limited space for star maps. The Golden room depicting the interior of a Rakatan ship offers an explanation for its unique, elegant, and alien-like appearance, as well as the presence of unfamiliar droids. It is believed that this room's technology was operated by Thrawn, who repurposed and utilized it after it was created by an intelligent species different from his own. It is intriguing to note that Force users are tasked with piloting the Rakatan ship, which potentially explains Thrawn's decision to forge a close alliance with Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth. Consequently, she gains access to the map. She is activating it in the presence of Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati, Force users who harness the Dark Side but are not Sith, on an unidentified planet, as depicted in the second trailer.
Thrawn, known for his minimalist approach, would likely utilize the Golden Room as either a secondary ship bridge or a star map room rather than a private space. His personal quarters would be stripped down to the essentials. Opting for a dimly lit environment, Thrawn would spend his time reviewing holograms, studying and analyzing art and artifacts, as well as devising his military strategies and tactics. The furnishings in his private space would be kept to a bare minimum, with a few monitors and operational areas being the only necessities. By minimizing distractions and surrounding himself only with objects of significance and purpose, Thrawn finds the tranquility needed to meditate. This portrayal is further supported by depictions in Star Wars Rebels, where Thrawn is often seen meticulously examining holographic displays, sculptures, artworks, and artifacts.
However, the Golden Room, depicted in the concept art, exhibits a distinct design style from the Chiss minimalist aesthetic. While it may not serve as Thrawn's personal chamber, its mechanical, functional, and elegant features would undoubtedly align with his purpose and advantage. This text was written with the great help of SWAG77.

hi rae, i was wondering if there was any specific reason for y regulus is the first one to leave/rebel in atwmd, and sirius being the one who is the most dedicated to being a death eater, bc their roles r inversed from what they r in canon, and im curious if there is a reason y u chose to do that or it was just something that worked better for the narrative (just to be clear bc the marauders fandom is a bit weird, this is a genuine question, im not shitting on your characterization)
lol appreciate the clarification dw tho i get what ur asking! it's mostly explained in the fic in pt ii + the reg pov ch, but happy 2 summarize & explain the thought process etc.
atp i no longer remember if i was planning 2 have reg be working w the order or just be dead when i first started the fic, but i decided pretty early on that i wanted him 2 have a locket-arc similar 2 canon & to be seemingly dead when the fic begins bc i love giving s a dead brother <3 & from there i decided it would work better 2 have him secretly be alive + joined up w the order bc that helps explain how s comes around 2 working w them. so then i had 2 figure out how 2 make that fit both their characters!
the thing abt this fic is that i'm still writing it trying 2 preserve like...what i personally view as the characters' core traits/key parts of their personalities from canon, just transplanted into a completely different world. so s is actually still less dedicated 2 the d.e. than reg in this fic; s is essentially forced 2 join the d.e. the way that some parents ship their gay kids off 2 military school (in the u.s. at least), but bc of the way he was coerced into it he resents the d.e. from the beginning & even tho he's internalized many of the prejudices he grew up with he still has a pretty strong moral compass that creates this ongoing internal conflict w what he's doing. at the same time, the power he gets from becoming a higher-ranking d.e. is what allows him 2 then go let loose & like...fuck around + be gay, essentially, without fear of repercussions, bc he can basically do whatever he wants in private (even if it becomes a bit of an open secret) as long as he's got this scary public-facing persona. so he chafes against pureblood society more throughout childhood + into adulthood, but he's also powerful + charming + able 2 succeed in that world.
reg, on the other hand, doesn't rebel the same way s does growing up + kinda flies under the radar, which would be fine in theory--except reg does want 2 be powerful + recognized, & he develops this sort of inferiority complex + almost resentment of his brother in some ways. that's why he compares s 2 a sponge in his pov ch; even tho s kind of protects reg growing up by taking up their parents' negative attention, he also soaks up all the positive attention, and reg ends up feeling forgotten. as they get older, this same dynamic is echoed in school, where s gets shit on 4 being gay but also is undeniably magnetic + talented, and reg doesn't understand why his brother can't just be normal bc he'd be so popular if he didn't insist on like. being so open abt who he is. & then s joins the d.e. + suddenly he's like this entirely different person & everyone is scared + in awe of him, and he doesn't have time 4 reg anymore. & even tho reg has resented him 4 soaking up all the attention, s is also the only person who's actually paid attention 2 reg in turn, and suddenly that's gone, and he feels even more invisible. so he goes + does this fancy difficult alchemy program but even then nobody seems 2 care, so he finally decides 2 join the d.e. himself bc he wants 2 become a powerful + noticeable person the same way his brother is.
so as in canon, reg actively decides 2 join the d.e. in this fic, and wants 2 be there. but when he joins s pulls the same old trick: he starts soaking up all the attention, suddenly becoming one of voldemort's best soldiers. & for s he's trying 2 protect his brother from being noticed + used for horrible things, but bc he's doing such a good job of it reg doesn't even know what he's being protected from, and he resents s 4 stealing the spotlight again. so reg decides he'll have 2 get voldemort's attention some other way, & he starts paying really close attention 2 things + picking up information he probably shouldn't, which leads 2 him figuring out about the horcruxes on his own--but through that process, he realizes how stupid he's been 2 join the d.e. & like...the depths of depravity in the organization, & ironically by trying 2 impress voldemort he's learned way too much & essentially doomed himself, bc he knows voldemort will kill him if he finds out, and he will find out eventually. so in his frustration + hopelessness reg decides "fuck it if i'm gonna die i'm gonna go out swinging" & goes after the horcrux on his own, & that's when the order intercedes bc they've been after this same horcrux, & james saves his life, & then he's like hey wanna join the order. & reg is like well. what else am i gonna do i basically need 2 kill voldemort now if i ever want 2 show my face in britain again.
so even tho this leads 2 reg rebelling + joining the order rather than s, the roles aren't actually meant 2 be inverse to canon! in fact, the reason s doesn't rebel is largely bc he's trying 2 protect his brother, and then once reg is dead he's just kinda going thru the motions. he's a product of his environment & so there's only so far his questioning goes; he disagrees w a lot of pureblood society but doesn't really question the foundational assumptions (wizards + muggles are inherently different; wizards r superior 2 muggles) + still goes along w the path of least resistance even when it eats at him, etc. but ironically from the pov of basically anyone who didn't grow up w them it seems like reg rebelled + joined the order, even tho reg was the one who actually wanted 2 join the d.e. (unlike s!) so their actions kinda flip-flop, but their motivations remain the same as in (my interpretation of) canon: reg decides 2 join the d.e. + then changes his mind + works against them; s acts out against his family + gets punished for it + ends up doing his best 2 protect those he's loyal to + himself--only in this world, when he acts out + gets punished there's nowhere 4 him 2 turn, and the main person he's loyal to is reg, so he has 2 figure out how 2 protect himself & his brother as a d.e. fun!

name: qi rong nicknames: prince xiao jing, night touring green lantern age: 800 years old, appears to be in his early 20's gender: trans male, he/him species: ghost (wrath level) occupation: self-proclaimed ghost king sexuality: demisexual demiromantic tropes: the friend nobody likes, inadaquate inheritor, green and mean abilities: ghost flame lock, manipulation, skilled chef, survival
verses
canon i // xianle; it starts in terror, the son of a runaway princess and the guard she had fallen in love with. by the time qi rong was five, however, the abuse had gotten to be too much for his mother, and she ran with her son. all the way back to her sister's home, begging sanctuary from the queen of xianle. it was granted, and qi rong became prince xiao jing, but even that title didn't save him from the bullying. only his elder cousin, six years older than he, was kind, and as such... qi rong would be the first worshipper of the eventual heavenly official.
canon ii. // life after death; the fall of xianle, at the hands of his father's people, hurt the de facto crown prince. his cousin was gone, having left with his parents and underlings, but qi rong... was left to die in the palace. left to take the punishment the rebels had chosen for the royal family. ... was it any wonder that after becoming a ghost, he would choose to seek revenge and orchestrate the death of the royal family of yong'an?
canon iii. // canon events; he's a calamity, the night-touring green lantern, and that means that he's important. (right?) that means that he belongs, that he's worthy of being spoken of in the same breath as crimson rain sought flower or black water submerging ships. so what if they're supremes and he's still just a wrath? the next time mount tonglu opened, he'd definitely get in. and gain the ranking he deserves. just ask his underlings, or the useless son he's totally just keeping around for a snack. that's all.
canon iv. // post-canon; life as a ghost flame is... not great, but it does give him some time to think. and he guesses that the brute of a god lang qianqiu isn't doing a horrible job taking care of his son. (he no longer has the body of the boy's actual father, but... that's his son.) it definitely helps that he won't be hurt, so long as guzi is so obsessed with keeping him safe, and bringing him home. soon. soon.

Decoding the scripts and secret messages in Rebel Moon
Part 4: The hidden message on the Priests and Scribes’ outfits
In this final part, I will be using pictures from Gizmodo, Bleeding Cool, Insider, and Home Grown Radio.
After I noticed that the red robes worn by the Scribes and the Priests in the movie were adorned with golden letters from the Old Imperium script, I looked for more pictures of them to help me understand how the alphabet worked, but also because they clearly formed words and I wanted to decode that too!
I said in my previous post that I believed they had made a mistake, and here’s why. When I tried to decode the sentence, I found this:
The underlined letters are doubled (and it’s precisely when I studied the robes that I understood this rule), but while “ALL” is definitely a word, “DISALLEAR” isn’t… As you will soon see, the letter P appears elsewhere on the outfit and looks exactly like what I expected it to (shape “II-5”) after figuring out how the alphabet worked, so I don’t understand why this one seems to be an L (shape “II-2”) instead. Either I’m wrong and double letters don’t work as I concluded they do, or it’s a typo.
In any case, after I had gathered a few pictures and decoded the letters (assuming the apparent double L was an inconsistency), I ended up with this:
If you’re a person of culture (which I’m apparently not; thanks, Google), you may have already recognized a quote from the second part of the famous German tragedy Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe:
All that must disappear Is but a parable; What lay beyond us, here All is made visible; Here deeds have understood Words they were darkened by; The Eternal Feminine Draws us on high.
The quote is also on their masks, where their mouth is, and on their hats:
Interestingly, on the former, the symbol we’ve seen used previously as a semicolon or a question mark is now a period. On the latter, many things look different: words are all fully spelled out, the symbol used for double letters simply seems to be part of the E, L, and S, capitalized letters are slightly taller than the others, spaces are actual spaces, and the opening brackets that usually symbolize them became other characters. It appears the font has gone through several alterations during the making of the movie, and I’m not certain which version is the “canon”, final one. In any case...
There is a secret text hidden on the outfits worn by the Scribes and Priests in Rebel Moon: a quote from Faust, Part Two by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe about the Eternal Feminine.
And… I’m done! For now, at least; until The Scargiver comes out and (hopefully) gives me new secrets to decode. Thank you for reading :)

ngl the claims that have been making rounds on Twitter saying Aegon would make Aemond's bastard heir and marry him to Jaehaera are giving me massive headaches. I just can't believe how the same people are losing their minds at Helaemond theories (which they have every right to disagree with and dislike obviously, but they're harassing people over them) because it would make the Greens look like hypocrites and the Blacks would make fun of us yet at the same time push their even more delusional headcanons about Aemond's bastard on the rest of the Green fandom. My brother, your headcanons are arguably worse and Team Black is going to have a field day with us if they ever become canon or close to it. You can't possibly fight against Rhaenyra's Strong bastards inheriting the throne yet push for Aemond's Strong bastard (made with another Strong bastard) to be legitimised and be Aegon's heir.
For real, even if the boy turns out to be trueborn and Aemond stupidly married his mother, Aegon still wouldn't name him his heir, if anything he would name his own bastard heir. He would never have the support to do it from the remaining green lords and has no dragons left to impose his will on them. For example why should the Baratheons support such a move??? That kid would a reminder to them about Aemond NOT respecting his betrothal and spurning their daughter! It would be a slap in the face to support him, swearing allegiance to the Blacks would be a better move instead. And I'm not even accounting the Black lords who at that point had more military power than Aegon/the remaining Greens and would obviously oppose such a move. Do they really believe that Cregan Stark would stand for this? LMAO. Everyone would've rebelled against the Kinslayer's son with a bastard woman and alleged witch becoming their king. Like it or not, Jaehaera marrying Rhaenyra's son was the best move as it united both Aegon II's claim and Rhaenyra's. Aegon III was always the best choice for her and it also had the support of lords from both sides. Aemond's son would've caused further problems.
Also, like you've already pointed out by using the text from F&B, it's crazy for them to claim Al*s did not care about the Iron Throne when in reality she demanded those knights to bend the knee to her son, calling him trueborn and real king. If she really wanted to raise her kid in peace she would've released her hold onto Harrenhal and disappear with her son somewhere far away, but no, instead she actually put him in danger by claiming he's the real king. Now of course those people would probably argue that fighting for their child's claim was Al*s' way of honoring Aemond and their pure, genuine and tragic love, but let's be real, it's not hard to figure out why she actually did it.
It's simply insane how many Greens believe and are rooting for such a scenario. It's delusional and makes us look like the fandom's biggest fools. That kid will most likely end up dead (best case scenario he disappears and will never be heard from again) in Fire & Blood part 2, even more if Al*s raises him and instills into him the belief that he's the real heir and King and causes problems to King Aegon III, like trying to instigate a rebellion against him (and honestly this is probably why GRRM created him in the first place - to cause future problems to the Iron Throne). In that case the crown would have no option left but to kill him together with his mother and trust me, Daemon's sons would not hesitate to do just that. We also know Harrenhal will eventually be given to the Lothston family in the 150s which only means that Al*s and her son were dealt with one way or another. Now of course those people have further theories about that boy founding House Whent (making him the ancestor of the Stark kids from the main series) but the theory is even more crazy and delusional, has no basis and the timeline doesn't even match given the fact that the Whents were given Harrenhal decades after the Lothstons. Also why, just why would GRRM make Al*smond the Starks' ancestors. It serves no narrative purpose.
i agree with pretty much everything you said
as for the whent theory, idk enough lore to be able to argue if that would be plausible or not, but the only reason i saw people care about this theory beyond the romance of it is that "alicent's bloodline doesn't die out"
personally i'm far more interested in jaehaera, but i do have to wonder why the "we don't care about bloodlines continuing" position has turned into support for this theory. maybe the tb stans got to them, idk
but yeah, beyond the whent theory, which i can't really comment on, i think it was really funny that not only people believe aegon ii would marry his brother's son with a bastard and a witch to his daughter, but that he'd name him his heir and that it would be 100% a smart decision to make
i can tell you this: you dont even have to read f&b to see and foresee how that would be a bad decision beyond it being a fantasy because aegon ii wouldn't do that
and it's even funnier that it comes from fellow "greens", especially when some of them have the audacity to be so loud about other bastards
alys was a bastard and unlike luke and jace, she's unlikely to have a noble mother, and it'd be unlikely that she and aemond would marry, but even if that son would be "true born", he would still be the son of a bastard woman known to be a witch and neither the greens nor team black supporters would stand for this
aegon ii was seeking to make more true born heirs and part of the peace agreement was for jaehaera and aegon iii to wed
and i think funnier still was the idea that aegon would castrare aegon iii and send him to the wall 💀 i think people don't understand the fragile situation that the greens were in at the end of the dance and how keeping aegon iii unharmed was key to appeasing the team black supporters

Remember episode 14 when Shinji tries to synchronize with Unit 00 and he briefly sees an image of a younger Rei with a psychotic expression?
It's canon that every Evangelion needs a human soul to be put into it in order to function.
Unit 01 has Yui's. Unit 02 has part of Asuka's mother (which is the reason why she went insane, she was missing part of her soul)
While it's never explicitly stated it is extremely probable that Unit 00 contains a part of Rei's own soul, most likely taken after her first death.
When Armisael goes into her mind Rei even wonders if she's speaking to "the me that is in the Eva"
One common theory is that, after Rei II's death alongside Unit 00's destruction both halves of Rei's soul were reunited into Rei III, which would explain why she could then fly and create an AT Field just like Kaworu, since Rei actually has Lilith's soul much like how Kaworu has Adam's.
It's actually speculated that this may be an additional reason why Rei rebelled against Gendo: Rei II was already starting to have some doubts against the man due to Shinji's influence but that half of her soul was clearly in great pain inside the Eva, leading to Unit 00 going berserk twice, so once that piece of her came back to her it probably further pushed her into resenting Gendo
Interesting! I was actually wondering who was Rei's "mother" inside Unit 00.
So the soul that powers Unit 00 is the soul of the child who was strangled to death for a petty reason? No wonder it's so unstable...

FebruarOC - Uriah
Hey hi hello did you know i'm obsessed with this guy? As I said in SWBC, I can't stop spinning him around like a rotisserie chicken in my head.
I created his counterpart Kaedmon a few months ago (and I'll talk about her at the end of the month as a bonus character) and came up with Uriah in January! He's only slightly less new than Quin and Horatio, but I named them all at the same time.
For January in SWBC, we read Phasma. My thoughts on the book aside, the framing narrative was someone in the First Order apprehended a Resistance pilot and then fudged the paperwork or something I guess so that there was no record of her being arrested and held on the ship and dragged her away to question her about Phasma. I have so many questions, but the biggest one came down to: Why are you going to nickname your rival Resistance spy/pilot Starling and the all-red armored NOT Elrik Vonreg from SW Resistance First Order guy Cardinal and NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THAT? Honestly I got a lot more mad about that than I did anything else in the book, because everything else I just shrugged off but that was the biggest missed opportunity. Also his "I love the First Order and everything it stands for" to "what am I doing with my life (but I still love the first order)" took a grand total of like 48 hours TOPS and wasn't... good. It just wasn't well done.
So I came away from that book CRAVING spy v spy content. And, well, my Jedi OC is also a Fulcrum agent, so like, it made sense, right, to then make an ISB agent to be against her?
I settled on his ISB designation before I did a name and it was mostly as a joke that had made sense to me at the time?? But now he's ISB-789 and Kaedmon calls him "Hungry 8's" and when he goes "???" she says "you know, because seven ate nine?" and he asks "Not to encourage this but then shouldn't I be hungry 7's?" and she says "No :)"
He's 20 at the end of the clone wars, and a full agent of ISB by 25, so that makes him about 40 by the end of the galactic civil war. He's from a planet at the far end of the Outer Rim, close to Wild Space but still part of the imperial "jurisdiction" (I haven't settled on any currently existing planet or not), but because he's great with accents to help him blend in, he's able to immediately adapt the core world accent. (he's not that great with the languages tho) He has a younger sister who he helped put through a fancy school on Coruscant and she's a nature photographer; their parents still live back on their home planet, despite Uriah offering to help them live in the Empire.
More recently for SWBC we read Battlefront II: Inferno Squad and that is truly what made me start rotating him around even faster in my brain -- they're not ISB, but they're working for ISB and they go undercover into a rebel op to try and destroy it and/or find a data leak and now THAT IS THE SPY SHIT I WANTED and so instead of creating a character out of frustration I just started spinning him at warp speeds to pick up any of the stray pieces of inspo floating around. But more to the point, it was a good exercise at listening to Imperial minds in a way that didn't make them see like big joke clowns like can happen.
So it'll be fun to lean into that when writing for Uriah because you get to see him fully believing in what he's working for, as a field operative infiltrating smuggling rings and drug gangs etc to make the galaxy a better place in the early part of the Empire -- but then as it goes on longer and longer and he gets more involved (tangentially) with the rebellion through Kaedmon, and ISB/the empire being less and less interested in investigating corruption in certain aspects, that building disillusion with their place and so on.
And not to "diversity win!" the empire, but he's a trans guy! He gave himself the gift of top surgery after being accepted into the Imperial Academy.
In my thoughts about how they interact with canon, I did jot down that Uriah probably knows Kallus as they're about the same age and ISB agents -- though while Kallus went on to be as you see him in Rebels, Uriah does mostly undercover work. So when Kallus joins the Rebels, Kaedmon will get to know him... and when Uriah finds out that Kallus is also Fulcrum, he about loses his whole damn mind and probably pulls a muscle laughing so hard.
I did write like 2200 words of an outline for him and Kaedmon, and I was fully going to sit down and write how the two of them met but my brain has been absent like all evening so I'll probably do a double big drabble for the two of them at the end of the month.

When Luffy collapses at Marineford, its holder comes forward and offers to use her powers rather than let him have a second hormone injection from Iva. The power is not without its risks, but Luffy does not hesitate to accept. If he had a chance to be stronger—or to bring a stronger him in his place, even temporarily—then he would take it. Athena Cykes is, maybe, a little nervous about how this is going to go—not to mention a little lost as to why Mr. Wright wanted her specifically here. I will add other chapter-specific content warnings as needed, but those are pretty much constant for the whole fic so I won’t be repeating them. Rated E for some sexually explicit moments, though no full smut scene. Some of them are dubiously consensual/partially non-consensual. The chapters will have warnings ahead."

It didn't matter, though. They'd find a way to navigate any difficulty, any complexity. And change didn't have to be a bad thing, even when it muddied boundaries. (Sometimes, you need to muddy clear water to make visible something so transparent as to become invisible.)"

South Park - Stan Marsh, Kenny McCormick - Whumptober 2023, Flatline, Baseball, Commotio Cordis - Rated T - "It was dead heat, the ambient noise rushing over me as chaos which was so constant in my life turned to a dull buzz. My eyes met the pitchers as he threw the ball again. A one in a million chance of bad luck. The yelling from the dugout made me react just a touch too slow, I swung my bat as Kyle and Cartman screamed and tried to hit. It knocked back against my bat with force as the baseball smacked me hard directly in the chest. Dull buzzing in my head, I was suddenly hyper aware of my heartbeat. Things slowed down as the crowd kept repeating something. Like I forgot how to speak English. What did they want me to do? Run? I took a step forward then another, my whole body slow. That sun was burning my arms and face but some other feeling overcame me. A horrible dread as I felt my oxygen cut off, my body slow, my blood thicken. I looked down to see myself going up to the sun. The buzz of the crowd gone, the fighting in the background gone, the pain of sunburn gone. I was at peace."
Love Languages by NoseBridgePinch
South Park - Stan Marsh/Wendy Testaburger - Whumptober 2023, Floral Bouquet, Abortion - Rated T - "Wendy sat up straighter as Dr Evans took a seat to assess her symptoms. “I was watching a movie with my boyfriend when I started to throw up. I fell asleep soon after but woke up still feeling nauseous.” “Okay so this just came up. We should have the results in just a moment.” Dr Evans continued Wendy’s exam before Natasha came in with the results. Wendy held her breath as the doctor looked over her clipboard. “Your paperwork said you did not want to keep the baby?” Natasha asked. Wendy squared her shoulders, trying to look brave. “Yes that’s right.” “So your pregnancy test was positive. We’ll give you some information from Unplanned Parenthood to set up an appointment.” Dr Evans said. Wendy felt her face flush, it was way too hot in this doctor’s office. She didn’t want to faint but she leaned over and threw up in the trash once more."

Design and Build Quality Image Quality Performance and Battery Life Video Capabilities Connectivity Conclusion FAQWhat is the price of the Canon EOS Rebel T7? Does it have a touch screen? What is the battery life? Is it good for low-light photography? Design and Build Quality The Canon EOS Rebel T7 is one of the lighter DSLRs on the market, weighing just 1.75 pounds with the battery and SD card. Its dimensions are 5.1 x 3.9 x 3.1 inches, making it relatively compact. The camera's grip is wrapped in textured rubber, providing a comfortable and secure handhold. Although the body is mostly plastic, the build quality is reasonable given its price point. The camera's external controls are well-marked and provide quick access to essential shooting parameters like ISO, white balance, focus, and drive modes. The internal menu is logically arranged, making it easy to navigate through various settings. Amazon check Image Quality The T7 excels in delivering good image quality, especially under well-lit conditions. Colors are vibrant and well-saturated, even in Auto and Standard picture styles. The camera's evaluative metering does an excellent job of balancing exposure, even in challenging lighting conditions like bright beach scenes. The 18-55mm kit lens captures good details, making it versatile for various shooting scenarios. The T7's ISO range is from 100 to 6400, with a Hi setting of 12,800. This range is sufficient for most scenarios, such as indoor parties with some light. The camera handles high ISO settings competently, keeping noise under control and retaining details up to ISO 6400. Amazon check Performance and Battery Life The T7 offers continuous shooting at up to 3 frames per second, which is adequate for most casual photography needs. Its nine-point autofocus system works best in high-contrast scenes and is generally fast enough for most applications. Battery life is rated at 600 shots per charge when using the viewfinder. However, this can drop to between 250 and 260 shots if you use Live View or other features like flash and Wi-Fi. Video Capabilities The T7 sticks to the basics when it comes to video, offering full HD recording at 30 frames per second. While it doesn't support 4K, the video quality is generally good, with accurate color reproduction and sharp images. Connectivity The T7 offers Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth connectivity options.
