The way this adaptation hit all the big lore and plot points but also made time for the tiniest details that spoke so much about the characters was honestly so great to see, the show creators obviously had so much understanding and respect for the original source material, which is so rare nowadays.

I am so sick of Netflix cancelling any show that doesn’t do amazingly right from the start, you need to give it time to grow an audience, develop the characters, evolve! Look at all the sitcoms that exists this what they are all about like the office was really not that good in the first season and still got so many more and not every show can have the same success as stranger things! It really pisses me off bc all we end up with are the same generic shows and every time something is a bit different or very creative it gets to be left unfinished and it is such a disrespect of the art itself, the creation, the people who worked on it, the fans who for dbd were there like for many shows

anyways looks like Netflix doesn’t like ghosts, or detectives, or gay characters at this point like can we get anything with more than one season
