Loser!luke who never touched a woman his entire life.

the childish ambience of camp never really left much space for normal teenagers activities, such as getting drunk and having sex- but he was almost 19 and had no experience whatsoever.

The best he got was his own fist, which was never put to use much anyways because of how busy he was.

So once you arrived at camp- all promiscuous and much more experienced in real life that he ever will be- he was completely captured by you.

You were new to the life in camp halfblood, and have lived through your teenagerhood without a single thought of playing around with swords all day.

You didnt even like to be there, and often caught breaking the rules; maybe smoking on the creek or getting drunk with the satyrs.

Luke was taken aback by your rebellious spirit, it was news to him, and it got him curious.

Whenever he needed to help you out with stuff, he would stumble on his own feet, or get incredibly red after a look you spared him.

It was ridiculous, really. He himself felt ashamed of how much you affected him, yet, he couldn’t help it.

You, on the other hand, immediately took notice of his body language, and often used it against him.

The life pace at camp was boring, and getting Luke flustered was the most entertaining activity in your opinion.

Such an innocent boy he was, I didn’t take lot to realize he was a virgin, and maybe didn’t even give his first kiss yet.

That was an exaggeration, obviously, but who knew.

You liked the idea of corrupting him. Of showing him what being a teen was actually like.

So you slowly started to make him try different kind of stuffs. Starting from a simple puff of a cigarette, to getting drunk and skinny dipping in the lake.

He could never say no to you anyways. Not when breaking the rules (something he wasn’t used to do at all) felt so good.

The perfect head counsoler- who everybody looked up to as an example- running around after curfew go get a taste of a cheap vodka you got from the Dionysus’s kids.

Obviously, all of this had to lead to more at one point.

Specifically, it led to you lying in your bed, looking at the ceiling in silence. Silence which you broke.

• they all have amazing penmanship.

• they help with any school/summer work when a camper needs it.

• they also offer a free tutoring service to other campers.

• they have a long list of study tips for demigods, including what has worked for them to help focus their adhd in school (as most demigods struggle with remaining on task in work environments).

• they secretly love police procedural/detective shows. law & order, criminal minds— you name it, they watch it. and there's always a "friendly" competition to see who can solve the crime first.

• someone engineered glow-in-the-dark paper for late-night studying and planning. they always have a huge supply.

• they have a pet owl that they all take turns feeding and looking after.

• they help organise camp events that aren't run by chiron and they have a calendar full of birthdays and dates that are special to other campers.

• they are the only people on earth to have discovered a constantly comfortable reading position.

• they all start to feel slightly nauseated if they're in water for too long. showers, the lake, a pool, the rain— any water. this comes from athena's rivalry with poseidon. the only way for it to be neutralized is if they are in the presence of a friendly child of poseidon.

• some of them trap spiders and use them in experiments. this helps them gain more knowledge, combat their fears, and take revenge on these spiders all at the same time.

• they aren't normally ones to break rules. however, they rarely go to bed on time. when other campers ask them why, they simply laugh and say, "we're all night owls." (get it? i’ll stop. 😔)

• they aren't scared of normal horror movies. they usually just laugh at how frustratingly stupid the characters are. the only movies that make them scared are ones where spiders are involved.

• they take monopoly way too seriously and take it as a personal affront that they keep losing to the hermes cabin.

• they have a website that you can only view inside of camp half-blood. it’s sort of a virtual log book, which makes it easy for the kids that have been away during the year or on quests to catch up on what they’ve missed.

• their cabin is designed in a classic greek architectural style, reminiscent of the parthenon, with tall, elegant columns supporting a triangular pediment.

• the cabin itself is made of grey, marble-like stone. the stone is etched with intricate designs and ancient greek patterns.

• the exterior features intricate carvings and statues of owls. they are perched on the roof of the cabin and integrated into the designs on the columns.

• carvings of books and scrolls are incorporated into the exterior design, highlighting the importance of knowledge.

• celestial bronze shields and pieces of armor are displayed on the inside and on the outside of the cabin. these items are both decorative and functional, ready for use if needed.

• their cabin gives off industrial vibes with its marble and concrete exterior.

• this is balanced out with beautiful ornate rugs, cozy woven blankets, and hardwood (olive obviously) floors.

• they have a caffeine station for pulling all-nighters or for long afternoons of studying, debating, and inventing.

• their cabin always smells like peppermint oil because spiders hate it.

• they have floor to ceiling bookshelves and boxes of rolled blueprints EVERYWHERE.

• they all have a customizable personal space with a bed, a desk with adjustable lighting, and ample storage for personal items and projects.

• personal areas feature soundproofing options to allow for quiet studying or rest amidst the bustling cabin environment.

cabin traditions

• they have debate nights at camp half-blood that get more and more heated until the cabins start watching the two opposing sides instead of listening to the actual debate.

• they even have debate nights in their own cabin. huge cups of coffee are passed around as the "discussion" of the day begins, growing louder and louder as time goes by. books are pulled from the shelves, laptops are opened and the most obscure sources are cited just to prove the most minor points.

it's less of a headcanon and more of a divinely correct vibe check. but like am i wrong...???? although I do see it more as they're the same flavour of ND with different presentations, like Connor is hyperfocus ADHD, and Macklin is inattentive (this comes from someone with mixed presentation ADHD¹, they also tried to diagnose me with austim but my legs were too long i make eye contact BUT!!! 93rd% "indicating that Cassie has many behavioural characteristics similar to youth diagnosed with ASD." raaaaa 💪💪💪 93% is an A!! i ace even the tests i fail!!!) Plus his rigidity with his diet, is bonkers for someone that young (and it's been going on since he was like 14-15)

Like especially with the way that Connor's constant practicing, after practice until the zamboni kicks him off, and then on off days and optional skates hiding his gear to make him take days off?? that is pretty classic hyperfocus ADHD. And especially with the way he blames the teams loses on himself, like please sir seeing you in the mirror is not good for my health!!

And with Macklin, people often mischaracterize inattentive ADHD with not being motivated or good at routine and while yes those two things are a normal part of human life, and more-so with ADHD, he has shown many times how deeply he cares about hockey........ but I think (and also remember i am projecting) his father being THAT hands on with him and his brothers training (even now which yuck, you have your own job get your grubby paws off of your kid's job) has made him unable to self propel, and get himself into that routine? (AND AGAIN I AM PROJECTING) like something Macklin has said a few times is how the shift to a pro-hockey schedule has been hard, and yes it is an adjustment, but he has been essentially living away from his parents for YEARS, two years boarding at Shattuckk, one year (presumably) billeting in Chicago while playing in the USHL, and one year in college at BU, and I think the real shift is that... daddy is planning his workouts again, full time not just summers (also, the travaling doesn't help) AND THAT (i am projecting) is HELL to someone who built a routine, and any hope of getting back into one was dashed when he went of IR for his hip after one game. the boy needs CONSISTENCY!!!!! And until they get him 1) away from his freak father who has his hands al over his development plan, and 2) on simple routine with max five types of days (home game, home practice, home rest, away game, away rest) he will not get situated.

the man loves rules and procedures. him at his first training camp all doe eyed and "wanting to make the team!" so much that Kyle Davidson... maybe it was Luke Richardson who said it...??? either way his coach or his GM pulled aside his MOTHER to tell them that they needed to start looking at apartments. Before getting drafted it was never "when" it was "if i get drafted".... like dude.... it's gonna happen! Whenever he get's sen't to the box its always a "they hate me, don't they know I am unable to break rules!! not because they don't apply to me but because I can NOT break rules!" vibe (I am only kinda projecting on this one)

and I do think the type of media around them during their developmental years up has affected them, Macklin's media was always focused on his father, which reinforced his reliance/dependence on him, whereas Connor's was focused on him which encouraged him to focus on himself and what HE can do to improve.

Mini Mac # 40 : fireball bath time

Savage doens't like baths, 😔

Macaque was cleaning Savage, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say he was trying to clean her. The lil wiggling worm wouldn't stop squirming around. She twisted herself in every way to escape his claws, sometimes even pawing at his hands in the vain of hope of deterring him. Macaque wasn't deterred. She was covered in mud and it would dry if he didn't clean her soon. How did she get this dirty? He honestly didn't know. He turned away for one minute and the next thing he knew his daughter's bright fur was covered in mud. She was always quite difficult when it was bath time. She preferred grooming. But grooming could only get you so far when your whole body was covered in mud. 

“Come on, firecracker. Be nice to dad, okay?” Cooed Macaque as he tried to lower his daughter into the bowl filled with fresh water drawn from a nearby river. Savage pouted (her expression very similar to Rumble's) and splashed Macaque. The black-furred monkey brushed his wet air away and frowned at his giggling fireball. “Yes, this is so funny, splashing dad is funny isn't it?” Savage chuckled, her laughter echoing all around them like the sound of a chime. 

“Adaaaa, aaal et.” Babbled Savage as she reached towards Macaque with her chubby lil paws. Recently, she started to babble a lot. Macaque was hoping she would say her first word soon. The black-furred monkey nodded, acting like he understood his daughter langage perfectly. 

“Ada al et, indeed.” Nodded Macaque. He battled with his daughter for a few more hours. Once she was finally clean, he put her in the crib with her slumbering brother. Rumble was curled around his doll, his face pressed against the silk blanket. Macaque brushed away the fur falling on the cub's forehead and kissed his head. Savage crawled towards her brother and curled around him. She liked to do that to latch on his warmth. Macaque found the sight unbearably cute. 

“You managed to clean the lil monster?” Asked Bajie as he sat near the fire camp. Macaque hummed and looked up from the crib. 

“Yeah, she's finally mudless. And all her fights made her tired.” Sighed Macaque as he rubbed his shoulders, being bent all the time to clean Savage made his back wince a little. 

“I swear your brat can teleport. That or she's very fast.” Snorted the pig, Macaque couldn’ t agree more. 

“What are you stirring tonight?” Asked the black-furred monkey, it smelled quite good, Bajie definitely improved since his first try. 

“Plums stew and Ao Lie stop eating grass before dinner!” The dragon-horse looked up from the batch of grass he was munching on, he did that a lot in his horse form. 

“But I'm hungry.” Sighed the dragon-horse. 

“You wait a few minutes, you glutton.” Huffed Bajie. 

“Put something warm on your back, it helps a lot.” Advised Sanzang as he turned towards Macaque. 

“Yeah, thanks kiddo. Any news of Wujing and Wukong?”Asked Macaque. 

“They're still patrolling for demons ahead. They'll come back after a bit.” Answered the monk, he then added more nervously : “I hope…”

Macaque snorted at the monk's nervosity, some things never changed. He then turned towards the crib at the sound of a sleepy mrrps. Rumble eyes were half-open, he was trying to push away his sister who was latching on him like an octopus. Macaque chuckled and went to aid him. Savage tended to squeeze the life out of her brother sometimes. 

After dinner, Macaque curled next to the crib and fell asleep. He woke up some hours once Wujing and Wukong came back. 

“You're back?” Mumbled Macaque as he rubbed his eyes. He saw out of the corner of his eyes Wujing preparing himself to sleep. Wukong laid next to Macaque and the crib and sighed, he looked quite upset. “Everything is okay?” Asked Macaque, a bit worried. 

“I… We’re approaching a demonic city…” Mumbled Wukong. 

“Oh we gotta avoid it then.” Replied the black-furred monkey.

just remembered prime autism moment from when i was in cub scouts. whenever we’d go on the summer camping trip (in a cabin) id bring like…15 plushies with me and line them up at the bottom of the bed during inspections. and because of me they created a new rule: only one soft toy allowed during summer camping trips. so what did i do? not even with the INTENT of being devious or anything?

It is rather funny watching Chiron slowly narrow his eyes at you as he debates if that really was a curse word you just said.

-You do miss home sometimes… You were born and raised in Puerto Princesa, so you wouldn’t have to go too far to see the beautiful blue glittering sea. The water in New York? Let’s just say it didn’t have that same… Charm… -You get homesick quite often, missing the simple things you used to do like doing the Sabang X Zipline. You never understood why you loved the thrill of that zipline just as much as the tourist if not more, that is until you realized you were a Demigod. 

-The main thing you missed was the food from Baker’s Hill. It was a downright crime that Americans didn’t get to enjoy ube hopia or worse of all that they didn’t enjoy siopao bola bola! You did at least have the pleasure to introduce the campers to the wonderful desert of Halo-halo. With just that you quickly became very popular among the campers.

-It wasn’t easy but you began to adjust to your life as a demi-god. Though it didn’t feel like home just yet you were starting to adjust, make friends and learn how to survive against monsters. It was scary at first, being somewhere so different from home but Camp Half-Blood welcomed you with open arms. And now? Now you are looking forward to your next adventure.

-Being born and raised in Quezon City you had adjusted well to large crowds, so moving to New York wasn’t nearly as bad as you had worried it would be. Though with all the concrete buildings you were nervous for your new life.

-You have grown accustomed to the beautiful gardens with playgrounds, fountains and of course the world peace bell monument. Not to mention all the wonderful wildlife centers with all sorts of animals from crocodiles to peacocks!

-Thankfully as you get to camp you’re surrounded once again by nature, though it was different there was an air of familiarity of nature. Little did you know by pure chance the man of your dreams would be there as well.

-Nothing but your pride was hurt thankfully, but seeing how worried he was couldn’t help but make you laugh even if you couldn’t understand half of what he was saying at the time. That does seem to help him relax a bit now that he ensured that you weren't hurt he couldn’t help but start to laugh a little too. 

-When people said that you ran head first into love you didn’t think they meant it literally, but that was how you met your future boyfriend. You still love to tease him about it and watch how flustered he gets, you couldn’t imagine your future without him now.

Despite the little joke I sent in another ask, I get her reasoning for not telling him, but man's not stupid. He's gonna figure out pretty fast he's about to become a father if he hasn't already. okokok soo there r a few different places u can start :33 there r like 4 campaigns that r easy to access.

there’s the main one Riptide!!! which is what i post about most :3 theres pirates and gay people and idk i’m really bad at summarizing things. but very much found family and a good mix of seriousness and silliness :] this playlist has all the episodes in order (108 episodes…. it’s very daunting. i stared watching at about 80 episodes i think?) it’s currently still going (and according to the dm, grizzly, about halfway through!)

the other on going camping is prime defenders !! idk anything about pd rlly, except that it’s like teenage/young adult superheroes? and i think it starts pretty lighthearted but gets way more serious. i barely know anything about this campaign tbh. i think there’s 5 episodes on the youtube and the rest is on patreon (there may be a totally approved playlist with the patreon episodes though. idk tho) this is the first episode tho !

then one of the two completed campaigns is APOTHEOSIS!!!!! i think apotheosis is tied with riptide for my fav campaign :] i think u might like apoth, idek know how to properly summarize it it’s so so good. like. godslaying, queer people, sex jokes, religion, angst, it’s amazing . i can’t pick a fav pc either it’s so so good. the first episode is on youtube and the rest (12 or 13 i think) are on patreon (i have a link to a totally approved and public playlist tho if u want it). it’s genuinely such a good campaign. i’m not an expert on it tho uhh if u wanna know more my good friend @/scrubbythebubble knows a lot about it :3

and last but not least BLOOD IN THE BAYOU!!!!!!!! ogh. i can’t even start this campaign is amazing. like horror? friendship? middle aged men? bugs? this is the campaign for u. charlie slimecicle is such a good dm. it’s a call of cthulu campaign but if u don’t know the mechanics they’re explained very well through the campaign . it’s genuinely so so good it’s given me the shivers so many times. the first episode is on youtube and the last 3 are on patreon. the last 3 episodes r audio only so i sadly don’t think there’s a totally approved playlist out there 😔 it’s rlly good tho just uh. quite a few content warnings
