Hello everyone!

Season 2 is alive and kicking and we’re eager to bring the drama and keep you on your toes! So far our incredible writers haven’t hesitated to dig in hard with the excitement pushing off from last season, but how will they face the challenges ahead? We’ve completed our first Event: The Festival of Moon and Tide. But now that everyone has had the chance to make peace around the fire, will it stay that way?

We at BVBRPG are so excited to say that October marks One Year of Blood V. Bone! It has been a wild ride; amazing plots, incredible writers, and fantastic events, and we couldn’t have done it without those who have stood by us. We hope another great year follows in its footsteps!

We welcome you to join us on our journey! Our next Acceptance Day is tomorrow, 10 October! We would love to see some of our canon figures helping take place in the middle of it all, as well as new OCs join the fray. Come join us to see what it’s all about!

There are a few people who we would love to see in action to join in the fun and the chaos of Sanctuary! It’s acceptance day!

With the murder mystery solved and justice delivered, some semblance of peace has returned to Sanctuary. However, different races have different feelings on the matter. The recent events - from the murder to the execution - have affected members of Sanctuary differently. Only time will tell if things would revert to how they had been before Snow’s Peak.

In the meanwhile, we have some crucial plot members that are needed here at BVB! One of them being the Bone King and leader of the Upyr, Gabriel Albescu. He is crucial to the Upyr and the future events between the Tribunal. We would love to have some interest in him! As the investigation continues, a mysterious weapon has been found at the scene of the crime days later making An Effort to Disturb the Peace even more intriguing. Was it missed the first time? While before the supernatural citizens were under the scanner, now even the humans have been brought under suspicion. Who killed Henlin? Is it a ploy by a fellow human to disturb the delicate balance of Sanctuary? As everyone seeks to find the killer (if only to clear their own name) it seems not everything in Sanctuary is as peaceful as it should be.

It's acceptance day! And we have some crucial plot members that are needed here at BVB! Our Bone King and leader of the Upyr, Gabriel Albescu, is crucial to continuing much of our current plot and future events between the Tribunal. We would love to have some interest in him! In our newest plot An Effort to Disturb the Peace, a dead body has been found which has incited some tensions between the supernatural and human factions. As everyone seeks to find the killer (if only to clear their own name) it seems not everything in Sanctuary is as peaceful as it should be. Due to a slight personal issue, the investigation continuance was delayed. It will be posted tomorrow, 15 January. We apologize for the delay.

THE STORY :

The only of his line of Upyr, Gabriel Albescu ascended to the Hollow Throne in 2232 after the untimely death of the previous King. As the youngest man to hold the title, Gabriel was obsessed with making his mark on the world. He closed the gates of the Court, restricting all travel to the outside world to the lower caste of hunters; gave more freedoms to those within his inner circle; and granted a Wicked a seat at the side of his Throne, a previously unheard of gesture.

While he sat on a sturdy throne and assured his subjects that their way of superior life was secure, the world seemed intent to crumble around him and prove him wrong. Human tribes ventured into Upyr territory less and less, and his people that had been starving for half a century were growing restless. Gabriel refused to be the last Bone King–the reason his people died out. When he was approached by Keeper Ayanna Cadeyrn about the possibility of uniting three fronts against the inevitable extinction of all, he laughed in her face and cast her out. It was not until his Wicked, Elise, came to him bearing a prophecy of Upyr destruction that he began to consider the Humans’ offer. With great reluctance, the Upyr community joined Sanctuary.

Gabriel has traveled with his entourage to live in Sanctuary for the foreseeable future. Ayanna’s rules regarding how the Upyr are supposed to live stirs dissent among his people, but Gabriel’s faith in Elise’s vision overpowers any objections he may have. Already he has lowered himself to allowing his people to mix with their food; the thought of watching them all die around him would be an insult to his pride he could not bear. He serves as a part of the Tribunal, forced to work alongside Ayanna and the Blood King in order to find a relatively peaceful means of coexistence for their peoples that eliminates any future worry of extinction. Should the idea of Sanctuary succeed, Gabriel would rather be on the inside rather than shut out from the rest of the world. He keeps Elise close to his side, heeding her whispers of the future and the disasters to come.
