Drinking wine at @CityClubLA. If wines confuse you....allow me to describe these red wines in a way that will make sense to wine connoisseurs, sommeliers, and everyday people. Bottles from left to right... 1. Is like a woman that has a fulfilling career but has a bad streak and a sealed juvenile hall record. Light on the pallate but she'll roofie you and steal your small electronics while you sleep. 2. Is a woman that looks ok with make up but works out every day so she's super fit. Has long legs but only has a 640 FICO Score. Not strong enough to buy a house but DOES qualify for Tier 3 auto financing. 3. Is a bad girl with tattoos. She's rough around the edges but can perform the splits and everything else. She has a job but wants a sugar daddy. A little spicy buy can be loyal if your finances are right. This is the view from my table at @CityClubLA. I came to a committee meeting and then to do some work on my laptop. As I sit here I realize that contrary to the popular saying, it is NOT lonely at the top. I'm surrounded by my lady and other wealthy friends. These people are well balanced in ALL areas of their lives... Spiritually, financially, emotionally, family, health, & loving relationships. I guess we attract similar frequencies and vibrations to where we are in life. It's NOT hard out here fo' a PIMP. Here I am with my Boo, @maryannemorcos The Urban Survival Chick....standing in front of our private wine locker at the @CityClubLA. The wine racks are being built and will be installed in a few days. We're looking forward to taking some awesome bottles from our home cellar...to the club. If any of you are lucky enough to be our guests at the City Club Los Angeles...we may just pull out a bottle of "Two Buck Chuck" to drink. Or maybe it will be a bottle from Trader Joe's for under $8 bucks. HOWEVER, if I'm in a good mood...you may end up having an exclusive vintage of a first growth "Chateau Petrus" or "Chateau Lafite-Rothschild." I'll decant it so you'll never know. If you're a real wine snob that drinks with a pinky in the air.... I'll put some boxed Wal-Mart Burgundy into an old "Latour Bottle!" That way we can enjoy watching you praise a $2,200 bottle that actually cost $4.99 for an entire gallon. Beware, lest you get punked :) We will be hosting another Networking Mixer at the club in March 2014. So... if you missed the one we held last week, that's ok...come next time. We had nearly 200 business professionals that all made new friendships. It was a real successful gathering. Here's a toast (raises a glass) to your health and that excellent glass of red wine that you'll enjoy with us.
