I absolutely love your writing!! And don't get me wrong, I love Lucifer, but they way you write Azreal and the Eveningstar family lives in my head 24/7. The AU where reader ends up with Azrael is my absolute fav to come back to, along with the main series it stemmed from. I'd love to see more content of him in general. I've been driving myself crazy imaging a part 2 to the AU with Lucifer wanting to reconnect with reader and having this family unit with them, only to realize that he lost them completely when he fell and that they've moved one and found happiness without him. Very hurt/no comfort for Luci while reader finally experiences a returned unconditional love with Azrael.

CH. 1 | CH. 4 | NAVIGATION

They finally have done it. Hazbin Hotel is finally booming in business, many sinners are finally checking in and giving redemption a try.

Though, Lucifer cannot help but be nervous. Heaven or specifically, the Seven Virtues requested a meeting with him and his daughter and along with Vaggie, they wanted to talk about the hotel and also about his punishment.

Why wouldn't he be nervous? The last time he was in a meeting with them, they absolutely crushed his hopes and dreams and to add to the fact that his first wife, now ex-wife is part of the organization.

Lucifer doesn't know how to handle it, he's afraid of how he'll act once he sees her and the fact that Charlie told him about his son that he left her with. Absolute guilt.

He misses her, he misses [y/n] so much and he regrets how he treated her. He neglected her, abandoned her and their son. Even after all these years, his heart still longed for her.

“Dad? You okay?” Charlie asked worriedly, holding her bag. Currently, they are waiting for the portal to heaven to open for their meeting tomorrow. She noticed that her dad seems to be in deep thought, she knows what's plaguing his mind—meeting his ex-wife again and seeing his son for the first time. She too is nervous about what will happen when that moment comes.

“The portal seems to be taking a long time to open.” Angel Dust snickered and Vaggie elbowed him on the side, somehow both Alastor, Niffty, and Angel Dust wanted to join them. Leaving the hotel underneath [f/n]'s care, another overlord who joined the hotel.

“You're really complaining when you're not even invited,” Vaggie muttered before turning to look at Alastor, “I am even surprised that even you also decided to join us, how come?” Vaggie deadpans at Alastor and the taller demon just laugh, radio static filling the air, “Myyy~! I am merely curious what the heavenly realms looked like. Nothing more~” He grins, quite mischievously. Vaggie narrowed her eyes at the radio demon.

Lucifer sighs and shakes his head and gives Charlie a small reassuring smile, “I'll be fine, I'm just a little... Nervous.” he admits softly and Charlie nodded in understanding, placing a hand over her father's shoulder. She understands him, she too is nervous in seeing her half brother. Last time she saw him, he was giving her judgmental looks.

“I'm sure we'll be fine... Maybe this will be your chance to reconnect with them?” Charlie suggested, hopeful that somehow the two families can find a neutral area to get along with each other. After all, she always wanted an older sibling or siblings in general. She hopes that she and Xavier can get along.

Lucifer smiled, he too is hoping that this meeting will be fruitful and won't go so horribly.

A golden portal opened in front of them and they looked at each other, nodding as they finally took a step inside.

Heaven, is very bright compared to hell. Too much white, gold, and blues.

The crew looked at Lucifer, urging him to take the lead as he did come from here. Lucifer sighs, despite the nervousness, he decides to approach the pearly white gates of heaven. Standing in front of the counter of Saint Peter. The others are following him.

“Welcome to heaven, can I get your names please?” Saint Peter asked, opening his book. Lucifer sighs, twiddling his thumbs nervously.

“Lucifer... Morningstar...” Lucifer says, almost a whisper. Cringing slightly as he watched the Saint slam his book close, “Oh... Fuck!” Saint Peter exclaimed with a nervous chuckle.

“Um... I wasn't aware that you will be visiting today...” the Saint said with an awkward chuckle, Angel Dust just smirked while Alastor just grins, clearly interested in what heaven has to offer.

Charlie stood nervously beside Lucifer, unsure what to do next.

“Saint Peter, please grant them access. They are here for an important meeting.” a young masculine voice says, surprising the hell citizens. Turning to look at the gate and their eyes widened to see an almost exact replica of Lucifer—except for the eyes and height.

Lucifer's eyes widened and Charlie can be seen to become more nervous as the young man approached their group.

Saint Peter eyes widened, not expecting to see the young general today. “R-right. Please, come in.. heaven officially welcomes you.” Saint Peter says, opening the gates wider for the group.

Lucifer couldn't think, his ears ringing as he looked at the newcomer. Lucifer examined the angel's appearance—an almost exact replica of him and of course, he knows those eyes very well. The same [e/c] eyes his ex-wife has. The angel wearing a white military-ish uniform with gold shoulder pads, elbow length black leather gloves and knee high leather black heeled boots.

Charlie gave his hand a gentle squeeze in assurance, he squeezed it back, grateful for her support.

Alastor grins, not expecting a twist in the scenario.

The young man turned to look at them with a gentle smile, “Greetings, I am Xavier. I am tasked with showing you guys where you will stay for tonight.” Xavier says.

Xavier looked at his obvious half family from hell, before, he had anger for them but because of his mother's influence, he was able to manage his anger on them. But it doesn't mean he'll accept Lucifer and Charlotte his family, he already has his own family in heaven. He doesn't need them.

“Please follow me and keep up.” Xavier says, almost emotionless. It's a habit of his, it might come off as rude or cold to people he just met but he doesn't care. His mother is the angel of kindness, he needs to inherit her kindness instead of his father's pride.

The hell citizens just looked at him with slight nervousness—aside from the smiling one—before eventually following him.

Lucifer just stared at the back of Xavier's head, the golden halo shining brightly against his light blonde hair. He wanted to speak to him but words wouldn't come out of his mouth. He just follows in silence, his demon kind just looking at him in worry—except Alastor, who just gave him a teasing grin.

They followed him, it took a while but they finally arrived at their destination. A large white mansion with black and gold accents, surrounded by fluffy white clouds and trees. Sunflower and tulip fields decorating the front garden. [Y/n]'s favorite flowers.

“This is where you'll be staying so please, come inside.” Xavier says, the gates to the large mansion opening for them.

They admired the scenery, it is completely different from hell. Clean and tidy. Almost blinding to the eye.

They finally arrived inside the large mansion, completely in awe with its exterior and interior designs.

“Don't worry about the palace being too crowded, it's just me and my family living here.” Xavier explained, ushering them to follow him. Walking towards the supposed living room, they weren't able to see the large family portrait on the wall as it was mounted on a wall that they couldn't see.

“I am surprised we're staying somewhere luxurious this time unlike last time. How come?” Charlie asked and Xavier gave her a raised eyebrow before sighing.

“The guest rooms are currently full while waiting for new buildings to be created for the new souls. The seven thought it would be a good idea if one of them houses you guys.” Xavier shrugs before continuing to tour them around. Angel whistling in admiration.

“And this will be your room.” Xavier says as he showed Lucifer his room. The others are already settled in.

“Thank you.” Lucifer says, almost a whisper as he went inside the large luxurious room. Xavier nodded as he stood at the doorway.

“It's nothing, I'll get going now and if you need me, I'll be in the living room.” Xavier says before turning around to leave.

“Wait!”

Lucifer doesn't know what he was thinking, he just acted out on impulse. Xavier stopped, turning around to look at him with a raised eyebrow.

“What is it?” Xavier asked, looking down on him. Mom, why is he so small? He thought.

Lucifer gulped, clearly nervous, “Are you... My...?” he couldn't get all the words out as his ears were ringing.

“Son?” Xavier completed, crossing his arms to look at his blood father, “Yes.” he says flatly and Lucifer's breath hitched.

Xavier sighs, already done with this, “Look, I am going to be straight with you dear father of mine.” Xavier says flatly, Lucifer looking at the taller boy in front of him.

“Just because you're my blood father doesn't mean I want you back in my life, whatever you're trying to do. I don't welcome it. I couldn't care less about you or my half sister. Do you understand? So, stop. Don't give me and my family a hard time. You've done enough damage already.” Xavier says coldly, catching Lucifer off guard. The fallen angel's heart shattered at the boy's harshness.

“Excuse me, I still have work to do.” Xavier says as he quickly walked away. Lucifer nodded, almost robotic. He went inside the guestroom and cried.

Lucifer doesn't blame Xavier for acting that way. After all, he's a horrible husband and father to [y/n] and Xavier.

Dinner was oddly awkward, a tension between the three blood relatives. Xavier didn't join them, opting to only have a drink instead.

“Aren't you going to eat?” Charlie asked hesitantly as she sat beside her dad, Xavier didn't bother looking up from his golden holographic screen that came from his wrist watch, his other hand typing into the hair and into the hologram.

“I'll eat later.” Xavier answers nonchalantly, they can clearly see him texting his mom.

M: Don't be too harsh on them sunshine.

X: I'm trying.

D: Well you better try harder, kiddo.

X: 🙄

X: What time will you come home?

D: Late as usual.

M: Indeed, there are still many things to finish but your father and I will make it quick to join you for dinner.

X: Alright, stay safe.

D: Love you, kiddo. Goodluck lol.

M: We will, sunshine. Love you<3

X: love you guys too.

Xavier was grinning slightly as he texted some people, Lucifer assumed it was [y/n] and somebody else he doesn't know of.

Lucifer avoided Xavier after that, clearly heartbroken. Lucifer assumes the D and M profiles meant Mom and Dad and Lucifer assumed that [y/n] remarried and he can clearly see how happy Xavier is talking to them.

To shorten this all up, the meeting went smoothly. The Seven Virtues promised to fund the hotel and also asked for Lucifer's forgiveness for how harsh they treated him. Heaven took back his punishment and he can freely visit heaven anytime. Lucifer was able to find out that Azrael married [y/n] and she's happily married to the man. Though, she doesn't hate him and forgave him but she did make it clear that she doesn't want him back to her life and so did Xavier and Lucifer respected their wishes.

Finally returning back to hell, Lucifer was extremely heartbroken. He lost before he even got to start. But part of him is glad that [y/n] found a better man than him, someone who treats her better than him.

As Jason was engrossed in the collection of Infinite Realms lore, a knock sounded at the door. "Come in." Jason said absentmindedly finding a stopping point and placing his finger in between the pages to mark his spot. Jeeves let himself in.

"Yes sir, it is dinnertime, I have been sent to escort you to the dining room." He said as he patiently floated.

"Right yeah, let me just find a bookmark-"

"Here you are sir." Jeeves held out a silver feather shaped bookmark from apparently the aether.

"Awesome, thanks." He placed the bookmark in his spot and set it on the side table next to the bed. "Okay, lead the way please."

Once more Jason was led throughout the dark, yet glowing, halls of the High Queen's castle. They passed many different entities, all of which were obviously not human and Jason hadn't seen this diversity of different fashions since he was last at a costume party. There were actual knights with swords and lances, some yeti's with arms full of scrolls, and eight foot tall women with bright blue skin and Amazonian armor, some with multiple arms. There was what appeared to be a wolf-man talking with the knights, in some language that seemed to have some roots in Latin, though other words he could hear were from other areas. Eventually, they arrived at a set of carved wooden doors.

"Here you are sir, the royal family awaits you inside." Jeeves said prepared to open the door.

"Wait, the whole family? I thought it was just Jazz?" Jason was suddenly nervous, he thought he'd have more time before meeting the family.

"It's quite alright sir, tonight it is only the High Queen Regent and High Prince Danny in attendance. I believe she thought the entire family would be a bit much, but the High Prince has a habit of showing up anyway. He is quite protective of his sister." With that bit of advice, Jeeves opened the door.

The room was ornate, though not as large as he was expecting, clearly this was the smaller dining room. Sat at the head of the table in a seat that in some countries would be considered a throne, was Jazz, she still had her helm-crown, but now she was just in the teal toga with clasps shaped like a sun at both shoulders. She still had her arm bracers on, which he expected, if she was trained by an Amazon, then those would likely stay on always.

Sat to her right was a young man, perhaps around 19 years old, with jet black hair and piercing blue eyes. He had been talking animatedly with Jazz when he heard the door open and his eyes snapped to Jason. He was in clothing far more similar to the yeti Frostbite, though in different colors and with a white peasant shirt on. Where Frostbite had gold, Danny had silver, where the yeti had blue, Danny had black.

"So, you're the sacrifice huh?" Danny looked unimpressed at Jason's entire existence. "How'd you manage to get sacrificed? You look like you'd be hard to take down for cultists."

Jason took a moment to process what was said and then made his way to the seat to the left of Jazz. He cleared his throat. "They got me while I was distracted helping a little girl get her stuffie that was stuck on her rusty fire escape. When she was walking away with her mom, I got clocked on the back of the head. Now I'm here." He splayed out his hands as if to say 'what can you do?'

"Hmmm, okay that's fair. At least I know you're not a cretin. What are your opinions on the undead?" He slouched back into his chair with his arms crossed, a critical eye on Jason.

"Danny! I thought I told you no twenty-questions! He hasn't even been here a day, and since I was dealing with paperwork all afternoon, I haven't been able to talk with him yet either." She scolded before she turned to Jason. "I am so sorry about him, I had one bad boyfriend years ago and now he thinks any guy that comes near me has unsavory intentions." She turned back to Danny. "Jason didn't choose to be here, remember? I'm sure the whole sacrificing to an unknown being in an unknown dimension has got to be somewhat traumatic and I don't want to make him relive that if we can help it."

Jason snorted. "Honestly, not even in my top ten most traumatic experiences. This one ranks so far a solid 3/10."

"Really?" Danny quirked an eyebrow. He stared longer at Jason and his eyes flashed that Lazarus green. "Ancients dude, what the hell happened to you?"

Jason sighed heavily. "I mean, Jazz already knows some of it, but," he swallowed heavily, "I died." He took a deep breath. "And then I came back. It hasn't been great since then." He said with a tone of finality, indicating he was done with this line of questioning. Danny's look of judgement turned more understanding.

"Okay, let's say we start dinner then? I'm sure you have some questions for us too." Jazz clapped her hands and skeletons came in with carts full of food. They placed plates in front of each of them and refilled the glasses of water before exiting the room. Upon the plate was a cut of salmon, some roasted asparagus and mashed potatoes. Okay, so they at least have a similar diet to humans. He dug in, and was reminded of Alfred's cooking.

Alfred...

"Would it be possible to get a message to my family somehow? To let them know that I'm alright?" He asked a little desperately.

The siblings traded glances. "It might take a while to pin down the correct dimension, but we should have a record of your time here in the archives, and that should have your dimensional code. You mentioned heroes, maybe we can pin down which one it might be if we can figure out which ones have those heroes?"

"There are heroes in your universe?" Danny perked up at the mention of heroes. Seems like the kid is intrigued by them.

"Yeah, there's a bunch, I don't even know all of them. The big three started an organization called the Justice League. Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman founded it to help protect the Earth."

"What's their deal? What are their powers? Do you know any of them?"

"Danny! What did I say about the twenty questions?"

Jason narrowed his eyes momentarily, thinking. Do I tell them? I did show up in armor with a domino on. "It's alright Jazz, I'm used to being interrogated by younger siblings. It comes with having the Batman as a father and all his birds and bats as siblings." He looked a little smug, bragging about his family where they would never hear him.

Both siblings looked blankly at him. Right.

He blew out a breath. "I forgot you don't know who that is." He took a bite and thought how to describe his family. "So, B is the world's greatest detective, and every one of his kids ended up becoming heroes in their own right. All of us are human, one of us has meta abilities, but we mostly rely on our minds, bodies and tech. Superman is from the planet Krypton, but it was destroyed just after he was born and his parents shipped him off to Earth. He's got a laundry list of powers, but the big ones are super strength, flight, enhanced senses and laser and x-ray vision. Wonder Woman is an Amazon Warrior Princess from Themyscira, she was molded from clay by her mother Hippolyta and trained as the strongest warrior of her people. She's got flight, super strength and the Golden Lasso of Truth." Jazz grasped her bracers when it was mentioned that Wonder Woman was an Amazon. Jason looks directly at her. "I noticed you have similar bracers and armor to her, as well as some of the people I've seen around the castle. Were you trained by an Amazon?"

Jazz looked up with wide eyes, not expecting the connection. She quickly recovered and took a bite of food before responding. "Yes, I was trained by Lady Pandora here in the Realms. When I completed my training, I received these." Jason nodded.

"Wait, Pandora? Like the Box Pandora?"

"Yeah, she's nice, but strict. She's the Ancient of Peace, and trained me in quite a lot before I took the throne. I found I quite enjoy sword fighting."

"Maybe we can spar sometime? Lord knows I get enough practice from the Demon Brat demanding fights all the time." Jason and Jazz shared a smile with each other.

"Demon Brat? Do you have a demon sibling?" Danny asked, startling Jason and Jazz and causing them both to blush lightly. He smirked at breaking up the moment.

"No, I just call him that. He's the only one of us that's biologically B's, but he was kinda raised in a murder cult. When he first came to us, he tried to murder every one of us to gain his 'rightful place as blood son'. Obviously it didn't work, but it was not for lack of trying. Replacement got the worst of it honestly, and the Brat seems to mellow out around Dickwing."

"How many siblings do you have?" Danny asked shocked.

"Uh, that's a good question. Are we talking legal adoption or emotional adoption?"

"What's the difference?"

"Oh probably at lease six people."

"I think your dad has a problem."

"Trust me, you aren't the first to say that and you definitely aren't the last." They all dug into their dinner and there was several minutes of quiet. "So, I guess the biggest thing about my universe would be finding one that has the League and meta-humans. Then find whichever one is missing me that should have me in it."

"Yeah, that's probably a good start, I'll get some of my aides to scour the archives. One team to locate the file about the time you spent here when you were, you know," Jazz hesitated, "Yeah, and then I'll have a team looking for the files on which universes have those heroes you mentioned. If there's any other details you can think of to help us narrow it down, that'd be great." She looked at him earnestly.

He smiled softly at her. "Yeah, I'll let you know. I guess another big one is probably that in that universe, I am known as the Red Hood."

"Oh, is that your hero name?" Danny asked.

"Uh, kinda kid. My methods are often frowned upon by the majority of the hero community, they also don't like that I use guns most of the time." He cleared his throat. "Some people consider me a hero, most just see me as a nuisance crime lord of Crime Alley. Which, I get, I do technically run drugs, but it's just to keep it outta the hands of kids and make sure it's all clean so nobody's dying from contaminated product. It's gonna get sold anyway, I might as well make it as safe as I can. I'm just trying to clean up my city as best I can." He carefully wasn't looking at either of them, they seemed like decent people, they probably would agree with the majority on this particular topic.

Jazz placed a hand over his. "I get it. There are some decisions I have had to make since taking rule that seemed counter-productive to my goal, but any little thing helps. You do what you need, those people are just gonna try and get it elsewhere that's not as safe if you don't provide the service, I'm sure some people are thankful for you." Jason looked at her as though seeing her for the first time. That is, his mind stuttered at how regal she held herself as she was comforting him, leader to leader.

Danny cleared his throat breaking the moment again. Jazz was wide-eyed for a moment before collecting herself and Jason blushed to the tips of his ears. Dinner was cleared by the same skeletons from earlier and dessert was placed before them. It appeared to be a chocolate fudge sundae with hand-churned vanilla ice cream.

"So you mentioned sparring, You gotta spar with me before you can spar with Jazz." Danny pointed at him with his spoon.

Jazz sighed, exasperated. "Danny."

"Nope! You have meetings all day tomorrow, I call first dibs."

"Danny!"

"Come on Jazz, I haven't been able to spar with anyone new in so long. Please please please?"

Jazz rolled her eyes and looked over to Jason. "If it's alright with you? He's right, I'm busy all day tomorrow so I wasn't going to be able to entertain you anyway, and it's probably better than being cooped up in the guest room all day."

Jason shrugged his shoulders. "I don't see why not? It'll be fun, I usually spar with an alternate version of Superman named Bizarro, so I'll go easy on you." Jason smirked, but was startled to find Danny already smirking at him with fanged teeth.

"Oh, you'll regret that." There was a bright flash of white light and suddenly floating there was a color-inverted version of Danny with bright Lazarus green eyes. He winked and flew out one of the windows near the ceiling.

There were a couple awkward moments before either of them spoke. "So, I didn't want to be insensitive at all, but uh, are you guys human? I know you said you were from Earth, but I've met all sorts of different types of beings too." Jazz sighed heavily.

"That's a complicated answer." She closed her eyes and folded her hands on the table. "Let's move to the library, we can discuss more details there." They rose and he followed her out the door and down the corridor.

Persona x Twst AU

or that one time Ell (@memoryoflife) and I accidentally predicted Book 7 chapter 5 Events

Let me start off with some background info on the Persona Series for those who don't know:

The Persona series has a similar premise to Twst. In the sense that a person can be corrupted, but the reasons vary. This corruption eventually takes over them and affects their personality. In the Persona franchise, a team can stop these corrupted individuals by accessing their "mind palace." Think, inner access to their mind/soul.

These palaces tend to be just that, a palace. It will consist of a maze like structure you have to solve to get to the final boss. Along the way, you battle enemies and you get glimpses of the person. The true person, and what eventually led them to become corrupted.

Once you reach the Final Boss, the enemy usually has multiple forms. Not only that, but the entire room reflects this form and can be used against the player.

The characters trying to stop the Final Boss try to reason with them and set them free.

As you can tell, this has similarities to twst. The characters in Twst OB, and majority of the time before they do, you can see them gradually change and become corrupted.

Now you're probably wondering how does this exactly fit into Book 7 Chapter 5?

Well it fits specifically for one character alone: Silver.

Chapter 5 focused majorly on Silver and his character development. As Ell and I talked about this AU, we had unintentionally, predicted some of chapter 5 events. (You can imagine our shock and how this affected our feels even more with the chapter release)

Silver's OB

Silver's OB idea was basically him OB while he's asleep. His dream realm was now a nightmare realm of blot and waste.

He couldn't die nor awaken.

Primarily, the idea was Silver OBing right after Malleus. So they would try to rescue him, all the while juggling with emotions and the aftermath of the previous OB.

As Lilia, Malleus, and Sebek try to rescue Silver; they feel even more guilt the further they go into his palace.

But they make way, because they will rescue Silver, no matter what.

Silver's Palace

For Silver's Palace, we focused on who would be in it and how his past would appear.

One floor would focus on Lilia, and how Lilia leaving him affected him. Another would be Sebek, repeating words about Silver not being good enough and how he has to make up for Lilia and Malleus raising him. Malleus’ floor would focus on Silver's ancestors being the reason why Malleus is alone, his parents dead. All of these inner insecurities Silver faces even without the blot, but now so much worse because of it.

The dream realm isn't a dream realm anymore. What was once a world full of pastel colors is now darkness and full of blot.

Dreams full of colors means happiness, but it's not happy anymore is it? It's just a nightmare, of his own making.

The only colors are those of the three Diasomnia members, desperately trying to save Silver.

There are several ideas for his palace, wether it could be a shapeless void or something with structure.

The shapeless void castle is interesting because of the potential for change in scenery.

The Diasomnia members walking into the Final Boss chamber, and at first they see a forrest, not just any forrest but the one Silver grew up in.

The area constantly flashes to a decaying scenery, a burned and black forrest.

Other scenery includes: the cottage Silver grew up in, the death of meleanor, Lilia leaving, etc.

If we went a more concrete castle, the idea was a amalgamation of various castles: Meleanor's, Diasomnia's, and Princess Leah's.

It would make it hard for the others to travel because the Castle’s maze is always changing.

Funny scenario: The three Diasomnia Members are taking a break (basically the save room in the Persona series). Malleus is restricted and can't op through the castle since he is still recovering from his OB

Silver's Companion/Phantom

Silver's Phantom is a Horse or something similar to represent his emotions.

His phantom is always trailing after them.

It tends to keep to the shadows to 'protect' them.

With a horse phantom, you can hear it trotting in the shadows.

This phantom personifies Silver and all that he is. He will always love his family, so when one of the Diasomnia members were going to get attacked in the palace, the phantom stepped in.

Horses are the trusty stead of a knight after all. The horse can just bite the head off those that try to hurt the Diasomnia trio.

Afterwards, it runs away after the battles. But it is always there, they can see and hear it at the corner of their eyes.

Silver's case would be interesting because we can go a route where his phantom represents him, but unlike other OB phantom, his desires are disconnected from his blot.

In one of the stages of the final battle, Silver's phantom horse would even attack him. Because Silver keeps trying to hurt and drive away his family. Where once the phantom attacked the Diasomnia trio, it now protects them when the boss battle changes.

Silver's family has always been a priority to Silver and his horse reflects that. The horse wouldn't let Silver hurt them even though he's trying to get them to leave him alone. His phantom knows Silver better than he knows himself, because it is him in soul after all. (The horse could be that part of Silver that is left. The part of him that knows this whole situation is wrong. The glimmer of hope he has in himself that is constantly fighting against this blot and for his family).

Silver's Final Form/Boss Fight

There are multiple forms we talked about, all of which are very interesting.

One form included Silver being black and gray, but what shakes the Diasomnia members the most is his eyes. They are colorless and black. These eyes are nothing like what they know, no warmth or the fondness they are always blessed with. His hair looses that sheen. He looks like death.

Another idea we had was a blindfolded Silver, they can't see the eyes they have known for so long. He has been blind this entire time, to the pain that he has caused not only his father, but in extension the pain his family caused Malleus. What was the worth of these eyes? When they are blind? To the pain of others. While he dreamed of a fantasy.

Another darker idea was having Silver with gouged out eyes. His OB/Persona form could have remnants of blood on the floor and on his hands. Implying he had gouged them out himself. It would hurt more wouldn't it? To realize he had eyes before his OB, but after learning the truth about his past, everything Silver thought he knew changed.

And here's a favorite part of mine, a transformation of the boss forms. The possibility of Silver transforming in front of them. They see him change from what they knew to this new form. The horror of seeing him gouge his own eyes out and crying tears of blood,

His costume changes and he becomes that of what he hates. A twisted form of the Knight of Dawn costume because that's an ancestry he can't escape. One that he can't forgive himself for either and one that brings pain to him and others. So, essentially, he goes from this dark and gray form to this twisted form of light as we saw with the Knight of Dawn.

There would be Mini bosses as well, consisting of phantoms of the three that hurt Silver the most. One of them is General Lilia.

And because Silver's world has been recontexualized from knowing the truth, these phantoms spout cruel words that Silver believes is true and what he deserves.

A funny comedic part would be his animal friends being his helpers during the boss battle, but a twisted version of the birds and bears.

Funny instance: Sebek is fighting a bear and the birds are dropping bombs and stat drops. Lilia would mention how this stuff is more fun in games and not in irl and his son really did pay attention during their gaming sessions; only for Sebek and Malleus to shout "Not now!"

Some funny instances include shocking and freezing Lilia. Additionally, Malleus and Sebek would have sleep and confusion casted on them.

Another aspect of the second stage of battle would be how Silver notices how tired his family is. Even in this form, he loves them. "No, I would never hurt my family. This is wrong." Now, every time they get hit so does Silver. The battle changes, they have to be extra careful and dodge attacks now.

Saving Silver

So, how do they save Silver you ask?

The same way he has always saved them, with unconditional love.

Lilia - expressing how much he loves him, the same way Silver has always unconditionally expressed his love. How he knew he would always have someone home to return too.

Malleus - talking and bringing up memories and how he has always loved Silver as the little brother. How Silver brought him freedom from the loneliness of his own castle and a home to him.

Sebek - talks about how Silver always looked after him and never let him down even when they were kids and alone at the island. How Silver is his fellow Knight and no one can have that honor and he can always depend on him.

In the battle, Malleus can take down the giant form behind Silver in his dragon form. Saying how he will save Silver the same way Silver has done for him.

Sebek ends up restraining Silver while he's on his knees as he tries hard to get free, all the while, screaming, wailing that he doesn't deserve love and he needs to repent.

Lilia would walk towards his son. He would kiss him on the forehead and where Silver's eyes used to be, stating he deserves all the love in the world.

This is what breaks him.

He ends up crying, just like he did when he first went to Malleus. He falls into his father's arms as if he was a child again, seeking the warmth he has to offer.

The three diasomnia members can finally, finally return the love they had always received.

The Palace shatters.

And that's the gist of our Persona AU 💕💚, as you can tell, there was some uncanny and surprising parallels with our AU and what happened in canon. 😂💞🌺 But I think that’s what made the chapter so much more impactful. 💞🌻

Me personally I find this one the most interesting, the usage of "partner" and "themselves" is a big contrast to the way he was talking about Eddie even just a few weeks ago when he was using the word "hetero" several times in a sentence.

🌿Leshy is the Bishop of chaos, I nicknamed him after the tarot card "The Hierophant".

🌿 I named him after the card because back before Narinder's exile, he had more better morals and despite being chaotic, he was traditional to rules and standards to balance his cult out. he is chaotic, yes, but he lies in conformity for the satisfaction of his people

🌿 After Narinder was gone, his conformity and traditions all slowly went down to zero percent in his existence, he was rebellious and subversive towards his people and definitely took to new approaches when it came to fights or causing chaos all around

🌿 Darkwood just wasn't the same with those red camellias that Leshy loved so. it was a mess even! trees either broken or uprooted from the grounds on most areas.

🌿 Leshy learnt how to purr from Narinder, and he still does. despite his chaos and violence upon his people, his attendants know the good places that distract him perfectly. patting him on his head and chin.

🌿 Leshy is quite softspoken when actually speaking, he was playful and always asked his followers for advice of how to make his cult happy.

As days passed, work droned on. They both knew their jobs were important. It insured that each season ran properly in the human realm. But all the two could think of was each other, and how they yearned to be together.

There were two very distinct temperatures on each side of their border, Winter being cold, and Spring being warm.

They would meet there together as soon as the work day ended, holding hands and exchanging loving words.

However one day, that wasn't enough for Winter. He yearned to be closer to his love, Spring. So without a second thought to it, he crossed the border that divided them, the heat already pounding down on him.

He shook it off, trudging through the plush leaves and flowers that littered the ground, coloring it pink.

"Goodness... I had no idea it'd be quite so warm..." Patton muttered to himself, feeling as though he was melting under the hard gaze of the sun.

He took to his knees, resting in the shade of a helpful cherry tree, head coming to lay on the trunk.

"I will only be a moment... then I will come and find you my love..." He shut his eyes, the heat lulling him into a deep sleep.

When Winter awoke, he found himself laying in fluffy light blue snow. He sat himself up, hand coming to his forehead. He turned when he heard a gasp of relief.

"Oh thank the stars you're alright!" A pink figure sitting beside him exclaimed, moving closer and taking his hand. "I found you passed out beneath one of the cherry trees, and took you back to your half as soon as I saw you."

Winter frowned, hand gently squeezing Spring's. "I was coming to see you..." He explained, pressing their foreheads together.

Spring, Roman, shut his eyes as their foreheads met, holding his hands tight. "You know I come to visit you at the border every night... could you not have waited an hour more? At least then, you would have been safe."

Patton shook his head, arms wrapping around Roman's neck. "No, I wanted to be with you. Playing in the fields of flowers and holding each other close."

Spring frowned at this. "You could've died in the heat from just a few minutes on my side. I do not want to risk losing you for a few mere minutes."

Winter thought on his words then reluctantly sighed. "I understand."

For a few days, their routines returned to normal, with them completing their daily tasks and meeting at night at the border.

One fateful night, Winter came to the border with a plan.

"Join me on my side." Patton pleaded, hands holding Roman's to his chest.

"Will I not freeze, and wilt away like my precious flowers?" He questions, eyes filled with yearning along with worry.

"I am able to take care of each lovely bud you have gifted to me. I am certain that I can keep you safe. It doesn't have to be for very long." He said in an attempt to coerce him, eyes shining with longing.

Eventually Spring relents, timidly stepping into the fluffy snow.

For the first few moments everything is fine, but then frost began to form on Spring's delicate skin.

Not wanting to have to separate so soon, Winter pulls Spring to a patch of trees. The two step into a small garden like area, full of frozen flowers.

"This is always the warmest place in my region. Surely you will be okay here." Patton explains, thumb gently touching a patch of frost on Roman's cheek.

Spring flinches a bit as the frost spreads and Winter is quick to remove his hand from his cheek.

In a moment of desperation, Winter removes his jacket, wrapping it around Spring and holding him close, hoping that would be enough to keep him warm.

"Patton I do not think this will work..." He muttered, growing weaker by the second. "You must take me back."

"I refuse!" Winter cried, hugging him as close as he could. "I want to be with you!"

"But we can't be together. Not like this anyway. I need to be in spring."

And so, with a heavy heart, Patton carried Roman back to his side of the border, gently placing him in the petals.

The frost slowly melted off of his cheeks and gradually he regained his strength. However, Winter watched with tears in his eyes.

"I did not mean to harm you."

Roman gave him a warm smile, sitting himself up fully and taking Patton's hands.

"I know my love. All you want is to be with me. I wish to be with you too. But it's dangerous. Until we find a safe way to cross, we must remain separated. Our only form of contact being here. At the border."

"I wish for more." Patton cried, hand touching his cheek once again. "I yearn for more."

"I know... I promise you, I will find a way."

Patton cried softly, their foreheads pressing to each other’s.

"I am here for you. Always, my sweet, beautiful snowflake." Roman mumbled softly.

And in that moment he couldn't help himself. He pressed their lips together, a delicate burning sensation between them.

As he pulled back, his now frost-bitten lips turned up at the corners, smiling so fondly at the man before him.

"Oh Roman your lips I... I've hurt you again..." Patton uttered quietly, icy tears falling down his cheeks, freezing to his face.

Roman shook his head, smile still strong as he teared up a little. "I will be okay... it is a short moment of pain in exchange for a lovely, lasting memory. And right now, I only wish to do it more and more. Because I need you. All of you. In any way I can get..."

Winter hugged Spring just as close as he could, the two sharing soft, delicate kisses until the sun came up. Tears rolling down each of their cheeks but smiles on their lips.

also lol strategizing about how you might beat a boss like strade in F&H.....

they always do weird shit with boss fights, so hear me out: to kill him, you need to play around with him and others a little bit, because THOUGH YOU DON'T KNOW, you're working against a silent timer. By casually attacking him, a hit is very unlikely to land. so... Descriptively, he's "too excited" to sit still- your first hint ;3

Every time you're attacked, Strade receives some kind of benefit- that being, being 1 step closer to "2nd form," which is pretty much a team-wipe. yadda yadda, some cool scene about him losing his patience and dragging your party down to his hell-realm, blah blah. So, looking it over and seeing how he can easily land shots, while you can not, the chances of getting him BEFORE that threshold are,, very very tiny. This is when you put on your thinking cap and turn AWAY from the enemy, and towards your friends :)

By attacking your party members, (or yourself for additional points,) he becomes infatuated and aroused, and the fire in his chest begins to burn. Attacking now results in a little more likely chance to hit, but still nothing significant- it's here, if you were smart, you'd talk to him. You can't understand his language, but it seems like he wants more. You need to attack your own party about LETS SAY 7 times, while enduring Strade hits, before his fire consumes him- boom, there's your access point!! He has a cooldown time of 4 or 5 PLAYER moves, so make sure u make those shots count >:3 (Tail or hands first, I imagine)

He can inflict bleeding and poison status affects, and also use a move that gets you, or a teammate, attracted to pain, which can manipulate their fighting patterns. (Can sometimes hit themselves.) This is his signature Coin Flip move(tm). This fight would be a T O T A L VIAL GUZZLER, so I would recommend bringing a Golem, Skeleton, or Blood Golem to be like,,, the punching bag. Moonless and The Girl would also be recommended to be LEFT OUT of this fight. just some other random points !!

BUT ALSO, CONSIDER: A shortcut out of the battle! There's a bonus NPC you can meet- "The Beast" we'll call him. This is OBVIOUSLY Ren, but he is a lost, starving individual, who only wants a bite to eat. By offering yourself (or another party member) as a quick meal, you lose an arm, BUT, gain him as a following NPC !! To skip the Strade fight, you can just take Ren down to see him, and on your first move, choose to speak- there you will find an unlocked dialogue option where you can trade Ren for the rest of the parties safety. He will accept every time. You lost Ren, you've lost an arm, but the battle has been avoided, and you're free to do whatever it is you needed to do after the fight.

I like to think, after successfully beating Strade, you'd get a special weapon- a hammer, in fact :) A hammer with high damage, and poison effects !!

AND NOW THAT I'M ON IT, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE BENEFITS OF KEEPING REN.

He's a beast-kin, so physical attacks come easy, and his damage is decently high- though his health isn't too good. As a beast-kin, a demon, he can never have Phasmophobia or Zoophobia unless under special conditions- though, if taken through the Strade fight WITHOUT being sacrificed, he has a slim chance of obtaining Erotophobia or Panophobia. He can cannibalize, so keeping him fed is EASY, but his sanity drops like the sun on a winter afternoon.

additional BTD + F&H au notes: (Law, Derek, Celia, Mason, in that order)

Lawrence is a wandering NPC that can show up by chance. He delves into the dungeons by choice, as he feels the entities and creatures understand him better than humanity does. He acts as a merchant ! He sells you random shit he finds while exploring, and sometimes, even from up above before he enters- rarer spawns, like blue herbs, lucky coins, arrows, bone shears, and high-benefit food items. (When purchasing from him, a coin flip initiates. Use your imagination.)

In certain outdoor areas, you can come across Derek taking advantage of the dungeons isolated environment to kill dungeon-divers with no outside consequences. Honestly, he's not much stronger than a Prison Guard, and the fighting pattern would be similar as well- though his bat can trip you up, with a coin flip deciding if he nails you in the head or not, causing the "Fracture or Broken Bone" status effect, and sometimes, "Momentary Stun." By killing him and searching his body, you can get a whopping 120 gold, his bat, and some low-tier armor. (Bonus before-fight scene: If you give him your most valuable item/all your gold, you skip the fight, but take a little damage.)

Celia can be found in certain safer locations, and is similar to the Human Hydra and Pocket Cat in the way that she can take The Girl off your hands. By rejecting, a battle initiates where focus on her hands is practically necessary, due to the tremendous amount of poison damage threatening you and your party. She can also give you the "Severe Physical Trauma" status effect. HOWEVER!! By accepting, you gain lots of alcoholic and smoking items, but lose The Girl. (In the circumstance you do NOT have The Girl in your party, Celia behaves more like Enki, and basically tells you to take a hike. By continuing to bother her, a fight can initiate.)

You can find Mason by chance at any of the altars. He is there to spread his own gospel, asking the player to pray for HIS Lord upon speaking to him. If you accept his preaching, you're thrown into a cut-scene, and left with the "Anal Bleeding" status effect. In turn, you're now FLUSH with healing items, and are favorable to his god, who provides healing (health and sanity) skills and abilities. If denied, you're thrown into a coin-flip, which upon failing, you're left with the same cut-scene, and are killed immediately after. Winning allows you to step away. The coin-flip is initiated once more upon speaking to him again. (BUT, by having Moonless or Ren in your party, you can avoid the coin-flip by handing them off to him !! He still refuses to speak afterwards, though.)

That doesn't mean she's always happy, though--finding out not only she has a big sister, but she's alive. So she alternates between being happy to have a female companion and a bit cynical about why her mother would lie to her about something so big.

I think it's because of my poetry background, but I frequently write descriptive scenes and create compelling pictures of what's going on in that world. I also frequently go into the thought process of each character quite often, so I could frequently set up scenes and what not.

I like going into the natural spaces; they tend to give a feel on how people think. Aleria receives the prophecy near a waterfall; one of the locations the Sea Gardenia could be is in a magical pond, and just the characters navigating through mountains, sea, and sky. As most of the discussions of how to find are within more populated areas, it's sort of brings the more adventurous feel to Out There that I want.

I also really focused on the magic system and how people deal with powers! It feels a bit secondary at this point, but as Caroline isn't living in the realms, but caught up in their stories, it sort of plays into her arc about what she wants in life. WORLD BUILDING IT IS

OK so there's 3 planes of existence: the Celestial, the Human (Earth), and the Dream Realm.

The Celestial consists of Aeternus (AKA Ecnissia), Kosmos, "The River", and Omerta. Aeternum is what was there before Chaos, before the storm, before The River, before the Daeva. Aeternus is what held the sea within it, what heated up in order to create the storm which went on to create the Daeva triplets, what was always there and will always remain. Kosmos is the eternal storm from which the Daeva were born. It leads to & from The River, which runs through the stars and the sea, encircling the universe. It was created by Kouros' tears the first time he cried and Dosis' laughter the first time he laughed and Spen's voice the first time she screamed. Omerta is the equivalent of an Underworld, and was created by Spen when she decided she wanted a space away from her brothers, who were arguing over stars.

On Earth, people used to believe in the Gods, and built temples and shrines and statues to them, made sacrifices to them, but over time, they forgot about the Gods and now see them as a piece of history, or a folktale. There are stray dogs which run around the cities & usually find a home in or around the temples, and it's a local myth that the Gods (mostly Likow & Pneuma) use the dogs as informants and watchers, who watch over the human population & report back; some even say that the Gods still watch people through the dogs' eyes.

The city which is the main setting on Earth is split up into what are essentially districts, some of which are higher up the social ladder than others. There are travel and trade routes running between each; though it's rate for someone to truly move up the social ladder from one to another, it isn't unheard of. Each district is more or less based on a different social media or other online platform, if they were to become physical places.

I won't name them, but I'll use numbers here.

- If you live here, you're probably a mentally ill, queer, kinky monsterfucker who dresses in either a grunge style or like you're an e-boy / e-girl. There's lots of derelict buildings which are actually very occupied (sometimes over-occupied), there's fights in the street, apartment buildings are slums, but then there's also the few who are far wealthier and have penthouses packed full of drugs, while those in the slums have dream boards of idealistic places and lots of plants, and political riots are low-key normal

- If you live here, you're probably a wine aunt, you know far too much about everyone else, it's a suburb so everyone knows everyone, everyone is in everyone's business, you're tipsy by 5pm, you have a very respectable book club, and you're probably right wing, or left-wing-wanna-be-who-can't-fully-let-go-of-right-wing-prejudices

- If you live here, you have very idealistic homes & castles & mansions, your interior decorating is envied by everyone, most people have personal gardeners and landscape designers in their employ, you eat very healthy, dinner parties are super boujie, you have a home-library, and your clothes are elegant af 24/7, even when you're relaxing. But nobody really engages with each other, and it's quite lonely, when all you know is peace and quiet and silent waves to each other in the street.

- If you live here, you know DIY & you're almost guaranteed to be trained in a craft of sort. You almost definitely make the clothes worn by everyone in the other districts. It's a small area, but it's well respected and is a major trade hotspot.

- If you live here, all of your possessions are 2nd, 3rd or 4th hand, there's lots of scams which mess with the legit deals a few are trying to make, and you're willing to sell anything you own in order to pay rent, because the bills are way higher than what you actually earn in your job. Guaranteed. The street art is nice, though.

- If you live here, nobody actually trusts you, you're all drug dealers & traffickers & sex workers. It's actually quite close to 1 and 5, but nobody wants to acknowledge that. You've definitely had to do something shady to pay bills more than once. There's lots of homeless people here, the houses are run-down shells with horrific living conditions, and the general upkeep of the area is horrifically low.

- If you live here, you're almost definitely a high-end sex worker, and you either are or have a sex slave and dungeon. It's an open secret that this is the red-light area of the city. There's also quite a lot of furries.

The Dream Realm is a dimension which crosses between the Celestial and Human. It's where the Gods once held their tournaments and trials of demigods, it's where humans once wandered into by mistake and found themselves face to face with monsters of epic proportion, temptations beyond any human's ability to resist, and things which were so addictive the human world paled in comparison. It's where heroes were made, and where martyrs proved themselves, where sacrifices were taken and made, where the Gods and humans mingled and danced together once a year. But after a war which almost destroyed both the Celestial and Human worlds, the Deava and Human Leaders came to an agreement: the Dream Realm would close, and neither civilisation would have access to it, and it would remain that way for the next 4,000 years, for everyone's safety. The Daeva agreed, because to a being which understands eternity, 4,000 years is a short amount of time to take a step back and focus on other matters; in Human years, 4,000 years is an amount of time which cannot be fully comprehended, as our lifespans are so short - as such, the humans assumed that 4,000 years would be enough time for everyone to have moved on, for lessons to be learned and for history to be cemented as something to never repeat.

Things didn't go quite according to the humans' plans, though. They didn't go according to the Daevas' plans, either. Over the next 4,000 years, humanity moved on, and the facts of the Gods and knowledge of their abilities turned to stories, then to myths and legend, then to folklore. Now, humans have new Gods, made of neon and plastic and backed by blue light. As the Gods watched, they saw humans stop believing in them, and saw themselves fade until they were all but forgotten and turned into short catchphrases and jokes and things told to children to scare them into eating their vegetables or going to sleep or not staying out too late or to not tell a lie.

Now, it's been 4,000 years, and the Gods are ready to remind humans why they were once revered, feared and awed in equal measure. They're reopening the Dream Realm, and this time, the stakes are higher than they ever were before - for the Gods, and for the humans they pull into the Realm to put through trials; and the humans are about to realise how much of their own history they've forgotten.
