Thinking very much about how I got the shirt for CYMK before I even listened to the full album and am now very very pleasantly surprised by how much of it has been stuck in my head

CMYK anon here! I'm glad that you weren't offended by my asks(though again, I really wouldn't have minded if you were)! Not sure if you already know these, but here's some more fun facts about colors and color wheels. As mentioned, RGB is for screens, originally created so that different brands and companies wouldn't have wildly different colors for the same thing. On the other hand, CMYK was designed for printing purposes! Because of the highly saturated colors, and because they can still create all the primary colors of RYB, they're more efficient and effective, hence why the printers we use today usually have those colors for the inks.
Also, about what you said about perseverance was really interesting! Due to the coloring choices, I personally always thought that it was more pink than purple, although that was just my opinion. I hadn't thought too much about it, but I definitely see it being magenta! Good catch! Honestly though, who knows what's going on in Toby Fox's head lol. Thanks for listening to my silly asks! Take care.
HECK YEAH!!! Magenta Soul for the win!!!!
And MOAR COLOR KNOWLEDGE!!! *grabby hands* yaaaaas I love this kind of stuff!!! I thought it was cool as heck when I was looking at the color theory pic that RGB and CYMK are just like…. They’re just inverted from each other!!!!
Tumblr media
Like look at that!!! That’s cool as heck!!!! With one system, you can start with one and mix to get the other. BUT THEN!!!! With the other system!!!! It’s the same too!!!! You just mix them to get the other also!!!!
Tumblr media
Colors are heckin cool man! Thanks for coming back to share more knowledge with me!!! I love it!!!
❤️🥰❤️

Umm.... I was wondering if your could explain how to make charms,I'd really like to make some trustedpartner and firstfriends ones but I don't know where to start, plzz help
Oh, absolutely!!
So the site I use is called alibaba, and the charm manufacturer is called Vograce. Once you’re on the site and search ‘vograce charms’ you should see a couple different results, you can just look at whichever ones you like, they should be pretty similar either way!
Under the main information about the charms they should have a little section where they explain how they’re made and the sort of options they offer. Vograce has different keychains, additional effects (like glitter!), you can customize the thickness and what sort of layering you want, etc. Once you’ve decided on exactly what you want, you just have to send a message to the seller with everything you need! They’ll probably ask you additional questions about pricing and about how many you’d like, but the process is pretty straightforward.
I do have to warn you tho since the company is based in China there might be some issues with the language barrier, however they’re pretty good at communicating in English. I didn’t have any issues when I was talking with them, and they were very helpful!
Once you’re done discussing the details, you just have to send them a PSD file with everything all set up. They do have guidelines to help you with the charm setup, and if you still have questions you can always google it! They prefer CYMK since that’s how they print the charms. They should send you a preview so you know what the outline will look like so you can be sure it’s okay.
I believe that you have to send them payment through PayPal (it’s been a little while since I’ve done this tho so don’t take my word for it.) They’ll need your address and all that stuff to ship the charms to you. And that’s it! You should get it delivered within the next week of ordering them, they ship pretty quickly. I will say that shipping is quite expensive depending on how many charms you get at once--I bought around 50 when I ordered my first batch and I think shipping cost about $50 (however when you actually sell them online that should cover the shipping costs anyway but YEAH you should just be aware of that).
That is the general process! If you have any more questions let me know, I am more than happy to help ^^

Hey, I love your art and was wondering if I could get your opinion on the best tablet/programs for someone hoping to switch over to digital art and how aprox expensive that is ://
ive only used 2 wacom tablets in my life so i cant give you much on other brands, you’ll have to do research. i personally like wacom a lot just because of the ease of setting up with paint programs, it’s thought of as the default tablet so you dont run into any compatibility uses. wacoms are expensive tho if you can get the model before the newest model its often a fair bit cheaper and you might want to buy cheaper range (i think just called their intous?) before you spring for something like an intuos pro. have a look into other tablet brand reviews as well, they’re often cheaper also ebay is good hook up for earlier models at good prices.
as for programs painttool sai is is really good one to start with, has most of the basics, pretty intuitive set up and can even deal with vectors to a small amount. there are copies of version 1.1.0 floating around i think and it even has a 2.0 english release now but i’ve no idea where to go to download that, im sure google can help.
my program choice is Clip Studio Pro (although ive upgraded to Ex now) https://www.clipstudio.net/en they fairly regularly have sales on the pro version for like $30 or so which is really sweet deal. its maybe less intuitive than sai but if you’re familiar with photoshop at all, its like a digital art version of photoshop, lots of the same hotkeys and menu layouts. I use clip every day and only touch photoshop really for CYMK print stuff.
youtube tutorials are a god send so use them to your advantage if you’re not familiar with a program there will be like 798797 starter tutorials.
I cant give u an estimate on prices but yeah the most expensive side is really gonna be the tablet, so shop around and check out reviews to make sure you’re getting what you want.
for me i think my intuos pro was abt £170 when i bought it bc the new model was coming out and my bamboo fun was about £80 when it was the latest model.
