okay 1) ur my favorite person, and 2) ill try to keep the word-vomit to a minimum but im not making any promises;

so first there's alchemist Dorothy 'Dot' Ripley. Shes a descendant of the famous 15th century alchemist George Ripley, who is one of the most influential people in the field. you'd think this gives her a lot to live up to, but Dot isn't really affected by that. Not in any noticeable way, at least. she's really dorky and a little clumsy, but in the most charming way. she's very smart but nobody really notices. She has had a crush on Yoko Tanaka for the longest time, and she's good friends with Enid Sinclair. the two bond over kpop and being not-so-secretly lesbians <3

next there's Eli Conrad, a solitary cosmic witch with an interest in demonology. he's the astrology bitch of the friend group basically. he shares a lot of classes with Dot and they're pretty good friends - according to Dot, anyway - which is how he's also kind-of friends with the rest of Bram's social circle. Eli is a huge sweetheart and extremely smart, but he's also terminally awkward. unlike Dot he's pretty shy and if it wasn't for her he probably wouldn't have many friends at all because of that. He eventually falls in love with Tyler Galpin (in my idea of season two, anyway) bc he believes he can fix him dfghsdf

then there's my two nymph girls! Camille Fern is a nymph who specializes in flowers and floral medicine, who has a cute little romance with Eugene Ottinger. she's very much a cool and outgoing girl, especially for a thirteen year-old, and Eugene is very intimidated by her. Camille doesn't even notice, though, because she's crushing on him way too hard herself.

and last but certainly not least there's Mira Aquino. she's Camille's roommate and a water nymph who's been studying defensive water magic. she's close with most of the siren students, and is really good friends with Divina specifically. she's one of the legacy students at Nevermore and, much like Wednesday, constantly feels like she should be living up to her parents' expectations. she's potentially a Divina love interest, but I'm a little undecided on that.

"life doesnt get better, you just get stronger" does NOT include ages 11-17. life does in fact just get better from there. those years are dogshit. like, you do get stronger but its mostly just a factor of not being 11-17 anymore. positive thinking helps but it doesnt fix whatevers going on at 15, you have to brute force through that one raw
