Feel like once you acknowledge Gotham is just doing its own thing, you kinda learn to ignore that a shit ton of Batman's villains are becoming villains before Bruce even hits 20, let alone before he becomes Batman, meaning by the time he's fighting them, they'll be old as fuck lmao.

#except catwoman shes the same age #which...thank god given they are meant to be romantic #but like poison ivy started the show bruce and selina's age range #but then the show wanted adult poison ivy so here we go she gets doused in chemicals she older physically #but oh no she mentally a child so here we again age her up once mroe so she mentally an adult too #like oh my god its so weird but its just interesting this show eventually knew they would have to tackle more batman villains #so they did bullshit to do so #the only villain that makes sense to be old this point is um ra al ghul #that man is meant to a dad anyway to his own kid and also near death constantly hence the pit so #him being old as fuck by the time bruce becomes batman makes sense lmao
