You know what I keep wondering? How Haruta found out about his cursed technique

I mean, clearly he didn't go to any jujutsu school or likely even come from a family of sorcerers, since he doesn't know exactly how his ability works, but he knows enough to be aware that it allows him to survive fatal injuries. He's like a video game character that respawns every time they're killed

So my point is, how old was he when he "died" for the first time? And more importantly, how many "deaths" did it take for him to realize that the first time wasn't a coincidence?

#idk guys i think about little haruta a lot #able to see curses no one else around him could #one just Does Not get born as messed up as he is. i'm willing to bet he had a less than happy upbringing #i have a theory that it was uraume who recruited him shortly before the beginning of the story if only because he acted like a total amateur #during the school exchange event and someone as careless and impulsive and messy as him would have been caught REAL quick if he was on his #own for a while. but idk what kind of life he led before that. probably some minimum wage dead end job. i can't see him having what it takes #to pass japanese college entrance tests LOL #but the other curse users whose backstories we know aren't exactly sunshine and rainbows #the twins #the old man geto fought during the riko arc #hell even geto himself #jujutsu kaisen #haruta shigemo
