planning on outreaching to my friends soon

the stress lately has been SO much. my paycheck is stuck in limbo which puts the status of where i live, the food i eat, and my t-shot all in a very uncertain place. im currently living off of boiled eggs, toast, and ramen. :) my finances are pretty much screwed until december! im gonna be making amazing pay and have lots of savings once shit clears but UNTIL then it's so unbelievably tight rn.

i've also been up to my ears in scheduling my surgery, which instead of just being one may instead now be two, which is amazing news mentally but is going to be an insane fucking burden physically, my entire torso is going to be cut up (top surgery + loose skin removal for my entire abdomen all in one).

im also having to get sober for my surgery. the doc said i can have edibles but i can't afford them either, so it's just solid cold turkey hours over here. great timing!

that on top of missing a shot which caused major fatigue (learning to do them at home since i can't afford $300 monthly in ubers anymore so HOPEFULLY that doesn't happen again) and just in general struggling with mental illness means ive pretty much been MIA now for almost 2 weeks. i can't shake this ominous vibe that people are going to get tired of waiting on me or forget me or like me less in the elapsed time, but it really is what it is rn.

i miss chatting with my bsf especially, playing shit, and ik he probably needs me too rn. ik worrying more about myself and my problems is lowk selfish. my home just HAS to be in order before i can tend to anything because he deserves my 100%, not my 10 or 20, which is all i have rn.

she doesn’t turn to him, but she beckons without noise. his feet take him easily to her, and he kneels at her side as she sets aside the embroidery hoop to let him place his head on her knees.

her hand is cold as it threads through his hair. it’s gentle, at first. then harsher a moment later. she grips firm, tugs him up by those electric white threads, stares down at him through all that elaborate lace.

she trails her hand down the side of his face, and he turns into the palm and closes his eyes, and she is silent as she sets down her embroidery to lift her veil. she is silent and hollow and eidolic as her fingers brush down his jaw and tilt his head up to look at her.

but it’s your face that he sees when he opens his eyes.

it’s your hand against his cheek, your eyes pink and puffy and pretty, your stomach bulging by his own doing. it’s your fingers that pluck up the needle, still attached to a thread of brilliant cerulean, and raise it to his eye.

his mother never was able to pierce him with that needle. she stopped herself, each and every time, dropping it and tugging him close in shame. she never doted, never was kind, but she never did manage to harm him.

you do. he lets you. it’s only fair. whatever thing is in your stomach can’t be human—whether god or demon what does it matter, at the end of the day—and didn’t he put it in you himself? if his mother never got the satisfaction of spilling his blood, shouldn’t you?

but he wakes just as the tip pierces his iris, and you hold him in your lap, eyes wide with concern and not puffy from weeping, and you hold no child within you. your hands thread through his hair and they’re warm, your lips plush when you bend to press a kiss to his brow.

he turns inward to press his face into your (empty, blissfully vacant) abdomen. the wetness he leaves there, falling from his so very coveted eyes, is colorless.

i feel like im obligated to remind everyone that the time we see the characters spend with saiki on screen isnt the ONLY time they spend together,,, i just see a lot of people take their screen time very literally and assume that this is the case despite it being heavily implied that it isnt, and im not entirely sure why but i can guess that it may be because of the assumption that saiki genuinely hates his friends (i do also see people doing this with specific characters they dont like or that they have a specific agenda for, which i think is them being like "i feel a certain way about them, therefore saiki the narrator who gave me all the information that made me feel this way about them must not like them" which i dont really have a problem with (its just an hc) until they start arguing with people that their hc is the only right answer and saiki canonically hates that person or is only around them when forced to be LOL)

yumehara and teruhashi immediately recognize "kurikos" eating manner as saikis despite us never seeing him eat in front of them, kaido + nendo + kuboyasu bribe saiki for his homework with coffee jelly because they know hes obsessed with it despite us seeing no on-screen reason for them to know that (we do see a bit later that he walks home with them every day and he stares at coffee jelly every single time though LOL), and mera talks about saiki spending a lot of money at her workplace despite us only seeing her and him there at the same time once before..

saiki does not succeed at avoiding them, and in fact is probably not even trying to most of the time LMAO he loves those idiots. dearly.

the people i see the least true implications of him spending off-screen time with are actually, weirdly enough, the other two psychics. this doesnt necessarily mean to take that at face value and assume he DOESNT spend as much time with them, but its interesting i feel... please correct me if im wrong though cuz i would love to see more examples of these kinds of implications, for any characters actually!
