Hey Nika (if that's ok) do you have any tea you like? What's your favourite?
Asking east-european for tea advice? Smart.
1. Just straight black. If you want to feel fancy or a little sick - with lemon. If you very sick black with lemon, honey and ginger.
2. Black with sweet and condensed milk. It's usually called hong kong tea. You can't drink a lot of it, since it's sweet and with milk. But good as a treat.
3. Masala chai. The same as a hong kong tea, but I'm usually drinking it in a cold months.
4. Surprisingly. Fireweed tea. Especially if you epileptic or have a brain damage. It really helps me sleep and just. Be more chill. I can't drink a lot of it, since it's weirdly sour. But by a lot I mean "more than a litre at a time". Can't be used as a medication for epilepsy or brain damage, it just my personal experience. Your experience can be different.
But yeah. It's the ones I have in my cupboard right now. Usually I drink just black without additional stuff since it's everywhere and you can drink it the entire day without any downsides (I mean, for me).
And yea, Nika is fine 👉👉

And that’s a wrap for Comic Con 2024! Ha, it was a lot of fun, but I really enjoyed dressing up as Mondo today! I even had a couple people recognize him! And a few others just liked the hair, one of whom asked how long it took me to get my hair like that, which tells me that at least it looks natural enough for people to mistake it as my actual hair, ha.
Overall, Comic Con was cool! On Thursday, I attended a live podcast recording for Braving the Elements, which is an Avatar the Last Airbender podcast hosted by Janet Varney and Dante Bosco (the voices of Korra and Zuko, respectively), and I actually got a trivia question right and I should (hopefully…) get an email from them soon to get a prize for answering the question right. If not… oh well. At least I’ll be featured briefly on the podcast answering trivia correctly, even though I usually suck at trivia, ha.
The rest of the days were a bit more meh, but I still had fun. I won a Pokeball ornament from a Hallmark panel, since I knew how many Squirtles were in the Squirtle Squad, aha. Which leaves my trivia score 2 for 2 at the moment.😅 I also got a free shirt and scarf for the upcoming Yakuza live action show, which was neat. I’ve never played Yakuza, but my brother has, so I was able to give him the shirt at least.
Still, while Comic Con was fun, I’m definitely glad it’s over so I can go home and clean up from my frantic cosplay creating the last several weeks, oof.
Also! On the first day I dressed at Taka, but since I was by myself I only have the one photo my dad was able to quickly take of me before he had to drive off and a quick selfie I took in the car.

random omegaverse thought:
There must be people who experience specific instinct things with indifference or boredom.
Procreative cycle coming up? "Crap, I've got plans this weekend...stupid skip weeks."
Caught an intriguing scent while walking? "But I need to get to work! Shut up brain."
Had a snap response to a distressed sound? "Who was it?! ...right, it's my day off, I can go back to sleep."
Somebody growled at them? "Kid, I'm not a rival, that's my sibling."
Super cozy cuddle session happening nearby? "I'm gonna pass tonight guys, no social battery left, maybe next time."
Group of friends heading out to flirt and check out other singles? "I'm coming with you but only to make sure you all get home safe."
Setting where fated mates or soul bonds or permanent marks are a thing? "Meh. I don't really want one or care if I ever get one."
People in the actual omegaverse would get as bored of their stuff, as we do of ours, you know? It could be interesting to see that kind of vibe in fics. Biological demands faced with all the excitement of paying bills or doing laundry or tying your shoes.
Even if that kind of energy might not drive a plot, it could be interesting to have as a contrast to the people who do have big feelings about them - good or bad.
There's the friends who can't wait til they have a pack of their own, and the one friend who isn't against it but couldn't care less. There's the group in the office who are all about scent compatibility tests and figuring out one's best match and what sprays most highlight it, and the coworker who has no intentions on putting that much effort in. There are parents who hover and protect their offspring by scenting them multiple times a day, and others who don't see what the fuss is as long as it's done in the morning.
...also: packs with introverts who show care by giving each other space. So often, closeness is depicted through physical touch and tactile affection, but comfortable silence is meaningful too. Knowing people are near, but not having to interact until you're ready. Sitting in the same room doing different things, knowing that all it takes is a "hey, look at this" to share what you're up to. People understanding and accepting each other's differing or fluctuating needs for how and when to recharge. Seeing somebody reaching out or sharing space, beyond what's their norm, as a signal of the fact that they care.

a man loving a man
a woman loving a man
a man loving a woman (and a man)
and a woman loving a woman
and literally all of the characters involved are bi/pansexual.
diversity win, i'm queer and so is everything and everyone I do and make

Voted for Bumble bc of course but also if you think Alex would not pspsps Bumble you are wrong. If they could communicate they would go to therapy together /s
If then could communicate they would go to therapy together
/GEN
Kyle/Green Lantern resurrects her but then he becomes convinced that she's not the same person she was before the incident, OR SOMETHING SOMETHING Black Lanterns aren't ACTUALLY bad they're just misunderstood Grim Reaper types, in either case Alex ends up breaking it off with Kyle because they've become very different people.
And then Bumble's there
And then they go to therapy or Alex adopts Bumble, and then uhhh Bumble's like one of the superpets. Like Krypto the Superdog. Free premise go forth and play with it if ur a DC fan

Headcanon, theory thing, or something, but what if Ochre has trouble expressing his emotions? Ochre in canon general seems apathetic to everything, which wouldn't be odd, but you consider all the false dragons of destiny despite how jerkish and annoying they can be all have moments of vulnerability that make you feel sorry for them. With Flame, you can see him crying into his mother's arms after seeing her again. With Squid, you can see Fatespeaker try her hardest to not abandon Squid with Squid profusely apologizing and begging not to be forced to go into enemy territory alone, With Viper in a fit a rage yells that she would've been at camp with her Parents if it wasn't for Fatespeaker's tribe before violently dying, and of course we see how Fatespeaker gets beaten down over and over again but she remains determined because if she doesn't that means all of her suffering would've been for nothing. And finally for Ochre we have... Starflight forgetting to go find him from the nightwing island? We don't even see Ochre react to that. In fact, we don't really see him react to anything, even watching Viper boiling alive in front of him while Starflight and Fatespeaker are mortified. Why is that? I believe it's because Ochre just hasn't had the ability to properly express his emotions, so he's all out of wack when it comes to expressing his emotions. Besides, Fatespeaker, all the other false dragonets had someone to rely on, Viper having her parents, Flame having Avalanche and Squid having Nautilus, with what we see with Avalanche and Nautilus they care about their children very much and give children very much to they point that their children feel comfortable being Vulnerable being around them (an anomaly in wof) so what about Ochre? Well, it's mentioned that Ochre has a mother, but knowing mudwings, there's a good chance that Ochre's mother doesn't care about him at all. In fact, Squid comments on how Ochre's mother wouldn't care about Morrowseer taking him away, so we see that Ochre wouldn't be to rely on her for anything. So what about his sibs, we have no idea who His sibs are, He doesn't he mention them? I believe it's because he doesn't know them, perhaps his mother had a clutch and took one of the eggs and assumed just as long as they weren't a bigwings, then the group would be fine, what if since he didn't have any sibs he had control with regulating his emotions, since that's how he coped with missing them, he didn't know much about them but some part of him longs to seem again and it hurts to much to think about so he just focuses on food make things hurt a little less...
