"If something looks worthless, then it's probably not for me."
How much better would the world be if we all kept this in mind? If you don't understand the point of something, ask questions — kindly — and try to understand. Do some research. Think about it. Not everybody is able-bodied.
Here is an incomplete list of things in my home that were obviously not designed with accessibility in mind:
the windows, which have a tiny catch that has to be depressed with one hand in order to depress an anti-intrusion device while operating the window lock with the other
my CPAP humidifier chamber, which requires two good hands to remove and replace
the latches on either side of my HEPA air purifier, which both have to be depressed in order to lift the fan unit off of the filter base, a procedure also requiring two good hands
the wand release lever on my (thankfully now previous) vacuum cleaner, which was quite difficult to remove if you had poor hand strength
... and I could go on.
Keep in mind that a lot of assistive devices are also useful for people who don't have a disability. Those devices just aren't usually marketed with images of disabled people because disabled people are vastly outnumbered by able-bodied people, and also, way too many people see images of disabled people and immediately react like ableist jerkfaces.
Edited to add this fabulous tag from @wingedspirit:
