Bubble goes to her room, stands outside the door for a moment, and then goes to Caines room instead. She's exhausted from trying to unabstract Charlie, but she doesn't sleep. She cant- she got so used to falling asleep to the soft sounds and warmth of Caine beside her that she can't without him. It's really quite good that in this digital reality she doesn't need to.

Most ringmasters have a nasty habit of never resting, it turns out. Caine had his exit to keep him busy, and now she has a project to work on as well.

Bubble sits at Caines desk and stares at the scrap of fabric from his jacket.

She will bring him back, even if it's at the cost of her own life.

Because what she's doing now? It's no life at all.
