1. sukuna daps up  young choso as a greeting bc he thinks its funny with the size difference + how choso goes along with anything

2. sukuna has the passcode and key to jin and kaori's house so they find him randomly in the house sometimes. he likes to nap on the couch bc its nice and deep

3. sukuna met kaori first but they were all involved with bad company when they were students. kaori and jin immediately started to clean up their act after they started to date

4. yuuji used to cry looking at sukuna but at one point after seeing the twins side by side he just started laughing and never stopped???? rorschach test on sukuna's face ✅

5. sukuna and jin kick their feet behind them when they do tummy time with yuuji

6. yuuji named sukuna's cat cheese burger. they call her chizu

7. choso is kaori's first child and jin's step son. he rarely calls jin "dad" (usually something similar to "mr. jin" "uncle" "sir" etc) but when he does he's shy about it and jin also tends to get teary eyed ☹️

8. sukuna lives in tokyo. kaori has long stretches where she lives in tokyo for work. jin travels back and forth between sendai and tokyo. yuuji lived with wasuke until high school+his passing, then he moved in with his parents in tokyo.

9. choso is wherever yuuji is. but when he moved to sendai the first time they cut his hair short and he sulked for a week. he had to keep it trimmed short until he graduated middle school. he went to a local vocational school instead of high school

10. when choso and yuuji go to tokyo during holidays everyone stays at sukuna’s place bc it’s bigger. otherwise kaori stays at company housing (if jin is visiting kaori he also stays with sukuna)

14. megumi and yuuji met during one of the holidays he was in tokyo for. they occasionally met the following summers and sometimes ask their parents to call each other until finally they became classmates in hs (when yuuji moved out to tokyo)

15. the twins and toji knew about each other by reputation (same circles but they’ve never met and they dont wanna talk about it either 😭😭😭esp not around his innocent wife)

16. tsumiki is megumi’s neighbour+childhood friend and they basically grew up together. she sometimes stays with megumi’s family bc megumi’s mom is friends with hers and she works a lot of nights.

19. sukuna fixes cars and motorcycles in his free time. he only has space for a single bike in his garage, but he often visits one of kenjaku’s properties to work on other ones that kenjaku has.

i really love thinking about the potential of lightnings childhood. we have no idea what happened, but its up for interpretation, and i think thats great.

neglect - a common headcanon - seems to make so much sense for him. he hates help, he hates being told what to do, but also hes so lonely and in such desperate need of approval and validation that he’ll take the harshest words as long as theyre coming from someone who, at the end of the day, will give him at least one pat on the back for doing something right.

i think this, as we all know, is a major part of his character, but the idea of doc, taking this kid thats been so awfully treated his entire life - who isnt used to affection or any kind of positive attention, who hates being bossed around because he thinks he knows better and can be trusted more than other people would - and essentially finding a midway point so he can be lightnings crew chief in a way that both introduces the idea of gentle help (telling him when to pit, etc etc) and doesnt infringe on lightnings fear? hatred? of being told what to do and how to do it? its perfect. it introduces to this kid with severe abandonment issues the idea of sometimes needing or even just wanting help, and helps him change for the better without forcing him to immediately conform to the idea that oh, he HAS to need help.

lightnings previous crew chiefs are so much different than doc, because while doc takes the time to get to know lightning, to discuss ways they can work together to get around these issues he has while also being able to enforce proper rules within the sport, his crew chiefs before never did this. they didnt get to know him personally, they didnt care. they just knew he didnt listen and had a flaring temper, and it was never really that fair to lightning that they didnt give him a chance. obviously, not all blame is on them, because as much as they didnt put the effort in to find a groove that worked for their driver, he also didnt try to put this effort in (although, really, as an 18 year old with issues surrounding this job that are KNOWN it was never really his job to be the one to initiate finding a solution - hell, he probably didnt even know what the issue was.), he was ALSO the one to fire these people, so they’re both at fault for this in a way.

but, again, i love thinking about this whole childhood thing because not only is doc opening up the help that lightning was always consistently refused to the point he believed he just didnt need it - that all those times he wanted help when he was young was really just him being dramatic - but hes also opening up the option for Family that lightning never had either. doc takes all the awful morals that lightning taught himself (or that harv taught him) because he had no one to teach him the true ones, and flips them around. he becomes the father lightning never had and the guidance that no one had ever given him. god i love found family guys theyre literally father and son

also nobody imagine how silly the first time doc ever ruffles his silly ass sons hair is. lightning freezing because oh, no ones ever done that before, and doc being like ? how badly do i need to kick the shit out of your parents? that is like the most average father appreciation Ever wdym ur dad didnt do that to you at least Once.

Johnny Lawrence and the self-fulfilling prophecy

so i've been thinking about this for a while and also because s6p1 just came out but i think that johnny is one of the best examples of a self-fulfilling prophecy in ck.

SO we've seen multiple times that johnny's been told he ruins people, by danial, robby, shannon, and carmen, even terry. And i'm not gonna disregard his actions, i agree that he has done a lot of stuff that negatively affected himself and those around him, not limited to becoming a functioning alcoholic, teaching kids aggression, drunk fights, being an absentee father, etc

BUT we also see him try a lot of times to get his act together and do better for the people around him, such as teaching miguel mercy, cleaning up his apartment and trying to limit drinking for carmen, and trying to get along with daniel for the sake of his students, but he's still criticized even for trying his best, the only character to consistently have been on his side through his highs and lows has been miguel.

out of all the characters the one who refuses to see johnny's change the most is probably daniel, and this is NOT a daniel hate post, i love daniel and he's one of my favourite kk and ck characters but that doesn't disregard the fact that he tends to have knee-jerk reactions and gets unbalanced easily when it comes to johnny. A lot of the characterization in the show can be attributed to writing choices but i'm going to try my best to not make that my main focus.

when johnny first opens up his dojo its partly because of the anger he feels towards daniel for succeeding in life but mainly because he doesn't want miguel to keep getting beat on and miguel probably reminds him of himself before he met kreese. Daniel is the one to come to johnny and tell him to close cobra kai and this is completely valid seeing as how daniel's experiences with cobra kai were in his youth, however its also been 30 years and its reasonable to assume that johnny isnt still a high school bully. He tells miguel that if he doesnt leave the dojo he'll end up 'just like' johnny. Right off the bat we have someone insinuating that johnny is a terrible role model. Then when daniel starts training robby and discovers robby's homelife he goes to talk to johnny just to immediately turn on him the second he sees kreese, he doesn't talk to johnny to clear up the situation and he doesn't tell him about his son, and yes johnny has been a shitty dad but he deserves to know that his kid is going to be living with someone else (i honestly thought it was crazy that daniel never mentioned that he had johnny's SON IN HIS HOUSE??)

when robby takes sam to johnny's apartment when she was drunk daniel literally kicked down his door and got into a physical fight with johnny because he couldn't believe that johnny was being considered a safe space for his son to bring his crush to in order to sober up and wouldn't listen to johnny rationally asking him to calm down. and S6 SPOILERS but i think that out of the two of them johnny was trying much harder to be accomodating to daniel, he gave up the name cobra kai and eagle fang for miyagi do, worked kata into his teaching and geniunely tried to not be so hard headed and quick to fight. He tried to get a job (daniel making him switch from using karate as a job was honestly crazy, that was literally how he was paying bills and putting food on the table, johnny asking to be paid for his time and effort wasnt an insane ask especially considering that daniel owns multiple dealerships and chozen comes from a rich family as well, johnny is the only one that actually needed the dojo as a way to make money) and just overall be there, im not saying hes a great dad right away but its obvious that he's trying to be there for both miguel and robby without making either one of the boys feeling forgotten. (ex, telling them both he's proud win or lose, tying robby's headband, listening to miguel's college essay)

HOWEVER, it seems that no matter what he does, johnny is almost never seen positively by anyone other than miguel and devon. daniel switches up on him instantly (he drops people at the first sight of their flaws, as soon as johnny takes even a single step backwards instead of acting rationally and looking at the situation + offering support he tells johnny he'll never change and drops him immediately, he did the same thing with robby and doing that to a teenager dependent on you for food and shelter is honestly crazy), carmen has been pretty much sidelined due to the baby (i have THOUGHTS on this), kreese is his only supporter and he was literally tripping balls and snapped hallucination johnny's neck like a stale breadstick so johnny doesnt really have much in the way of a good support system

now for those that have somehow stuck around lol lets get to the actual point (i realized here that i literally just blabbed for so long without making my point lmfao)

a self-fulfilling prophecy is essentially: you become what you are told. if i told you everyday that you will never amount to more than what you are right now, ive 'prophesied' your future and to self-fulfil it you would just stop trying because you know that nothing you do will ever change my mind.

in a similar vein i believe that deep down johnny DOES believe that no matter what he does or how hard he tries he'll never be able to move past the image of him thats already been made up in peoples minds (society for all it talks about rehabilitation does not tend to actually support those who want to rehabilitate- more thoughts below) and so he goes through a constant cycle of disappointing those around him again and again because no one believes he can be any better and he's internalized that, i honestly have soo many thoughts about johnny's character in kk1 and ck and i would love to chat with anyone interested about it

re: society and rehab

so people talk the good talk about how rehabilitation is important and necessary, in the show daniel is able to form good friendships with both chozen and mike who were arguably much worse than johnny was to him (chozen fought in a literal DEATH MATCH against him and mike harassed him, dangled him off a cliff, forced him to compete in a rigged match where he pretty much just whaled on him on the mat), why was daniel able to forgive these guys but not johnny? my theory is that its because to him chozen and mike have their lives together and have also properly apologized for their actions (JJ&H im still waiting on that johnny apology where we address the 'you're alright larusso' line) meanwhile johnny has obviously gone downhill since HS, but daniel never takes his attempts to get it together seriously and along with a lot of the toxic ideals put into him by kreese, johnny doesn't take his rehabilitation seriously either, he can't afford rehab for his alcohol dependency (plus rehab isnt viewed positively by him either) and he doesnt have a very steady support system so that makes it even more difficult. unlike daniel he's never had a positive father figure in his life which makes it difficult for him to act as a father without fear of becoming kreese, i just wish that the show would take johnny's journey to becoming the man he wants more seriously

What neither you--nor your agencies--could prepare for was your children tracking y'all down.

You may be an Avenger (highly skilled and known to put fear in God themself) but at the end of the day you’re a parent first. So, it is no surprise when you lose your shit on the children who infiltrated the highly classified mission you and your husband were on. "I don't want to hear it." "But we just thought--." "And now I have to hear it."

Like you, Everett was very displeased and had to hold his tongue. You already unleashed your wrath he felt maybe it was a good idea to calm the situation than escalate it further by grilling them. He did, however, make his frustration and disappointment known, "We raised you to know better. What the hell were you thinking?! This is not only dangerous, but illegal!"

Your daughter, who you both know had interest in working for Intelligence, immediately went into explanation mode. The excuse they gave--besides missing y'all and worrying about you both not coming home---was that she and her brother could help in the undercover mission. "How exactly do you plan to do that? Several times during the mission you about lost it when your daughter or son scurried off. They'd return with new information, completely shocking you both wondering just how the hell they managed to get it. "Where did you hear this?" "That man told the guy beside him. I pretended to read my book and sat at the table right next to them. They didn't pay me any mind."

At one point you did receive a message from Fury asking why his sources are telling him your son was spotted at y'alls location to which you played dumb and prayed he'd dismiss it. Which he did....cause Fury just wants the job done by any means necessary.

Eventually, after several minutes of going back and forth and deciding not to strangle your kids for being so irresponsible, you eventually agree to their plan. This decision of course came with some ground rules. "You will do as we say--and do not act without permission. The second you do something that results in either of you getting hurt, I will personally be calling the U.S military to get your asses out of here." "Yes ma'am/sir"

By some grace of God, the mission was a success. No one, thankfully, was hurt--except for the associates of the man you and Ross were looking for in a hand-to-hand battle that left your kids speechless from their hiding space. The suspect was contained and transported to the Embassy, you and Ross collected your children and had a dinner involving take out and sodas.

The adrenaline your children experienced was enough to confirm that both wanted to pursue careers in espionage and intelligence. Something you and Everett were concerned about initially, but after seeing them and realizing they were equipped the skills needed to be successful agents/spies, you both accepted the inevitable.

"We did good, didn't we honey?" Ross kissed your temple, clicking his glass with yours as you leaned into his side from your spot watching your kids reenact the fight between you and the bad guys. "We sure did. Who would've thought we'd become a family of spies after all?"

where Neil moved his family to the middle of nowhere Indiana because he knows 80s bumfuck nowhere doesn’t have a lot of support for disabled ppl and hates his son (as we all know)

At first billy tries to hide it, he had gotten used to learning how to read lips and make inferences on what people were saying, if he happened to miss something? He’d just brush it off, saying he wasn’t paying attention.

Billy might have a slight deaf voice, Neil probably came along with his “no son of mine” spiel so Billy had to learn how to speak as Neil thought was “normal”.

Steve begins to notice something different about Billy; slowed reaction time, really focusing on people’s faces, etc, and brings it up to Joyce.

Joyce, concerned, waits until the next time Billy is in her store to ask if everything is okay. Billy panics, he thought he was doing perfect, if he doesn’t his dads gonna kill him, so he very quickly excuses himself out of the store.

i am into all of this. i wanna say way back in the early days of the fandom there was a deaf!billy fic i read.... or it was steve. or it was neither of them and im thinking of another fandom entirely lmfao anyway!

this would put their little staredown at tinas in a whole new context...honestly it puts a lot of billy scenes in new context that boy loves to look and watch and observe.

i would also like to bring in cali bros argilly and say that argyle and billy learned to sign together back home bc neil surely wasnt going to put billy in classes and surely not learn himself, maybe billy had teachers at school who helped? but argyle wanted to learn too since they were besties and he was really the only person billy could talk to after that. so when the hargroves move to indiana billys on his own again and since he doesnt want to out himself as being deaf and ask if anyone knows how to sign, he just pretends to be aloof and like he doesnt give a shit about what anyone says to him (which isnt like... untrue lol)

if he and max still have a bad relationship in this au maybe she hasnt bothered to learn how to sign either cuz like... why is she gonna need it to talk to billy? they dont talk period

steve calling billys name when hes not looking trying to get his attention and it never working so a lightbulb goes off in his head and he starts writing notes to see if that works and sure enough...

joyce picking up books from the library and learning very basic signs for the next time billy comes into the store. she's just trying to be polite but it still makes billy panicky that someone knows. ooooh if neil and billy come into the store one day and she overhears neil giving billy shit about not listening to him and how he needs to get his shit together etc etc and she immediately decides this man needs to be put down like she is not having it but she also knows theres not a whole lot she can do right now besides make her presence known and get him to back down.

steve helping billy out in the classes they share together and even in the classes they dont he finds a way to get notes from other people without letting them know its for billy, and billys constantly wondering how steve keeps pulling this off but steve wont reveal his secrets. them developing this silent language on the basketball court that makes them unbeatable... many thoughts many thoughts

idk how joyce and steve end up joining forces in all of this but i know they do!

here have a sparrow related rant :D (dndads ep 48 spoilers!!)

btw, my entire perception (or all together understanding) of sparrow oak has shifted after this episode-

i think unconsciously i saw the twins as completely different people, like wildly different from eachother, after season 1 and in season 2

but honestly- after we find out that sparrow is the one who enacted code purple, the conversation with henry and mercedes? i still see them as different characters, but i feel like they are actually way more similar than i initially thought

they're just both two guilt ridden idiots, and at first i was really confused why it seemed like sparrow would always group himself with lark when talking about who "ended the world" or whatever (i thought it was probably him saying it in solidarity or whatever, which i think is still partially the reason) but now he also basically did what lark did

i think thats whats heartbreaking to me, because henry immediately forgives lark after he releases the doodler, but sparrow is immediately told he will never be forgiven, and where lark has the motive of wanting to defeat the doodler and become stronger, sparrow has the motive of just wanting to protect his family-

im not saying this is out of character of henry, i definitely think this is how he'd react since he has the knowledge of exactly what code purple will do, and we also know that sparrow tried to lie to him to enact it as well, but its just- fuck

personally i think because of how lark and henrys relationship is in late s1 (and afterwards) henry probably was unconsciously more attentive to lark afterwards, trying to repair that broken relationship- and so his perspective of sparrow is different, sparrow usually goes along with lark and backs him up but he never actually argues with henry or whatever,

so when sparrow does something that he does himself, it seems so off and random to henry, personally i think if he had to think about it that lark would be the twin that what would be most likely to be the one to do it, a lot of it is sparrow acting on his own principle and we really don't see that often, (blah blah, its lark and sparrow not sparrow and lark, blah blah)

basically i think that it was so unexpected of sparrow that henry immediately freaks out and is more aware of the betrayal than he was back when the doodler was released,

im relistening to the mummy issues arc in s1, and was listening to scene of henry and darryl arguing about the pyramid, and i think that's really the thing yk? because henry's moral compass is more pointed towards being selfless, where sparrow seems to be on the opposite side of that in this situation

for example, henry wants to go and get arrested by neverwinter because they had let the pyramid fall instead of trying to save lark and sparrow from the omegadads, which makes sense that he doesn't approve of code purple because it would put faerun in danger, even though it would mean his family would be safe,

and then sparrow, who enacts code purple because even though it would destroy faerun, he and his family would be safe,

ive seen people compare code purple to the trolley problem- and honestly, i agree so much, its similar, where if the same amount of people are on both tracks but one has your friends and family/people you love on one side as well,

really sparrow was put into such a huge position of either way he will end up hurting someone, his 6-year-old son is attacked by a flesh hoard that he can get rid off by flicking a single switch, and of course he's going to do it, even if that means his parents never want to speak to him again and that he dooms another plain of existence to destruction

im just in love with how much this podcast spins morality around, it can be so incredibly philosophical for being a dungeons and dragons podcast about a bunch of stupid dads, it really makes you realize how complicated humans are

Ask Game: How about bio dad might for Bakugo?

1- he puts him up for adoption like i do this ask- i kid i kid

lets try to make this fun, hmm

1- Ok so Toshinori gets Masaru pregnant (oh my god he's a support designer not unlike David. Toshi you can't keep doing this.) and the baby just has a boosted version of Masaru's tiny sparking palms, big explosion palms. because ofa i guess. Except, Masaru is like 'i dont think i can handle being All Might's lover publicly but also i don't think i can handle being a single parent' so when Mitsuki is like Interested he just jumps on that immediately. Toshi figures the baby is safer with a normal couple, pays child support and gets sent pictures occasionally, but doesn't want to impose any more, tho tbh both of the bakugous would be fine if he did.

2- Katsuki has no idea btw. He was told once that Mitsuki was actually his step mom and he didn't believe it. Both his parents figured he didn't need a bigger ego and didn't tell him the truth but did have a lot of fun giggling over getting him All Might merch. This sounds funny now but oh man will it contribute to issues once he knows the truth-

3- speaking of issues, Toshinori does recognize the kid in the slime that the previous kid in the slime is rescuing. he doesn't say anything, but he's extremely glad that this perfect worthy successor kid happened to also save his son. In a panic of losing someone he's never really had, Toshi asks Masaru if he could meet Katsuki in person, maybe start visiting. They and Mitsuki discuss it (complete with injury reveal) and decide why not, though continue to keep his identity a secret. So Toshi spends three hours a day as All Might, and the rest of his time is focused on training Izuku, and in rare breaks from that, hanging out with the Bakugous. Katsuki takes a month before he really believes this guy is who his parents say he is, but he decides the training tips aren't half bad- for a toothpick coughing up gallons of blood every day. For his own part, Toshinori doesn't really pick up anything amiss yet in the family- remember at this point, Katsuki has started to leave Izuku alone, and wouldn't mention him to Toshi anyway. Busy with training and not getting into trouble, none of the more questionable of Mitsuki's and Masaru's parenting choices would be causing much issue or be obvious then.

4- And then UA starts, and on the first day, Toshi watches behind a building as his son attacks his successor, and is as surprised as he is unhappy. but he's not sure how to bring it up, or to fix anything. So he just tries bridging things as All Might for Izuku and as Yagi-san for Katsuki, which... is a process, and also crazy that none of the students realize anything is up there. But so it goes. highlights of things that actually get better because of this: at one point, as Katsuki tells Yagi-san that its a problem because Deku is supposed to be quirkless, Yagi tells him that he's quirkless. Based on his parents expression, Katsuki assumes they didn't know either, but it doesnt make any sense because Yagi isn't annoying and creepy and weak like Deku, he's good at giving hero advice and- oh. oh katuski doesn't like that realization and shoves it down deeper, but also doesn't bite as much about it. Also, Katsuki admits how awful All Might giving him the medal at the SF was for him, and Yagi is very quiet. All Might apoligizes to him the next day.

highlight of something that is so much worse: the final exam.

5- SO THE REVEAL its gotta be at kamino right. The Idiot Rescue Squad has succeeded and are watching the news, and see... All Might lose power on camera. Izuku is already basically in tears, but at the sight, Katsuki reacts by going "OTHER DAD???" which shocks Izuku out of feeling anything else but "WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL HIM???"

there's a lot of shocked screaming. Iida can't even say anything and Kirishima is on the ground giving up trying to understand as Katsuki and Izuku realize how they're both connected to All Might.

The police finally come help take the kids home. No one dares breathe too loudly or text anyone, afraid of another explosion of conversation like that. For his part, Katsuki is going to shake answers out of Toshi as soon as he steps into the house, no attempting to hide behind Aizawa will make it better. Once that... ordeal of a visit and explanation is done, Toshi wearily suggests he have the conversation with the Midoriyas alone. Aizawa looks at the Bakugos, looks at Toshinori, and is like 'oh hell no im not missing this for the world. lets go round two'

So I wrote a fic and someone commented about Megami's roll in the book and in the game series.

I started thinking about it and actually did some research. So basically I looked into a couple of points of information about Megami, her family, and her point of view on Ayano. So here's some of the stuff that I collected.

So I have a few things I can take away from this video. First, Ayano and Megami haven’t officially met yet. And I assume from the fact her family also knows about Ayano, and presumably her family line, that Megumi learned about the Aishi’s through her own family. Second, her family, aside from Megami herself, find a purpose or reason to have Ayano around. That reason is unclean but is also backed up by the call the headmaster gets at the end of the week. And finally, “...every last one of you…” is a very important detail because that implies two things. Either a: She knows that its the Aishi family lineage of being “yanderes” or b: there are multiple families like the Aishi. The second is a stretch but I can’t deny how cool it’d be.

Father. Megami apparently likes art and animals. He is also described as “Soulless” and “Robotic”. Does the Saikou family have the same problems as the Aishi’s? Is this why Megami hates Ayano, because she hates her dad and the Aishi’s are similar to her father? Is this also why the father knows so much about Aishi’ condition? Because Ayano is described as being “activated” and if they only knew of the Aishi’s based on the court case they wouldn’t know about the switch that happens why the Aishi’s find their “Senpais”.

Saisho Saikou:

Grandfather and founder of Saikou corp, just as tyrannical as father. Past military volentr also possible nazi sympathizer. Ot much info in bio itself but info sprinkled in other family members Bios.

YES OH MY GOD I'VE BEEN WAITING TO EXPAND ON THIS i just couldn't figure out how to work it into my story (though, there's a little bit in my original chapter!!). i'm gonna go through roxy, the boys, jo, and camille for this one and its SO LONG but i hope you enjoy bc i had so much fun writing it

Roxy:

How many people are in her immediate family? - The only person in Roxy's immediate family is her father, Declan Somerset. How many people are in her extended family?/Does she have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - Roxy has no idea how many people are in her extended! As far as she's aware, her father has his parents who she's never met and probably never will meet. Her father is the only person who she has ever considered her family, and that's just fine by her. - Information from the author wise, this is just flavor and will probably never come up in the actual story, Declan is an only child, but his parents had many siblings, leaving him with a shit ton of cousins. However, his father and mother both had large age gaps between them and their closest in age sibling so all of his cousins are 10+ years older than him. In combination with leaving home at 17 after falling out with his parents and his family members being far older than he is, he's never felt the need to ever reconnect with anyone blood related to him after moving from Texas to Minnesota. By extension, Roxy has never met or learned about anyone in her family beyond her own father. Who in her family is she closest with? - This may come as a shock: Her father. Is she close with her birth family, or does she have a found family? - Roxy is not close with her bio mom, and Declan being her biological dad would make her technically close with her birth family I guess! - Another fun author fact: In the original draft of this story, Roxy's mother played a big role in her connection to the arts and music and had recently passed away, severing her ties to anything music related. Her father, after seeing this, pushed her to go audition at the pop star search and that's how she ended up meeting the guys etc, etc. but i realized that's almost exactly the same as the plot to one of my favorite shows, Julie and the Phantoms, and i completely wrote her mom out of the story and am now trying to achieve the "Kendall and Katie's dad effect" where she's just never mentioned. She truly matters so little I never even named her lmaooo - In the published version (more flavor text tbh), her mom moved from Texas back to her hometown of Duluth to have Roxy, dumped her on Declan, dipped, and they never heard from her again. I imagine that she was just flirting around the Texas punk scene hoping to get with someone who was going to be famous and accidentally ended up pregnant - when Declan was like 'damn i'm gonna have a kid guess i need a real job now' and left his band to move to Duluth with her, she left him. - Slowly but surely, Roxy's finding Mrs. Knight as a maternal figure, though she's not actively searching for someone to fill that role! - Carlos, Logan, Kendall, and James are also something special to her, though, not quite found family... - Camille and Jo on the other hand... If she imagined having sisters, she thinks it would be a lot like being around them are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - yes/no/not/no or were there only peers from school? - High school friends, Mag and Dani, have been mentioned in the story already a few times! Mag, roped Roxy into joining his band during the first week of her freshman year at her first high school. Dani, the drummer, though mostly keeping to themself eventually came around to both her and Mag enough to join as well. The three of them were mostly just a shitty cover band, but as Roxy started to grow into her own (and into her feelings for Mag) she became comfortable enough to begin sharing her songs with her friends. when this backfired, she was so depressed over everything that had happened with them her father literally made her change schools between freshman and sophomore year so she'd hopefully never see them again. two weeks after the switch, she goes to the audition and her life is forever changed!

2. Carlos

How many people are in his immediate family? - His mother (Sylvia), father (Erik), and three older sisters (Maria, Lupe, and Alena). - Along with these six living under one roof, his grandparents (unnamed, mom's side) live in one of those duplex houses with them How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - Carlos just has the biggest fucking family on the planet, he couldn't name everyone even if he tried. he and his sisters combined couldn't name everyone if they tried! they all meet once every few years to check up on each other, but rarely hear from them outside of that. since they're so large of a family, they're spread out across the US, though he's the first Garcia to settle in California! Who in his family is he closest with? - His dad! If not evidenced from chapter 8, he and his father get along the best. they match each other completely in energy and ideas, and having four girls living with them meant they often had to band together when they ganged up on each other. Is he close with his birth family, or does he have a found family? - Why have one when we can have BOTH! He's close with his immediate family, and sees Logan, James, and Kendall as an extension of this. They're his brothers!!!! Forever!!! Always!!!! are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - no/yes/not/no or were there only peers from school? - Carlos is just such a sweetheart he's got so many friends from school because everyone loves him! While he never got as close to anyone as he did Logan, James, and Kendall, he did value the friendships he made in Minnesota and I imagine he texts his other friends randomly like "had some caramel coffee today, your favorite! miss you!" and "i'll guest list you for the duluth show, let me know if you can make it"

3. Kendall

How many people are in his immediate family? - I see his situation nearly identical to Roxy's with the addition of a sister! - Jennifer and Katie are the only members of his immediate family. How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - 0... I think Jennifer lost her parents at a pretty young age and went through the foster care system which is why she's so overprotective and doting on her own children. She knew what it was like to love and lose, and really wanted a family of her own so her own children would never have to feel the same way. Who in his family is he closest with? - Katie! From the minute he could teach her to scheme, they've been thick as thieves. They know each other so well they might as well be able to communicate via telepathy at this point. Is he close with his birth family, or does he have a found family? - Re: Carlos are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - no/no/not/no or were there only peers from school? - The hockey team! Like he grew up playing with Logan, James, and Carlos I think he's been around those guys for so long they're really good friends of his. I don't think they really keep in contact all that much, but he can see what they're up to on ScuttleButter and will comment on posts etc

4. Logan

How many people are in his immediate family? - His moms, Joanna and Sabina, are the only members of his immediate family. - Another fun fact: In the original draft, Logan had a little brother named Percy! I tried to work him into the story but then it got way too Logan-centric and eventually I just forgot Percy existed at all a la Tina from That 70s Show, so I just took him out entirely. How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - I think Joanna's family keeps in contact and she has both her parents and a few siblings with one or two kids around Logan's age! They're not Duluth local, but they see each other a few times throughout the year and Logan does his best to keep in contact with them, even if they are on the jerky side of the jock spectrum. I think they all play hockey too :) -Sabina's family didn't keep in contact after she came out :( but she was gladly accepted into Joanna's family, so that counts for her extended family! Who in his family is he closest with? - Sabina... She's a pediatric doctor! Through their shared love of medicine, she inspired him to want to pursue his own career in medicine! Though, I'd say he's just as close with Joanna, too, because she's a hockey head! I can't decide lol :) Is he close with his birth family, or does he have a found family? - Logan, while not their bio son, was adopted practically the second he was born and his bio mom needed to put him up for adoption, so he considers his moms his birth family. As seen, they're very close. Also re: Carlos and Kendall on found family <3 are they only children?/do they have any cousins their age they hung out with before hollywood?/how close are they/did they keep in contact? - yes/yes/moderately/yes or were there only peers from school? - re: Kendall, though I imagine Logan is the kinda guy to be in like 40 different clubs too - he's got friends from chess club to AV club to DnD club... How many people are in his immediate family? - From what he considers, his mother, Brooke, even if they don't really get along. His dad, Blake, and his girlfriend, Penny, are just... There. And he has to stay with them sometimes. How many people are in his extended family?/Does he have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - Brooke cut her parents off once she became a successful business owner and moved to the mid-west. He has family somewhere on the east coast, but he wouldn't know how to go about contacting them... He also doesn't really care. - Wanting as little to do with Blake as possible, James tends to avoid family gatherings on that side, but he has two grandparents over there. Penny also has her parents and a sister, but he hates seeing them too. Anything relating in anyway back to his father is something he tries to ignore. Who in his family is he closest with? - By default, Brooke, but only because he doesn't have other options. How many people are in her immediate family? - Her father... She's also a child of divorce to me, so her mother and older sister are in the picture... Just... Also not because her parents separated when they were practically babies. It's where her jealousy issues come from... Her mom cheated on her dad so he split and got Jo in the custody battle and her mom got her sister and moved away from North Carolina. That's why it was so easy for them to up and leave their home state and start a new life in Los Angeles + it was better for his government job. How many people are in her extended family?/Does she have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - She's got grandparents, two uncles, and a few cousins! They helped her dad through the divorce, and Jo is much closer with them than she is her mom and sister. Who in her family is she closest with? - By default, now, her father, though before she left NC, her grandmother! She taught theater at her local high school and inspired Jo to move out to LA to chase her dream <3 They still talk almost every day, too. - Now I'm retconning my own story and saying she's on the phone with her grandma in the chapter where Kendall is trying to woo her LMAO Is she close with her birth family, or does she have a found family? - Birth family for sure, just her dad's side! - Though, as time goes on, Camille and Roxy are starting to feel like sisters! Yeah. - I never gave her parents names, but her brothers (from oldest to youngest) are Gabriel, Jean-Luc, Elliot, Claude, and Jules How many people are in her extended family?/Does she have aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, etc? - She has no clue, considering it was such a hassle to travel with six children her parents just never did, outside of their annual camping trip. So, she's never met all of her family, but she knows she has grandparents, a few aunts and uncles, and a small army of cousins. Who in her family is she closest with? Her closest in age brother, Jules! Before she and her dad moved to Hollywood in her pre-teen years, he was the last remaining brother living in her childhood house before moving out when she was 11. Though their primary mode of communication is through the phone, they talk pretty regularly and are able to match each other's energies well. When she get's all crazy, he always knows what to say to calm her down. Plus, he loves Logan... Can't wait to meet the guy... So Camille loves talking to him! Is she close with her birth family, or does she have a found family? - She's close with her birth family, but since she moved away from them as a young girl, she doesn't really feel all that connected to them. They feel more like extended relatives than immediate relatives, but it doesn't bother her! Just about the basics! He barely finished highschool, not that there were options for higher education in the New Town, other than vocational education in the form of interning for various local businesses.

Both, in spades. It's something of a stalker pastime to drink and smoke, especially after a hard raid in the Zone. He does prefer cocktails to straight spirits but when the Boys are drinking vodka from the neck of the bottle he lets his tastes take second seat.

His team! They've all mostly been friends since childhood and he shares so many memories and firsts with them that it would be very difficult to unwind their lives from one another.

And, well, after many events of his life that leave him sort of lost and aimless, Scarab.

He also of course cares about his family, but they've become very distant with him due to him choosing to become a stalker after his older brother died on a raid.

Yes to both! Maggot isn't much of a fighter, but he also doesn't just let anyone walk all over him. He's killed mutants, bandits and other stalkers all. Though he much prefers incapacitating enemies rather than murder - lets him sleep a little better in the night.

Immediate family - Mother and Father. Older brother died when he was a teenager. I haven't given much thought to his extended family, but I don't imagine its a big one either way. A lot of the Kin died during the Visitation or soon thereafter, even if they were more spared than the regular population. He never knew his grandparents, and his mom was a single child. Mother used to tell stories of her childhood and it always sounds so dreamy and nice. Father's family he isn't close with. Has an Aunt, his dad's sister. They barely speak - she thinks stalkers are the scum of the earth.

His team is sort of found family once he was more or less disowned for becoming a stalker, and he even shares a flat with the unnoficial leader of the team, Dirt.

ciro and kaisei's parents thoughts

kaisei has a mom, his dad passed away when he was really young. His mom wanted to focus on raising kaisei first, and when he was in probably middle school, he could tell his mom was....lonely. he knew he kept her company, but that wasn't the same.

I feel like he learned things like cooking and taking care of the house from helping her out so much. By the time he was in late middle school, i feel like he would have said something to her like "its okay to take time for yourself, i'm not a kid anymore and i can at least somewhat get by on my own while you do you."

He loves his mom a lot and they have a close enough relationship that he can talk with her like that, and he likely told her about his feelings for guys when he was young and unsure of them. She was very supportive of him, having some idea that he was that way for a long time. No matter what, she'd always love her son anyways.

When he is in high school, she does meet someone and he does have a step-dad by the time the story starts. I feel like she may have dated some guys that weren't all that great (and unfortunately some of them may have seemed good until they learned about kaisei. In which his mom immediately dropped them - if they couldn't accept the most important person in her life, they weren't worth her time.)

Kaisei taking Ciro over to meet his mom would be so sweet too. She would really like him - hard worker, loving, and just happy that her son found someone to settle down with. Kaisei probably never outright told his mom about all the sleeping around he did after high school, but she's not oblivious and knew something was up at least. She trusted Kaisei enough though that if he truly needed help, she was there for him.

(Possibly one or two midnight calls between them after he finds out someone he fell for either didn't want him or was with someone already.)

In terms of looks, she probably has muted pinkish/red hair cut to about shoulder length (and one blue horn in the middle of her forehead) but he definitely got his hair from his dad (short, dark, a little wild). His mom has those same electric blue eyes though.

Ciro's parents are a little more distant. They care about him and support him in the ways they can, but they aren't the type of family to really hang out a lot. When i think of his family, i also can't help now imagining he has a younger sister? Probably quite a bit younger, they aren't very close. Ciro is probably seen as the more "successful" one, actually.

Like, to sum them up - Ciro is 27 at the time of the story and in the entire 27 years he's been alive, the family maybe has gone one, possibly two family trips together.

His dad works for a pretty well-off company, and his mom possibly worked within that company before Ciro was born and that was how they met. Once his mom had him though, she chose to stay home and raise him.

It's so funny though because thinking about what his parents look like, I realized Ciro's natural hair color is dark brown. He just dyes it because he likes his mom's hair color and wanted it for himself 😭

He is closer with his mom than his dad btw. Mostly because she is the one that was just, around more y'know? He does get along with his dad, but they don't share a lot of similar interests so if they're left to their own devices, it's.

His sister is actually closer with their dad, I think. She wants to go into a field of work similar to her dad, so they have that common ground. She's only 19 or 20 in the story though, so she still lives at home for sure.

As far as them coming out to their parents, like I said - Kaisei probably came to her about it when he was still young. Ciro on the other hand, I don't think he told them until after he was dating Kaisei for a while (mostly because he didn't realize himself that he was gay until he broke up with his ex). Couldn't tell them what he didn't know lol.

But in the same way Yoai seemed to know, I think his parents did too. They didn't treat him differently for it, they probably just, didn't care much. Like not to say oh they didn't care about him anymore, just more of "okay. it's not a big deal, you're still our son, it is what it is. Now how is this fashion business of yours coming along? Making lots of profit from it?" - his dad because he's always interested more in hearing about Ciro's business (like actual business) things

Oh God, I think his dad is an accountant.

Anyways, yes both of their families would definitely come to their wedding.

Never added the arsene drawing so here's what she looks like.

I never really mentioned characters races either! Satan is biracial, part white part some poc, I don't really wanna decide specific races and in canon their DNA tells them nothing about their race and i wanted people to be able to headcanon their race. That being said feel free to give me your headcanons on what Satan + his family's are. Arsene and her sisters were originally meant to be vaguely white but rn I'm considering making them Spanish (Spain Spanish not Latin America Spanish) to fit with the idea that their pantheon has a bunch of races. Nico is tri-racial, he's part black, German and greek. Of course, it's mostly a demon equivalent. He is meant to be very white passing

Nico!

Nico is part of a group of demons that during the war between hell and heaven had to drop on the planet Ayuzuma and go into hiding in the Ayzumian hell. The groups where the would be Plutonian demons and the would be Solarian demons. These two groups created a unique kind of demon, the Ayuzumian demon, who was known to be grey and possibly have the solarian demon tail but are so varied its hard to know.

Nico was born to a would be Plutonian father and a would be Solarian mother. He adored his parents, his father became ruler of the Ayuzumian hell before it was ever the red kingdom. Most rulers of hell are royalty but Nico's dad was never considered royalty, he functioned of like a government but without terms, though since hell is a whole country president or prime minister is probably better but yeah. Nico grew up working in the government house doing various jobs, he liked being a public servant. I think the last position he held though was probably a senator. He also eventually got a baby sister! Unfortunately though this did not last long as one day he learned from a coworker of his fathers' that someone had assassinated his entire family except him. His fathers' second in command had to take over to give Nico time to mourn and bury his family. There were talks of Nico inheriting but Nico really didn't want to. While the people were okay with what the second in command wanted they would rather have someone else lead. Their home was a mess and nobody could make a decision so Nico headed to Earthinian Hell, where the Satanels lived. Nico told Diablo that his home was chaos due to his fathers' death and they couldn't decide on a new ruler and he wanted Diablo to send someone that could set things right. Diablo felt sympathy and he sent his elder son, Satan, to live out a punishment from the recent disappearances of two of the seven deadly sins. Diablo also offered Nico a new job as bodyguard to Satan so he sticks to ruling Ayuzuma, and Arsene, to make sure nothing happens to her in her line of work. Nico didn't necessarily need one but it would get him into learning about fighting which Nico never really got to do so he took it. He helped Satan, his ex-wife Arsene move to the government house. When they came to Ayuzumian Hell since Nico brought back THE Satan Satanel everyone immediately accepted them, no questions asked. For the time being, while waiting on renovations to make a new part of the palace, they converted some of the old rooms into bedrooms, and Nico started learning blood magic and fighting under Satan. Satan and Arsene could easily have kept a professional relationship only with Nico, but Arsene has always been close to her bodyguards and she befriends them, so that's what they did. Satan and Arsene comforted Nico and let him take off when needed, and Nico was there for them in return. Nico was not just a bodyguard but a good family friend. Nico eventually also found love in Katherina Astraia, Queen of The Fuschia Kingdom and they had a daughter named Bree together. Katherina unfortunately was not a good person and separated. Anyway his backstory is long let's get into his traits.

Nico is a very shy and sweet person, he's very quiet and awkward even occasionally around people he knows. He loves reading. He's protective of others, especially Bree, he's the only family he's got and is afraid of something happening to her. He also visits his deceased family members' murals a lot. While renovations were being made a few old coworkers came together and commissioned paintings of his mom, dad and baby sister, and Nico frequently visits them, talks to them, and I imagine maybe either their graves are embedded in the walls or something too since they spent a lot of time here. Nico lived in his childhood home but eventually he sold it and regretted it and he wants it back but its not happening anytime soon most likely. Also about the hair, the picture is inaccurate and more of his book 2 and 3 appearance, in book 1 he dresses in hoodies and sweatshirts and has short hair. He's a lot like Arsene in a sense that he feels beneath others and has to serve him, while he's more a literal servant. He's also very smart, not only was he a civil servant for a long time but he loves learning and acquiring knowledge.

Morning Writeblr, why don't we start introducing the main cast of kingdoms?

The main protagonist is Satan Satanel, no, not also Lucifer, and no, not the one that fell from Heaven, that's his father. As the name suggests, he is a demon, but he is one with a more human-like appearance. Satan has been living out a punishment on causing the disappearances of two demons for over two thousand years now. In time Ayuzuma has become a beloved home. He rules a kingdom in Ayuzuma called The Hell Sector of The Red Kingdom, as the Red Kingdom consists of both Ayuzuma's heaven and hell.Satan will go to extreme lengths to protect his family, even if it's members he's not close to nor ones he doesn't get along with. He overworks himself a lot. He suppresses his emotions a lot. He also has a temper, but he does his best to keep it controlled in the presence of his kids. Wants to be very independent from his father. Also keeps a diary. (Bio is kinda spoilers ngl but whatever)
