I’m very hopeful for the server… despite everything. And I want the server to do well….

But idk. With everything rn, I find it just making me want to start just deleting all my socials again and go back into hiding.

The QSMP brought me back and I was having a wonderful time during (despite everything going on behind the scenes of the server) and the people on here were so lovely. It made me feel happy in general.

Forgive me if you think it’s doom posting but this is just, it’s something I’ve started to feel for a while.

♥️Reveling in Richonne - TOWL

#16: The Secret Rendezvous (1.02)

Ok, this scene has got to be a Top 5 TOWL scene for me. I love everything about Richonne's secret rendezvous from the 🔥 walk-up at the beginning to the passionate embrace at the end 😍...

So first we see Michonne talking to some CRM leaders during a vetting process. And again TOWL stayed aware of Danai’s flawless face card with the close-up shot. Contrasting the start of the episode when she says her name is Michonne, here she’s following what Rick told her and changing her name to introduce the CRM and us to a B named Dana Bethune.

Michonne is in her acting bag as she shares, “My name is Dana. And I’ve been out there a long time by myself. So long that it’s strange to hear my own voice.” Michonne smartly mixes truths into her lies as she tells them “I was in Georgia for a long time with my boyfriend and about 40 people” She really was in Georgia with her boyfriend both from before the apocalypse and the boyfriend-turned-husband she found in season 3 😋. 

Michonne says their group was led by leaders who she thought were good and says she was with her sister Elle, who was the HR lady from the caravan group at the top of the ep. Michonne says, “And then things changed. They changed. I saw it. I knew we should go. You always really know when to go.” Look at her passing Nat’s mentality down to the CRM. 😊 I was like CRM, y’all should be scared because a loyal person like Michonne is going to make sure Nat’s death is avenged. 💯

She’s asked about her weapon of choice and she says a Bo staff that she lost and is now making do with a knife. Playing up a certain aloofness Michonne looks at herself in the reflection of a window or two-way mirror idk. And you know while they’re observing her, sis is also observing everything about this place while trying to just appear more meek and even ditzy.

They ask if it bothers her that she’s being watched and it already shows how privy she is to things that she can tell she’s being surveilled. She softly says, “No I just haven’t seen myself in a while.”

The CRM folk start telling Michonne about the place and how she can never leave and you can just see Michonne have a subtle reaction like 'Yeah alright we’ll see about that.' She knows that never-leave rule is about to get broken. Best believe.

They ask how she feels about the fact that she can’t leave and Michonne smiles and says, “I feel that what’s here, it’s what I’ve been looking for. It’s what I’ve been trying to believe in just a little while longer.” And not a lie was told right here. 💁🏽‍♀️

They have her baby up in this place so they absolutely do have what she’s been looking for. And I love her referencing the 'believe a little longer' motto from the iPhone and also how it again affirms that she believes in Rick so much just like in Rick's dreams. He’s what she’s been believing in.

This was a greatly acted scene from Danai playing Michonne playing Dana playing the CRM. 🤭 Like I love that Michonne was sorta playing in the CRM's face a bit and it was just so clear the CRM does not stand a chance against this woman. She’s a mother on a mission. Nothing is stopping her. 👌🏽

So then we see Michonne walking around the CRM in a consignee jacket and I love that hers has a cinched waist. Michonne isn't letting that boxy jacket completely hide the Coca-Cola body. I’m here for it. 💅🏽

As Michonne walks around you can tell that, similar to Woodbury, she’s making note of quite a bit in this place - except this time she’s trying to blend in more like her husband told her. And the main thing Michonne clearly wants to know as she's walking around right now is - where is Rick Grimes.

She walks up some steps clearly trying to see where he could be, and even with all these CRM soldiers in helmets I know she’d be able to spot Rick if she saw him among them. And why? Because of that walk. 😏

But baby, she doesn’t have to spot him because of course the magnets in them have Rick spotting her first and making a beeline to her. I adore this walking moment. 🤩 I rewound it so much cuz I too love that man's walk lol.

So Michonne is walking and then we see a soldier very intently making his way to her and I love the way it’s shot. Rick’s walk is iconic and so I love that that’s how you can immediately tell it’s him. And as we know, we’re not the only one who loves Rick’s walk because as he approaches Michonne and quietly takes her arm Michonne has this instant smitten smile upon recognizing his touch and walking alongside him. 😊

This scene made it clear that TOWL was gonna have a lot of fun with Richonne’s love and desire being at the foundation of the show. And you just know Rick was eagerly waiting for the moment he could get to her. He was a man on a mission. A mack-on-Michonne mission. 😌

And the moment as he takes her arm and silently guides her into a room is just hot, what can I say? 🔥

I love seeing Rick take control and seeing Michonne try to be subtle but clearly look so excited to be back with him. 😊

Also, now y’all when would a soldier…especially this soldier, grab a consignee by her arm and guide her into a room alone lol? That alone likely would've raised suspicions around the CRM. But I'm glad they did it anyway cuz it was a joy to see Rick and Michonne walk side by side again. CRM, y’all don’t even know you now have the most lethal married couple in your midst walking arm and arm rn. 🤭

Rick leads her into the room and gives one last look outside to make sure no one is headed their way. The way he looks around before going inside, you know he knows exactly what they're about to do.

So then we get a top-tier scene as Rick and Michonne walk into the garage?? Idk what that place was exactly so I’ll just call it a garage lol. 

Rick and Michonne walk into the garage and give each other a quick look before checking to make sure the coast is clear. Rick checks one side and Michonne checks the other and then y’all, Rick has a very clear mission and it’s not swapping information it’s swapping saliva lol. I promise you, dishing out information and making a plan was secondary on the agenda for Rick during this secret rendezvous. 😋

Rick proceeds to put his helmet down and before Michonne can even confirm that she doesn’t see anybody on her side, Rick grabs her and they basically pounce on each other with kisses and it’s the best. 😊They both are starving for each other and this kiss made it clear.

You can tell the moment Rick put that helmet down he was laser-focused on loving on Michonne. He basically said I’ll brief you on this mysterious advanced society that’s kept me from you for years if we have time in between the main priority of making out.

I adore the way he grabs her neck and then the way Michonne is always ready to match the energy as she wraps her arms around him. And y’all, how nice of them to have a kiss that is as pleasing to the ear as it is to the eye because they, and Rick especially, stayed moaning in these TOWL kisses. Love to see it/hear it. 😋

I always say Richonne’s kisses are a form of communication and their first wordless conversation in the CRM - or 'moanversation' if you will - had them both making it very clear to each other that they’re ecstatic to be back together.

And after almost 8 years apart, the intensity of this kiss makes perfect sense, and I love that they knew exactly how to communicate how hungry Richonne are for each other in every way. This kiss is A1. 👏🏽

Like the way they lean against the vehicle and Rick puts his arm up against the vehicle to be mindful of Michonne adds such a cute caring layer to this whole top-tier moment. And the way they’re swaying and wrapped up in each other, her knees buckling, his hands in her hair, the way he chased her lips at the end. Just yes to all of it. 👏🏽

I love how the kiss is so immensely passionate and then afterward they just have this moment of holding each other and breathing together. Seeing the way Michonne smiles after and touches his face, you can seriously see how safe she feels with Rick. Like she still knows so little about this place but she’s back in his arms so she knows somehow it’ll be okay. 🥲

And then y’all, we get the first signature Richonne forehead touch in TOWL as they break from the kiss and still stay wrapped in each other's arms. It's one of the classic Richonne things they do and I love the intimacy of it. 🥹

That kiss clearly left them breathless as Rick whispers, “They believed you.” And Michonne earnestly asks, “How do you know?” Rick says, “You’re here.” And the way he says that you can tell his elation comes not just from the fact that she passed the CRM vetting process but most of all that she’s really here with him after all this time.

And then because Rick is like this rendezvous is about making out first, information second - he goes right back to kissing Michonne and moaning as they pull each other in as close as possible. 😊

Michonne reciprocates but then she notices something. And this is where the loss of Rick’s hand is mourned yet again by me because we all know the reason Michonne notices Rick’s missing hand is because she’s like normally this would be the part where I feel your hand on my backside but it hasn’t happened yet so, something must have happened.

After not feeling that signature palm on her behind, she stops to touch Rick’s prosthetic and I adore how Rick is still so in the moment of kissing her that he kisses her one more time as she turns to look at his arm. The man is voracious about his wife and I love it. 😊

Michonne gently holds his prosthetic in her hand and looks at Rick with so much care and concern as she wonders what happened. I feel like this is the first time in years that anybody showed this level of care for what Rick went through and I love that she immediately wants to know what happened to her baby. You know if the CRM had cut his hand off themselves the beef she has with them would only intensify. In a way, the CRM did have a hand in Rick losing his hand so they gotta pay.

Rick looks down at his prosthetic too and shares sadly but also with a certain resolve, “It happened a long time ago. One of the last times I tried to get home.”  I love that he says 'tried to get home' rather than just 'tried to get away.' It shows that in every way the CRM is not home - Michonne and their family still are home to him.

Also, it’s interesting how for Michonne this is devastating news but for Rick, this is old news and he’s just like what’s more important is making out rn. But Rick’s words catch Michonne’s attention as she repeats his words back and says, “One of the last times?”

This is Michonne’s first indicator that Rick might have stopped trying to get home. I think in her mind she thought surely Rick would have been still working on an escape but after fighting like hell to get home for years he had to stop trying - and not even because he wanted to give up but because he was made to feel that going home could get his wife and loved ones killed.

(Side note: I love that the bullet shell from Rick's gun is visible in Michonne’s hair in this scene. She really found every way possible to still be close to him 🥲)

Rick’s reaction to her asking this makes me emotional. 😢 He looks into her eyes as he too hears how his words sound and then he takes a deep breath. Breathing tells a very informative story throughout TOWL. And with this inhale from Rick you can just feel the weight of what he’s been through and now, finally having a moment to share some of it with Michonne, it’s probably difficult for him to even know where to begin.

It’s hard because we as the audience got to see how hard he fought to get home but at this moment you know it's overwhelming to even know how to tell Michonne how hard this years-long separation and imprisonment has been on him. But he so badly wants Michonne to know that it wasn’t for a lack of trying or a lack of love that he stopped trying to get home.

He tells her, “They had me trapped.” And then the way my heart literally overflows with emotion when Rick so sincerely says, “They don’t have me anymore.” It’s so moving and beautiful to see Rick become the heart-eye emoji as he tells Michonne they don’t have him anymore. 🥲

There’s a clear second part of that sentence that’s not said aloud but rather in Rick's eyes - 'they don’t have me anymore...because I’m yours.'

The way he looks at her with that teary-eyed smile, knowing he’s hers. 😭 It's touching and layered because he so sincerely wants to reassure Michonne of this, all while knowing that the damage they've done to him is pretty severe.

It’s also so powerful for him to say this because while their situation is still dire and in many ways, Michonne and us will learn the CRM does still have him more than he’d like, in this moment Rick genuinely wants to believe that he’s no longer chained to the CRM.

They don’t get to have him anymore, even if that’s what it still looks like on the outside, because the woman who makes him come alive, the brightest light in his world, is back with him. That alone makes him feel like he is no longer stuck with the CRM.

Rick knows his heart will always belong to her and that was communicated in this sweet line and his loving eyes and smile at her after he says it. 

Rick then says with certainty, “We will get away. Together” because right now he does believe that Richonne can do anything. He’s tried to get away for years but having Michonne here now makes all the difference.

And I love the eye contact as he looks at her with so much love and smiles, feeling so right being back with her. Like just looking at her gives him strength. At the same time, it moves me how much you can see in his eyes that he's eager to be the determined and strong man Michonne once knew, despite feeling dead and broken after what he endured the last seven or so years.

Michonne of course believes and is comforted by Rick’s words that they’ll get away together as she smiles and nods. Again she trusts him more than anybody in the world.

Also, I love how Rick’s reunion with Michonne as his wife is one where without even having to address it they both just know they’ve waited for each other. They know they’re still the one to each other. As we know, after just a few months Rick reunited with Lori and she was already pregnant with his best friend's baby. So it’s beautiful to see Rick now reunite with his wife Michonne after years and know that she really has only wanted him all these years. And if anything her big reveal will be that she was pregnant with his baby. 🥲

But while that's understandably not revealed in this scene, there's still some more great mom and dad content when Rick again wants to confirm his baby girl is okay.

He asks, “They're okay? She's okay?” I love him asking that and the way he asks, nodding and looking right into Michonne's eyes. Again it’s so vulnerable and caring. A true father. You know making sure his loved ones are good is so important to him.

And “they’re okay” means team family which is sweet that he wants to know they're okay. I liked hearing "they're okay?" too because while Rick doesn't know it, he does in fact have more than one kid out there and it almost felt like without even knowing it he’s asking if both his kids are okay.

Michonne answers with a smile and says, “Yes. She’s okay.” She has this smile that’s so specific to when she’s thinking about her kids and it’s precious. 🥲

Michonne continues, wanting to finally tell Rick all about how amazing their daughter has turned out as she goes, “She’s…” but then she stops herself and you just know the image of a certain Little Brave Man has popped into her head. 😭

And it’s a moment that hits my heart as you see Michonne feel both joy and sadness. Because she misses RJ too and because she knows Rick is going to be filled with layered emotions the second he learns of him.

Since the moment she found out she was pregnant you know Michonne longed to be able to share with Rick that they had a baby. Rick can tell she has something big to say too as he asks, “What is it?”

I noted in this scene you can really tell that Rick can sense that Michonne has something major to tell him and he knows it’s about their immediate family but he doesn’t know what it is which is why he keeps thinking it might have to do with Judith being okay. Like you can see sometimes he searches her eyes trying to figure it out because whatever the news is he can feel it’s about their kid. And he’s right. It's just about the kid he doesn't know of yet.

And you can also see the thoughts running through Michonne’s head as she and Rick stay in each other's arms between these vehicles. She longs to tell him about RJ but knows this isn’t the right time yet. And as always, she’s right. I heard there were some viewers upset and thinking she made the wrong choice by not telling Rick right here and now and that was wild to me.

This is Richonne’s first time getting to even have an extended conversation and even then it can’t be that long because they can’t risk being caught. And major life-changing news that you have a son that you had no clue about and have missed all of his life thus far is not the kind of thing to drop on someone when there won’t even be time to elaborate and ask questions and just process the news together.

I fully support Michonne choosing to wait and it’s actually such an act of kindness to Rick because she knows that news is going to shock him and be very bittersweet and just a lot to take in and she ideally wants to tell him when they can more freely talk.

Like after holding their child in her womb alone she basically chooses to now hold the news of their son alone just a bit more for Rick’s well-being.

Rather than just drop it on him and have him carry that news on top of carrying the task of getting them home, she shows discipline and restraint and lovingly smiles as she tells him, “When we get away.” (Also I always just love thinking that when Michonne looks at Rick here she’s seeing all of RJ’s little traits he got from his dad. 🥰)

I adore the way Rick says, “No. She’s okay?” He’s such a concerned dad and again he knows, because of his and Michonne’s interconnectedness, that there’s something more she has to say about their immediate family. I just love that he’s like I can’t wait until we get away to know for certain our baby girl is okay. But Rick, little do you know the news is actually about your beautiful baby boy.

Also, the fact that Rick is so not okay after everything he’s been through all these years but his main care is that Judith is okay 🥲. Warms my heart.

And then the way Michonne responds, it’s my favorite thing ever. 🥹She says the absolute perfect thing as she assuredly tells him, “She’s us, Rick.”

Y’all. 😭 It’s the perfect response and so true. Judith really is a little Richonne baby. 🥹

It’s so beautiful for Michonne to tell Rick that their daughter is just like her mom and her dad. Rick gets to know not only is their baby alive and okay but she has qualities like him even despite his absence and she’s also like the love of his life which you know would make him happy to see Judith turn out like Michonne.

I love that Michonne looks at Judith and sees her and Rick. 🥹 And that they’re an 'us' like that. And also I love the way Michonne has her hand in Rick’s hair as she comforts him with this confirmation that their baby girl is bound to be okay because she’s just like her resilient parents.

Michonne calmly says, “The rest when we get away” and hearing Judith is them is enough for Rick to feel a bit less anxious and agree to wait for the rest of the family updates.

He nods and then remembers this is probably also a good time to get their next steps in order.

Rick tells Michonne if he passes her a note somehow she has to read it and destroy it. Michonne looks into Rick’s eyes because she has to address some things about this shady CRM as she tells him, “They killed people, Rick. Dozens of people.” I know Michonne is like my friends died and I almost died from these people so wth is this place? (Also I love how often she says Rick’s name since they've reunited.)

As Rick mesmerizingly stares into her soul (and i'm not even exaggerating about that lol) Michonne says, “They’re killing people out there. Have you had to…?” And before she can finish the question, Rick is quick to want to make it clear that he means it when he says he’s not with them as he says, “No. No. The ones in red. They go out sometimes. They come back covered in blood.”

He looks at her toward the tail end of that statement but it’s interesting how for the most part he looks down when talking about the CRM, again almost like there’s this sense of shame and fear surrounding them.

He says, “Most of us don’t know what they do. I didn’t know.” Rick looks into Michonne's eyes as he admits to not knowing about the CRM's mass killings and then he vulnerably says, “But I knew. I was stuck here.” That’s the one thing the CRM made very clear to him. 

Seeing the toll the CRM has taken on her friends and now her husband, Michonne knows the CRM needs to be taught a lesson and brought down so she, as determined as ever, asks Rick, “Could we stop them?”

And y’all I absolutely adore Rick’s response to her. 😍 The way a big smile spreads across his face as he gets to see Michonne is still the woman he knows and loves who won’t take anything lying down. She's still her. Again, you just see him have so much love for the part of her that’s a fighter. Like the way Rick just has to swoon for a second over his wife's determination is the sweetest thing. 😊

But then Rick collects himself, knowing taking on the CRM is too risky as he definitively answers, “No.” Michonne takes a moment to look at Rick, surprised and searching for the man who was always willing to fight the fight with her before. Then she asks, “Could we try?” 

Rick is quiet for a moment, not wanting to have to just turn her down about this, but he knows a thing or two about how hard you can try against the CRM and they still come out on top. So he softly says, “We’d never get back.” Getting home with Michonne is the ultimate priority for him.

And then in the first of many times Rick will gift Michonne in TOWL, he reaches into his pocket and gives Michonne Nat’s signature lighter that his stepparent Danger gave him. 🥹

Once again Rick wins Husband of the Year because how sweet is his good kind heart that he saw the lighter in the woods and pocketed it knowing it would mean something to Michonne to have something of her late friend. He’s the best. 🥰 And I love the way he gently lifts up her hand with his prosthetic to give her the lighter and the way their hands linger in each other as she takes it. Every time they touch it's clear they're magnets. 🧲

Rick so sweet and sincere says, “I’m sorry about your friend.” Like truly, anything and anyone that means something to Michonne means something to Rick because he loves her so much - even the guy who nearly killed Rick by shooting down his helicopter.

Michonne, never one to forget her loved ones' memory, says, “He should’ve lived. They all should’ve lived.” But then she takes a quiet moment and confidently looks right into Rick’s eyes as she says, “I’m here now. We’re in here together now. And we’re gonna get home.”

I love how Rick and Michonne both want to fervently reassure each other of this - that they’re in this together and they’re going to achieve their goal of getting home because they’re here as a unit now. Having each other back makes them know they can do anything…at least for now. 

And then Rick is ready to go back to the activity that was always at the top of his agenda for this secret rendezvous because he’s like 'Michonne, you can’t be a hotly determined A like that and think these magnets aren’t going to kick in to overdrive and have me eating your face again lol.' #DirectQuote 😋

So Rick of course leans in to kiss her again and Michonne looks like she might’ve thought they were going to continue the conversation but then of course it takes less than a second for her to reciprocate the energy and start passionately kissing him back.

I really adore that closing kiss. These kisses stay feeling like they’re trying to inhale each other and physically morph into one being. and then I especially adore the way they embrace after it, just overcome with the amount of love they pour out to each other. It’s so sweet seeing them nestled into each other. 🥰 Every physical Richonne action, from the kisses, the forehead touches, the embraces, and more is so 'spine-tinglingly' intimate.

As Rick leans against her, you can see that he does feel a bit overwhelmed and unsure of how he’s gonna get them out of here. But being wrapped in her arms now he’s at least given the strength and the calm to know somehow they’ll find a way.

And as Michonne holds him close, she looks like so long as she has him, she’ll face whatever else may come her way in this giant mysterious place. It really does feel like she's transferring this much-needed uplifting energy and reassurance to him as they stay in this embrace.

The way Richonne gives each other life gives me life. And this scene makes me so happy like it’s oozing serotonin.

Richonne is in for quite a roller coaster after they leave this moment in the garage so I appreciate this scene - their first extended conversation in years - for giving them a time when they're on the same page.

With this scene, they got to show that their chemistry is still as fiery as ever and they’re still such a well-oiled machine as parents and partners. Whenever Rick and Michonne are in each other's arms they’re in the safest place they could be.

But while they’re the ultimate safety to each other, to the CRM...Richonne is most definitely the danger. 😌👌🏽

sebastian sallow | general thoughts / headcanons with gryffindor!mc

this is just overall thoughts on the sebastian arc and his general characterisation (yes, i am continuing to update this on my second playthrough)

spoilers below

the amount of times i’ve caught sebastian looking at mc through the start of my now second play-through is hilariously adorable, like don’t get me wrong the herbology one is absolutely the best, but i noticed that throughout charms sebastian is just staring at mc (like he’s straight up starts ignoring ominis speaking to him when they walk in the room) also the slight glances in defence against the dark arts before the duel is so cute.

he does it again whilst sirona and rookwood are arguing, like he just turns to them and similes

you can’t convince me otherwise that mc didn’t grab at least his arm to pull him away from ranrok, like it genuinely looks like that and if you squint hard enough it looks like he does the same thing when heading into the three broomsticks

listen i’m specifically playing as fem! & gryffindor! and the missions with ominis feel so reminiscent of the golden trio (i’m calling it now, they’re the electrum trio - a metal mixed with gold and sliver) especially the crucio side-mission

saw someone in a comment sum their dynamic up perfectly from my perspective

“i used to have beef with ominis before this (crucio) quest happened and now it’s me, a gryffindor dragging two slytherins by their shirt collars”

slight tangent but ominis is so sweet if you start as a slytherin! i saw my friend start his game and meet him in the common room and i was like “i’m sorry, is this the same tory bastard that yelled at me for nicking his pal?”

if anything sebastian comes off worse in that section.

almost every streamer i’ve came across assumes he’s flirting, like this was absolutely intentional

when either of the boys, particularly sebastian is speaking to imelda and the conversation of mc comes up she absolutely refers to mc as “that gryffindor of yours”

i mean, it’s the age old rivalry that just gives everything that extra oomph! despite the fact nobody seems to be questioning that a gryffindor has closely befriended not one, but two slytherins because that certainly isn't suspicious (i'm surprised one of the gryffindors didn't bring it up - particularly leander)

speaking of leander, why are the more prominent gryffindors (and ravenclaws) so antagonistic or hellbent on getting us in trouble?

sebastian’s jealously towards both his friends is dripping in the crucio quest like, in the line below i know he means because mc and ominis have special abilities but...

"between the two of you, i'm starting to feel left out"

the constant proud "that's my girl" look on his face

"never know who's watching - although that hasn't stopped us before." "strictly speaking, it has. we were caught."

also at the start of the library mission, anyone notice the way he's casually waiting on mc against the banister smiling up at her? or whilst he's waiting on her and ominis to figure out the location of the scriptorium? like, this boy knows he's the shit.

listen, there are certain things that sebastian said and did during his storyline that even at that age, i would’ve noped out of but i went in with a “yes, corrupt the little goody-two-shoes gryffindor madly infatuated with you” attitude and honestly it was so much fun. cause objectively yeah, sebastian should be expelled at the very least but my mc was not gonna let them do that (they're very much giving jd and veronica)

that said, mc isn't about to let him walk all over her, she's a gryffindor for a reason, she's just had some misguided judgement

don’t love how there isn’t much of a reaction from either boy after crucio is cast on mc, especially from sebastian (again, massive red flag) but also, think the devs missed the mark on that one like sebastian is still mc’s friend, yeah he really wants to see anne healed but a little sympathy shown would’ve been nice and a proper acknowledgement of what'd he'd done.

even if sebastian shrugged it off quickly he should've helped them walk or at least offered a hand to stand up

general headcanons (oc-ish)

he'd absolutely mutter continuous little digs and comments throughout their classes simply to get under her skin and make her smile whilst she's trying to listen to their professors (he used to do this to ominis but he's able to ignore sebastian now after years of the torment)

whilst having dinner in the great hall they won't be sitting together but they'll lightly tap or nudge one another on the back if they're passing behind each-other's designated tables

sebastian refers to the fat lady painting as the "golden gate keeper of mediocrity" after walking mc back to gryffindor tower, which earns him a mildly deserved elbow jab

he gives mc piggy-backs during their trips to hogsmead and the quidditch pitch

whilst she's walking to and from classes with cressida or natsai, sebastian is regularly seen inserting himself between them, putting an arm over mc and / or pinching her away over to ominis and nerida

"who would've thought, all it took was a snake to tame the lion" cressida noted to a disinterested leander, peering over at the scarlet robes peaking beneath the sea of green

mc likes to softly poke at his blushing cheeks, joking that if sebastian "gets any redder, he won't be allowed back into slytherin" or that "he might have to come back to gryffindor with her"

mc has on occasion accidently fallen asleep, resting her head on his shoulder during history of magic

most of the gryffindors (nellie, leander and garreth in particular) will tease sebastian as he waits for her outside the common room, claiming "she was ours first" and attempt to distract her for as long as possible beyond the painting just to 'knock 'im down a few pegs'

they're well aware she's highly capable of holding her own, but not only is he a slytherin, he's also sebastian sallow so they're protective

he much prefers bumping into natty, who'll make a light "lost puppy" joke, share laugh and proceed to actually go get mc or he would actively seek out lucan because he knows the kid sucks-up to him but eventually the older gryffindors caught-on and would bribe lucan with chocolate frogs to stop him in his tracks

mc enjoys exposing sebastian to muggle trinkets and snacks, she grew up in a travelling circus with her parents, a ringmaster and fortune teller who never attended hogwarts in their youth (i'm gonna do a separate oc bio)

the trio all share a love of pumpkin pasties and lavender tea so whoever has a free period (or when sebastian has detention) will pop down to the kitchen to collect some

forehead kisses, hugs and interlocked arms whilst exploring the castle are everything to these two (their subtle little height difference is adorable, especially when you remember fem!mc is wearing wee wedged shoes at the start of the game)

So I’ve kinda been thinking (COTL post btw I’ll get back on some DSAF stuff soon). Spoilers for post game.

Purgatory is kinda underutilized in fics.

The bishops have spent who knows how long reliving their deaths on repeat and each seems to kinda have different feelings about this judging from their purgatory pre battle dialogue.

Leshy repeats his initial dialogue from the original fight, but at the end seems to have something of a cry for help with “end this” implying he does indeed find the experience to be hellish. It feels like a plea for any kind of mercy, not as blatant as Kallamar sure but just as poignant. Leshy is suffering BADLY, bad enough that he’s begging for an end to it. The fact he repeats the original dialogue too is also interesting because of this. The whole thing feels very… defeated. It makes sense, he’s been here the longest in most playthroughs. He’s accepted he can’t fight his way out and has resigned to fighting, but still begs for freedom.

Heket is seemingly angry about this and seems to be venting her anger through what is currently her only outlet, killing the lamb repeatedly, which she may or may not be finding more success in than the others as she seems to be less damaged implying she’s been dying less than she’s been killing. Time in a hellish purgatory may have in fact strengthened her resolve to fight. Though I’d say it feels like a temporary resolve, something of a desperate grab to take power of this situation, eventually things will change and she’ll end up in a much similar place to the others.

Kallamar’s dialogue is what is to be expected from the so called “scardy squid”, he begs us to stay back and not hurt him. This is probably the most clear cut display of the effects of purgatory being that he’s seemingly just more scared of us and in a lot of pain. Kallamar I find to be interesting because I’m getting the impression that while other siblings MAY be coaxed to deviate from the norm (maybe not Shamura as they seem pretty ok with this), Kallamar seems the most likely. I can see Kallamar trying to escape the lamb rather than confront them, while others may do this for Kal it feels very likely he not only has done this, but has done it a lot, never succeeding and resolving to just beg for mercy. While Leshy isn’t directly talking to the player Kal says “red crown” meaning there’s no greater force or anything he’s begging to, he’s ONLY begging to us.

Shamura’s dialogue here is very interesting. It feels like they are very resolved to their fate of repeating this eternally and not only don’t care to escape it, but see this fate as a deserved punishment. For Narinder, crimes as a bishop, the lamb genocide, or all of the above we can’t quite say, I’d say probably a mix of all. Regardless, Shamura seems to be in a state of acceptance of this being the rest of their eternity. Their dialoge also implies a Sisyphus situation of “drawing semblance of life” from routine in a known situation where everything is the same. I’m not sure I’d say they are CONTENT like this, but they’re definitely accepting and the fact they seem to think they deserve eternal purgatory hell seems to definitely be part of this.

I feel like all 4 reactions are interesting thematically. Leshy’s feelings of defeat, Heket’s struggle for control, Kallamar’s utter terror and desperation, and Shamura’s passive acceptance.

However I don’t see a lot of people talking about this in fact a lot of fics seem to say the bishops don’t even remember purgatory which is interesting in itself but personally I’d definitely touch on the fact they each had their own individual somewhat breakdowns of their character, and the affect this would have on their minds going forward, especially on their views of themselves, the lamb who was somewhat the vessel for their torture and their behaviour in general. Would they gain new responses? Would certain things like specific weapons trigger memories of their time in purgatory? Would they dream about it?

Just so much cool fuckin shit to explore! I might sometime if any of my DSaF followers stuck it out for this you KNOW I love angst.

Xiao

(p.s I got super out of prompt 😭)

Xiao is a stalker yandere. A lot of people said they don’t even see Xiao at all, even though you see him quite frequently. You barely know him, most of the time you pass by each other and give some simple greetings. But he would time his work right and arrive just at your window when you come home, he watches your step by step, he knows exactly what you do to your itty bitty habits like always making extra food and finishing it the next day, randomly cutting your hair or not drinking clearly enough water. You drop your bags down tiredly, he peered through your window and see you just doing things like everyday, cutting the meat and vegetables but you look way more agitated today?? Anyways, you cook your meal like always, plate it messily and left it on the table..? You didn’t even touch the spoon, mixing around or play with your food. You just left it there, right at where he can see it clearly. Xiao was very confused, did he get caught? But why would that stop you from eating? He snapped back by you glaring straight at him, then acting like nothing happened and just walking back in to your room. You didn’t notice him right?

Aether

He’s the oblivious type but wouldn’t accept it. Aether sees you all the time, somehow knows all your hobbies and would bring it up in a random way.

“Would you like a candy?” You brought out a bag of candies that you bought yesterday.

“I thought you didn’t like this flavor?”

“…How did you know?” The flavor you liked had ran out in the store yesterday, you settled for another flavor but didn’t really like it.

“…”

“Aether?”

“Yeah I’ll have one.”

He knows your favorite food. Aether knows when you crave for a certain dish, so he’s confused when you instead just order a drink and leave. You even just leisurely sipping on your drink, instead of finishing it immediately and getting to work. He walks behind you and catches up, striking a conversation but you replied with casual one word replies, he offered you some snacks you liked but you didn’t accept, you would have already eaten all of the food he brought by now but you aren’t even looking at the food. Days went by and the exact same thing happened, to the point that you lost so much weight and seemed so tired. Aether had to find another option to get you to eat again. Locking you up, force feeding, making you eat while you are unconscious

Venti

He’s super obvious, he even says it from time to time. If you call a mountain annoying he would probably cut it off for you and still be ( ^ω^ ) while saying “you said it was annoying!” He’s super clingy, every time he sees you which is planned he will cling on to you until you literally have to tell him to get off. Venti doesn’t know a lot about your habits since you do keep it a secret quite well, but he does know what you dislike very well, the moment you say you hate something it’s gone. As he’s clinging on to you again, you seemed very annoyed,

“Is something wrong?”

“Fucking hell Venti, stop it! You can’t just destroy everything just because I don’t like it!”

“Why not? If you don’t like it, then it simply doesn’t deserve to be there! Anyways, let’s go eat something!” Venti looks at the restaurant you always go for when you need comfort food.

“I’m not eating anything until you stop.” You said with a sigh.

“What?” He stops smiling immediately

“You heard me.”

He starts making a fuss, yelling and screaming about if you don’t eat he’s gonna make you eat, clinging on to you even harder to the point that your arm starts to feel numb. Each day goes by that you don’t eat, Mondstadt is suffering with wind and crops dying, Venti clings on you even harder and gets desperate for you to eat, he promises that he’ll do anything for you.

Diluc

Now he’s the Yandere people think of, locking up his lover and killing people just to please them. He keeps it really well hidden though, everyone just assumes that you two are just a couple that fights a lot like any other couple. He gets you the finest of the finest products you want, but you have to always be where he can see and never run off. He definitely has killed people before because they looked at you wrongly. You slumped down to your seat and lay your head on the counter, to which Diluc didn’t steal a look since you were always tired. He put a plate of the meal you asked for yesterday, but you didn’t want it. He got confused, then frustrated, then mad.

“What’s with you today?”

“What’s wrong with you?” You rebutted to which he seemed even more mad.

“I give you the best of the best and you act like this?!”

“I don’t want you to give me these fancy shenanigans. And definitely not to kill someone.”

“So this is what you’re fussing about?”

“Obviously??”

“Then fine! Don’t eat all you want and see how long you can take it!”

Diluc didn’t expect you to actually not eat for that long, it’s been a week and your health is severely disclining. He now has to lock you up, force you to eat himself, how annoying of you.

I honestly thought this was going to take me a few more days to complete, but it feels pretty complete now and I've gotta send it in before I have time to overthink it. This ended up moreso about the aftermath of Beck and Perri finding out about the fog and that MC was keeping it secret. There’s a lot of guessing about their reactions, so I may have gotten some things wrong. I had fun with it though, so I hope you enjoy it too.

So we know Perri is an anxious bean with self esteem issues. Even in the midst of feeling betrayed by MC, they may blame themself for MC’s secret-keeping. They weren’t trustworthy enough, supportive enough, good enough. Self-criticism mixing in with their pain (and likely anger!), making it even more difficult to face MC. But! They’re willing to talk things out when relationships hit a rough patch. Not comfortable about it, not happy about it, but willing. I feel like they could be the first to forgive MC. At the very least, they will be much easier to talk to about the whole dang thing. Eventually. But god, the work won’t be easy. To truly repair things, they’re going to have to be honest about the ways MC hurt them. Can they bring themself to expose their vulnerable emotions? The hurt? The anger? The betrayal? And oh, I am so certain Perri has to feel at least some anger about this situation. They may not act on it, but I’m sure they feel it. There's going to be a lot to work through before moving toward a solution.

But what about Beck? Beck, who avoids problems in a relationship rather than trying to fix them? Beck, who is so allergic to commitment that they balk at the first sign of it?

Ough, it will be so rough. Beck doesn’t want to talk about it, doesn’t want to acknowledge it, and doesn’t want to see MC, at least for a while. Because if I’m convinced Perri must be at least a little mad, then Beck must be pissed off. With everything about the situation being so bad, they just want to feel good. Recklessness dialed up to 11. But would they try to avoid MC forever? Or would they be afraid of losing that relationship? Would they rather pretend? Sometimes it’s easier to pretend. Pretend they can trust MC, that this situation has not fundamentally altered something about their relationship. That everything is ok. Pretending until pretending doesn’t work anymore. Until it all breaks.

In the end, the pieces can be put back together, but it will take effort and it will never be the same again. I’m willing to put in the work. Are you? Or is it easier to walk away and never look back?

Getting Beck to talk about it, to try to fix it, is going to be like pulling teeth. They don’t want to talk, they don’t want to listen, they just want things to go back to how they were before. But that’s not how life works. Beck’s cooperation and forgiveness is going to be so much harder to achieve (but will ultimately be worth it).

And I definitely feel like this will have to be addressed separately before it’s addressed as a team. I feel like if MC and Perri come to Beck trying to get them to talk about everything, they’re going to feel cornered and bolt and become even less likely to work things out. Oh, the struggle.

(And then there’s me, crying in the corner for a week because I obviously Ruined Everything Forever and they clearly Hate My Guts before I finally get over all the reactive emotions and start working towards actually fixing things and communicating. If Beck is avoidant, and Perri is avoidant, and I have a tendency to be avoidant…well, someone’s gotta pony up and drive this relationship. I’m such an optimist though, so I would truly believe things can work out unless proven otherwise.)

It will be hard, it will be messy, but it will also be beautiful. Beck and Perri learning that fixing a problem in a relationship you cherish can be painful and scary and so so so worth it <3 We’ll come out the other side changed, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Something something love is transformative…

Ooh, I can’t wait to navigate all of the emotional complexities of this relationship. Seeing these characters at their lowest, at their rawest, and loving them anyway (and them feeling the same way toward MC in return) askljslhgsajk. Working hard together to fix the relationship, maybe even make it better and stronger than it was before. Ehehehe <3

(I wanted to incorporate Beck’s insecurity about their relationship with MC into this, but I couldn’t figure out where to fit it so I gave up on that angle. For now. Everytime I think about Beck’s insecurity it does unspeakable things to my brain, especially in tandem with Willow’s dislike of them, and especially especially in terms of Beck/Perri polyroute. Also, dating both Willow’s third least favorite and second favorite ROs at once?? Magnificent. So looking forward to Willow’s reaction to my life choices. And Perri? I already love them unconditionally. Always have. They deserve it <3)

I love love love reading your thoughts. I think your characterization of them both is so spot-on; you really have a handle on who they are and how they'll react.

These two and Yasmin...man the reveal is going to be good. Especially because, depending on the circumstances, there might not be time to process and fix things. Not right away. The story is going to hit a point where the Plot starts running and it doesn't stop.

I love tension between characters that doesn't get the chance to be resolved. Not right away. Gotta focus on the now, on the horrors, no time to fix this festering wound in your relationship that has blossomed between you...

God. I'm so excited.

Plus there's another layer of complexity to all of this that is going to...complicate things. I can't talk about it but I think about every day.

The Willow stuff...god. Like you're saying: navigating a new relationship/relationships with your pesky little sibling there is going to be so. Man. I'm so excited to write it. I cannot wait for y'all to meet Willow in the flesh this is all going to be so much fun.

I'm all hyped up to write the final scene of this chapter now. Beck and Perri and MC interacting is such a delight to write and that scene is going to be delicious.

Revealing a secret

From the very first day, Sherlock has texted rapidly on John’s or his own phone. He rarely calls. He borrows John’s laptop frequently, but only that first time, did he use John’s phone. More often than not, John wonders who’s the receivers of those texts. There’s Lestrade and Mycroft, obviously, but those texts John can deduce. Texts to or from the latter, makes Sherlock huff, sigh, roll his eyes, scowl, growl and curse.

“Oh, for God’s sake!” mostly.

Sherlock’s a virgin when it comes to cursing compared to John.

Sighs, huffs and eyerolls also occur when texts with Lestrade are exchanged, but John’s learned to tell them apart. There’s a certain glint in Sherlock’s eyes, excitement mixed with annoyance, when Lestrade’s the one he’s communicating with.

There’s also Molly, but those texts are easy. Sherlock either beams inappropriately with the thought of receiving body parts from her, or sulks for hours when she refuses his requests.

He never texts Mrs. Hudson.

He always texts John, unless he’s engrossed in a case, which John often is a part of, and there’s no reason for texting when John’s right there, though it has happened. Once. When Sherlock wasn’t aware, or had forgotten, that John stood right behind him. That time, John had been quite stern, loud, and made good use of his curse vocabulary. Sherlock had even apologised.

John supposes Sherlock texts his homeless network from time to time, but that’s about it really. So, how come he texts at any given hour? There’s no need asking the genius. John’s tried. Numerous times. If he gets a reaction at all, it’s often a shrug, a non-committal sound or an eyeroll. When he’s generous, John gets a vocal response.

“No one. No one of importance. I’m busy, John. Shut up. Hm? You were saying?”

No help at all, and John’s curiosity is famous. He’s determined to get to the bottom of this.

After weeks of appraisal, evaluation, and studying Sherlock’s texting habits, John’s befuddled and dumbfounded. Sherlock isn’t texting all the time as John assumed. He’s writing on the note app or sending emails to himself. It was no easy task to deduce those things. Sneaking up on Sherlock and looking over his shoulder while texting was futile. He seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to John. Always aware of his presence. Well, at least while using his phone. So, John’s perfected a side glance manoeuvre, and spotted the mail and note symbols. 

John concluded that Sherlock’s hiding this texting business from John, which makes no sense at all. Sherlock doesn’t do secrets normally. Unless it’s for a case, or he finds it crucial that John’s left out of the loop for some reason. But he always tells John everything in the end, so it has to be something else.

When John thinks back on his days of dating, something occurs to him. Every time John was going on a date, he always said his goodbye’s to Sherlock, and as sure at the sun rises, Sherlock texted furiously at his phone when John emerged from his room dressed for a night out. The same thing happened when John returned from said date. Even if he stayed the night, Sherlock was always present when he arrived home. With just a glance at John, Sherlock started to tap at his phone.

John’s abandoned dating after he realised that no one could ever come close to Sherlock in comparison to his many dates. Being a bisexual isn’t something John’s flagged, but he’s not embarrassed about it. It’s just personal. And besides, John’s always been attracted to people. What gender they are, has never mattered to him. It’ s the person, their personality, the chemistry that counts to John. So, when he finally admitted to himself, that Sherlock was the love of his life, he stopped dating. Sherlock noticed obviously, but for some reason never commented on it. So, John’s conclusion is as follows. Sherlock keeps a diary of sorts, and the sole topic is him, John Hamish Watson. It must be.

“What’s all this for?” Sherlock asks when he returns home from Bart’s.

John had texted Sherlock earlier, asking what he wanted for dinner.

Lasagne or the pea thing?

Sherlock had clearly been occupied and engrossed, if his response was any indicator.

And now, the kitchen table is filled with lasagne, focaccia, a caprese salad and bottles of red wine. John has a secret to reveal and his plan’s working. He’s managed to surprise Sherlock already, and there’s more to come.

“Nothing in particular. Just felt the urge to cook. It’s been a while, and you seem to enjoy my cooking. Occasionally,” John states.

Sherlock narrows his eyes. Deducing. He doesn’t comment, but seats himself, and John pours wine and gestures for Sherlock to serve himself. They eat in their normal companionable silence, which John sporadically breaks by asking about Sherlock’s visit to Bart’s. Sherlock gestures with his fork and explains about an interesting brain Molly’s let him examine. John loves this version of Sherlock. All excited and knowing that his audience appreciates his conclusions. His rich baritone weaves its way down John’s spine like a velvet fabric. He can feel his cheeks flush.

When they’ve cleared the table, they seat themselves in their chairs, already halfway down the second bottle of wine. John feels lightheaded and a bit tipsy, and Sherlock’s no better. The way he sprawls in his chair, reminds John of a big, lazy cat.

God, he’s gorgeous!

Determined, John jumps right in before the doubt hits him.

“So, I think I’ve deduced something about you,” he says, looking intently at Sherlock.

“Have you now?” Sherlock drawls, his voice low and a bit hoarse.

That voice does things to John’s body, which he must suppress. At least for the moment. He clears his throat.

“I think so, yes. Do you remember all the times I’ve asked you about your texting?” John inquires.

“Yes,” Sherlock answers, his body suddenly tense.

Took him by surprise there!

“Well, I’ve given it a lot of thought, and lots and lots and lots of investigating,” John says with emphasis.

Sherlock sits stiff as a rod in his chair now, blinking rapidly.

“John, please don’t. I…um…”

This is not what John had planned. He didn’t want to make Sherlock uncomfortable. He slides out of his chair and crouches down beside Sherlock’s chair, leaning a hand on his knee.

“Sherlock, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you,” John says quietly, squeezing Sherlock’s knee.

Sherlock doesn’t answer. He’s closed his eyes and his lips is just a thin, straight line. 

“I’m flattered, you know,” John continues, stroking Sherlock’s arm now. “I never thought you felt…um…that I mean that much…”

Sherlock opens his eyes and grabs John’s hand desperately.

“Don’t play with me, John!” he warns, tightening his grip on John’s hand.

“I would never do that, Sherlock. Playing with people’s feelings is not a thing I approve of.”

When he sees the look in Sherlock’s eyes, John decides to act, and prays that he’s not reading the signs wrong. He rises, climbs into Sherlock’s chair, straddles his thighs, cradles his face and kisses him softly. A moan escapes Sherlock before he moves his arms and closes them behind John’s waist. They kiss and kiss until their lips are swollen from the pressure. Sherlock looks totally debauched, a sight John never thought he would be so lucky to see.

“We’re two idiots, aren’t we?” John says, smiling down at Sherlock.

“Mm,” Sherlock agrees. “Surprises aren’t really my area, but I find that I’m quite fond of this one.”

In this case, the opinion book has been popular for some lowkey announcement and a way to manage the fans.

The related information regarding rumors being spread online and the apology letter had been confirmed with Studio immediately, the related information on the artist are all made up and totally false. The related information in the apology letter appearing today, we have also communicated with Studio and clarified, Studio had always been using reasonable and lawful methods to protect his rights. But we have currently confirmed with lawyers that this person was not contacted, the content described by this person is contradictory, with purposes unknown. Hence we hope that everyone do not join the discussion of this, treat this carefully, so as not be exploited. All malicious rumors will undergo professional assessment before carrying out reasonable. protection of rights, we hope for everyone to await good news quietly.

The apology letter that was posted is someone taking back their words about what they posted last 3.27 about XZ’s alleged romantic relationship. They are saying it’s false. Letters like this are usual, it’s one condition asked for when c-ent stars are suing accounts for slander.

The info this person posted was about XZ & 🍆. saying that they are in a relationship blah blah blah, all kinds of stuff ( i’m not gonna post it anymore cause it’s anti material ) . Notice that the studio refuted that too = are all made up and totally false. So there’s that. I mean, this is nothing new. Everyone knows that he is not dating 🍆. They are colleagues/friends. That’s it.

What irritates me is how turtles ( particularly on weibo ) are celebrating this because it seems like XZ & his team is quick to clarify dating rumors. and most especially this one cause for some reason, people are unreasonably threatened when XZ interacted with 🍆 onstage @ Weibo night. Going as far as to insinuate that GG is rude and at certain times was only being nice for the cameras. I mean, that’s the same thing that antis say about him! You know that right? and it’s the exact same bullshit that i hate when solos apply it to him and WYB. When they say “the two are not even friends and that GG was doing it for the CQL promo”. Even if you have solid evidence from hundreds of videos that they are friends. At the very least, they are friends. and I hope we do the same courtesy to XZ’s friends and female co-stars. He is an actor. They are both actors. They will be paired with lots and lots of female celebrities. It’s part of the job. XZ & WYB’s relationship is not commercial, it’s real. So don’t apply those rules to them.

I also wish turtles to be more kind to XZ. I don’t understand why there seems to be a double standard when it comes to him. The general reaction from that interaction in 3/25 is so horrible towards XZ — like it’s his fault cause he won’t stand next to WYB. How WYB is a poor lovesick fool looking at XZ who was ignoring him. I wonder if people really understand how delicate their careers are and how careful they always have to be. Especially Xiao Zhan. So maybe we can be more considerate towards XZ? Be more understanding.

Trust him. He always delivers. He always does. We’ve seen it many times so it’s unfair to shift the blame on XZ and make it seem like he holds all the cards. I don’t know what he was to do to please certain people and i don’t want him to feel frustrated that he will just stop dropping candies altogether. It feels like most turtles are so critical of him and his relationships. He needs people on his side. They both do. They can’t live in a small bubble of just the two of them. Of course they have to be careful with who they surround themselves with — but that’s their judgement and not ours.

Anyway, that’s enough rant for today. I just needed to say it. XZ deserves all the love. ♥️ seeing him happy in his vlog today made me want to defend him from what i’ve been seeing lately, so. yeah.

My thoughts on Loki - Season 2, Ep. 1

If the only Loki I’m going to get is Loki in the TVA, then this has to be the best way to do it.

--- Obviously there are going to be spoilers below. ---

He’s close enough to acting in character in the episode that I can make that mental leap and more or less ignore the bits that were a little off. (And by in character I mean a mix of what we saw in the early phases, and how I imagine he would react in such a situation.  Maybe he’s a little more panicked and open with Mobius than earlier Loki might have been, but I can put that down to him feeling like he can trust Mobius and that he doesn’t have to put up a front with him, and also feeling completely out of his depth (and in pain!) having just come from the end of time and immediately having to face this time slipping thing.)

And that is already more than I’d been steeling myself for in this season!  So yay!

Having said that, at this point I’m going to take this as an anomaly, because we haven’t yet seen him interacting with anyone at anything less than 100%, and it’s the downtime where he slips into cringe territory for me in season 1.  And we haven’t seen him really interacting with Sylvie again yet.  So I’m going to reserve my judgement until we get to see what happens after this immediate crisis has been averted.

Also, I am absolutely here for desperate!Loki trying to make people believe him. *chef’s kiss*

This episode had the drive and tension and mystery that I love in the best fics and films.  In a way Season 1 was the set up that allowed us to go straight to the best bits, so I guess I have to give it that at least. 😉

I loved that the reason that Mobius didn’t know Loki in the scene at the end of Season 1 was that it was an earlier version of the TVA!  That was brilliant!  I completely didn’t think about that as an option, and I love how it opens up all sort of nasty(ier!) possibilities about the past of the TVA. I’m keen to see where that goes. The way it was revealed through the cracked floor and how that highlighted that Mobius and Casey really should remember Loki was great.  And I love how it ties back to the question Loki ask Mobius in the first season “how long have you been here?”.

One thing I found interesting is that so much of the promo footage was taken from this first episode.  So I feel a little less certain about what the rest of the season is bringing now.  That of course is assuming that Loki’s time slipping problem was actually resolved as it appears to be. I know there were other shots in the promo scenes with the spaghettification happening, so I’m not 100% convinced that Loki is entirely safe. And if he is, it sure seems like someone else isn’t!

But then again I’m assuming OB is here partly as a way to get around the rules set down in season 1 about how the TVA works.  And the disintegration of the timeline could also mean things that weren’t possible before become possible now.  So perhaps even if Loki’s problem is fixed they’re able to create something that allows them to travel in time with in the TVA.  Lol I really should know how fruitless it is to speculate on what they’ll do, but I can’t help it!  XD

I also like the way the music, the slightly distorted images, and the slow motion contributed to the feeling of everything being off.  I definitely like the tone of this episode better than Season 1, and I hope they continue in this vein.  Even the bit where they could have played up his incompetence for laughs – when Loki struggles out of the back of the car in front of everyone – I felt was toned down, and while an amusing reaction, not particularly degrading or brainless. In fact I didn’t feel I needed to look away to avoid the second hand embarrassment at any point during the episode lol.

I actually found myself more engaged than I expected.  I had wondered if I’d only be mildly interested, but no. There were a couple of moments where I was on the edge of my seat, so I consider that a win.  I mean I understand that interested and not too cringey isn’t exactly a high bar, but it’s not one I was sure would be met.

So yeah, I’m about as happy as I can be about how this season is starting off, and I’m looking forward to seeing next week’s episode.   And all your thoughts too!

read what you want to write. obviously you have to choose HOW you want to write first. in my case i wanted my writing to be similar to poetry since i love poems. there are diff types of poetry but prose poetry is my favorite so i decided on making my works based on that. once you’ve decided how you wanna write, read as many works as you can that basically embody that.

make it your own : if you’re using another author’s work as inspiration you might end up developing a writing style that’s pretty much identical to theirs. it’s harder to notice in writing so i’ll use art as an example: have you ever seen someone’s art and thought it was by a particular artist, only to find out it was someone else who drew it ? if your work looks like something the author you’re getting inspo from could’ve written, you’re doing it wrong 🙏 if you’re using pinterest or tumblr as inspo sources chances are your inspiration is a small or unpublished writer so you really don’t want your work sounding similar to theirs. making your work a little more unique by mixing inspo from different sources is a great help.

to add more on the last point, try making your own signature phrases !! for example, ppl have told me they know a work is mine once they see phrases like ‘blood drenched cheeks’ (as opposed to blushing or flushed cheeks) ‘blood crept up his throat’ (to show nervousness) etc etc. you can see these exact phrases in almost EVERY fic i’ve ever written. idk about them being entirely unique but if people are associating certain phrases with you, you are definitely on the right path to making a writing style that’s uniquely yours 💯 another thing i do is i use slashes in place of dashes, commas, semicolons etc and ‘&’ instead of ‘and’. it’s used in poetry sometimes but pretty uncommon in fic writing. my use of these symbols in writing has also been pointed out on here so i know i’m doing it right 🙏

decide how you want your works to SOUND. what vibe do you want your writing to give ? i like to write with the intention of making my fics sound ‘melancholically romantic’. i’d say my bakugo fic, kinich drabble and old kaji oneshot are works of mine that do well to capture this vibe. i like my works to have a somewhat ‘gloomy’ air as opposed to bright and happy, and i make the romance on a more steamy side, not innocent and cute at all. decide what tone or vibe you want your work to give off and use language and setting accordingly !!

PROOFREAD. this is really basic advice but i NEED to spell it out because gosh, the amount of fics i see that say ‘not proofread’ on the daily ?? anytime i see that in the authors note i scroll immediately. if you couldn’t put effort into making your fic readable, why would i give it a read ? please anon, use grammarly if you have to. i personally don’t use it because i write things ‘grammatically incorrectly’ for the sake of sounding poetic sometimes so having grammarly trying to correct what is perfectly fine in my eyes can get annoying. that said i reread my fics like ten times before i post, and i reread it at different times as well, not just reading it over and over again in one sitting. having stuff like spelling errors in my fics is just so embarassing to me, i prefer to avoid that at all costs 🙏

lastly, WRITE WHAT YOU LIKE. tumblr sucks when it comes to giving feedback. it makes me miss wattpad where everyone spammed comments but hey what can you do ? don’t let lack of engagement discourage you from writing the way YOU want to. i’ve written fics in really thick prose and some of those don’t get as many reactions, but does it make me consider changing my writing style ? NO. everything i post on here is first for myself before anyone else. it should be the same way for you too nonnie. the moment you become focused on writing what will get you the most likes and reblogs rather than what you actually want to, you become a content creator, not a writer. write as you like and own it ‼️

2!Postal Dude Headcanons <3

Summary:

With this version of 2!Postal Dude consists of a mix of my own projections, random stuff I thought of whenever bored, and just how I generally see him. Based on my first run with him, and a mix of the wiki. Anyone that wants to add these to their own lists feel free! :D

General:

Goofy as hell. Still just as insane as the others, but takes it all less seriously.

Either has a list or small journal he carries on him all the time just filled with one-liners, also carries a pen so he can write down any new ones he thinks of.

Fucking dumbass.

Not the smartest guy around, but also not the dumbest. Decent knowledge with some things.

Sometimes pretends to be a full on moron just to annoy the person, or piss them off depending on if it's someone he likes or hates.

Knowledgeable in some subjects, but only if it’s something he has a genuine interest in.

Random hyperfixation on things. Tries to keep himself focused on one or two things at a time and tries to balance everything out, but always fails.

Favorite aesthetics consist of cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, feralcore, bastardcore, and post-punk.

Feral bastard.

Bites people. Started out as a joke but was slowly integrated into his life.

Humor’s all over the damn place. Mix of whatever he can find on Tumblr and shows like South Park and Beavis and Butthead.

Has a Tumblr and Twitter account. Both just so he can watch everything unfold and doesn’t bother to post anything.

Following list for Twitter mostly consists of gimmick accounts, some of it wholesome, and others being shit he just decided was funny.

Personality built around others' perception of him, whether people he actually knows or just those on the internet. 

Personality changes often, but keeps certain aspects for each one.

Bit of a people pleaser.

Mood is always randomized for each day. One day he could be the most calm and patient man in Paradise, and the next he could go on a massacre.

Mood really depends on his morning. Slight inconveniences do have the potential to fuck it all up if there was a major one before, but not on their own.

Very patient with people when younger, but that patience has slowly degraded over the years.

Would never snap at anyone when younger, maybe a few passive aggressive comments.

But now with the degraded patience, much more prone to snapping at people.

Animal lover. Always making sure Champ gets pets and food before he goes off to do his errands and will do his best to take care of strays.

After the beginning cutscene near the start of the game with him kicking Champ for pissing in front of him felt a fuck ton of guilt for the rest of the day. After he got home made sure to do his best to make it up to Champ through whatever means necessary.

Type of video games that he plays is a healthy mix of horror such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil, indie games like Cult of the Lamb and Hollow Knight, and of course shooter games like DOOM and the Call of Duty series.

For Cult of the Lamb he definitely named the cult after himself. Once tried to mod the game himself to add in or replace the decorations to better fit himself but that never ended up happening.

Just about grew up with horror. During highschool he had a fake ID so he could see the Rated R movies without having to bring an adult with him, or would just sneak in (and get caught).

Holds the DOOM series close to his crack-filled heart, with his favorite being the 1993 DOOM as a mix of nostalgia and everything that could be done. Always discovering new secrets on every playthrough.

Probably plays Call of Duty a bit less than the others, and mostly consists of him playing online and just insulting everyone since it’s fun to see their reactions. Barely pays attention to any of the campaigns.

Age being 27 during the events of Postal 2 (no clue if he has a canon age so for the time being I’m sticking to that).

Music:

Mostly metal and rock.

Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Rob Zombie, Dope, Limp Bizkit, Skillet, Seether, Slayer, etc.

Favorite songs with them consisting of: “Y’all Want a Single?” by Korn, “Rollin (Air Raid Vehicle” by Limp Bizkit, and “6 Gun Quota” by Seether.

Also has a few other songs in there that seem much out of place, either because he thought it’d be funny or just from him genuinely enjoying them.

Few examples being the “Bisexual Anthem” by Domo Wilson, “Material Girl” by Saucy Santana, “Masquerade” by siouxxie sixxta, ect.

Sings in the shower, most of the time keeps it quiet but will sing loudly as hell just to drive people crazy.

Cannot be trusted with the aux cord.

God help you if you’re on a road trip and he gets a hold of the cord.

OK so heads up I’m using a dictation service for this lately I’ve been doing a lot of stuff with voice work and typing is just a bit too tedious because a lot of my work involves typing as well so when I’m not directly working (although I will say that like my online presence is work since I work for myself) I don’t want to type lol

Anyway if you didn’t know on my other account @iamthatwhich I talk about spiritual stuff, intentional living stuff, etc. and over on the Instagram of the same name last year or the year before that I had done a series on polyamory versus non-monogamy Specifically because a lot of people were promoting polyamory as if it was a one size fits all superior by default option and that monogamy was inherently evil which is not true. Luckily by now the conversation has started to shift, I have noticed that one of my gifts being an overlap of sight and speech, Is that I tend to be able to see and name a problem before most other people do so I am one of the people who starts conversations or is at the forefront or creating wave of discourse

(Remember when I was bitching about the anti-indigeneity of veganism 4-5 years ahead of mainstream discourse…? Yeah.)

ANYWAY This is such a ramble because all I wanted to say is that check out that account if you would like to follow the things that I talk about- It’s going to be mixed in with other more overtly spiritual stuff but if you like philosophy or that kind of discourse I would say to check it out because the next thing that I want to tackle is talking about courtship versus dating.

One of the things that stands out to me so much right now about main stream/allistic relationship talk is that people HATE dating. And It’s weird because a lot of people don’t seem to know that they hate it, which I see a lot with allistic people because a list of people just do what they’ve always done or what they think is normal and are not quite as sensitive to their own reactions to things.

The thing about dating culture in the west or the US or whatever is that it’s actually really really recent we used to court and I think that as we normalized dating, dating and courtship began to mean the same thing which they absolutely do not.

Anyways so I’m gonna be doing a talk about why dating is a normal culture here and how we’ve exported this to other countries, how this is an extension of assimilation, and what are the basic foundations of court ship.

I know that in our current culture we are really very much into everything that’s progressive and anything that seems to have more boundaries or more expectations or more rules, we hate it. However I feel that it’s also true that sometimes as a culture especially as younger generations we want to throw the baby out with the bathwater and we lose the plot. Additionally for many of us having an option away from the things that are deemed normal or liberated in this culture because they are not always necessarily liberating, is actually a means of cultural reclamation.

I also think that it’s really really important that as many people as possible way in on discussions like this because unfortunately we live in a largely binary world where everyone who is more progressive more liberated, we lean a certain way and don’t want to overlap at all in other directions, and then everything else is left to religious fundamentalists. Like I said before the problem that I have with that is that Christianity does not own courtship. And in the current day and age I don’t think they should be the only people talking about it or weighing in on it.

Honestly I feel like there’s another binary where like we’ve done well to be more understanding and open with people who are aro ace, But I wonder how excepting we can be of people who are making certain decisions rather than having an inherent sexual identity.

Because every single day I see more and more people especially women which is an important factor, talking about how they hate dating, how dating exposes them to people that they wish they were not exposed to just in order to find a partner, how it just feeds them more and more disappointing memories, and how they feel like they’re wasting their time. I see more and more people of all sexes complaining about how they can’t find somebody who is willing to commit, complain about people who are pretty casual in their approach, and part of that problem is that dating can mean many things, but courting does not.

And I know that I’m rambling here but my point is one of the biggest problems is that I would say about 20% of the people who date genuinely want to date, a.k.a. have a casual open ended experiences with people. Another 15 or 20% of those people don’t want any partnership at all and maybe don’t even want to date I feel pressured to do so and are probably aromantic. And most of the rest of them, Whether they fully realize this or not are only looking for committed partners and only want to meet with people who are looking for the same but they’re wasting a lot of their time and energy running into people who do not meet that same mindset.

And the best thing for those people to do is stop putting themselves in positions well where they will meet people who don’t want the same thing as them. Which is why they need to be courting, not dating.

Adrial: 😭 CRYING - what makes them cry? do they cry easily? Oh, Adrial cries sometimes, indeed. It’s not a very regular occurrence, but it happens. In some cases, it kind of surprised/surprises him. To find out that he’s capable of such strong emotions …, that’s intriguing. And painful. Should he truly allow himself to be moved like this by someone’s fate? Or by his own fears/worries/hopes? It is … like something would try to break out of his chest, flood his veins. Those feelings are fascinating but terrible. And the pictures flashing through his mind without invitation, mixing with the emotions they cause … He is not sure he likes it. No, he doesn’t, not at all. Things that lead to him crying, well, strong fear can lead there, the overwhelming, all-consuming kind, and desperation when he finds himself in a hopeless situation. That he is able to show compassion becomes noticeable when art moves him to tears, a stage play, a well-written story, or even a special painting may cause this reaction in certain cases and in the right mood. It’s not easy to get close to him, he keeps people at distance (and often is kept at a distance by them as an answer to his behavior) but if he actually cares for someone, their pain and struggles and suffering definitely would have the potential to make him cry. 🙈 SEE-NO-EVIL - whats a side of your oc that they don't want to show other people? I’m afraid I can’t answer this fully because parts of the answer to this question are too strongly connected to something still secret about him. 😁 Only that much: There is a side of him he doesn’t want to show, absolutely. And maybe, in leaving a part out, I’m able to add that he hates being seen when he’s truly afraid and weak. He doesn’t want to offer an opportunity to overpower him. To show vulnerability terrifies him deeply. 🔥 FIRE - do they have any self destructive tendencies? what habits do they have that hinder them from becoming their best self? Adrial would say no. He cherishes life and his existence a lot and wants to enjoy it as long as possible and not shorten it by self-destructive behavior. Now the thing is, he doesn’t only want to enjoy it as long as possible, but also as intensely as possible. He cherishes delicious food, high-quality wines and liquors, and everything interesting and exciting, drinks a lot, tries dangerous magic, is captivated by the occult, and does drugs. His whole lifestyle has destructive tendencies but not out of indifference or the urge to harm himself or bitterness, quite the contrary: He’s greedy for life and experiences. Furthermore, Adrial often acts extremely arrogant, mocking, cold, and condescending. He has the habit to distance himself from people, even though a part of him yearns for true connection. Those are the main habits hindering him from becoming his best self. It will forever rub me the wrong way how Moth Flight implemented the "Medicine cats shall not take a mate nor have kits" rule into the Medicine Cat code. Especially given that her specific set of circumstances was both tragic and unique.

Moth Flight was young when she took Micah as a mate. When he died, she was left to raise their four kits alone while juggling the duties of a medicine cat. Not to mention that this was during a time where knowledge about herbs was scant and where apprentices weren't really a thing. Not yet.

Although in the end, Moth Flight became overwhelmed and made the decision to give up Spider Paw, Bubbling Stream, Honey Pelt, and Blue Whisker, her experiences being a young mother should not have meant that no medicine cat after her should have been robbed of the opportunity to raise a family while healing their Clanmates.

When it comes to cats like Yellowfang and Leafpool, who had cats in their lives who would've helped care for their children, or cats like Alderheart, Jayfeather, and Spottedleaf, who seemed responsible enough to be able to balance love and duty, is this really a fair thing to impose onto medicine cats?

Should wanting to heal your Clanmates and commune with StarClan strip you of your right to find love and raise a family?

I think a better situation that would've called for the implementation of this restriction into the medicine cat code is if a medicine cat chose their mate and/or children over their Clanmate, resulting in said Clanmate's death. A death that would've been prevented had the medicine cat remained impartial.

Adding on, Moth Flight did not have a nursery system nor an additional qualified medicine cat for support during this time. Nowadays the nursery system can either give you a permaqueen or the means for someone else to step in and help look after your kits whether it be another queen or if needs be an elder or a clanmate who has experience raising kits that wouldn’t mind, maybe a parent who isn’t running the clan like Wind and Gorse were?

Also it’s a weird rule because medicine cats do usually have siblings and parents to care about, why would one of those cause your judgement to be more clouded than children or a mate? I feel like I’m most cases a medicine cat wouldn’t look at their mum bleeding out and have the same emotional reaction as they would for most their clanmates. Jayfeather literally stops visiting the Moonpool for a while over Leafpool’s death and mixes up herbs which he never does, so you can’t try and pretend that only kits and mates have the potential to produce a significant emotional response in a cat if something were to happen to them Erins.

I feel like they should have kept it similar to the original religious celibacy thing they were going for rather than stretch out the explanation. Until Moth Flight’s Vision it just seemed a case of them wanting to dedicate as much as they could to StarClan and healing so they forfeit certain paths that other cats take for granted in order to leave as much time in their minds and souls for StarClan as possible. To me that does make more sense than hinging everything on the very first medicine cat’s exceptional and unfortunate experience.

Haru, when she looks at Gokudera, she is often feeling a big mix of different emotions depending on the day, the situation, etc. The majority of the time, she feels happy. She adores him, and feels lucky to be with him. I do believe that as they continue to progress through their relationship, she learns to allow him to spoil her and so she will come to associate seeing him with feeling cherished. There is awe in the sense that he’s quite big within the Vongola, being a guardian and the right hand no less, and he’s a genius- so there’s also that to marvel over. One of those full-hearted feelings because she loves him so much. When they’re apart, she does miss him, but then when she glances upon him, it’s one of those moments where it’s like “I missed you way more than I thought I did, wow look at him. I can’t believe he’s mine? Don’t now how I survived being away from him until now” kinda dramatic thoughts.

Now, if she found out he had bullied Lambo or something, then obviously looking at him elicits irritation and annoyance as a feeling. That said, she still looks at him and feels love for him and all that. None of that changes, but anger and annoyance definitely pushes the other things aside for a bit and takes center stage. Will say that some of this is the same if she notices that he’s feeling down- possibly from insecurities whether it be about his illegitimacy or what. Though, her anger isn’t directed at him but at whoever made him feel this way. Still, it is a feeling that comes from her looking at him seeming hurt- so it counts for the meme. Tack on sadness from seeing him looking upset. It’s a heartaching thing to see the love of your life hurting.

If he’s physically hurt? Then obviously fear and concern are the biggest presence of the feelings she’ll feel when looking at him. She may be a smidge angry because who did it? Who hurt him? She wants to have a word. (not that anyone would let her… HUFF!) Ultimately, she’s relieved that he’s by her side again and still very much alive.

So then… for kicks- she doesn’t really like to see him fighting because she’d be concerned, BUT if he’s defending her? Like scaring off some creep? That’s hot. She likes that. Wearing his glasses? NGL, I honestly half expected to get a joke response with this at first akin to something like "She feels happy, until he opens his mouth."

But joking aside, this is very on point for how we've plotted their ship out and their general interactions too. We agreed at the start we liked their bickering couple vibe and went with that and the rest kind of filled itself in with chemistry as we went along. It's kind of funny to see how it progressed so quickly because the chemistry was there and everything else was plotted on discord. There's a lot that he feels when he looks at her too, which we've talked about there's those thoughts of her making a good wife one day, of how annoying it was when they were younger and he had to watch her fawn over Tsuna, the guilt he felt too knowing it wasn't gonna happen because Tsuna was his best friend so he probably already heard him talking about Kyoko, which we discussed is more evident in the manga than anime and some of those moments where he did get angry with her, usually she was going on about how she'd marry Tsuna and that can be taken as him either being sick of her talking about it, or jealous that she wants his best friend, not him. Lol, yes his bullying of Lambo is one of the fastest ways to ignite her fuse and he's thankful it doesn't change her opinion on him, because there are some girls like that. I headcanon he probably had some of his fan girls approach and then at the first sign of his temper they fled. But Haru has proven to him she can take it, she doesn't like it but she's not going to run off crying just because he's in a pissy mood that night. Agreed. She's the one who has seen him come back injured like that, she was the one who nursed him back to health in many cases. She's the one who knows just how bad his injuries are even when he's in his "tis but a scratch" denial phase. And it shows in the way she cares for him that there's something there. Because she's not obligated to stick by him while he recovers but she always has.

And I will keep that in mind lol that certain looks can get her in the mood, but as you said, that's better for a Sinday meme. Thanks for sending this one!

ASK ME ANYTHING* (Ask Guidelines)

Since I started getting so many asks, I thought it might be handy to lay out some guidelines.

So, if you wanna send an ask, please do! But also please bear the following 7 points in mind:

• I Can’t Always Reply Straight Away

If you've sent me an ask and it seems like I've taken a while to get to it, there's probably a couple possible reasons for that:

Though I do try to answer most asks I get, I have a job and a social life and other hobbies beyond my music blog, which take up time in the day, so sometimes it will take me a while to get to a particular ask.

I also often receive several asks at a time, and I don't always have the energy to answer them all at once; it can sometimes feel a bit like I've got this guy constantly popping up in my inbox:

Plus, I try to space out answering asks anyway so that if people are scrolling through my blog they actually get to see the content I post and aren't just faced with a never-ending wall of Q&As. (With certain circumstantial exceptions, such as when we did 'guess my top ten bands')

It will especially take me a while to answer asks if they have some sort of link, or recommendation, or 'what's your opinion on [x song/x band], which will mean I have to find the time to actually check out the thing I'm being asked about — also see the 'Links' point further down.

It will also take me a while if I receive an ask about a topic that is complex, or that I have mixed opinions on, in which case I'll want to take some time to formulate a comprehensive response. Or even a topic that I don't have any opinions on and I might be unsure how to answer it without seeming blunt.

• Recommendations Are Great, But:

If you want to send me a recommendation that is absolutely a-ok, but do be prepared for the eventuality that I might not love it, I might have a subdued or meh reaction, I might even flat-out dislike it. I give my honest opinion of everything I’m sent, and sometimes it’s not gonna line up with your own, and that’s fine. This blog is for my music taste, which might not be exactly the same as yours

• It’s "Tomsmusictaste" For A Reason

Its no accident that I named my blog Tomsmusictaste. I am Tom, one singular person running this blog, which is specifically about my taste in music. Not everyoneelsesmusictaste, not popularpoppunkbandblog, at the end of the day it is made by me for me.

If you don’t like something I posted, or if you think I should be posting more of a certain artist, or if I left an artist you like off some sort of compilation post or list, well - not to be brusque, but tough shit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you like an artist that strongly, you are well within your rights to make your own side-blog and post about them. In fact I wholeheartedly encourage it! I mean that is pretty much what I did when I made this blog. Plus, there are so many de-activated/unactive pop-punk blogs on here, it’d be great if there were more of them out there. You have that power!

Also falling under this point is, y'know, I am always gonna be more responsive to asks about bands/artists that I actually do already post about, and I will probably have more interesting or things to say about them.

• Negativity & Discourse Won’t Be Answered

I have said time and again that that blog is for positivity, it is my hobby for celebrating the bands and music that I like, and it is not for discourse or negativity — so if I receive an ask that does seem loaded, or steeped in discourse, or is putting down a band/artist, I am far less likely to answer, and in fact probably won't. As I said in my WWWY Tier List video:

Questions Are Better Than Statements

It's better if you actually have a question - sometimes people will send me just sort of a statement, and it's harder to come up with a real response to that. Not saying you can't do that, but there is always the possibility you'll be hit with that McDonalds drive-through meme.

Screenshots Are Better Than Links

If you have, say, a funny tweet or similar that you wanna send to me, knock yourself out! But I will generally be waayy more responsive if you screenshot it and then put the screenshot in my ask box — that just saves everyone a bunch of hassle for clicking through links.

I have this box checked, y’know. It’s something that you can do. It’s, it’s allowed. Encouraged, even.

At the very least, put a little bit of info about what the link is, if it's something that can't be screen-shotted. If i'm sent a hyperlink without context, or with just 'what are your thoughts on this?,' chances or I'm probably not gonna open it.

In addition, I flat-out will not be opening tiktok links from now on. I'm with the boomers on this one, just, don't send me tiktoks.

And finally, the most important rule is Have Fun

I don’t wanna seem like I’m being fun-policey here, but this blog has to be fun for me too y'know. Since I started receiving way more asks that I used to, just thought a sort of guideline master-post might be useful.

My side-blog is my hobby and ultimately I will run it in the way that brings me the most joy. I certainly do enjoy receiving asks and engaging and interacting with people who share a love of the same music I do, but it's also true that I am not obligated to answer asks that I don’t want to — don't let this discourage you from sending asks!

But it's all just just something to bear in mind, and I ask that folks accept and respect that 🖤🤘
