Hello there anon and thank you so so much for this ask! You're my first official ask on this account!

It makes me so happy to see that Civ and Elkhi seem to resonate so well with people, not just because they're looking very similar to their ancestors Kuprum and Folkyl, but also because they're just super fun. I love drawing civ, he's srsly one of my fav ocs atm.

I work on the fantrolls with my friend rowes, and the combination of names usually comes together by combining the last names of the parents. For example Kalappa's last name is Vanmak, which is a mix of Vantas/Makara, since he's the kid of our characters Kenedy and Teddie.

CIv's name actually originally was Voqtux, since I originally did not intend for him to be Kuprum's descendant at all. He started out looking very different

I wasn't sure about this design though, and my friend answered me with "looks good, but I imagined him thicker and with sideburns"

Which I first wasn't sure about since I usually picture golds as kinda skinny for some reason?? But I tried it and the result were these two doodles which ended up being his final design

Still not a Kuprum descendant, I just added that kinda recently when I realized he's very similar acting to Kuprum. So once that was a thing, I simply replaced the Voq in Voqtux with Max from Maxlol to add family line similarities to his name. I did not design 'another half' though, so in our AU Kuprum paired up with some unknown troll to do the anonymous genetic donation thing and Civ was the result.

Elkhi - who was designed by my friend - has no name similarities to Folkyl at all. Their full name is Elkari Khiane. So their nickname is a combination of first and last name. They have voidrot too, but not to the same extend as Folkyl had it, it's a progressing disease in Elkhi's case.

How Folkyl managed to create a descendant idk, considering she would likely get culled during the ordeals. "Let's just roll with it because it's fun" is my answer to that.

When Kun had woken up that sunny November morning, he was fairly certain of how his day was going to proceed. He’d fold back his bed sheets, serve his ailing mother the last of the oats that he’d gathered at the supermarket a few days ago, and go out into the field to tend to the farm. He’d fix the slop for the pigs, milk the cows, collect the chicken’s eggs, rake out the small stables, and by early afternoon, he’d take what he could to sell at the town market. It was never too much, but it was enough to keep himself and his mother alive, and that was enough. Life just scraping by was mediocre, but if he could just stick to his routine, he could continue to live it without any hiccups.

But oh, oh, he couldn’t have been further from right. All of this was completely unintentional, and he’d been saying that several times to you since he’d stumbled down that (literal) rabbit hole chasing after a disobedient goat, but you were fairly confident that meeting him was fate. Destiny. “Prophesied by the gods”, or what have you. The goat in the tomb with you also just happened to be a messenger from Zeus himself, apparently.

No matter what you were saying, you surely didn’t sound like you were of this world.

“I’m t-telling you,” Kun just barely manages to stammer though his words, though you seem as if he’d said everything crystal clear, “you’ve got the wrong guy.”

Yet, if that was true, why did you continue to ignore everything he said?

Deeply sighing (and what did you have to sigh for, exactly? He was in far more disarray than you right now!), you sit up more from the stone coffin you were once sound asleep in, dust swimming around you at its first disturbance in 10,000 years. Or so you said. “And I’m telling you, boy,” the way you pronounce the last word makes him frown in contempt, “that no average human can just fall from the sky and wake me. You are very clearly the servant boy I requested upon my awakening.”

“I’m not!” Kun whines. The goat bleats nearby, munching on some of the grass that had obscured the hole they’d both fallen in through. The animal is calm, as if he hadn’t just been the reason why Kun was now trapped in a tomb with a crazy warrior wielding a- “Gods! What the hell is that?!”

You stop your descent from your coffin, meeting his eyes with curiosity, “What the hell is what?”

Kun had at first thought the shine from your coffin was from the sunlight gleaming on your tarnished metal garb, glinting in his eyes like the jewels that adorned the necks of royals, but now he could see it much more clearly through his anxious haze. There was something else in that coffin, something he couldn’t see pressed up against the stone wall as far from you as possible (which wasn’t much, given the modesty of your tomb). It shined with a white light that rivaled the moon. It didn’t seem to faze you at all. “That! The thing that’s- that’s shining! In the coffin!”

You follow his eyes back to your coffin as if you’d what he’d meant, your hand dipping inside to retrieve whatever was giving off the light. Kun clings closer to the cold stone.

In your hand, you brandish a stunning broadsword. Its blade is incredibly sharp, he can tell from even where he is, and it absolutely glows. It doesn’t glow even from sunlight because its not anywhere in direct contact with it… it does it all on its own. The handle is something else to behold as well, a matching silver to your armor that glints like pearls and diamonds. He wonders how it manages to stay so bright even when you are covered in a layer of dust, hair matted and untamed from god knows what that had been scrambling around in here for the last 10,000 years. Still… you don’t look that bad for someone supposed to be dead.

Almost like you’d heard his train of thought, you turn the sword over in your hand until the point is focused on him and you begin to move forward. A surprised gasp leaves his lips but his knees are locked; he can’t run!

Despite the threatening look of the sword up close though, you don’t look like you’re ready to plunge it into his chest. You stop some six feet away from him and turn the sword sideways so that the edge of the blade is pointing parallel to him. The light from the sword shines on his face and illuminates your own. He swears he sees little blue wisps rising from around the weapon as you steady it, “Oh, calm down. It’s just an ancient glowing sword. Nothing to be scared of.”

Kun laughs humorlessly, jagged fingernails digging into the rock behind him. Momentarily, he dreams that he can melt into it and disappear. “You’re holding it awfully close to my person…”

You smirk, “I wouldn’t kill my servant boy.”

There you go again! “Why do you keep calling me that?”

You lower the sword until it’s standing up at your side, casting an otherworldly glow along the ground. It illuminates your features much better than the minuscule sunlight let in by the hole he’d fallen through. Despite the dirt on your skin, it does nothing to mar your strong features. You’d told him that you were a warrior of the gods, but he didn’t actually begin to believe it until he saw you like this.

You were also attractive, he might say. Maybe. It could just be the lighting.

“Weren’t you listening before? When I told you who I was? (Y/N), the great warrior of Orepus, prophesied to come back from the dead in 10,000 years to vanquish the evil demon possessing your king-“ “Yeah, yeah, I got all that,” Kun’s interruption makes you huff, “but you never really explained the whole servant boy thing.”

You pout in a way unbefitting of a great, supposedly immortal warrior, but it somehow fits your personality well anyway, “The priests who laid me to rest explained that when I would come back, I would need a companion. Someone who would be undoubtedly submitted to me in all matters so that I might properly carry out my duty. You are the boy, for that someone would be the one who would awaken me… and you did.”

“Technically, it was the goat.” Kun mutters, before his eyes narrow in, “and what? Submit to you in all matters? How broad is all matters?” He wouldn’t admit to it either, but a faint blush was beginning to spread to his neck at the possibilities. Goodness, he really needed to get out more.

You seem to know where he’s going with it because your smirk comes back, your form happily caging him in some as you walk forward, “The terms are negotiable.”

Kun places a hand to your shoulder, meaning to stop you where you stood, and for the first time since he’d been down there, he makes actual physical contact with you. Granted, it’s not skin to skin, but something… changes in Kun at that moment (even your taunting words leave his mind). 

In his mind’s eye, you stand there, in all your great glory, shining like your sword as you slay monsters left and right. He is in silent awe of your power and almost pulls his hand back away from you, but something tells him his vision would cease if he did.

Instead, he subconsciously pulls you closer, mouth agape as he visualizes the moments from your glory days to the very rainy night when you were buried. Candlelight fought the rainwater to light the violet sky, and songs chanted in the olden language were sung by the hundreds- no, thousands of people at your funeral. From what he could make out of some of the words, they were all… parts of your story. You really were a divine entity to those people, and you were their only hope for this prophecy. The prophecy to kill Zirzirath, the demon you’d locked away 10,000 years ago in hopes that it would stay, only for him to return once more and take possession of the current king.

His king, the man who was the reason for the shortage in food and the crumbling economy of the kingdom, the man who was the reason that proper medical care was not being given out to the less fortunate and why Kun’s mother was practically on her death bed now as she was. The gluttonous king chose to take everything for himself and to feast on the agony of his people, but it was no doubt that a mere human could never have such power, even one as great as the king. Kun always knew other factors were at play, but only when you’d told him a demon was behind it did it really begin to make sense.

Kun reluctantly pulls away when the vision ends, his eyes refocusing in on you. Your own are wide, gauging, “What did you see, boy?”

“I saw… everything. The prophecy, your fighting, everything.” His voice is but a whisper but the words carry in the tomb like he’d shouted them. “And I heard about me… in the songs they sung… a-at least I think it was about me. They kept mentioning your companion, the only one who could wake you.”

You nod, backing away some, “It’s true. You’re not the first to stumble here, boy, but you are the first to wake me. Why do you think the entry is covered in grass and not stone? Many have tried to do what you didn’t even mean to, and all of them met disaster because of it.” When Kun gives you a horrified look, you clarify, “Only the ones who meant harm.”

“…can you stop calling me boy? I’m… I’m a man, you know. And I have a name.”

“My apologies, what is your name?”

“Kun.” He says, trying to be confident. Your eyes widen a bit and you… you seem to smile. It’s tiny, quickly gone, and strikes a chord within Kun. “W-What? What is it?”

“Nothing,” you say, sounding too afflicted for it to be nothing, “I just… when I was alive, I knew a boy named Kun. He and I were… very close. I never saw him before I was buried, didn’t get the chance. It was urgent I go when I did.”

Kun knows his name is not that special in the kingdom, and probably so 10,000 years ago. But when you tell him this, the pieces of him that still doubt all of this to be true shatter altogether. The odds that you were close to someone with the same name as him so long ago, only to find him again like this (or rather, he find you like this) felt too coincidental to be coincidence.

And the way you study him afterwards, as if seeing him in a different light, doesn’t bother him as much as it might’ve ten minutes ago.

“As much as I’d love to be your companion, I have my mother to take care of. She is incredibly sick and needs me to care for her constantly. I can only tell you what I know and send you on your way.” Kun says, rather melancholy all of a sudden. Despite the shock and information overload he’d received in the little time it took for him to chase a runaway goat into a pit and awaken an immortal warrior, he had always been practical. Family first, always. This warrior would just have to fight their battle alone.

You hum, pondering. A minute goes by before you speak again, “As much as I should be replenishing my power instead of lowering it, a good night’s rest will surely help me sleep off the effects.”

“The… effects?”

���The gods prophecy clearly states that you are to help me, be by my side till the very end, and this means that any obstacle in the way of that coming to pass will be remedied by the gods. Not only do I have my god-given strength, I also can be a miracle worker if need be. That means…” You clear your throat under Kun’s heavy, confused gaze, “…the gods shall allow me to heal your mother. Whatever ails her, it is but a spec in the eyes of the gods and will be wiped clean in a breath.”

Okay, now this was starting to sound really enticing.

“If you can heal my mother… I will swear my life to you.” The sheer determination in his voice both shocks and excites you, setting you going like a rolling stone.

You immediately grin and swing your sword up and onto your shoulder, chuckling, “My, my, sounds like we’ve got a deal, Kun. I think I’ll like you.”

Kun shuffles from side to side and prays, prays, prays to the gods that this isn’t all some illusion his malnourished mind is warping to keep him sane. He prays that this is real, that you can do what you say, and that you really can end the king’s tyrannical reign.

But first… “So… how do we get out of here?”

You look up at the hole in the ceiling before hissing under your breath, “Gods, you’d think they’d leave me a ladder or something. What kind of underground tomb is this?”

A pretty neutral one? I don’t like him, but I don’t actively dislike him either since his type of character is just something I’m assuming Jump editors outright ask for considering they’re in every single shounen ever - mostly I just forget he exists tbh, which is rude but he’s really rude too so that’s fine lol he has his moments and I’m very lowkey hoping he’ll be developed and grow out of the walking trope he is (it’s just wishful thinking, probably)(I appreciate that Horikoshi writes his behaviour as something as disgusting as it is, tho, kudos to you Horikoshi) but as things stand right now I mostly roll my eyes at him and forget he’s a thing the moment he walks off screen haha

So as stated above, I had a really bad day. It all started on Saturday (yesterday but I’m going to call it today cuz I havent slept so it’s still saturday to my brain). I had to work my first job at Taco Hell from 11:30a-7:30p. So i got there and absolutely NOTHING WAS DONE so I had to do the work of 3 people and I got pissed but I was able to calm down (slightly). So a few hours pass and it’s now 2:30 and this bitch is late for her shift. She strolls in an hour late and clock’s in but doesn’t. start. working. She sits there and eats and that just makes me even more mad like I’m sitting there getting my ass kicked and she can’t be a decent human being?! So I do what I always do when I’m mad…I get super hella quiet vocally and I start banging stuff as I make the food and at one point I slammed a cabinet door and this other person told me I had to chill and you can imagine how that made me. So my boss pulled me aside and I broke like I started crying out of frustration for about half an hour and then I was just drained. Thankfully she let me go home at 6 instead of 7:30 but at that point I was just an empty shell of a worker.

I go home, eat, and relax before I had to start my second job at 9:30p. Nothing really happened and my second job was nice and slow and relaxing so it wasn’t bad….until the morning person decided not to show up on time (6am) so I had to stay a little longer but my boss said fuck it and sent me home at 6:30a so I showered and now I’m here! And I feel so much better! You really know how to lift a person’s spirit;) now lets see if I can go to sleep before I have to go back to Taco Bell at 2p today…..

Ahhhh yesss…my coming out story….I’m going to put that under the cut for length and (warning before you decide to venture down the path of my past) trigger warnings! (suicide and slight homophobia)

Aiiiggghhhhtt this is a dosey. So I’m going to start at the beginning. At one point in my life i thought i was straight…and then a girl asked me out when i was 12(? close enough). BUUTTTT of course I thought I was straight so I told her I wasn’t into girls (whoops) and that I was sorry. The thing was, when she asked me out I got nervous, like butterflies in your stomach kind, but I thought that was just because someone asked me out and was unrelated to the gender of said person. I was just unused to getting asked out.

Fast forward to high school. It was pretty uneventful except for the fact that I started to realize that I thought girls were hot just like i thought guys were hot. Idk exactly when that happened but it did. I never put a label on it because I didn’t really care. I liked guys, girls, and anything in between and I was okay with that.

You see, I grew up in a VERY catholic home but I never believed myself. My parents never talked about homosexuality so I was never taught that it was a bad thing, meaning that no matter how my parents felt on the matter i never knew about it and I was able to form my own opinion.

The summer before my freshman year of college I went to a camp held by my college and I met a guy who is a good friend of mine now. We bonded over anime (more specifically Attack on Titan) and I found out he was gay. He asked me what my orientation was and I said that Im attracted to any gender but I didn’t know what that would label me as and he said (enter drum roll here) PANSEXUAL!!! So I looked it up and it fit pretty well and I just decided to go with it. 

Fast forward another year and I started to question gender. I’m biologically female but most days I don’t feel female but I don’t feel male and I still don’t know what that means (im still exploring and doing research so she/they pronouns work for now (but i’m leaning more towards “they”)…I am debating changing my name at this point but I’m fine with Sara for now lol).

I don’t keep in touch with friends from high school really so none of them really know but all of my college friends and other friends know. I just casually bring it up in conversation. Like someone will be like “oh whats your idea guy like sara” and ill basically say that i like my guys to be taller than me but my girls/nonbinary partners to be any height and anything other than height makes no difference to me and everyone’s fine with it.

Alright, now the sad stuff. End of July 2016 I came out to my parents. My mother thought that meant that I was a pedophile and that I was also into be bestiality because she read somewhere that pansexual means that you’re sexually attracted to ANYTHING (like WTF mom?) so i explained (aka looked up the definition for her cuz she wouldn’t listen to me). After an hour of me crying because I was terrified of not being accepted, they decided that this was just a phase and I’ll find my real sexuality when I have my first relationship (I’m 20 and havent even been on a date…im hopeless at this point lol jk). My dad said that i’m just too nice and accepting of everyone and that I would only date a girl because I would be too guilty to turn her down (WTF dad?). I gave up at that point. That entire conversation left me drained and depressed so I tried to kill myself. I had to be taken to the hospital and not I can’t take certain medicines (aka my migraine medicine) cuz my stomach is fucked up now but eh. Only my parents know in my family and I’ve been debating telling my brother (the 19yo one)(the 7yo and 11yo i don’t really care if they know or not) but idk how he is with homosexuality and we arent really that close but we have a good relationship but idk….

I also accidentally came out to my boss at work today (when I was having my breakdown) and she smiled and said “well thats just more love you have to give to the world!” and I’ve never been more appreciative to my boss than at that moment. 2 other people at my work know too. I don’t really broadcast it unless people ask (or im on Tumblr cuz I can proudly be myself here lol)

I hope this wasnt too sad of a story to read (or too confusing….my hands are shaking as I type this and my grammar probably got a lot worse…I need to sleep fam lolol)

Least fave characters: Gonna answer the leasts first, it’ll be shorter lmao. My least favcharacters are… Ren and Akira, I guess? They’re Akito’s parents after all and if they hadn’t emotionally and psychologically abused her, the curse/Akito’s treatment of the Zodiac members would have turned out very differently (captain understatement here)

Least fav ships: have one canon and one non-canon~ Hana/Kazuma(Shishou) because, age gap much? Plus it didn’t have much development as far as I remember, really felt like it came out of left field and like Takaya-sensei was hurrying to pair everyone off XD also I ship Uo/Hana like whoa so I’m a tiny bit salty about it

Also also Akito/Tohru (I see it a lot on FF.net) holy crap the power imbalance/age gap again, it’s way WAY too squicky for me

Fav characters? All of them sorry that’s a cop-out+notentirely true (see above) but honestly I love them all (yes even Akito with reservations). Well let’s see, top 5 I guess, pardon the genericness I suppose.

1 TOHRU HONDA. She was a cinnamon roll before cinnamon rolls were a thing!! I love love love how her insecurities are slowly revealed (could apply to a lot of them tbh), that you think she’s a Pollyanna but she’s trying so hard to help literally everyone because she’s terrified of facing her past (but like she does genuinelywant to help everyone)… she is my eternal daughter and I’ll love her forever ok

2 Yuki-kuuuuun~ Full disclosure: he was my first 2D crush(my sis got vol 1 for my 15th birthday so yeah) ❤quite possibly kickstarted my love for pretty boys. I kinda shipped Kyoru and Yukiru at first and had trouble choosing (not these days *coughs*) but I felt 100% ok if Tohru picked Kyonkichi bc then I could steal Yun-chan hahaha I was a dork

3 Kyo-kun. Like, I can feel myself devolving into incoherent asdgljh but I’ll try to have reasons… kind of like Tohru’s bubbliness, prickly Kyonkichi is a defense mechanism. It’s just, so great that Takaya-sensei didn’t make him a total asshole and had Kyoru happen anyway, y’know? All the bad boy/good girl stuff that happens in romance where bad boy = actual douche, Takaya wasn’t having any of that, there are depths to everyone like real people. ALSO. Kyo seeing past Tohru’s positivity to her fears and accepting them, how he slowly warms up to her, I just *screeches*

4 Momiji. MY SON. With so many tragic backstories, this poor kid?? Really gets to me??? And his unrequited love for Tohru and letting her go bc he knows she and Kyo belong together and he wants her to be happy uuuughhhhe’s too pure

5 Kyoko *cries endlessly* she was a BAMF in so many ways, I dunnoI can’t think of much else, my feels

ArisaxSaki *shoves AU-ish fic in your face* because someone made a joke in the manga (I think?) that they’re like Tohru’s parents, so protective, and my imagination took off from there/I learned more about them in canon. They complement each other imo but at the same time their personalities are so different– thought I’d have more to say about them bc they’re so important to me but…

My number one ship that blows all others out of the water iiiiis! KyoxTohruxYuki. and it’s terrible because it’s the rareship hell to end all rareship hells but also wonderful because I feel free to write whatever i want on them fic-wise *flings all my Yukyoru stuff at you bc ego* I’ve shipped them together for i dunno 5 years now? I don’t remember what started it. i know I found some semi-Yukyoru fic on FF.net that is long and amazing and will never be finished whyyyy

but at some point i started shipping love triangles as OT3s to amuse myself (cuz srsly, screw that noise) and/or found ships that screamed OT3 at me– but the usual way for me to OT3 something is, well I ship pair A and pair B and kinda like Pair C so I’ma mush them together! a mix of that led me to Yukyoru. honestly though. in CANON you can see how much Tohru cares for both of them and how much Yuki and Kyo care for her (Yuki seeing her as a motherly figure never quite sat right with me btw) AND! Kyo and Yuki way deep down respect each other (they were my first rivalship. do not tell me Takaya-sensei didn’t know exactly what she was doing drawing this ha!) so it’s not total crack to say feelings could be mutual all around. also official art of those three is everywhere so it’s just fuel for the shipping fire now. nothing will ever be enough to show how damn hard I ship them, everything is beautiful and everything hurts.
