Swedish / British, He / Him, 26 Captain of the South District Cis, (closeted) Gay

    One of Caesar’s Guardsmen, and a Captain. Angry, spiteful, and violent, he often abuses his position to mess with Mattias’ friends, as the two were once very close. Bruley also has incredibly strong feelings for Trond, and is one of Trond’s more consistent customers, having a near uncontrollable desire to be around him despite Trond having little to no interest in him at all due to his nasty personality. Despite how strong Bruley’s feelings are for Trond, he’s incredibly terrified of them, and does all he can to hide and smother them. He lets out his frustration about his hidden desires and Trond clearly not returning them by messing with the Mattias, Tim, Sycamore, Alder, or Emmett, the latter who Bruley knows Trond has some kind of affection for.     He feels incredible envy towards Emmett, despising him for having Trond's affections. He always tries to catch Emmett in the act of sneaking around the Camp's junkyard for supplies and scraps; but much to his frustration, he always misses him.

Like Fable was lamenting, this Picrew is woefully bereft of facial hair and POC features (and I am choosing to lament the lack of stereotypical masculine features). I chose to do all my AFAB Fallout characters as much justice as I could. So without further ado, meet the family!

All these babes are a part of my clusterfuck of a retelling of Fallout 4. @fablewritesnonsense 's wonderful fic Nuclear Family is very similar in it's premise though Fable isn't crazy enough to have 7 Sole Survivors. They are normal and went with only 2. I, on the other hand, seem to be a masochist when it comes to my writing and like juggling 20+ people right off the bat and then only adding to that number as time goes on (I've been working on an "intimate" christmas oneshot for YEARS and this close family gathering has 50 fucking people. DON'T YOU JUST LOVE ENSEMBLE FICTION SO MUCH???)

Anyways, the three Sole Survivors missing are Louis DeSalva, Atticus Bruley, and Zebediah Kahan. All three are Cis (He/him) and varying levels of queer. Louis and Zeb work with the Railroad, Atticus is a Paladin with the BoS.

As with my BG3 stuff, there is no promise of a fanfiction ever coming to fruition. These blorbos live rent free in the mind palace and occasionally get their world shaken around like a snow globe to see if any new ideas shake out of it. There are a few more OCs connected to these characters (A few blasts from the past to rock the foundations) but I am going to preserve a level of mystery to the story still lmao. One day I'll write up a ridiculously long summary of the story. One day lmao

creek: woodcarver from a taiga biome. best friends with pike the enderman and cosmo calloway / dr. fear. does his best to be optimistic and comfortable but always seems to be afraid of something. has a twin brother named tide! he / him

pike: runaway enderman who escaped the end. lived with creek and tide in the woods for 14 years before an accident that made them have to leave. best friends with creek and cal and the oldest of four siblings. very in tune to the emotions of others, but isnt very good with them. she / he / they

calloway: former con artist who meets creek and pike while on their way to beacontown. runs a shop that sells stuff like oddities and antiques. always has the urge to look over their shoulder, but doesn’t know why. has wither sickness and amnesia! they / them

tide: creeks twin brother. was zombified after attempting to protect creek and find pike while being attacked in the woods. later becomes best friends with cal and becomes a courier. he / him

myrtle: pikes youngest sibling from the end. escapes long after pike does to try and find a way to save her home. has an interest in scrolls and myths and loves history! she / her

lotus: creek and tides mother who went missing after giving them time to escape their old farm while it was under attack. very fond of her sons and not very fond of their father. a former farmer and claw’s first owner! she / her

emmett: golden hearted tinker and proud mechanic. he owns and maintains the main group’s mode of transportation which is a run down volkswagen bus named buggy. has the worlds fattest crush on trond and the most positive outlook out of the whole group. he / him

trond: a guy with a lot of walls and not a lot of optimism. not a pessimist, but has come to accept the group’s poor circumstances and living situation and doesn’t expect their day to day struggles to ever go away. he / him

mattias: loud and proud. was in the running to be part of the campguard force but dropped it after witnessing one of his fellow trainees using the position to harass emmett. now works odd jobs to help him and his friends get by. also looking to start a revolution. he / him

tim: musician who plays songs in the square to make a bit of extra money. actual job is as a baker with the camp elder alder and his grandson sycamore. strives for change just as much as mattias, if not more, but is more careful and calculated than his other half. he / him

mattias solis! i think out of all the main 8 truenorth characters he got the biggest palette change / visual update. weirdly he reminds me of big mac ?? every time i look at him im like what apple family humanization is this.

Scottish / Dutch, He / Him, 26 A burning fire     Hotheaded and loyal. Mattias’ whole world is his friends, and he would do almost anything for them. Ashamed by his past association with some of Caesar’s most well-known Guardsmen– including Abe Bruley–Mattias does all he can now to help people like himself and his friends by picking up any odd job he possibly can, though his hotheadedness and tendency to speak his mind before using it to think makes him both incredibly popular with the younger and poorer Campfolk and extremely unpopular with the older and richer Campfolk. He’s considered a problem by the Guardsmen and Caesar, and while most would find the targets on their head horrifying, Mattias instead flaunts this, using it to show that if one young man terrifies Caesar so much, just how strong is he? He doesn’t seem afraid of anything; nothing can get under his skin. He won’t let it.     Tim and Emmett are his inspirations, along with Trond, who he hopes to change the mind of. While his look towards the world is much more bitter than hopeful, feeling that the injustices done to people who’ve done nothing but try and survive are needlessly cruel, he hopes to change it.

claire and alex jokingly submit dean to queer eye and the fab five make their way to the bunker. bobby is obsessed and fascinated with the architecture because it is so simple and yet so ugly and the layout makes absolutely no sense but every time he tries to change something he accidentally activates a cursed object so sam has to follow him around like a babysitter. jvn asks dean his skincare routine and the answer sends them into cardiac arrest. antoni is touched and delighted by dean’s stories of cooking everything but the kitchen sink for sammy growing up and they trade stories about their respective fathers that have mind-bending implications for the audience. it is never mentioned again. tan tries to give dean a jean jacket but he gets so distracted by his pretty green eyes that he literally forgets where they are. in fact every time dean so much as smiles tan looks into the camera and fans himself like a lady in waiting. karamo tries to poke at dean’s inner turmoil and needs a six hour break from filming to collect himself while dean eats a cheeseburger. they are ENTRANCED by cas. obsessed with his vibes. nothing gets done all week but on their way out jvn tells dean that if he doesn’t lock cas down soon they WILL, and then it’s dead quiet in the bunker until dean asks “wait - did they think i was gay?”. alex rolls her eyes and slaps a twenty down in claire’s palm. dean never buys a facial sunscreen.
