What i was getting at was that im not gonna outright call it mental illness, especially since the the whole shtick of hetalia is to satirically stereotype groups of people. And people who come across page my might not know that them being nations is not even a secondary trait to me, but barely a tertiary one.

But i do agree that talking and giving them disorders, like adhd, autism and whotnot, brings a sort of normality of such in everyday life. I guess i just really want to focus more on what they actively do and how the fuck the deal with it, than come out and label it.

I keep discusing this with friends and im gonna put this out here: Tumblr is a melting pot of good and bad opinions, especially in the fandoms. But i truly believe thatultimately, its about creating characters that feel relatable. If you find comfort in Alfred and Jack being adhd buddies, then by all means, let them have that 30 min conversation about 77 different topics. Mental health is arelatively nuanced spectrum i think, and certain labels can and dont have to apply.
