What does the book mean to you, my dear Reader? For me, it is a possible way to run away from reality, to be able to finally relax mentally and even emotionally. Books occupy a huge place in my heart; it is a way to dissolve into another unknown world, where everything is so new and mysterious and which I so desperately want to know. Each book leaves a huge influence on me, my thoughts, and my opinion. They touch my heart and leave a huge mark on my soul. They make me cry, be happy, angry and laugh. But what I love even more about books is their ability to take you into a world of imagination. Where each story or character becomes a reality. I don't think that without imagination people would be able to create such wonderful masterpieces. Without imagination, history and facts about the past and present, I don't think there would be any good books, but this is purely my opinion. Imagination helps to create the main characters, plots and history makes these works more exciting, detailed and even educational.

There are so many different genres of books, where each of them I consider as a separate universe, and none of them will be similar. All of them will have a different meaning, story, lessons, and will have a totally diverse influence on you. Some of them probably will change your own opinion or even your personality, who knows? In my case, books make me think a lot. About this life, changes that happened in the past, what the differences we have right now, how generations have changed, and this world. Usually, when a person thinks too much, it puts a lot of pressure on him, right? But these kinds of thoughts are most likely entertainment for my inner child, who wants to know more and find the answer to his questions. These thoughts drive me to kinda another world where I can be with myself all alone. Such time helps me to regain my power and to feel refreshed. Moreover, books help me to travel all around the world, different centuries, dimensions and universes. In one day, I can be in so many places, to see how various countries were living before, or even to imagine how cities were looking in the past. Isn't that the magic and beauty of books? When you are able to be a part of something great and unknown. 

I do believe that books can connect and unite people. This is because they help to uncover emotions and feelings that have been sleeping for a long time deep inside. Also, they encourage people to be more open and to speak out more freely about what they think without fear. At least in my case, books and examples of different characters from them inspired me to become bolder. In addition, common opinions and interests in books help to find a person similar to you in spirit. Some even find their love because love for books united them. That is why I think, books are not just a text with a boring meaning, but also play an important role in bringing people together.  

As you can see books are not just and accessory for me but a significant aspect of my life. They are my relaxation, inspiration and at the same time a way that helps me to grow as a person. They help me to see the world from different perspectives, to learn more about the past and now. Moreover, to see how cultures and traditions are different, so unique but at the same time can be kinda similar. They help me to pay attention to things that I didn't capture in my daily life or probably never thought about it so deeply. Books are not just papers with words; each of them has its own soul and history. It leaves its own mark on people and writers. Even behind the writing of the book, there lies a great story, which will probably be opened one day.
