February’s Bonjour Jolie box was Mardi Gras themed!!! I loved the colourful bath salt that was included! :) This will be the last Bonjour Jolie post in a while since I won’t be home to receive the packages… :( Hopefully I’ll resubscribe to them again, if not I’ll subscribe to another box! :3

Just wanted to warn you that a lot of customers are saying bonjourjolie is actually dodgy as hell. It fails to send boxes and then it's near impossible to unsubscribe from. Be careful!

As someone who actually used bonjourjolie once, I feel like it's important for everyone to know that they are NOT a reliable company. They kept taking my money each month without ever actually sending me a period box. Customer service was also almost impossible to reach. There's tons of negative reviews of the company too if you look for them. Anyway, I would not recommend them.

Bonjour Jolie Box- August 2013 Unboxing!

So, I must just say how much I love this box. I really look forward to it every month because they send awesome goodies! Besides supplying me with 30 pads (which is many more than I typically use), they send bath goodies and tea, and a gift. I really love getting the little drawstring bags too because I can reuse them for so many things. They're great for organizing your purse, especially if you switch bags often, they keep it all together. Also great to save for some quick small gift packing.

Anyway- Here's what all came in the box this month!

Treats:

Leccare Lollipops These were awesome lollipops. Seriously, I haven't been this excited about suckers since I was little. I will so be ordering some of these.

Just Add Honey Tea Company- 5 assorted flavors of teas. I wasn't crazy about the flavors I've tasted, but I definitely appreciate that it's freshly dried and hand packed!

Gift:

Silver and Stone Bracelet:

I still haven't decided if I will keep this for myself or give it as a gift. I love the style and color, but I'm just not much of a bracelet person.

Pampering:

Organic Herbal Hand Scrub from beazersgarden.com- It seems like a great quality product, but unfortunately came in a scent that I don't like.

Happy Hands Lotion from happyhandsstore.com- I got a sample of honeysuckle lotion, and I was sold! I ordered some more samples from her, and ordered a gift for my grandma's birthday. She has a ton of scents to choose from. Also, I had a special request for a gift message and she was very friendly and helpful. Awesome customer service.

Scardey Cat Mineral Eye Shadow- Cruelty-free and free of parabens, fillers, fragrance, talc, and bismuth. I received a shimmery purple color and I love it. It's in an adorable tiny bottle. etsy.com/shop/ScaredyCatCosmetics

Herbal Bath Salts from Barefoot Apothecary- I used this right away! I think maybe the sample was a little too small to scent the tub of water, but I liked the smell of the salts before I put them in. etsy.com/shop/BarefootApothecary

Sensibles Sanitary Bags- anti-microbial and biodegradable disposable bags for feminine products. Very nice when you're over at someone's house and don't want to just chuck a used product in their trash can (or use half a roll of toilet paper trying to wrap it up). scentsiblesbags.com

My favorite products in the box this month were the Leccare Lollipops and Happy Hands Lotion!

Again, I'm very impressed with both the box and the customer service with Bonjour Jolie and recommend it to anyone wanting to streamline their monthly process (not to mention make it more enjoyable- you have something to look forward to in the mail!).

They also offer boxes for young teens, and a first period box with a variety of feminine products to try out to find a preference.

Bonjour Jolie Box: New Year, New You!

Monthly subscription Period box. $21 a month. They send You Up to 25 feminine care products of your brand choice (liners,pads,tampons,cups). You get a treat they claim is worth $10-20. Medicine,tea, feminine wipes, snacks and other little goodies.  This months theme new years.

My Box- Suppiles: 15 tampons 5 liners 5 pads. 2 single servings of advil, and sanitary wipes worth $11 est.

*due to my "special" condition i had a 35 day period. so i had to buy more supplies, the 25  + the other supplies left over from boxes didnt cut it. 

The Treat:  Blue Swarovski Crystal Pendant Necklace  Worth $30

*Oh! something i actually like, and would probably wear! do i think its worth $30? no.... but i dont hate it :) Goodies:Sunkist Fruit Gems, Choco almond, sea sal bar, Cadbury caramello bar, 5 teas!  est worth $4.5

*OMG Cadbury.... these treats get better and better. even though  it was lacking on the quantity im use to... im happier for quailty products!

Pampering Bag: Bath & body works hand sanitizer, B+BW bath gel, B+BW lotion, body heat  patch  est worth $5.75

*more mini soaps and lotions. but YAY for brand name i know and love! yay for a decent scent!  not to many goodies but But YAY for heating pad! they didnt even write that in on the card free  add in?

Box $16 + $5 shipping = $21       Worth $40.25

PRESENTATION- Comes in a nice sized re-useable box, treats comes in nice gift bags you can reuse as well. supplies come wrapped in plastic bag/ if you dont like getting loose supplies you can request an unopened box of one type of product. 

BEST-  OMG cadbury!

WORST-  eh, if i had to pic it would be the super small size bath gel and  lotion. least i didnt get  candle again

What Surprised Me: a "gift" i didnt hate, and hello CADBURY

TL:DR: if you like getting packages in the mail, if you like treats, if you hate your period this box is for you! supplies, treats, foods, etc etc etc for around $20 its worth the price of what you get even though most of the stuff you get is probably something you wouldnt choose to buy for yourself in the first place. but everyone likes surprises so i say try it out!

I give this subscription box  4 outta 5 stars. I liked just about everything in this box. quality over quantity! if the pampering items were a  bit more or bigger i would of given it a 5 of 5. Bonjour Boxes are turning out to be my FAVORITE sub box i have.  They had a few off months, but they have been soaring since Nov! *i would also like to note, that even though i am annoyed that i never receive their emails (track etc etc etc) they are quite accommodating and their Customer Service is Superb! I Received my box today, i usually get it  towards the end of the month but it was super late, i emailed them and they said apparently my box had been damaged and they were rushing me a new one. i feel like they threw in a few extra goodies. im not sure.
