Specialized S-Works Epic Hardtail World Cup 2017 do MTBiker Érick Bruske

Natural de Indaial, Santa Catarina, Érick Bruske está desde a categoria de base na Specialized. Com 18 anos de idade sua evolução é constante, fato que comprova com seus principais títulos: Bicampeão Brasileiro Junior e Medalha de Bronze no Panamericano de Team Relay – que conquistou sobre sua Specialized Epic FSR Pro Carbon. Agora, o atleta da sub-23 é o primeiro atleta a receber a novíssima Specialized Epic S-Works Epic HT World Cup 2017, a nova “arma” para o cross country olímpico (XCO).

“Leveza e a atenção que foi dada a cada detalhe da bicicleta” destaca Erick que recebeu em primeira mão sua nova ferramenta de trabalho durante o evento S-Works Award, na loja Bike Speck, em Indaial (SC).

O quadro em carbono FACT 12m promete revolucionar o cross country de competição, com sua geometria agressiva, cabeamento interno, região robusta para o movimento central PF30 BB, gancheira traseira 12x148mm, montagem triangular post-mount para freio a disco com rotor de 160mm. O modelo oferece o quadro mais leve da Specialized, redesenhado do zero para garantir uma vantagem em performance, isto é, para criar uma bike que voa morro acima com facilidade, desce ladeiras com confiança, sem desperdiçar um watt sequer. Sem dúvida, é uma bike épica. O diferencial do chassi está no conceito Rider-First Engineered ™ que se originou-se da estradeira Tarmac. O projeto do quadro aplica a especificidade a cada tamanho do tubo e layup do carbono para cada tamanho de quadro. Isso cria o equilíbrio ótimo de rigidez, peso e capacidade de resposta, de modo que cada quadro, independentemente do tamanho, funciona exatamente com o pretendido.

A Specialized Epic S-Works Epic HT World Cup 2017 do Erick Bruske é a mesma bicicleta vendida nas lojas, apenas com alguns detalhes da sua própria configuração de pilotagem. “Utilizo um quadro tamanho M, em que o quadro originalmente ficou com o toptube mais alongado (595mm) e o chainstay ficou mais curto (430mm). Uso o cockpit com o guidão original de 720mm, mesa de 90mm de comprimento com ângulo negativo (-21º)” revela Erick as medidas extraídas após os ajustes do BodyGeometry Fit. A Specialized Epic S-Works Epic HT World Cup 2017 vem equipada com a suspensão RockShox SID World Cup com tecnologia Brain e 90/100 de curso de amortecimento. “O ajuste da minha suspensão é em torno de 90psi de calibragem com regulagem de sensibilidade do Brain na metade” – conta Erick que pesa 60 quilos. As rodas Roval Control SL de carbono feitas à mão – aro 29 polegadas - são montadas com pneus Specialized Fast Trak, em que a calibragem depende do tipo de percurso, mas Erick usa geralmente entre 22 a 24psi de pressão. Na parte da transmissão, a S-Works Epic  HT World Cup de Erick Bruske oferece 12 velocidades (SRAM XX1 Eagle) como a bike de série, mas o atleta utiliza também o pedivela Sram com medidor de potência SRM e opta pela coroa com 36 dentes. “Me sinto melhor com essa relação X cadência com o cassete 1o-50 dentes” - comenta. Para completar o conjunto, Erick veste Specialized. “Para essa temporada estamos fardados com os melhores uniformes da Specialized, tanto para os treinos quanto para as corridas.
