Today I went to my 8am discussion class just like any other day and on the way back, I decided to stop by our dining hall. Throughout the year, by other freshman and some upperclassmen, I’ve been told that the freshly squeezed orange juice was really good. Like any other person would, I went to go try it and let me tell you, it was soooo freakin good. But anyways, yea the breakfast overall was nice and very unusual for me. I’m doing a paper for Psychology right now and when I finish it, I gotta study for my 2 finals on tuesday and 1 on wednesday. 😭🙃

P.S. I might even be commuting next quarter.

It’s honestly so crazy the differences I’ve been seeing in my life just because of the little changes I have begun to make.

So for starters I’ve decided instead of wasting time in the car like I have always used to, I will use the time to listen to podcasts of Ted Talks and whatnot. Even today, when I was home with my mom, I decided to bring a book to read in the car instead of just sitting there.(yes I know it’s not good to read in the car) And just that simple thing has started to make me feel more accomplished and productive by motivating me to do more. If anyone’s reading this, let me know of any changes you recently made in your life!! 😄

Despite Your Circumstance

I think the phrase “despite your circumstance” is such amazing advice, but for me, I look at it differently than others.

There’s been so many times in my life where someone would tell me that faith stems from the ability to look to God in your darkest times, or when you reach a new low. But something that I have experienced was that for me, it was easy looking to God when I’m in pain, or when I’m suffering. To me, the hard part was looking to God and really putting my trust in him, when I was doing good or when I was happy and content. I began to notice, that these are the moments where I ignored or forgot about God although he was the one who put me in the circumstance where I was happy.

I feel like it’s so easy to blame him or look to him to help us and guide us through the darkness as we trust he has control, but yet when we are doing good, we forget to thank him and acknowledge that he was the one who put us in the place we are.

I haven’t really posted much and i guess for a little bit I was just somewhat unmotivated to keep adding content, but now i came back feelin better. I have a midterm on monday and another one on wednesday but Im just playin fortnite and i havent started studying 😭. I will try my best to really study tomorrow and sunday tho!! Gotta ace these!
